Romans 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love Elohim, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

Romans 8:35-39 Who shall separate us from the love of Messiah? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of Elohim, which is in YHWH our Messiah.

Revelation 1:18 I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.

2 Corinthians 10:3-6 For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh: (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through Elohim to the pulling down of strong holds;) Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of Elohim, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Messiah; And having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled.

Matthew 16:18 And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my assembly; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.

In our text, when Messiah speaks of the gates of hell, He is referring to the councils of Hell. Hell has come to symbolize the devil and the powers of darkness. When Messiah referred to the gates or ‘councils’ of Hell, He was speaking of the plans and strategies of the powers of darkness. As long as these powers remain undisturbed and unchallenged in the ‘gateways’ of the world, they continue to pose a threat, a hindrance, and a bondage to the people of YHWH and their ministries.

The assembly has fallen prey to the gates of hell. We have been sucked in by the arguments, enticements, and intimidations of the enemy. Satan’s bluster has gained access and dominance for him in far too many circles. Today, in an age where the assembly age has garnered its greatest numerical strength, we are surprisingly lacking in our power to dismantle the enemy.

Satan’s menacing hand and demonic ploys have infiltrated our society like an invasive fog—defiling, corrupting, and manipulating far too many of our lives and affairs. In the ongoing war Satan is waging against both the corporate and the individual mind of the assembly, he has led us away from the strategies of warfare that Messiah charted for us before He ascended to heaven.

Did He not say that the weapons of our warfare are mighty, to the pulling down of strongholds? Yet we allow ourselves to be pulled down instead.

With the power of the Holy Spirit in us, we should be able to win any battle for the hearts and souls of men, against the powers of darkness. But where are our mission victories? They are small and far spread.

Maybe it’s because we’ve gone about this whole idea of missions in the wrong way! We’ve adopted the worldly art of persuasion as our means of ineffective evangelism but salvation comes only when the human heart is liberated by righteous power. Our persuasion and arguments bear very little lasting fruit in this worldwide harvest of souls unless we are taped into YHWH’s power source.

When Paul spoke to the Corinthians, he said, “My speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man’s wisdom, but in demonstration of the spirit and of power: That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of YHWH” (1 Corinthians 2:4-5). Paul knew the source of his power!

Here was Paul, writing to the assembly at Corinth immediately following his debate with the philosophers on Mars Hill. Paul was so intellectually equipped that he could philosophize with the greatest of scholars, but he found these arguments to be fruitless and useless during his visit to Mars Hill. It was then that he was “determined to know only YHWH Messiah, and Him crucified” as the only mighty demonstration of the power of YHWH.

There is a secret that has been stolen from us.

It is the secret of how desperately poor we are without the mighty power of YHWH.
To understand that power, we must be stripped of all self-righteousness and self-sufficiency.

To understand that power, we must be humbled and broken.

It is only when we reach that point that we are able to rise up as the mighty army of YHWH and victoriously storm the gates of hell.

The world is littered with failed mission efforts to evangelize the lost. We have plotted and planned and spent our charitable dollars in an effort to carry the banner of YHWH Messiah into every corner of the globe. Yet there remains thousands of religions in the world; and of the eight major religions – Judaism, Hinduism, Buddhism, Confucianism, Taoism, Shinto, Christianity, and Islam – we must face the difficult truth that Islam is the fastest growing. We need missionaries now like never before!

But is throwing more money into our present organized mission effort the whole answer? Maybe we first need to reexamine the source of our power. The assembly as an organization cannot conquer the world for Messiah; but the assembly as an organism CAN! Those who enter the mission field must be propelled by YHWH’s power, and His alone. May YHWH help us if we continue to try it without His power, and YHWH help us if we fail to stand in His power alone.

Only YHWH’s power can deepen our dedication as we storm the gates of hell.
Only YHWH’s power can increase our faithfulness as we spread His word abroad.
Only YHWH’s power can bear our burdens as we’re persecuted for Messiah’s sake.
Only YHWH’s power can renew our determination as we carry the banner of YHWH’s grace and mercy.
Only YHWH’s power can help us shoulder our responsibilities to witness to every nation…in every tongue…until every soul is reached with the message of Salvation.

