DAY 3 – THE FIRM FOUNDATION
What Has God Been Building Over These Years?

#WorshipAndTheWord – Built on the Rock
    #BuildMyLife #Housefires

God has been building something in me for 55 years—and it will stand.

Jesus is not just my Saviour—He is my foundation. Through every season, every challenge, and every victory, He has been the Rock beneath my life, establishing something unshakable through His finished work on the cross.
This journey has not been random—it has been intentional. Every lesson, every step of faith, and every moment of obedience has been part of God building a life that can carry purpose into the next season.

    Designed With Purpose
God has been forming my life long before this moment
    Psalm 139:13–16 (BSB)
“For You formed my inmost being; You knit me together in my mother’s womb.
I praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Marvelous are Your works, and I know this very well.
My frame was not hidden from You when I was made in secret, when I was woven together in the depths of the earth.
Your eyes saw my unformed body; all my days were written in Your book and ordained for me before one of them came to be.”
Our lives are not accidental—God has been intentionally building and ordering every step from the very beginning, laying the foundation, and helping us build

    A Foundation That Stands
Storms reveal what God has built
    Matthew 7:24-25
“Therefore everyone who hears these words of Mine and acts on them is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. The rain fell, the torrents raged, and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because its foundation was on the rock.”
What God builds in obedience will stand through every storm

    God Is the True Builder
Every year has been in His hands
    Psalm 127:1
“Unless the LORD builds the house, its builders labor in vain; unless the LORD protects the city, its watchmen stand guard in vain.”
My life is not self-built—it is God-established

The Power of a Wise Builder
What is built now impacts what comes next
    Proverbs 14:1
“The wise woman builds her house, but with her own hands the foolish one tears hers down.”
Parents are placed by God to help us build lives with God's Wisdom to build a legacy that continues beyond today

    He Finishes What He Starts
God’s work in your life is still in progress
    Philippians 1:6
“being confident of this, that He who began a good work in you will continue to perfect it until the day of Christ Jesus.”
What God started in you, He will faithfully complete—your foundation is still being built for what’s ahead

    Beloved:
Look back and recognise what God has built in you. Reject every lie that says your journey has been wasted or your foundation is weak. God has been at work—strengthening, shaping, and preparing you.
This is not the end of a season—it is the strengthening of your foundation for what comes next. Stand firm, trust His work, and move forward with confidence.
God brings some people into your life for a season, to teach you lessons or help you grow. Others come for a reason, to fulfill a specific purpose, and some for a lifetime. Learn to appreciate each one for how they help to build your life.

    Prayer:
Father, in the name of Jesus, I thank You for every year You have been building my life. I am grateful for each person that you have brought into my life that has helped to build me into the man I am. I'm not yet who I am meant to be but you are shaping me and building me into that man of God I'm called to be.
So I reject every lie of intimidation, regret, failure, or wasted time. I receive Your truth—that You have been establishing something strong and lasting in me.
Holy Spirit, empower me to continue building on Christ, to walk in obedience, and to step confidently into what You have prepared next.
I'm confident that you will finish your good work in me, and I will bring joy to your heart My Father, and glory to your name.
I declare that my foundation is secure, and my future is established in You.
    In Jesus’ mighty name, Amen.

Theme: Filled with Joy and Peace
    Series: Laughter and Victory

    Scripture:
“May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him.” — Romans 15:13 (NIV)

    Devotional Message: Joy That Overflows
Hope is not just a wish — it’s a confident expectation that God will do what He has promised.
And from that place of hope flows joy and peace — not because everything is perfect,
but because your heart is resting in the One who never fails.

When life feels uncertain, God’s invitation is simple: trust Me.
Because when you trust Him, He fills your heart — not halfway, but completely —
with joy that cannot be shaken and peace that calms every storm.

Laughter begins to rise again when hope returns.
Peace becomes your song in the middle of the noise.
And the smile you wear is no longer forced — it’s born from faith.

Your victory is not in how hard you try,
but in how deeply you trust the God of hope.

So today, breathe… trust… and let joy fill the empty spaces again.
God is not just giving you peace — He is your peace.
He’s not just sending you joy — He is your joy.

