    Promote Brotherhood

    A better world
is not built by one grand gesture.

    It is built
one act of love at a time.

    Every small kindness.
    Every moment of patience
when patience was hard to find.
    Every quiet effort
    to help someone
who had no way of repaying you.

    These things
    seem small.

    In the moment,
    they hardly feel
    like they are changing anything.

    But they are.

    Every gesture of love
    strengthens the ties
    that hold people together.

    And communities —

    real communities,
    the kind where people
actually show up for each other —

    are built exactly this way.

    Not through policy.

    Not through perfect systems.

    Through people
    choosing, again and again,
    to care for one another
    rather than live only
    for themselves.

    Chiara Lubich wrote it
    this way:

    "By living the Gospel,
    we become 'another Christ' —

    and like Him,
    we will devote our lives
    to other people.

    By living love,
    we will make our contribution
    to the increase of fraternity
    in the world.

All the Words of the Gospel
can in fact be summed up
    in love of God
    and love of neighbour —

and so if we live any Word,
    it leads us to love."

This is the whole of Christianity,
    condensed into one sentence.

    Every commandment.
    Every teaching.
    Every parable Jesus told.

    It all leads
    to the same place.

    Love of God.
    Love of neighbour.

    And brotherhood — fraternity —
    is simply what happens
    when enough people
    choose this love
    in the same place,
    at the same time.

    It does not require
    everyone to agree.

    It does not require
    everyone to be the same.

    It simply requires
    people willing to show up,
    work alongside one another,
    and care enough
    to keep showing up
    even when it costs something.

    Little acts of love
    may seem small.

    But together —

    they become a chorus
    that changes the atmosphere
    around us.

    Today,
    you have an opportunity
    to add one note
    to that chorus.

    "Above all,
    keep loving one another earnestly,
    since love covers
    a multitude of sins."
    — 1 Peter 4:8

    "By this everyone will know
    that you are my disciples,
if you have love for one another."
    — John 13:35

"Let us not love in word or talk
but in deed and in truth."
    — 1 John 3:18

    Prayer

    Heavenly Father,
    teach us to love generously
    and sincerely.

    Help us bring unity, kindness,
    and care
into the lives of those around us —

    so that fraternity may continue
    to grow in our communities.

    Use even our smallest acts
    to build something larger
    than ourselves.

    Amen.

    Live the Word

    Today —
do one small act of kindness
for someone who cannot repay you.

    It might feel small.

    It is not.

  • REPUBLIC DAY: REFLECTIONS, PRAYER, BLESSING & WISHES

    Hello, how are you doing??l

Today is India's Republic Day. This day commemorate the adoption of the Constitution of India and the country's transition to a sovereign power from eminenct domain. It came into effect on 26 January 1950. When India became independent on 15 August 1947 there was no constitution. Its laws were based on the Government of India Act 1935 and governed by the Constituent Assembly of India. This was shifted with the adoption of the constitution on 26 November 1949 under the Chairpersonship of Dr BR Ambedkar. However, 26 January 1950 was announced to be the formal date of it's adoption

A nation becomes a true republic when it carries the pains of the last, least and lost. Constitution, laws, rules, acts, etc are meant to look at this particular aspects. Human beings have the limits of being carried away by worldliness in their systems and customs. Therefore one needs to adhere to higher authority or power to become a true republic.

That is the reason why all nations were made by God through man and woman, that they should inhabit the whole earth. History is marked out with appropriate and appointed times of persons and the boundaries of their lands. Yet there are disparities, fights, conflicts, wars and disputes, which needs permanent solution. These are common and natural but it's necessary to find immediate resolution or long time solutions.

As said by prophet Isaiah: *“He will judge between the nations and will settle disputes for many peoples. They will beat their swords into plowshares and their spears into pruning hooks. Nation will not take up sword against nation, nor will they train for war anymore.”* (Isa 2:4). Similarly Micah 4:3 says: *He will judge between many peoples and will settle disputes for strong nations far and wide. They will beat their swords into plowshares and their spears into pruning hooks. Nation will not take up sword against nation, nor will they train for war anymore.*

Dr BR Ambedkar the founding father of India's Constitution once said: India is a Nation of Nations and each nation has its own marked division and identities. However converting these boundaries is what makes it a true nation. What is required is as Amos (5:24) called out to the Israelites saying *"But let justice roll on like a river, righteousness like a never-failing stream!"* This is the way to transform this nation of nations into a true republic. Else John the Baptist reminds us of the true picture. *John said to the crowds coming out to be baptized by him, “You brood of vipers! Who warned you to flee from the coming wrath? Produce fruit in keeping with repentance. And do not begin to say to yourselves, ‘We have Abraham as our father.’ For I tell you that out of these stones God can raise up children for Abraham.* (Luke 3:7-8).

