• PRIDE: THE SILENT KILLER — PART 1

Beloved, there is a difference between confidence and pride.

    Confidence says:
“By God’s grace, I can do this.”

    Pride says:
“I don’t need God. I did this myself.”

“But thou shalt remember the LORD thy God: for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth.” — Deuteronomy 8:18

    God can bless you.
    God can promote you.
    God can make you successful.

But as you rise, remain humble.

Never allow the blessing to make you forget the Blesser.

Never allow your talent to make you forget who gave you the gift.

And never let the gift become greater than the Giver.

Stay humble. Stay teachable. Stay grateful.

  • Today, slow down and listen. Listen to God's voice through His Word. Listen to the wisdom He places around you. A teachable heart is a pathway to a blessed life.

The more we listen to God, the more clearly we can walk in His purpose.

  • Luke 4 shows the beginning of Jesus’ ministry.

But it also shows something deeper:

    God’s calling sometimes leads through
    testing
    rejection
    spiritual battles

    Yet God’s purpose always prevails.

  • THE DOOR WAS SHUT: A WARNING TOO POWERFUL TO IGNORE

    Matthew 25:10
"And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came, and those who were ready went in with him to the marriage feast, and the door was shut."

In the powerful story told by Jesus Christ in the Parable of the Ten Virgins, ten virgins waited in the night for the coming of the bridegroom. Each carried a lamp, but not all carried enough oil.

For a long time the bridegroom delayed. The night grew quiet, and one by one they became sleepy. Finally, they all fell asleep under the dark sky, their lamps beside them.

Then suddenly, at midnight, a loud cry broke the silence:
“Behold, the bridegroom is coming! Go out to meet him!”

Everyone woke up in a rush. The virgins quickly lifted their lamps. But in that urgent moment, a painful truth was revealed. Five of them had prepared wisely and brought extra oil. Their lamps burned bright. But the other five had not prepared. Their lamps were fading and dying.

Panicked, the foolish virgins begged the wise ones to share their oil. But there was not enough for everyone. Desperate, they ran into the night to buy more oil before the bridegroom arrived.

While they were gone, the bridegroom finally came.

Those who were ready went inside with him into the wedding feast. Joy, music, and celebration filled the house. Then something happened that changed everything.

    The door was shut.

Later, the other virgins returned and knocked desperately on the door, crying, “Lord, Lord, open to us!”

But the answer from inside was heartbreaking:
“I truly tell you, I do not know you.”

Through this powerful parable, Jesus Christ gave a warning that still speaks today: be ready, because no one knows the hour when the Lord will come.

Preparation cannot be borrowed. Faith cannot be delayed. And some opportunities, once missed, cannot be reopened.

The door that closed that night reminds the world of an eternal truth:
Those who are ready will enter the joy of the Kingdom, but those who wait too long may find the door already shut.