    1. God Fills, I Receive
“Open your mouth wide, and I will fill it.” — Psalm 81:10
God doesn’t pour sparingly — He fills your heart to overflow.

    2. Peace Comes Through Trust
“You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in You.” — Isaiah 26:3
The more I trust, the more I rest.

    3. Joy Follows Hope
“We rejoice in hope of the glory of God.” — Romans 5:2
Hope fuels laughter, and laughter is victory’s sound.

    Say this:
“The God of hope fills me with joy and peace. I trust Him completely, and my heart overflows with victory and laughter!”

    Prayer:
Father, fill me today with Your joy and peace.
Teach my heart to trust You even when I don’t see the full picture.
Let my hope rise above every worry, and let my laughter return.
    In Jesus’ name, Amen.

    Action Step for Today:
Each time you feel anxious, pause and whisper:
“God of hope, fill me again.”
Then take a deep breath and smile — that’s how peace enters.

    Final Thought:
Hope keeps your spirit alive, peace steadies your heart, and joy becomes your testimony.
When you trust God, victory becomes your lifestyle.

    Theme: The Ministry of Joy
    Series: Laughter and Victory

    Scripture:
“A cheerful heart is good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones.” — Proverbs 17:22 (NIV)

Devotional Message: Laughter That Heals Others
Laughter is more than a personal joy — it’s a spiritual gift you can share. A cheerful heart can lift a weary soul faster than a thousand sermons. When your joy is rooted in God, your presence becomes medicine for others.

The world is full of people carrying silent battles — people who smile on the outside but are breaking within. Sometimes, your laughter is the light that reminds them life can still be beautiful. Joy that comes from God doesn’t just heal you; it overflows and heals those around you.

When your heart is cheerful in the Lord, you become a walking encouragement. Your smile becomes a seed of hope. Your calm spirit becomes a safe space for others. That’s what it means to have a ministry of joy — not always preaching with words, but living with a spirit so alive that it revives others.

Jesus brought joy wherever He went — He restored hope, lifted burdens, and turned mourning into dancing. As His follower, you carry that same power. Every time you laugh with faith, comfort the broken, or spread warmth through kindness, you’re preaching the gospel of joy.

So don’t underestimate your laughter. It’s not trivial — it’s transformational. God can use your cheerful heart to strengthen others, lighten heavy moments, and point people back to Him. Let your laughter be your ministry — a melody that turns tears into trust.

    1. Joy Is a Healing Force
“The joy of the Lord is your strength.” — Nehemiah 8:10
When you stay joyful in God, you carry strength that others can lean on.

    2. Laughter Can Lift Heavy Hearts
“A glad heart makes a cheerful face.” — Proverbs 15:13
Sometimes all someone needs is your smile to remember that life is still worth it.

    3. Encouragement Is Contagious
“Encourage one another and build each other up.” — 1 Thessalonians 5:11
The more you share joy, the more it multiplies. Be the reason someone feels lighter today.

    4. Your Presence Can Heal
“They looked to Him and were radiant.” — Psalm 34:5
When you reflect God’s light, others see hope in your joy.

    5. Laughter Is a Ministry of Faith
“We rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces perseverance.” — Romans 5:3
Your joy in hard times preaches louder than any sermon — it proves God is enough.

    6. Love Makes Joy Meaningful
“Let all that you do be done in love.” — 1 Corinthians 16:14
Joy without love is noise. But joy with love becomes healing to everyone it touches.

    7. God Uses Your Smile as a Testimony
“Let your light shine before others.” — Matthew 5:16
Your cheerful heart shows the world what grace looks like when it laughs.

    Say this:
“My joy is not for me alone — it is a gift to others. I will laugh in faith, smile in love, and let my joy speak life to every heart I meet. My laughter is holy, my smile is ministry, and my heart is a healing place.”

    Prayer:
Father, thank You for filling me with Your joy. Teach me to use it as a tool of encouragement. Let my words, my laughter, and my presence bring healing and hope to those around me. May I be a vessel of joy that points others back to You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

    Action Step for Today:
Find one person who seems discouraged and share a word, smile, or moment of laughter with them. Your kindness may be the reminder they’ve been praying for.

