So many ask:"Why am I not growing in my career?" Why is my ministry stagnant?" "Why haven't I gotten married yet?" The truth is, the season may have arrived and the door may have been available, but you missed it because you didn't recognize it for what it was. One of the primary reasons for this is a failure to discern the times. You can easily miss a season that you have not discerned. To discern your seasons and times, you must first understand that for every season of your life, a window opens before a door opens. Windows are for revelation. Doors are for opportunity. This is the divine equation for manifestation. Frustration and failure usually come to those who try to walk through doors when they haven't first seen the windows: those who chase opportunities without having the underlying revelation and understanding. Before you ask for a door of opportunity, ask yourself: Have I received the revelation of the thing I desire? Allow God’s Spirit to show you the windows of revelation before you attempt to walk through the doors of opportunity. *PHANEROO MINISTRIES INTERNATIONAL DEVOTION* Thursday, 11th December 2025 Apostle Grace Lubega *REBUKE IN LOVE* *Hebrews 12:6(KJV):* “For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth.” Rebuke is one of the least comfortable expressions of love, yet one of the most necessary. Infact, the Bible reveals in 2 Timothy 3:16 that part of the reason why the scriptures were given to us is reproof and correction. However, the scriptures also show us how this correction should be done. We learn from the Word that God’s correction is never detached from His love and compassion. When God rebukes, it is not to embarrass or ashame but to restore, preserve, and align us with His heart and purpose. You must understand that love is the place from which God always corrects His children. As believers, we are called to reflect this same nature. Any rebuke should leave the other person knowing that they are valued and they need to align to that same value we see in them. If there is no love in our rebuke, we have missed the heart of God. While it is true that some people generally cannot take correction even when it is coming from the purest place, sometimes, people become more rebellious simply because they do not see love in the rebuke. Always remember that where love leads, transformation follows. In essence, the scripture says that opportunities and experiences happen to all. The world’s most successful people know how to harness the power of experiences and the power of opportunities. It is important to understand that opportunities usually come after experiences. Many successful people, whether in ministry, business, or any area of life, often speak of a turning point. It may not always sound like a big and significant event, but when you listen closely to their stories, you’ll notice that at some point in time, something changed inside them first. That change may have been a new understanding of life, a deeper connection with God, or a time of clarity and vision concerning their destinies. That is the experience and often, the experience opens the door for new opportunities. Most worlds of success are unlocked when a person is ready. It may not be physical readiness but usually, there is an inner readiness that makes all the difference. This readiness happens at the point of the experience. You start seeing opportunities, open doors, answered prayers, and progress. People notice you. Some celebrate with you, but not everyone will. It is impossible to be favored by God and not be hated by someone. That is simply how life works. Joseph was loved by his father and had dreams from God, but his own brothers hated him for it. David was anointed by God, but King Saul wanted him dead. Jesus healed the sick and loved everyone, but people still plotted to kill Him. So what does this mean for you? It means you must grow thick skin early. Do not be surprised when people misunderstand you, talk behind your back, or try to bring you down. It is not always because of something you have done wrong; it could be because of what you are doing right. God’s favor attracts blessings, and sometimes it also attracts haters. But hear this clearly: It’s not too late. You may not have known how to raise them in the Word before, but you know now and that is where you begin. Don’t let guilt or regret silence you. Send them a devotional. Invite them to church, or take them with you. Pray for them daily. Call them just to speak encouragement and love. This assurance is that as we advance against the forces of darkness, the gates of hell shall not prevail against us. In Genesis 22:17 AMP, the Bible says, “…your seed shall possess the gate of their enemies [by conquering them].” In Luke 8:11, the scripture explains the mystery of the seed and says it is the Word of God. The promise is that the Word must prevail against the gates of the enemy. This means that the message we minister must propel believers into claiming their victory against the works of darkness. Sadly, however, there is a message that leaves Christians as potential victims of the enemy, constantly under attack and on the run from the evil one. But we have been called to preach a message that causes them to stand firm and reveal the greatness of God within them. When the Church preaches a gospel that opens the eyes of believers to who they are in Christ, they prevail. When Christians are taught that greater is He that is in them than he that is in the world, no power in hell can withstand them. When Christ declared, “All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth” (Matthew 28:18), He did not stop there. He transferred that power to us, His body. We are not a weak, struggling people trying to survive the world. We are the divine extension of Christ’s authority on the earth. When He triumphed, we triumphed with Him. When He was exalted, we were raised with Him to sit in heavenly places, far above all principality, power, and might. Our theme scripture gives a picture of this authority. The Bible says that the enemy bruises the heel, but the Seed of the woman crushes the serpent’s head. The heel represents the message — for the scripture says, “How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news” (Romans 10:15). Yes, the enemy may attempt to attack the message, to distort or oppose the Gospel, but when the Church fights back, we strike the head! When we hit the head, we hit everything the enemy represents — his systems and his empires. One who strikes the head is greater than one who strikes the heel. Take the example of the Apostle Paul. When he preached the gospel, in cities like Lystra, Iconium, and Antioch, he was attacked, rejected, and even stoned until people thought he was dead. Anyone else would have thought to themselves, “I will never go back to that place again.” However, Paul went back to preach in the place where he was beaten, almost, to death. Infact, our theme scripture reveals that he went back to strengthen the believers. What an attitude! This teaches us an important lesson: If you’ve faced setbacks in certain areas, don’t be too quick to walk away forever. If you believe God called you to it, go back again. For example, if you applied for something and didn’t get it, try again. Take back your proposal and return to the people who rejected you before. If you had a business that didn’t work the first time, rebuild it. We often give up too quickly. We assume that every rejection is a sign for us to quit. However, Paul shows us the importance of persistence, even when you encounter obstacles. Success isn’t always about starting something new. They weigh God’s forgiveness according to human standards based on the gravity of the sin. Here’s the truth: There is no such thing as being “too far gone” with Jesus. Our theme scripture tells us that Jesus is able to save to the uttermost, that is, completely, fully, and forever, anyone who comes to Him. It doesn’t matter what you have done, or for how long you did it. He doesn’t cleanse only the so-called “small” sins, He washes away everything, even what people consider the worst of the worst. For example, a person who once stole millions of dollars and someone who has only stolen a cookie, if they both repent, can both stand clean before God because of the blood of Jesus. The one who stole more is not more of a sinner simply because of how much he stole. The blood of Jesus doesn’t rank sins. The moment something doesn’t go as planned, many stop praying and trusting Him. When things take longer than expected, they stop believing. If their prayer isn’t answered right away, they assume God has said “No.” But faith isn’t about everything making sense. True faith is believing even when it doesn’t make sense. You prayed for healing, and it didn’t come right away, believe God. You trusted Him for provision, but the money hasn’t shown up yet, believe God. The situation feels delayed, impossible, or painful, but still, believe God. Job went through unimaginable pain. He lost everything (Job 1). Yet, he made one of the most powerful faith statements in the Bible: “Though He slay me, yet will I trust in Him.” His faith in God went beyond something seemingly permanent such as death. The Message version of the same scripture says, “Even if he killed me, I’d keep on hoping.” That’s deep trust. Job’s strong conviction must provoke you to believe! It is only a matter of time before you see the manifestation of what you desire. But don’t quit. Don’t throw in the towel.