Storming the gates of hell is not for wimps.
That’s why YHWH gave us access to His power source.
The Holy Spirit must be the heavenly air for our spiritual lungs.
The Holy Spirit must be the assurance for our spiritual anxieties.
The Holy Spirit must be the strength for our spiritual weakness.
The Holy Spirit must be the wine for our spiritual thirst.
The Holy Spirit must be the Joy for our spiritual journey.
The Holy Spirit must be the thrust for our spiritual feebleness.
He must be the anointing for our spiritual accomplishments,
The comfort for our spiritual crisis,
The glory for our gloom,
The very breath for our life!

It is not for us to battle Satan alone, but “The spirit itself beareth witness WITH our spirit, that we are the children of YHWH…” (Romans 8:16) Zechariah carried the message that it is, “…not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith YHWH of host.”

If we’re going to go against Satan and his hosts, we’d better take YHWH of Hosts with us!
The Holy Spirit will assure us of our salvation as we storm the gates of hell.
He will relieve us of our own suffering as we call others to Messiah.
He will refresh our spirits as we offer the fountain of refreshing to the world.
He will replenish our strength as we conquer Satan’s army.

Let’s put on the whole armor of YHWH and storm the gates of hell.
Let’s let the world know that YHWH is a righteous remedy for the ruined.
Let them know that YHWH is justification for the judged.
Let them know that YHWH is redemption for the rebellious.
Let them know that He is the solution for their shame,
The triumph for their trouble,
and the blessed bliss for their burdens.

THREE PARTNERS IN CRIME IN FULFILLING END-TIME EVENTS.

The Dragon, the Beast, and the False Prophet
The Bible speaks of a dragon, a beast, and a false prophet. How can we identify who is represented by this symbolism?

“I saw three unclean spirits like frogs coming out of the mouth of the DRAGON, out of the mouth of the BEAST, and out of the mouth of the FALSE PROPHET. For they are spirits of demons, performing signs, which go out to the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty” (Revelation 16:13, 14).
The dragon of Revelation 12:3, 4 and the false prophet of Revelation 13:11–14 and 19:20 form an alliance with the beast of Revelation 13:1–8, or the papacy.

A. THE DRAGON
The DRAGON of Revelation 12 represents SATAN working through pagan Rome. In these last days the unholy partnership includes non-Christian religions such as ISLAM, BUDDHISM, SHINTOISM, HINDUISM, the NEW AGE, SECULAR HUMANISM, etc.

B. THE FALSE PROPHET
The FALSE PROPHET represents APOSTATE AMERICANIZED PROTESTANTISM centered in the United States, which will take the lead in urging worldwide worship of the beast (Rev 13:16).

C. THE BEAST
The beast is the PAPACY (Rev 13:1–10), the Roman Catholic system.

D. THE THREE POWERS
These three powers—non-Christian religions and governments, apostate Protestantism, and Roman Catholicism—will become allies in Armageddon, the final war against God, His law, and His loyal followers. This coalition is called “Babylon the Great” by Jesus in Revelation 18:2.
How will organizations with such diverse backgrounds effectively unite?
“These are of one mind, and they will give their power and authority to the beast” (Revelation 17:13).
Answer: Revelation 16:13, 14 says “unclean spirits like frogs,” which are “spirits of demons,” will unite them through the miracles they will work. Spiritism—the belief that the dead are alive and can contact the living—will be the tenet that welds all together.
Satan and his angels—posing as the spirits of dead loved ones, prophets of old, angels of heaven (2 Corinthians 11:13, 14), and even Christ Himself (Matthew 24:24)—will convince the world that their cause is guided from heaven.
Incidentally, all three entities believe that the dead are alive:
A. CATHOLICISM prays to Mary and other dead saints and believes these saints bless their followers with miracles.
B. NON-CHRISTIAN RELIGIONS are overwhelmingly based on belief in and worship of spirits of the dead. The New Age stresses “channeling”—supposed talking to the spirits of the dead.
C. APOSTATE PROTESTANTISM believes that the dead are not dead but, rather, alive in heaven or hell. Thus they are susceptible to deception by demons who pose as spirits of the dead.
For what sins does God indict Babylon?
“Babylon the great is fallen” (Revelation 18:2). “... and has become a dwelling place of demons, a prison for every foul spirit. ... By your sorcery all the nations were deceived” (Revelation 18:2, 23). “The inhabitants of the earth were made drunk” from the wine of abomination and fornication found in her cup (Revelation 17:2, 4; 18:3). “The kings of the earth have committed fornication with her” (Revelation 18:3).
Answer: To fall means to turn away from Bible truth and the worship of the true God (2 Peter 3:17, 18). Thus, God is indicting Babylon for:
Conferring with devils by inviting evil spirits into its midst through spiritism.
Deceiving virtually the entire world through lying, demonic spirits.
Lies are a type of abomination in the Bible (Proverbs 12:22). Babylon’s wine, which contains false teachings, disorients and benumbs those who drink it and makes them spiritually drunk.
In contrast, the church is the bride of Christ (Revelation 19:7, 8) and loves Him and is loyal to Him only—which Jesus said means keeping His commandments (John 14:15).
Therefore, the papacy is censured here for turning away from her husband, Jesus (James 4:4) and for forming illicit relationships with civil governments (union of church and state) for her support.
In addition, Babylon trafficks in the “souls of men” (Revelation 18:11–13); thus, God denounces Babylon for treating people as merchandise rather than as precious children of God.
What are some of the false teachings contained in Babylon’s wine that make people spiritually drunk and confused?
A. The law of God has been amended or repealed. God’s law can never be changed or repealed (Luke 16:17).
B. The soul is immortal. The Bible mentions "soul" and "spirit" nearly 1,000 times. Not once is either referred to as immortal. People are mortal (Job 4:17), and none receives immortality until Jesus’ second advent (1 Corinthians 15:51–54).
C. Sinners burn eternally in hell.
The Bible teaches that sinners will be consumed (put out of existence), both soul and body, in the fire (Matthew 10:28). An eternal hell of torment is not taught in the Bible.
D. Baptism by immersion is not necessary.
Baptism by immersion is the only baptism recognized by Scripture.
E. Sunday is God’s holy day.
The Bible teaches, without question, that God’s holy day is the seventh-day Sabbath—Saturday (Exodus 20:8–11).
Note: These false teachings, once believed, tend to bring “confusion” (which is what the term “Babylon” literally means) and make understanding Scripture much more difficult.

