• THE CHRISTMAS DAY!

Christmas Day is more than a public holiday or a cultural celebration.

It is the commemoration of God’s greatest gift to humanity—the birth of Jesus Christ. On this day, heaven touched the earth, eternity entered time, and hope was given to a fallen world.

Christmas reveals God’s love, His plan of redemption, and His desire to dwell with mankind.

    1. CHRISTMAS DAY IS THE FULFILLMENT OF GOD’S PROMISE

    Isaiah 7:14; Isaiah 9:6; Luke 2:11

The birth of Jesus did not happen by accident. It was the fulfillment of prophecies spoken hundreds of years earlier. God promised a Savior, and at the appointed time, that promise was fulfilled.

Jesus was born exactly as foretold.

Christmas assures us that God keeps His word.

If God fulfilled His promise then, He will fulfill every promise He has made to us.

Lesson: Trust God’s promises, even when fulfillment seems delayed.

    2. CHRISTMAS DAY REVEALS GOD’S LOVE FOR HUMANITY

    John 3:16; Romans 5:8; 1 John 4:9

Christmas is the clearest expression of God’s love. God did not send an angel or a message; He sent His Son.

Jesus came to identify with humanity.

He was born in humility to reach all people—rich and poor alike.

Love is the true message behind Christmas.

Lesson: As we celebrate Christmas, we are called to reflect God’s love to others through kindness, forgiveness, and generosity.

    3. CHRISTMAS DAY DECLARES SALVATION TO THE WORLD

    Scripture: Matthew 1:21; Luke 2:10–11; Acts 4:12

The angel announced “good tidings of great joy” because a Savior was born. Jesus came with a clear mission—to save humanity from sin.

Christmas points beyond the manger to the cross.

The birth of Christ marked the beginning of God’s plan of salvation.

There is no true Christmas without acknowledging Jesus as Savior and Lord.

Lesson: Salvation is a gift that must be personally received.

    4. CHRISTMAS DAY CALLS FOR A RESPONSE

    Luke 2:15–20; Matthew 2:10–11

Different people responded differently to the birth of Jesus:

    The shepherds believed and worshiped.

The wise men gave gifts and honor.

    Herod rejected Him.

Christmas demands a decision. We must choose how we will respond to Christ.

Lesson: True celebration of Christmas is found in worship, obedience, and surrender to Christ.

    5. CHRISTMAS DAY BRINGS PEACE AND HOPE

    Luke 2:14; John 14:27; Romans 15:13

Jesus came as the Prince of Peace.

He brings peace with God through forgiveness of sin.

He gives inner peace in troubled times.

He offers hope beyond the challenges of this world.

Lesson: No matter the situation, Christ remains our peace and hope.

    CONCLUSION

Christmas Day reminds us that God is with us, God loves us, and God has provided salvation through Jesus Christ.

It is a day to reflect, rejoice, and renew our commitment to live for Him. Let us not only celebrate Christmas with our lips, but with transformed lives.

ALTAR CALL / CALL TO COMMITMENT

If you have not accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, Christmas is the perfect time to receive God’s greatest gift. He came for you. Today, open your heart to Him.

    PRAYER
Heavenly Father, thank You for the gift of Your Son, Jesus Christ.

Thank You for Your love, salvation, and peace. As we celebrate Christmas Day, help us to live in obedience, love others sincerely, and glorify You in all we do. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

  • GLORIOUS CHRISTMAS DAY SERMON
    25TH DECEMBER 2025

    LESSON: Luke 2:1-7

    TOPIC:
    CHRISTMAS WITHOUT CHRIST

    TEXT:
And she brought forth her firstborn Son, and wrapped Him in swaddling cloths, and laid Him in a manger, because there was no room for them in the inn. Glory in the Highest Luke 2:7 (NKJV).

    INTRODUCTION
Every December, the world dresses up for celebration. Lights glow. Songs repeat themselves. Tables are prepared. Yet beneath the beauty, there is a quiet absence. Christ is often remembered as history, not received as Lord. We celebrate the day of His birth while ignoring the purpose of His coming. Christmas without Christ does not look wrong. It just feels hollow, if we are paying attention. Be blessed by the reason for the season in Jesus name.

    EXPOSITION:
[1]. THE CELEBRATION THAT LOST ITS CENTER
Christmas began in a manger, wrapped in humility and obedience. Luke 2:7 tells us there was no room for Him in the inn. That rejection echoes today. Many hearts are full, but not available. Isaiah 29:13 warns of people who honor God with their lips while their hearts are far away. Decorations replace devotion. Noise replaces worship. A celebration can be loud and still be spiritually silent.

    [2]. A BABY BORN WITH A MISSION
Jesus was not born to be admired seasonally, but followed daily. Matthew 1:21 declares His purpose clearly, to save His people from their sins. John 1:11 says He came to His own, and His own did not receive Him. Christmas without repentance is incomplete. Without obedience, it becomes sentimental religion. The manger points forward to the cross, and the cradle already carried the weight of Calvary.

[3]. INVITING CHRIST BACK INTO CHRISTMAS
Revelation 3:20 reveals a painful image. Christ standing at the door, knocking. Not the door of unbelievers, but of the church. We sing about Him, yet shut Him out of our decisions, priorities, and values. Romans 12:1 calls us to present our bodies as living sacrifices. That is how Christ returns to Christmas. When homes become altars. When families pray together. When generosity replaces excess, and worship replaces performance. Luke 2:19 tells us Mary pondered these things in her heart. Christmas is restored when we pause, reflect, and make room for Him again.

