"THE BIBLE IS NOT A SCIENCE BOOK!"\r
How many times have we heard this from atheist or evolutionists, about the Bible not being a science book. But I disagree, In the relative past we have numerous examples of the Bible being correct and science being wrong at the time. This continues into the future, making the holy word truth, destroying the, wisdom of the wise, as God said he would!
THE BIBLE AND SCIENCE: A Match Made in Heaven
For centuries, the Bible and science have been seen as two opposing forces. However, as our understanding of the world and the universe has grown, we have discovered that the Bible and science are actually in harmony. In fact, the Bible has made many scientific discoveries before science itself.
One of the most striking examples of this is the Bible's description of the earth as a sphere. In Isaiah 40:22, the Bible says, "He that sitteth upon the circle of the earth, and the inhabitants thereof are as grasshoppers; that stretcheth out the heavens as a curtain, and spreadeth them out as a tent to dwell in:" This was written over 2,000 years ago, long before the concept of a round earth was accepted by scientists.
Another example is the Bible's mention of ocean currents. Psalm 8:8 says, "The fowl of the air, and the fish of the sea, and whatsoever passeth through the paths of the seas." This was written over 3,000 years ago, long before the discovery of ocean currents.
The Bible also talks about the different kinds of stars. 1 Corinthians 15:41 says, "There is one glory of the sun, and another glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars: for one star differeth from another star in glory." This was written almost 2,000 years ago, long before the discovery of different types of stars.
The Bible also says that the universe had a beginning. Genesis 1:1 says, "In the beginning, God created the heaven and the earth." This was written over 3,000 years ago, long before the Big Bang Theory was developed.
The Bible also says that there are things that cannot be seen. Hebrews 11:3 says, "Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear." This was written almost 2,000 years ago, long before the discovery of the electromagnetic spectrum, which shows that we can only see a small portion of the light spectrum.
The Bible also says that the stars are innumerable. Genesis 22:17 says, "That in blessing I will bless thee, and in multiplying I will multiply thy seed as the stars of the heaven, and as the sand which is upon the sea shore.