    Final Thought:
Joy becomes powerful when it’s shared. When your laughter flows from faith, it becomes a ministry — healing hearts, restoring hope, and spreading victory.

    Worship Focus of the Day:

    Listen on YouTube: https://youtu.be/3xfcXbtnVKs

This song reminds us that joy is not circumstantial — it’s a choice, a declaration, and a testimony of God’s goodness that lights up every room you enter.

Laughter Is a Ministry of Faith 📖 “We rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces perseverance.” — Romans 5:3 👉 Your joy in hard times preaches louder than any sermon — it proves God is enough. 🌿 6. Love Makes Joy Meaningful 📖 “Let all that you do be done in love.” — 1 Corinthians 16:14 👉 Joy without love is noise. But joy with love becomes healing to everyone it touches. 🌿 7. God Uses Your Smile as a Testimony 📖 “Let your light shine before others.” — Matthew 5:16 👉 Your cheerful heart shows the world what grace looks like when it laughs. 💬 Say this: “My joy is not for me alone — it is a gift to others. I will laugh in faith, smile in love, and let my joy speak life to every heart I meet. My laughter is holy, my smile is ministry, and my heart is a healing place.” 🛐 Prayer: Father, thank You for filling me with Your joy. Teach me to use it as a tool of encouragement. Let my words, my laughter, and my presence bring healing and hope to those around me. May I be a vessel of joy that points others back to You. In Jesus’ name, Amen. ✅ Action Step for Today: Find one person who seems discouraged and share a word, smile, or moment of laughter with them. Your kindness may be the reminder they’ve been praying for. 👣 Final Thought: Joy becomes powerful when it’s shared. When your laughter flows from faith, it becomes a ministry — healing hearts, restoring hope, and spreading victory. 🎶 Worship Focus of the Day: 🎧 “Joy” — Housefires ft. Theme: Laughter and Victory
    Series: Laughter and Victory

    Scripture:
“You will go out in joy and be led forth in peace; the mountains and hills will burst into song before you, and all the trees of the field will clap their hands.” — Isaiah 55:12 (NIV)

Devotional Message: Laughter and Victory — The Joy of Trusting God
When God fulfills His word, joy becomes uncontainable. The mountains sing, the trees clap, and your heart overflows with laughter. That’s the beauty of divine victory — it brings peace within and praise all around.

Faith doesn’t just wait for results; it rejoices in expectation. The joy described in Isaiah 55:12 is not a quiet smile — it’s an eruption of praise born out of trust. It’s the sound of hearts that have seen God’s faithfulness and can’t stay silent anymore.

Sometimes, the road to victory feels long. But every step of faith leads you closer to joy. Don’t let discouragement silence your song. Keep believing, keep praising — because when God’s word comes to pass, it will make everything around you celebrate.

Laughter is not just an emotion; it’s a weapon of victory. When you choose joy in the face of trials, you declare that the promise is greater than the pressure. God’s Word will never return void — it will accomplish exactly what He said.

    1. Joy Is the Language of Victory
“The joy of the Lord is your strength.” — Nehemiah 8:10
Joy empowers you to keep believing until the promise becomes reality.

    2. God’s Word Guarantees Results
“So is my word that goes out from my mouth: it will not return to me empty.” — Isaiah 55:11
Every word from God carries power to perform what He has spoken.

    3. Praise Prepares You for Fulfillment
“Let the peoples praise You, O God; let all the peoples praise You. Then the earth shall yield her increase.” — Psalm 67:5–6
Your praise releases the harvest of joy that God has promised.

    Today’s Reminder:
God’s promises never end in disappointment — they end in joy. When you trust Him fully, laughter becomes the proof of victory. Let joy lead you today; your song of triumph is about to burst forth.

    Prayer Point:
Father, thank You for turning my sorrow into joy. Help me to trust You with gladness and walk in peace, knowing Your word cannot fail. Let my life overflow with laughter, and may Your victory echo through every area of my life. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

    🗣 Declaration of Faith:
I go out in joy and return in peace.
God’s word over my life will not fail.
Laughter is my portion, victory is my testimony,
And every promise concerning me shall be fulfilled!

