GOD SEEKS FAITHFUL PEOPLE
Psalm 101:6
"My eyes will be on the faithful in the land, that they may dwell with me; the one whose walk is blameless will be my servant."
In this psalm, David sets forth the principles that will guide his reign. He affirms that he will surround himself with faithful and blameless people, thus reflecting the character of the Supreme King, God Himself.
God does not primarily seek talented, influential, or popular people. He seeks faithful men and women.
Faithfulness stabilizes and maintains communion with God. It prepares one to receive greater responsibilities because, in reality, integrity is the foundation of service that God approves of.
Choose to be faithful in small things as well as in great things. Let your words, decisions, and actions reflect a heart of integrity. Faithfulness attracts God's attention far more than outward achievements.
Lord, make me a faithful and upright person. May my life be worthy of your trust, and may I remain constantly close to you to serve you according to your will.
