    Theme: Remembering God’s Goodness
    Series: Gratitude & Celebration

    Scripture:
“The Lord has done great things for us; we are glad.” — Psalm 126:3

    Reflection:

Hear this prophetically today, but receive it gently: God has been good to you, and your heart is allowed to acknowledge it again. Psalm 126:3 is not loud or complicated. It is honest, reflective, and deeply human.

It is the voice of people who stopped, looked back, and said,
    “God really helped us.”

This scripture reveals three simple but powerful truths:

God’s hand is active in your story
Gratitude grows when remembrance is intentional
Gladness is a rightful response, not an overreaction

Sometimes we rush forward so quickly that we forget to pause and admit,
“The Lord has done great things for me.”

This verse invites you to slow down, breathe, and remember.

    1. The Lord Has Done — Recognizing God’s Involvement

    “The Lord has done…”

This is where gratitude begins: recognition.

Not everything you survived was by strength.
Not every door opened because of effort.
Not every delay ended on its own.

    God was involved.

    When you acknowledge God’s hand:

    • Your faith steadies
    • Complaints lose their power
    • Humility grows
    • Peace settles in
    • Trust deepens

    Ask yourself:
What has God done for me that I have quietly overlooked?

    Recognition turns survival into testimony.

    2. Great Things — Learning to See Beyond the Ordinary

    “…great things…”

Some of God’s greatest works don’t look dramatic at first.

    Strength to keep going.
Provision that came just in time.
    Protection you never noticed.
    Grace that covered mistakes.
    Peace that didn’t make sense.

What felt normal then may actually have been mercy.

    Ask yourself:
What once felt small, but I now see was God’s kindness?

Perspective changes gratitude from routine to revelation.

    3. We Are Glad — Choosing a Heart Response

    “…we are glad.”

    Gladness here is not hype.
It is quiet joy that comes from remembering.

    Gladness says:
“I won’t let pressure erase gratitude.”
    “I won’t let today’s stress cancel yesterday’s goodness.”
“I won’t forget what God has already done.”

Gladness is a choice to stay thankful even while still believing for more.

    Ask yourself:
Have I allowed worry to silence my joy?

Sometimes joy doesn’t come from new breakthroughs,
    but from revisiting old ones.

    Say This Gently but Confidently:

The Lord has done great things for me.
I choose to remember His goodness.
My heart responds with gratitude, not complaint.
    Gladness fills my spirit today.
I will not forget what God has done.
My joy is rooted in His faithfulness.
I live thankful, hopeful, and at peace.

    Prayer:

Father, thank You for the great things You have done in my life.
Thank You for the help I saw and the help I didn’t notice at the time.
Forgive me for the moments I rushed past gratitude.
Teach me to remember with clarity and to rejoice sincerely.
Let gladness return to my heart as I reflect on Your goodness.
I choose thanksgiving today, and I rest in Your faithfulness.
    In Jesus’ name, Amen.

    Action Step for Today:
Pause for a few minutes and list three things God has already done for you.
Thank Him for each one, slowly and sincerely.

    Say:
“Lord, You have done great things for me, and I am glad.”

    Final Thought:
When you remember what God has done, gladness rises naturally — and gratitude keeps your heart grounded in peace.