    CONCLUSION
    CHRISTMAS WITHOUT CHRIST IS CARNIVAL
Remove Christ, and Christmas becomes a routine. Restore Christ, and Christmas becomes a revelation.

    PRAYER
Lord Jesus, we make room for You again. Take the center, not the corner. Be born afresh in our hearts and reign as King. Amen.

    GOODWILL MESSAGE
May your celebration be filled with His presence,
    not just His memory.

    MERRY CHRISTMAS
    HAVE A WONDERFUL CELEBRATION.

  • GLORIOUS SUNDAY SERMON OF
    21ST DECEMBER 2025

    LESSON: Isaiah 9:6-7

    TOPIC:
    THE CHRISTMAS AURA.

    TEXT:
When the fullness of time had come, God sent forth His Son. Galatians 4:4 (NKJV).

    INTRODUCTION:
As Christmas draws closer across the world, a subtle yet powerful shift takes place. Time feels different. Atmospheres soften. Even creation seems to respond. This affirms that Christmas is not merely cultural, but divinely permitted. Arguments about dates may persist, yet the purpose remains eternal. “When the fullness of time had come, God sent forth His Son” (Galatians 4:4). Christmas exists because salvation entered time through Jesus Christ. Be blessed by the word.

    EXPOSITION:
    [1]. THE SEASONAL SHIFT
This season carries a distinct rhythm. Time slows, inviting reflection. Weather and climate, in many regions, calm both body and soul. Music fills the air with hope and remembrance. Social activities increase, visitations multiply, and gifts are exchanged. Scripture reminds us, “For unto us a Child is born… and His name shall be called Wonderful” Isaiah 9:6.
These outward expressions reflect an inward divine stirring. The aura prepares hearts to remember Christ.

    [2]. THE SPIRITUAL OPENING
    During Christmas, resistance often softens.
People listen more. Compassion flows freely. Forgiveness becomes reachable.
“The people who walked in darkness have seen a great light” Isaiah 9:2. God uses atmosphere before He uses arguments. The aura creates access to hearts where sermons alone may struggle.

    [3]. THE BELIEVER’S RESPONSIBILITY
This moment must not be wasted. Believers are called to shine. “Let your light so shine before men” Matthew 5:16. Our lives must preach before our words.
Use visitations to share truth. Use gifts to express love. Use gatherings to gently present salvation.
“Go into all the world and preach the gospel”
    Mark 16:15.

    CONCLUSION:
    NOT JUST A CELEBRATION!
Christmas is not just a celebration, it is a revelation. “She will bring forth a Son, and you shall call His name Jesus, for He will save His people” Matthew 1:21.

    PRAYER:
Lord Jesus, help us discern this season wisely.
Let our lives reflect Your light, and may many find salvation through us. Amen.

    GOODWILL MESSAGE:
    Merry Christmas in advance.
May the peace of Christ reign richly in your home.

  • From the Manger to the Cross: The Mission of Christmas

Christmas is far more than decorations, gifts, and celebrations.

It is the unveiling of God’s eternal plan for the salvation of mankind.

The baby in the manger was not born to remain a baby; He was born with a mission.

From the manger in Bethlehem to the cross at Calvary, Jesus Christ came with a clear purpose—to redeem humanity from sin and restore us to God.

    1. The Manger: God’s Humble Entrance into the World

“And she brought forth her firstborn Son, and wrapped Him in swaddling clothes, and laid Him in a manger…” — Luke 2:7

Jesus, the King of glory, chose humility as His entrance into the world.

He was not born in a palace but in a stable. This teaches us that God’s ways are different from man’s ways.

“The Word became flesh and dwelt among us.” — John 1:14

    Note:
God came close to humanity. Christmas reminds us that no matter how low our situation may be, God can reach us there.

    2. The Mission Announced at Birth

“For there is born to you this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.” — Luke 2:11

The angels did not announce a politician, a reformer, or a philosopher—they announced a Savior.

“And she shall bring forth a Son, and you shall call His name JESUS, for He will save His people from their sins.” — Matthew 1:21

    Lesson:
The mission of Christmas is salvation. Jesus came to deal with the root problem of humanity—sin.

    3. The Life Between the Manger and the Cross

Jesus lived a life of obedience, compassion, and service. He healed the sick, fed the hungry, raised the dead, and preached the Kingdom of God.

“Though He was in the form of God… He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death.” — Philippians 2:6–8

    Lesson:
Jesus showed us how to live—loving God, serving others, and obeying the Father completely.

    4. The Cross: The Fulfillment of the Mission

The manger pointed to the cross. His birth was for His death.

“But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities.” — Isaiah 53:5

At the cross, Jesus paid the full price for sin.

“So when Jesus had received the sour wine, He said, ‘It is finished!’” — John 19:30

    Lesson:
The mission of Christmas was completed at Calvary. Salvation is not earned; it is finished by Christ.

    5. The Resurrection: Proof the Mission Was Successful

“He is not here, but is risen!” — Luke 24:6

If Jesus had only died, Christmas would be incomplete. But He rose again, giving us victory over sin, death, and the grave.

    Lesson:
Because He lives, we can live also—free, forgiven, and full of hope.

    Conclusion

From the manger to the cross, Jesus’ mission was clear: to save, to redeem, and to restore humanity to God.

Christmas calls us not just to celebrate His birth, but to accept His mission personally.

The question today is not “Do you know the Christmas story?”

The real question is “Have you received the Christ of Christmas?”

“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son…” — John 3:16

    Closing Prayer
Lord Jesus, thank You for coming from heaven to earth, from the manger to the cross, for my sake.

I receive Your gift of salvation. Help me to live for the purpose You came to fulfill. Amen.
