⚠️ What Are the Signs of Separation from God, and Are They Spiritual Death? ⚰️ The signs of separation are: First: Man's ignorance of his Creator, especially His goodness and love. Second: The ignorance and presumption latent in the heart that man is the source of his own life, and that food is the source of his existence, which the Lord Jesus warned us against when He forbade us from being anxious about what we eat, or what we wear, and other matters we think are the source of our life (Matthew 6:26-32). And when He directed the heart's gaze towards God's care for all creatures like the lilies of the field and the birds of the air, He was revealing man's ignorance of God, which is the first sign of spiritual death; because this false immortality is the source of pride. If God is the source of our life, why do we become arrogant? And what is the authority within us that makes us decide the destinies of other humans? Third: The presumption that "transgression" leads us to a better existence and a better life that is given growth. Fourth: Doubting the wisdom of God's commandments, considering them weakness and ignorance, and that the good man determines for himself is better than the good that comes from communion. While choosing good and evil according to the desires and vanity of the heart is "transgression." Do you want, beloved, to know more than that? 💀 Is Spiritual Death Separation from God? 🤔 Man's existence contradicts the purpose of his creation; because there is no being in the heavens or on earth that has life in itself, alive by its own power and will, and capable of remaining by its own capabilities. God alone is eternally alive, and He is, as the Holy Scriptures say, "He who is," while we have the image of this Being. Therefore, separation is only from our side, it began from us and remains in us by rejecting the commandments and seeking power that does not know love and is not moved by humility, namely the life of Satan whose life died when he wanted to become like God without God. Here we must realize that separation is only from our side, and that God did not separate His life from us, but preserved for us the grace of existence, and according to the Apostle's phrase, "In Him we live and move and have our being" (Acts 17:28), awaiting the time of renewal. 💀 Spiritual Death Spiritual death and hell are two sides of the same coin; because hell is the confined life with no growth, which has lost the purpose or the end of existence; because man, created in the image of God, without God becomes an image of himself, and thus defines and confines his existence in a non-growing existence limited by the human image he created for himself, and therefore man is unable to rise to what is higher than his human image; because fighting the image of God in us makes us strangers to our true existence, and captives of our false existence which we made for ourselves. And when the Apostle said about our Lord glorified that He "condemned sin in the flesh" (Romans 8:3), He accepted the death of the body which desires immortality and strives to remain by the power of the inner life without God, i.e., without the grace of God, the true source of life. But the Lord Jesus took our flesh and restored it to the life that does not die through communion in His divine hypostasis, which is communion in the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. And when the Lord tasted death in the flesh on the cross, He passed judgment on the corruption of sin as a lifestyle (or means) of life, for He rejected the life that does not know God nor accepts Him, unlike Adam. When He tasted death, He put an end to the alienation of the flesh from God and from the inner life (the heart); because the flesh becomes alienated from the human spirit when it becomes a means and tool for sin, thus abandoning natural (biological) life and being shaped by all the images of sin and falling captive to death; because the death of sin springs from sin, which the Apostle describes as "dead works of the flesh," i.e., those that have no life in them, and which make us strangers to ourselves, to our bodies, and to God Himself, the source of life. #SpiritualDeath #Hell #Sin #ImageOfGod #Alienation #Redemption

✝️ Did the Lord Jesus Christ die a spiritual and physical death together on the cross, like Adam? The answer is yes, and no. He took the "judgment" that was meant for us, but He tore up the "certificate of debt" and lifted it away, meaning He removed it from the relationship of communion between God and man. He tore it up on the cross when He nailed it there. This would not happen if the Lord had died a spiritual death like Adam, which is why the Apostle Peter said on the day of Pentecost that death could not "hold him" (Acts 2:24). Because the judgment was issued by the one Trinity, there was no one else with the authority of judgment besides the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. The righteous Judge does not give an account to another; rather, according to His goodness, He gives what He wills. For the clay does not dare to ask the potter, "Why have you made me like this?" (Romans 9:20-21) When we say yes, it is because He truly died, and His soul was separated from His body, which is the same death as Adam's.