What does the symbolism of "FROGS" mean in Revelation 16:13, 14?

A frog captures its prey with its tongue, which could symbolize the counterfeit gift of tongues now sweeping the world.
Please remember that miracles, including the gift of tongues, prove only one thing—supernatural power. But the Bible informs us that supernatural power can be from either God or Satan.
It further explains that Satan, posing as an angel (2 Corinthians 11:14), will utilize supernatural miracles so effectively that almost the entire world will be deceived and follow him (Revelation 13:3).
At present, he is using the counterfeit gift of tongues to weld together churches and religions of all kinds—including pagans. Each of these feels that the gift of tongues is proof of authenticity.
WE MUST TEST THE SPIRITS
The Bible warns that we must test the spirits (1 John 4:1). If they do not agree with the Bible, they are counterfeits (Isaiah 8:19, 20).
Further, the true gifts of the Holy Spirit are never given to one who deliberately and knowingly disobeys God (Acts 5:32).
There is a true gift of tongues. It is a miraculous enabling to fluently speak foreign languages previously unlearned and unknown by the speaker (Acts 2:4–12). God uses this gift when needed to present His end-time message to those of other languages.
It was needed at Pentecost because 17 language groups were in the crowd and His disciples didn’t know all of those languages.

A Sobering Thought
It’s sobering to think that some might unknowingly be drinking Babylon’s wine.
Perhaps this is all new to you. If so, ask God to guide you (Matthew 7:7, 8). Then search the Scriptures (Acts 17:11).
Promise that you will follow where Jesus leads, and He will not permit you to end up in error (John 7:17).
Who will be on the Lord’s side in the battle of Armageddon?
Answer: In this final battle, the angels of heaven (Hebrews 1:13, 14; Matthew 13:41, 42) and God’s people—the remnant (Revelation 12:17)—will be allied with Jesus, who leads the armies of heaven (Revelation 19:11–16) against Satan and his supporters.
God’s remnant is composed of those who refuse the falsehoods of Babylon. They are known for:
Their love of Jesus (1 John 5:2, 3).
Their loyalty to and faith in Him (Revelation 14:12).
Their obedience to His Word and commandments (Revelation 12:17; John 8:31, 32).
How will people who love Jesus but who are now in Babylon respond when they hear His appeal to come out?
Answer: Jesus says:
“Other sheep I have which are not of this fold; them also I must bring, and they will hear My voice; and there will be one flock and one shepherd. ... My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me” (John 10:16, 27).
Jesus recognizes His children who are in Babylon. Further, He promises to call them out of Babylon before it is destroyed.
And, most glorious of all, Jesus promises that His people who are yet in Babylon will hear and recognize His voice and come out to safety.
If you are in Babylon, are you willing to heed Jesus’ urgent appeal to come out of her?
Jesus says Babylon is going to be destroyed, not reformed. She will become hopelessly drunk with her wine (identified as false doctrine in Revelation 18:2–6). It is for this reason that He calls His people out (Revelation 18:4).

