The Mushar Community of Bihar🇮🇳 The Mushar people in Bihar, India, are among the most forgotten and oppressed communities. Once known as “rat-eaters” because of their deep poverty, they have faced generations of discrimination and live as “untouchables” at the bottom of society. Most Mushars survive on hard labor in fields and brick kilns, earning almost nothing. Their children suffer the most — many go hungry, work as child laborers, or are married off too young.