Theme: The Joy Code — Enjoying Life God’s Way
    Series: Laughter and Victory

    Scripture:
“So I recommend having fun, because there is nothing better for people in this world than to eat, drink, and enjoy life. That way they will experience some happiness along with all the hard work God gives them under the sun.” — Ecclesiastes 8:15 (NLT)

Devotional Message: Joy Is Not a Sin, It’s Strength
God never designed life to be full of sorrow and pressure alone. Work is good, discipline is needed, but joy is divine. The writer of Ecclesiastes reminds us that it’s not wrong to enjoy life — it’s actually wisdom to do so.

Many people take life so seriously that they forget to smile. But joy is part of your spiritual health. When you laugh, when you celebrate, when you take a moment to thank God and enjoy His blessings, you are walking in balance — the very rhythm of grace.

Laughter and enjoyment are not for lazy people; they are for those who trust God enough to rest in His goodness. It means you understand that life is not only about working hard but also about appreciating what God has given you.

True victory is not just about winning battles — it’s about living with joy after the battle. So, take time to laugh, to eat with gratitude, to enjoy your friends, to thank God for today. Each day is a gift.

Don’t wait for everything to be perfect before you rejoice — joy invites perfection. When your heart is light, your spirit is strong, and God’s presence flows freely. Remember: the same God who gives you work also gives you rest and laughter.

    1. God Wants You to Enjoy His Blessings
“Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father.” — James 1:17
It’s okay to smile and enjoy what God has given you — He delights in your joy.

    2. Joy Is Strength for the Journey
“The joy of the Lord is your strength.” — Nehemiah 8:10
Laughter restores your spirit and gives you energy to keep going.

    3. Gratitude Unlocks Enjoyment
“Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.” — 1 Thessalonians 5:18
When you thank God for little things, He fills your life with bigger joy.

    Today’s Reminder:
Joy is not a luxury — it’s part of your faith. Life is short, but God’s goodness is eternal. Work hard, love deeply, laugh often, and live gratefully. Every moment of joy is a victory over sorrow.

    Prayer Point:
Father, thank You for giving me the gift of joy. Teach me to live with gratitude and laughter, even in busy or difficult seasons. Let Your peace fill my heart and help me enjoy the blessings You have given. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

    🗣 Declaration of Faith:
    I choose joy today.
God gives me peace, laughter, and victory.
My life is full of gratitude and grace.
Every day is a reason to rejoice!

    Theme: Created for Fruitful Works
    Series: Kingdom Living

    Scripture:
“For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.” — Ephesians 2:10 (KJV)

    Devotional Message: Designed for Harvest
You are not an accident—you are God’s masterpiece. He shaped you in Christ with a purpose in mind: good works that produce fruit and glorify Him. Fruitfulness is not something you chase; it is something you were created for.

Just as a seed is designed to become a tree, you were designed to walk in good works that bring harvest. These works are not random—they were prepared by God long before you were born. Your role is to discover them and walk in them daily.

When you live in obedience, serve with love, and use your gifts to bless others, you are fulfilling God’s design. A fruitful life is not about doing everything, but about doing the works God has ordained for you. That is where true harvest flows.

    1. You Are God’s Masterpiece
“I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made…” (Psalm 139:14)
You were created with care and intention to live a fruitful life.

    2. You Were Made for Good Works
“Let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.” (Matthew 5:16)
Good works reveal God’s glory and bring harvest.

    3. Fruitfulness Is Pre-Ordained
“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you…” (Jeremiah 1:5)
God planned your fruitfulness before you began life.

    4. Walking in Them Brings Harvest
“By this my Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit and so prove to be my disciples.” (John 15:8)
Fruitfulness is proof of your walk with Christ.

    Today’s Reminder:
You are God’s masterpiece, created for good works. Walk in them daily, and your life will overflow with fruitfulness and harvest.

    Prayer Point:
    Father,
Thank You for creating me with purpose. Help me to walk in the good works You prepared for me. Let my life reflect Your design and produce fruit that glorifies You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

    🗣 Declaration of Faith:
    I am God’s masterpiece.