Jilin province

This province is located in the north of China, it is one of the provinces of the once all-powerful Manchurian empire.

It has around 2 million Christians, mainly Korean, but many Han Chinese.



The largest city is Changchun with around 3 million people, but this city and others do not have a large number of believers.
  
The province is strategic for North Korea, in prayer and witness. Please pray that the church would be ready if this country falls.

Please pray that the gospel would go forth in power, their are many cults operating in this province.


  
Jiangxi province

A province of around 44 million , with a Christian population of 5%. 

The party still holds great sway in this province, as this is where the long march started, but there has been much growth in the church, but large areas and people groups, remain unreached.


Many believers are farmers and live in poverty and are untrained. They are liable to fall into false teaching, so there needs to be sound biblical teaching in this province.

There is great need in this province, please pray that the Lord, would send pastors and church workers to train up church members in sound theology and practice.

ACHANG

Praise God that there are some believers in virtually every Achang village in China, the Achang is Myanmar have turned to Christ in large numbers and many Achang in China, have been blessed by discipleship classes run by Believers across the border.

The church is now planted and now it needs to mature, it needs to train it's own leaders, as many of the younger generation only believe in atheism. 

Please Pray that there will be continuous revival to stir the Achang and that the Achang bible, which was completed for the Achang in Myanmar, would be distributed to the Chinese Achang.

2 % of the Husa people are saved, please pray that they would grow into an active and vibrant church.

They are offered training by the neighbouring Kachin people, pray that they would be able to understand it.

Most of them are stepped in Buddhism and Daoism, but now the younger generation are atheist. Pray for the breaking of these bondages.

Last night, my friend Saul suggested we get an iced coffee at a local Vietnamese restaurant. While the coffees were being prepared, I felt led to witness to the young woman working behind the counter. Nhi (pronounced “knee”) first thanked me for the tract I gave her and eventually said she was a Buddhist. I replied, “Jesus died for Buddhists.” Nhi revealed her parents were originally Buddhist, and became Catholics. Nhi herself had embraced Catholicism but “lost her faith” and reverted back to Buddhism. After explaining that Christianity is a relationship, I asked, “What has Buddha done for you?” Nhi didn’t know how to respond. Both my friend and I perceived she suffered a personal setback. I told Nhi that other people have asked how can there be a God when terrible things happen. I explained that the devil comes to steal, kill, and destroy. Jesus came to give us abundant life (John 10:10). Saul shared that he lost his wife to cancer and a son to diabetes, but the Lord has remained faithful to him. Although we were frequently interrupted by takeout customers and those dining inside, Nhi was gracious toward us. Before we left with our coffees, she accepted a gospel of John, which happened to have a cup of coffee on the cover. God’s word does not return to Him void (Isaiah 55:11).

Christianity in China Today
House Churches and the Three-Self Church
Ryan: There is one fairly clear divide among Chinese churches: a divide between the Three-Self churches and house churches.

Now, the Three-Self Church is short for the Three-Self Patriotic Movement. “Three-Self” stands for self-governance, self-support, and self-propagation. Those all may sound like great things, right? But the Three-Self Movement is actually a campaign established by the Chinese government in the 1950s to sever ties between the Chinese churches and the global church.

To this day, the Three-Self Church is still under the regulation and governance of the Chinese government. They register with the Chinese government, the pastors are trained and approved by the Communist Party, and their teachings are limited and even directed by what the government allows them to teach.

So house churches are basically the opposite of that. What makes a house church different from a Three-Self church is not that they only meet in small groups in private homes, even though they started off like that. The biggest distinction between house churches and the Three-Self Church is that they are not registered with the government, and they refuse to come under the governance of the state.

Many of them did start meeting in homes, especially in rural areas. But these days, house churches also meet in office buildings, hotel conference rooms, parks, online, and in many other creative ways, depending on the security situation in various parts of the country. Some are larger and more public; some have to be divided into smaller congregations and groups and maintain a lower profile. But they have all kept the title “house church” because it connects them to the traditions they come from. So that is one major distinction between house churches and the official churches in China.

Beth, can you tell us more about their theological differences?