Transforming nations in a nation is only possible through intense witnessing of the word and spirit to the multitudes of masses (nations). That is when I and you get transformed as Salt and Light of the world (Matt 5:13-16) Here there is no space for hatred and hostilities. It's the space for love, compassion, caring, sharing and cooperation. Through this justice, liberty, equality, fraternity is witnessed as a marker of righteousness. This is the true transformation sovereign republic in Yeshua Baliraja.

In fact I look forward to a world of this sort and am always committed to work for the same, which in my words I call it the Kingdom of Truth, Love Light and Life, where GOD is the lone sovereign authority. I appeal to all for an engaged and intense witnessing. Let's all produce fruits. I pray that the Sovereign Almighty God bless this nation to be a blessing for many others. Keep praying for the nation as God has asked the Israelites through prophet Jeremiah (29:4-7). May God strengthen us today to uphold and protect the *Socialist Secular Democratic and Republic* fabric of India despite all political and cultural upheavals and hostilities.

Have a wonderful Monday and week ahead!! My prayers, love, blessings and healing remains with you!!

  • FROM PASTOR DOUG BACHELOR.

Most missed these AMAZING STATEMENTS & HAPPENINGS!
I don't know if you were able to take in Pope Leo's XIV primary mission outlined in his inaugural mass yesterday. I've highlighted some pertinent sections below. Notice how he ends with an emphasis on "healing the wounds", and on saving the environment like Francis. He then appeals that the people of the world become one church family. That Catholics reach out with a missionary spirit to other Christians and other religious groups. He then references the encyclical of his hero Pope Leo XIII that contains a section on Sunday work and Sunday law. I've highlighted this below. Section 41 from his encyclical RERUM NOVARUM ("Of new things") This encyclical addresses the rights and duties of workers.
It's also worth mentioning that Vice President JD Vance and Marco Rubio flew back to Italy to sit on the front row for this inaugural mass yesterday where the Pope lays out his mission.
They then had a private audience with the Pope afterward delivering a letter from president Trump inviting the Pope to visit the White House, hoping to improve relations. Amazing!
    (Pope's Closing Text below).
“Brothers and sisters, I would like that our first great desire be for a united Church, a sign of unity and communion, which becomes a leaven for a reconciled world….

In this our time, we still see too much discord, TOO MANY WOUNDS caused by hatred, violence, prejudice, the fear of difference, and an economic paradigm that EXPLOITS THE EARTH’S RESOURCES and marginalizes the poorest. For our part, we want to be a small leaven of unity, communion, and fraternity within the world. We want to say to the world, with humility and joy: Look to Christ! Come closer to him! Welcome his word that enlightens and consoles! Listen to his offer of love and BECOME HIS ONE FAMILY: in the one Christ, we are one. This is the path to follow together, among ourselves but also with our sister Christian churches, with those who follow other religious paths, with those who are searching for God, with all women and men of goodwill, in order to build a new world where peace reigns!... (When they say, Peace, Peace.)

"Brothers and sisters, this is the hour for love! The heart of the Gospel is the love of God that makes us brothers and sisters. WITH MY PREDECESSOR LEO XIII, we can ask ourselves today: If this criterion “were to prevail in the world, would not every conflict cease and peace return?” (Rerum Novarum, 21)"….

RERUM NOVARUM - ENCYCLICAL OF POPE LEO XIII ON CAPITAL AND LABOR
    41. From this follows the obligation of the cessation from work and labor on Sundays and certain holy days. The rest from labor is not to be understood as mere giving way to idleness; much less must it be an occasion for spending money and for vicious indulgence, as many would have it to be; but it should be rest from labor, hallowed by religion. Rest (combined with religious observances) disposes man to forget for a while the business of his everyday life, to turn his thoughts to things heavenly, and to the worship which he so strictly owes to the eternal Godhead. It is this, above all, which is the reason arid motive of Sunday rest; a rest sanctioned by God's great law of the Ancient Covenant-"Remember thou keep holy the Sabbath day,"(31) and taught to the world by His own mysterious "rest" after the creation of man: "He rested on the seventh day from all His work which He had done."(32)

"Together, as one people, as brothers and sisters, let us walk toward God and love one another."
