• SCIENTISTS MAY HAVE FINALLY FOUND HOW ALZHEIMER'S KILLS BRAIN CELLS
    SYNOPSIS: Researchers from King’s College London have identified karyoptosis as a previously unknown mechanism that leads to the death of brain cells in Alzheimer’s disease and frontotemporal dementia. The process of karyoptosis is triggered by the buildup of toxic proteins, which causes the nerve cell's nucleus to shrivel and disintegrate, ultimately killing the neuron. • USE IT AND GET MORE OR FAIL TO USE IT AND LOSE IT - Derek Prince
    From 1957 to 1961 I served as principal of a teacher training college for African teachers in Kenya. During that time we had a sovereign visitation of the Holy Spirit in our college. In meetings with my students I saw all nine gifts of the Spirit in operation among us at various times. I also saw two of my students—on different occasions—raised from the dead. They both testified later of what they had experienced while their spirits were out of their bodies.
    Later, in America, I received an unexpected “gift” for ministering to people who were lame. As I seated them in a chair and held their feet in my hands, the shorter leg would grow out in front of my eyes and they would be healed.
    Some people, however, suggested that this was not an appropriate ministry for a dignified, scholarly Bible teacher. I decided to ask the Lord about this and I felt He gave me this answer: I have given you a gift. There are two things you can do with it. You can use it and get more. Or you can fail to use it and lose it. There and then I decided to go on using what God had given me, and indeed I did receive more.
    On occasion I have seen a short leg grow out as much as two inches. Also the release of God’s supernatural power in this way triggered other miracles. In one place, without any special prayer being offered, a man was healed of three major infirmities and delivered from nicotine addiction.
    I remember one woman who came with a paper bag in her hand and a one-and-a-half-inch buildup on the heel of one shoe. When I took her feet in my hands, her short leg grew out one and a half inches. Then she opened her paper bag and took out a pair of new shoes with normal heels. They fit
    her perfectly.
    I eventually decided that the scriptural name for my gift was “workings of miracles (power).”
    About the same time God directed me into what I came to see as a different application of the same gift. He began to use me in the public casting out of demons. Once again,there were those who objected to the noisy and disorderly manifestations that often accompanied this ministry. I observed in the gospels, however, that similar manifestations often accompanied the ministry of Jesus and so I decided to continue. In the years that have followed I have seen thousands of people wonderfully delivered from demon power.
    If we desire the unhindered operation of spiritual gifts, we sometimes need to set ourselves free from traditional ideas of how we should behave “in church.”
    Another key to exercising spiritual gifts is to cultivate sensitivity to the Holy Spirit and to make room for Him to move as and when He wills. On one occasion, Ruth and I were having lunch with a Christian couple, and the wife shared that she had a medically diagnosed genetic defect that made her unable to utilize certain amino acids. Her brain was progressively deteriorating.
    The husband left to keep another appointment, and we walked back with the wife to their apartment. In the parking lot we paused for a moment to say good-bye. Prompted by the Holy Spirit, Ruth said, “Let me pray for you.” Then we parted.
    About three weeks later the husband told us that his wife had been completely healed. This was later confirmed at the same hospital where her condition had been diagnosed.
    In that instance, God had just one place and one moment where He made healing available. Because Ruth responded to the prompting of the Holy Spirit.

  • ```DAILY ANNA - (A DAILY DEVOTIONAL GUIDE FOR ADULTS)

    MONDAY 16TH FEBRUARY, 2026```

    *A CONSUMING FIRE* 🫵🏽🏽‍🏽‍🏽‍🏽‍🏽

    ```TEXT:LAMENTATIONS 2:1-5```
    ```KEY VERSE:``` _*"He hath cut off in his fierce anger all the horn of Israel: he hath drawn back his right hand from before the enemy, and he burned against Jacob like a flaming fire, which devoureth round about" (LAMENTATIONS 2:3).*_

    *From January 7 to 31, 2025, a series of 14 destructive wildfires affected the Los Angeles metropolitan area and San Diego County in California. According to a _Wikipedia_ report, the fires were exacerbated by drought conditions, low humidity, a buildup of vegetation from the previous winter, and hurricane-force _Santa Ana_ winds, which reached 100 miles per hour in some places. As at January 31, 2025, the wildfires had killed at least 29 people, forced more than 200,000 to evacuate, and destroyed more than 18,000 homes and structures, some of them belonging to Hollywood celebrities. The wildfires burned a total of 57,000 acres of land.*

    *The wrath of God is poured down, like wildfire, in today's passage, on Israel, God's beloved nation. This confirms that sinners will not go unpunished because the Holy God cannot deny Himself to indulge any sinful child or creature of His. His word cannot fail - "the soul that sinneth, it shall die." In this passage, we see how He overthrew the physical structures of Israel and waged war against a people He loved. He completely forgot the past privileges of "the daughter of Zion," "the beauty of Israel", and "His footstool," because of their backsliding.*

