“You Don’t Need Their Permission to Heal”
The man in the video said words filled with wisdom:
“Closure is not always a conversation, sometimes closure is realizing they have already told you everything through their actions. Stop waiting for that final talk, that perfect ending, that apologize. You don't need their permission to heal, peace start the moment you decide to stop needing answers from someone who has already showed you the truth.”
These words remind us that closure is not always given by others — sometimes, it is revealed by God. Some people may hear a message and move on, but others truly listen and allow the Spirit to speak through it.
God often uses moments of silence and disappointment to lead hearts toward freedom. His peace does not depend on explanations, but on trust.
Even Jesus did not wait for apologies from those who hurt Him. While on the Cross He said, “Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do.” (Luke 23:34) His closure came not from people, but from peace with God.
Healing begins when one stops seeking words from people who have already shown the truth and starts resting in the peace that only God provides.
“You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You.” — Isaiah 26:3
