• How to Handle Negative Emotions by Wilma Watson

We all experience negative emotions at some point—feelings of fear, anger, guilt, sadness, low self-esteem, rejection, and abandonment. So, how do we deal with these emotions when they arise?

In this article, I’ll guide you on how to navigate your negative emotions, allowing God to heal and set you free.

Many people struggle with these issues because they haven't learned to process their emotions effectively. Personally, I grew up being taught to suppress negative feelings with phrases like, “Don’t be afraid” or “Don’t be angry.” I believed all negative emotions were bad, but I've since learned that God created every emotion for our good!

The key is understanding how to respond positively to our feelings. Here are three essential things we need to know to process our emotions correctly:

Acknowledge Your Emotions: Accept that it's okay to feel.
Seek Understanding: Ask God to reveal the root of these emotions.
Express and Release: Find healthy ways to share and let go of these feelings.

Join me on this journey to emotional healing and discover how God can transform your negative experiences into opportunities for growth and freedom!

  • To whom it may concern,

Sometimes, you may rise in the morning and say to yourself, “here I am once again, forcing myself to get out of bed in order to exist another day.” Just know you are understood because you are not alone. Yet, and most importantly, remember you are here because you are pivotal, have purpose due to what you’ve overcome. It may not seem that way to you, but it is. Therefore, is that triumph heavy? Absolutely! Yet despite what you are going through, or your past experiences, you have an amazing objective. You may not comprehend it now, but it’ll reveal itself to you in due time so have patience and allow our Lord #JesusChrist to give you rest.

What you need to know, is that you are special, because no one has been able to survive YOUR struggles, your conflicts, your pain and the hostility of your present or past experiences. It’s the reason why you are a champion because you fight inner battles and are always left standing because you were made to conquer! You may feel exhausted, but that’s okay. Besides, you will always be confronted with battles throughout your life. Just keep preparing for the win as you’ve always done because He knows you wear the #ArmorofGod!

    Sincerely yours in Christ,

10 Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might. 11 Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil.