Theological Differences
Beth: Yeah. Initially, the theological divide between the Three-Self government churches and the house churches tracked along the liberal-versus-fundamentalist divide in the West that was gaining momentum in the early 1900s.

Now, the Three-Self Patriotic Movement, when it started in the 1950s, was founded and led by more liberal theologians who were influenced by more theologically liberal missionaries from the West. So liberal theology was one reason these folks were more open to collaborating with the Chinese government back in the 1950s.

On the other hand, the house church fathers came from a more fundamentalist, pietistic tradition. They believed the Bible was the inerrant word of God, that Jesus physically lived, died, and was raised from the dead, and that one day Christ will return to judge the whole world.

Way back in the 1950s, these house church fathers believed that registering with the government and the Three-Self Movement would be a slippery slope toward liberal theology, and that in doing so they would be selling out to a communist government which, as we all know, is actually atheistic.

So even today, this theological divide between the house church and the Three-Self church still stands, and because of this, house churches still refuse to register with the government. In addition to these theological issues and differences, there are some other major reasons house churches still refuse to register with the government.

Why House Churches Won’t Register
Ryan: …If you are familiar with Chinese kung fu movies, you will probably think of people like Jackie Chan and Bruce Lee. You may have heard of a place called the Shaolin Temple in northern China, which is commonly referred to as the place of origin for kung fu. The other Hollywood star from China, Jet Li, had his breakout role in the 1980s as a fighting monk at the Shaolin Temple.

The Shaolin Temple is a historic Buddhist temple dating all the way back to 495 AD. It has survived many Chinese dynasties and is still a very popular tourist attraction. When I visited in 2011, they put on a very elaborate kung fu performance for tourists. But in the last decade, a new thing started to take place regularly in the temple: the monks in the temple started raising the Chinese flag and singing the national anthem regularly.

Now, what does an ancient Buddhist temple have to do with the Chinese national flag and national anthem? Well, that is the heart of the matter. China’s religious regulations go beyond Christian churches. They want to control all religious faiths. In part, the state is atheistic, but at the center of the problem is something else. It is not so much what you believe, but who is your lord?

You can believe in all kinds of things, whether it is Buddhism, Taoism, folk religion, ancestor worship, Christianity, or even Islam, as long as you acknowledge that the Chinese government is your highest lord and has your highest allegiance, and that it has the authority to regulate what you believe, then the government gives you a certain amount of autonomy to practice religion. That is why you see ancient Buddhist temples like the Shaolin Temple holding flags in ceremonies, because that’s the signal to the state that we acknowledge you as our lord.

And that is precisely what the house church pastors refuse to acknowledge. They are happy to respect and obey the government, as taught in the New Testament. But they can only give their allegiance to one Lord. They can only acknowledge one king, and that is Jesus Christ, the Son of God. That is why they continue to face pressure and persecution from the Chinese government today.

A WARNING AGAINST A MODERN DECEPTION.

The Chilling History How Scientology Repackaged The Lies Of Lucifer.

The religion of Scientology did not arise from ancient prophecy or divine revelation, but from the imagination of a struggling science fiction writer. In the late 1940s, L. Ron Hubbard, who had been writing pulp stories for a living, developed a mental therapy system he called Dianetics. After being rejected by the medical community for a lack of scientific evidence, Hubbard repackaged his ideas as a new religion in the early 1950s, formally incorporating the Church of Scientology in 1954. What Hubbard did not tell his followers was that his secret “scriptures” were drawn directly from science fiction themes, including a so‑called “space opera” involving an evil galactic ruler named Xenu. By dressing up his fantasies as a path to enlightenment, Hubbard built a multi‑billion dollar empire on a foundation of pure fiction, not truth. The Bible warns that in the last days, many will turn aside to myths and fables and Hubbard’s creation fits that warning perfectly.

The core lie of Scientology is not new at all. It is the same poison that Lucifer whispered in heaven when he declared, “I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the Most High” (Isaiah 14:14). It is the same deception the serpent used in Eden when he told Eve, “You will be like God” (Genesis 3:5). Scientology teaches that every human is an immortal spiritual being called a “thetan,” that we are essentially good, and that through auditing and self‑effort we can recover our true godlike nature. This is the lie of self‑deification, the original sin of Lucifer, repackaged for modern minds. The Bible, however, declares that we are creatures made by God, not gods ourselves. We have fallen into sin and cannot save ourselves by any technique or payment. From Eden to the end times, Satan’s master deception has been to convince humans that they can become their own saviors and Scientology is a perfect mirror of that ancient rebellion.

