Biblical Origin:
Passover commemorates Israel’s deliverance from Egypt (Exodus 12). God passed over the homes marked by lamb’s blood, sparing them from judgment.
Fulfillment in Christ:
Jesus is our Passover Lamb (1 Corinthians 5:7). His blood covers us, delivering us from sin and death.

Esau sold his birthright for a bowl of lentil stew—reminding us of the danger of trading eternal things for temporary comfort.
Ingredients:
1 cup red lentils
1 tbsp olive oil
1 onion, chopped
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 tsp cumin
1 tsp coriander
1 tsp paprika
4 cups vegetable broth
Salt to taste
Instructions:
Sauté onion and garlic in olive oil until soft.

Biblical Origin:

Jesus promised the Holy Spirit as a comforter and guide. Pentecost is the birth of the Church and the empowerment of believers.

Barley was a staple grain in ancient Israel—symbolizing humility and provision. Jesus multiplied barley loaves to feed thousands.
Ingredients:
2 cups barley flour
1 tsp salt
1 tbsp olive oil
¾ cup warm water
Optional: honey or herbs
Instructions:
Mix flour and salt. Add olive oil and water gradually.
Knead into a soft dough. Let rest 30 minutes.
