• READ WITH ME – DAY 4

    Topic: Milk Is for Babies

    Key Verse:
"Anyone who lives on milk is still a baby. That person does not want to learn about living a godly life."
    — Hebrews 5:13 (NIrV)

    Today's Reflection

Just as a growing child cannot survive on milk forever, God does not expect us to remain spiritual babies. As we grow in Christ, we should hunger for a deeper understanding of God's Word and allow it to transform the way we think, speak, and live.

Spiritual maturity is not measured by how many years we have been Christians, but by how faithfully we obey God's Word. If God has been correcting the same habits in your life, today is an opportunity to respond with humility and grow.

God calls us to move beyond the basics and become mature believers who reflect His character every day.

    Today's Takeaway:
God does not expect you to remain a spiritual baby; He calls you to grow every day.

    Prayer:
Lord, help me to grow beyond spiritual infancy. Give me a hunger for Your Word and the courage to obey it. Transform my heart each day until I become more like Christ. Amen.

  • #Day4 Living Under the Government of the Holy Spirit

    PHILIP: AVAILABLE TO BE LED

    Acts 8:29
"The Spirit said to Philip, 'Go over and approach that chariot.'"

In the midst of a revival in Samaria, God led Philip to one man: the Ethiopian eunuch. There was no crowd, no followers giving likes. Just one person who needed light to understand God's word.

The Holy Spirit sometimes leads to a crowd, sometimes to a single soul. God's great works often begin with simple obedience, in the quiet places where no one sees.

Are you attentive to the quiet directions the Holy Spirit gives you? Do I obey God when the Spirit leads us to simple, quiet missions that attract no attention?

Living under the guidance of the Holy Spirit means making ourselves available to be led by Him everywhere and in every circumstance. May the Lord make us sensitive to His voice and quick to obey Him.

  • #Day4 Kingdom Series

THE PARABLE OF THE MUSTARD SEED
What God Can Do with a Tiny Beginning (Matthew 13:31-32)

“It is the smallest of all seeds, but when it has grown, it is larger than the garden plants and becomes a tree, so that the birds of the air come and perch in its branches.”

    —Matthew 13:32

In first-century Jewish culture, the mustard seed was used to represent something tiny, almost insignificant. It is precisely in what seems negligible that the Kingdom begins. And what begins this way ends up providing shade and shelter to many more than just its sower.

It is difficult to accept small beginnings when we live in an age that values visibility and rapid growth. We want proof that it works. But God often begins with almost nothing.

The mustard seed grows faithfully, slowly, surely, with absolute confidence in what it contains.

"Do not despise small beginnings." (Zechariah 4:10)

In the same way, the Kingdom of God grows weakly, but it asserts itself, establishes itself, and expands, often without our realizing it. The one who builds it is faithful and will accomplish His work to the end.

Have you given up on something because it seemed too small to matter? What would God want to tell you this morning about the small beginnings you are undertaking right now? Resist discouragement today. Water what you have sown with prayer and faithfulness. God is in control.

Lord, give us the faith of the mustard seed, not the faith that moves mountains in an instant, but the faith that grows faithfully until it becomes what You have intended.