This same falsehood appears in nearly every pagan and man‑made religion across history. Hinduism teaches that the soul (Atman) is ultimately identical with the divine (Brahman) and that through reincarnation and personal effort one can escape the cycle of birth and death. Buddhism says enlightenment comes from following the Eightfold Path by one’s own striving, with no need for a Creator or Savior. Catholicism, in its departure from biblical simplicity, has added purgatory, penance and a system of sacraments that imply humans can work off their own sin, directly contradicting the finished work of Christ. Freemasonry promises “light” and spiritual advancement through secret rituals and degrees, exactly as Scientology sells its costly “Bridge to Total Freedom.” Mormonism teaches that faithful men can become gods of their own planets, a doctrine that springs from the same Luciferian lie that “ye shall be as gods.” What do all these systems share? They are all variations of the original Edenic deception: salvation by human effort, secret knowledge, immortal soul, and self‑improvement, rather than by grace through faith in the One true God.

The documented dangers of Scientology are so severe that governments and courts around the world have repeatedly intervened. Former members have testified to physical beatings, forced abortions, false imprisonment and a systematic policy called “Fair Game” that permits followers to trick, sue, lie to, or even destroy anyone labeled an enemy of the church. Lawsuits have revealed that Scientology’s policies enabled child sexual abuse, and that the church retaliated against victims by cutting their car brakes and subjecting them to relentless harassment. In 1979, nine high‑ranking Scientologists were convicted for a massive criminal conspiracy to infiltrate, bug, and steal documents from the US government, including the IRS and the Justice Department. More recently, the church was implicated in covering up the rape convictions of actor Danny Masterson, using its resources to intimidate victims and obstruct justice. The Bible warns that a tree is known by its fruit, and the fruit of Scientology is abuse, fraud, and lawlessness, not the fruit of the Holy Spirit.

Rather than leading people to the compassionate God of the Bible, Scientology uses fear, financial exploitation and the threat of disconnection from family to control its members. Those who leave are often cut off from their own children and parents, a practice that directly contradicts Jesus’ command to honor father and mother. The Bible calls us to test the spirits and when we test Scientology against the Word of God, there is no common ground. Scientology denies that Jesus Christ is the unique Son of God, rejects His atoning sacrifice and promotes a path of self‑salvation that Scripture declares impossible. The Apostle John wrote, “Whoever denies the Son does not have the Father” (1 John 2:23). No amount of auditing, no secret Xenu revelation and no amount of money can change that eternal fact.

For anyone caught in the grip of this deceptive system, the way out is the same as it has always been: the pure, simple Gospel of Jesus Christ. Believe on the Lord Jesus, confess with your mouth that He is Lord and trust in His finished work on the cross. The Bible promises that whoever calls on the name of the Lord will be saved, not by paying for secret knowledge, but by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone. Do not be deceived by the seductive language of self‑improvement and spiritual freedom that Scientology offers. It is a house built on sand and when the storms of God’s judgment come, it will utterly collapse. Turn instead to the solid rock of Scripture, where true freedom and eternal life are found freely in Jesus. Leave the cult behind and embrace the risen Savior who truly can make all things new.

THE SERPENT ’s WHISPER: ONE LIE THAT BINDS ALL FALSE RELIGIONS
Exposing The Pagan Root Of Immortal Soul Beliefs

From the garden of Eden, a single deceptive whisper has echoed through the ages. “You will not surely die,” the serpent promised, and with those words, Lucifer planted the seed of all spiritual error. This ancient lie, that the human soul lives on beyond death, forms the hidden foundation of nearly every false religion today. Though their outward forms differ, a careful biblical examination reveals that Catholicism, Hinduism, Buddhism, New Age, Islam, Jehovah’s Witnesses, Mormonism, and Pentecostalism all share this pagan Luciferian belief to varying degrees. They have each embraced the notion that something within us is naturally immortal, a teaching that contradicts the plain testimony of Scripture and honors the father of lies rather than the God of truth.

The idea that death does not truly end our conscious existence is nowhere taught in the Holy Scriptures, which consistently declare that the dead “know not any thing” and that their thoughts perish. Yet most religions preach that at death, the soul flies off to paradise, purgatory, reincarnation, or punishment. Catholicism prays for the departed in purgatory. Hinduism and Buddhism teach an endless cycle of rebirth, carrying the soul’s karma. New Age spiritism openly channels the dead through mediums. Islam promises that martyrs live immediately in paradise. Mormonism speaks of a spirit world where the dead preach to other spirits. Even many Pentecostal groups teach that believers go instantly to heaven or hell. What all these share is the serpent’s lie, denying the finality of death and opening the door to demonic deception.

This pagan belief leads directly to practices that the Bible condemns as necromancy. When people think their loved ones are alive in heaven or as ancestor spirits, they are tempted to communicate with them. Catholicism’s veneration of saints and prayers for the dead, the New Age’s channeling of ascended masters, Buddhism’s offerings to hungry ghosts, and even some Pentecostal experiences of visiting heaven or seeing visions of the departed, all flow from the same poisoned well. Lucifer, the fallen morning star, masquerades as an angel of light, using these counterfeit after-death experiences to turn hearts away from the pure truth of the resurrection. Only the Bible teaches that the dead sleep in the dust until the last trumpet calls them forth.

Even religions that reject certain aspects of the immortal soul trap, such as Jehovah’s Witnesses, still hold to a form of continued existence for a select group, believing that 144,000 are immediately resurrected as spirits. And Islam, though it preaches resurrection, also teaches that the soul of the martyr goes straight to paradise. The common thread is a distrust of God’s plain word: “Dust you are, and to dust you shall return.” Satan’s first lie was about death, because if death is not a sleep but a doorway, then the Creator’s warning about sin’s wage loses its terror. All false religions, in their own way, diminish the horror of sin and the necessity of a literal resurrection through Christ alone. They offer shortcuts to everlasting life that bypass the cross and the empty tomb.

Beloved reader, return to the ancient path. Do not be deceived by the pagan fables that have crept into every corner of religion. The only true hope is not in an immortal soul that survives death, but in the blessed promise of resurrection when Jesus returns. Until that day, the dead rest in the dust. Satan’s whisper continues to echo, but the voice of Scripture thunders louder: “The soul that sinneth, it shall die.” Reject the Luciferian lie, and embrace the biblical truth that your life, your death, and your hope belong wholly to the God who alone has immortality. Let the resurrection morning be your anchor, not the spiritist’s fantasy.

In sharp contrast to all these false systems, the Scriptures consistently reveal that the soul is not an immortal spirit that leaves the body at death but rather a living being that depends wholly on God for existence. As Genesis records, “the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul” not a disembodied entity, but a unified creature of dust and divine breath.

Ezekiel declares plainly, “The soul that sinneth, it shall die,” proving that souls are subject to death, not eternal torment. The wise king wrote, “The living know that they shall die; but the dead know not any thing,” and again, “there is no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in the grave, whither thou goest.” The resurrection hope, not natural immortality, is the golden thread of redemption: our only future beyond the grave is the call of Christ’s voice when He returns, raising the righteous dead to immortal life.

To believe the soul lives on consciously apart from the body is to embrace the very lie first spoken in Eden, “Thou shalt not surely die,” a deception that has woven itself into every false religion from ancient Babylon to modern Christendom.

Please pray that the Chinese church, would be filled with purity, power and boldness as it meets today. Please pray for the pastors as they preach, for boldness and empowerment. Please pray for the protection of all services.


Monday

Please pray as the church is 80-90% women. Men need to be challenged and activated into leadership. Please pray that each church would have a group of godly men, who fear nothing but God, and who are prepared to sacrifice themselves for the gospel.


Tuesday

Please pray for the next generation, most of the church is made up of middle-aged people. Please pray that there would be an influx of young people and children into the church. The next generation is only interested in the latest fashion and cell phone. Please pray for the children of China, who are under severe pressure to achieve a good score at school.


Wednesday

Persecution is real, but we can and do share the gospel. Please pray that God would open up opportunities to share the gospel. People are in great need. Many people have mental problems, the society seems stable, but people are hurting very deeply. Please pray that the church, would be salt and light.


Thursday

140 million are unreached. The size of the task is huge, to walk down a street is to be overwhelmed by this mass of humanity. Please pray that every person in China, would hear the gospel.

Many millions are trapped in Buddhism (500 Million), Communist Ideology (130 Million) and Atheism (500 Million). These ideologies are deep strongholds for the Chinese people and can only be dismantled by fervent and persevering prayer. Especially pray for the leader of China and the members of the CCP.


Saturday

Please pray for Revival of the church in China, it is only the power of the gospel, that can release China from the power of darkness. Consistent and fervent prayer is needed, please pray that the Chinese church would be filled with power and boldness and would by the preaching of the gospel, CHANGE MANY MILLIONS OF HEARTS IN CHINA.

We hear every day about China, we hear about church growth in China, and we want to pray effectively and help the Chinese church.



How can this be done, in this article, with the help of my dear Chinese brother David, who has lived in China and the USA, both of us have a unique vantage point.



First of all you must have a deep concern for China:




God alone can place that burden on your heart, ask him to put that burden on your heart.



Secondly, you must be PROPERLY informed. Knowledge of the harvest field is wonderful and up to date information is better, we need information that is effective and from the voice of the Chinese people themselves.

Before you start to pray effectively, you must understand these three things:


YOU MUST UNDERSTAND THAT CHINESE CULTURE IS DIFFERENT



The gospel is the power of God to all who believe to all the nations.. amen.



But in a different cultural setting, it must be refined, note I said refined, not changed.



The Chinese culture is one based on benevolence, they believe that they are basically good. So confronting them with sin and stating that they are a sinner, is a difficult concept, for a Chinese person to understand.




Christ addressed several seemingly good people in the gospels, such as Nicodemus and Zaccheus. Paul spoke to Lydia and to Cornelius, who were good religious people.




Chinese people from an early age have been told that there is no God and that there is no morality.



Atheism is a thin veneer for all kinds of sin as Paul stated in Romans 1, we have witnessed to many Chinese and had to explain the existence of God.



Pray that God would move mightily in the hearts of the Chinese people, many who are saved come out of a life of atheism and Buddhism and they need a complete washing and renewing of their minds, as there are many alien concepts to them.


PRAY THAT THE CULTURE WILL BE CHALLENGED

4 For the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh but have divine power to destroy strongholds. 5 We destroy arguments and every lofty opinion raised against the knowledge of God, and take every thought captive to obey Christ, 6 being ready to punish every disobedience, when your obedience is complete.


Christianity in China, is still seen to some extent as a foreign religion, so the best things western Christians to do is to pray.


As mentioned earlier Chinese culture is based on Confucius teaching and atheism, it has to be challenged by the gospel.


Women in the home are seen as dominant and this along with other unbiblical ideas, must be challenged.


The word of God is God's agent of challenge, but many of the things that it says and makes clear are alien to the Chinese and go against Chinese culture.


So there is a great need for a move of the Holy Spirit, in the hearts of the Chinese people. Many people including my Chinese wife come from a Buddhist background, so their minds must be washed by the word.



This may take years, that's why we need prayer warriors to pray, leading a Chinese person to Christ, is the easy part, now begins the difficult part, as the discipleship process starts.




Please pray that the Church, would be able to disciple in a biblical way and that God's people would grow in grace and love for his Word.





PRAY THAT THE CULTURE WOULD BE CHANGED



China is seeking to erase corruption from the country, this is virtually impossible, but there is a way that it could be, by changing people's hearts with the gospel.




The first six chapters of Daniel, show how a society, can be challenged by four men, who stand truly for God.




We are not here to change the government, only God can do that, that is something which is in God's hand Psalm 2.





How can we do this:


TRUE CONVERSION




Pray that people would come to be born again, like Paul, Nicodemus, Lydia etc.



Sad to say, many millions, have said the sinners prayers are still living in sin, because of false teaching such as The Shack and Purpose Driven Life. Pray that the true gospel, would be preached.




TRUE CLEANSING



There has to be deep repentance Psalms 32/51, many people come to Christ, carrying so much baggage from their past, such as the burning of paper money to ancestors and other occult practices.


Again these things have to be addressed and defeated by prayer.


TRUE COMMITMENT



In the parable of the Sower, only one seed bore fruit, pray that the seed of the gospel brings forth fruit and that this fruit grows. To do this, it must be watered by fervent intercessory prayer.


TRUE CHANGE




What is our aim by praying for China, it is to see not just the culture challenged, but people to be converted and changed. Only then can the culture be changed.


People hearts need to be changed and the only agent of change is the gospel, I hope you will join us as we pray for China,

First of all, thanks for reading this. There are a lot of Christian information around, and your time reading this is appreciated. I will keep it short.



As to prayers for the church, please pray that the house church leaders can petition the government to make house churches legal in China. This is an overdue issue. Some new laws need to be passed. Some prisoners released.




You should visit China. The western media paints China in a negative way. Therefore, come visit. Go to places like Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou and Shenzhen and taste Chinese food. Unlike people in the west, Chinese people are generally more friendly towards foreigners. But please do not come in a condescending manner. Respect local customs.