    *Israel had been God's special people from the days of Abraham, who pleased God by faith. But He never withheld punishment whenever they erred. God is a loving Father, but He never indulges His children in sin. A thin line, it is said, separates life from death, love from bitterness, and friendship from enmity. God is loving and caring, but He deals with us according to our current, not the historical relationship with Him. He is no respecter of persons and does not condone sin. He is longsuffering while waiting for sinners to repent, and He quickly forgives them whenever they turn to Him for mercy and pardon. Yet, He is unsparing in judgment when they abuse His longsuffering.*

    *A lesson from the plight of Israel is that when God turns against His children, it will be like an attack from a mortal enemy. This confirms that there is no permanent, unconditional security with God. Believers must work out their salvation with humility, faith, and godly reverence by consciously living right daily and by the grace freely given by God. We must avoid complacency, relying only on our past testimonies or relationship with God. Anyone who thinks they are standing in Christ regardless of their spiritual state will likely fall short and even miss heaven. Sinners must repent of their sins, and backsliders must return to their first love to escape God's judgment.*

  • Good morning everyone. Grace and peace be with you.

    My apologies for not posting yesterday, I overslept and then had to get to our appointment. (All went well.) Was going to catch up last night, however, that did not work out either, but the time did give me a couple of ideas.

    What does it mean to be a Christian?

    There are several thoughts and ideas about being a Christian. Some feel that if you are a Christian, you are ‘bound’ by strict and no-fun rules. Some feel that if you are a Christian, you are a pushover and weak. But, then there are those who know the Truth and want to share the correct version of what it means to be a Christian.

    Fresh out of the Book of Karalee … What does it mean to be a Christian?

    When I decided to follow Him, I decided to change my life from the disastrous path it was on and do something better. When I made the decision to follow Him, I knew that I had to change my language, I had to look out for the underdog, I had to be truthful and honest. In my early years…those were my thoughts on being a Christian. Pretty bare knuckle. Pretty simple.

    To this day, that is the ‘basis’ of my Christian walk. When I made that choice to “Follow Him”, he did not come down and tell me everything I was doing wrong and condemn me; he gave me a big hung and said welcome to the family.

    As time went on, different situations occurred, and He gave me choices to make. Some, I hit a homerun, others I struck out twice in one at bat and started a brawl because I failed so badly.

    When I told my mother that I wanted to be baptized she asked me a string of questions to make sure I knew the commitment I was making. She was not trying to talk me out of it; she was trying to make sure I understood. I gave her my interpretation, and she agreed that I understood. She has watched me through all the stages of walk and corrected my boldness on many occasions because I was not being bold, I was trying to be the Holy One. (and easy trap that the enemy sets for us).

    So, what does it mean to be a Christian?

    Being a Christian means making the choice to do what is right, when everyone else likes the wrong choice. Being a Christian means to remaining calm when everyone else is screaming justice. Being a Christian means walking the holiest and trickiest of paths to pick the one flower that blooms so brightly. Being a Christian means not allowing your emotions to rule your mouth. (hard one for me). Being a Christian means seeing the peace that is present in the storm and trusting that He will provide. Being a Christian is knowing your Judas and treating them as Jesus did his.

    That is all colorful and pretty, now … in normal words:

    Being a Christian means you choose to use fewer vulgar words when talking. (Difficult place for me) Being a Christian means remaining calm when everything is falling apart around you. Yes, you can explode to release the buildup of emotions, but your explosion, if possible, should be in private and between you and God. Not the populace. Being a Christian means not calling people out in a public place so that they feel humiliated but talking to them in private like you would want. Being a Christian means that you will be degraded by others and revered by few. Being a Christian means that you are willing to stick up for the one who hurt you when someone is hurting them. Meaning, it does not mean what they did was right or righteous, but their judgement should come from God, not man, when it comes eternal salvation. We will all have to stand before Him one day, I cannot control what others do, but I can control how I respond. (Another difficulty spot). And … last but certainly not least; this came to me last night after a late shift, Jesus did not change the way he treated Judas even though he knew what was coming. He loved him. He welcomed him. He taught him. He did not call him out. The closest he came to calling him out was at the Last Supper and no one saw it, because he did not point his finger and call him a traitor or ungrateful. Without Judas, the cross would not have happened. Our personal Judas are what are helping form us into the Christian followers that He wants us to be. If we can unconditionally love and guide those who care nothing about us only themselves, then we are truly becoming more Christlike and building the kingdom one soul at a time.

    One last thought, when you make the choice to become a Christian, and follow Him, your heart WANTS to do everything it can to earn those words, ‘well done good and faithful servant’. It’s not a dictatorship, but a free will offering.

    Be blessed today my friends.

    ***May your hand be ready to help me, for I have chosen your precepts. – Psalm 119:173

  • The Biggest Cause of Kidney Damage Is Drinking Less Water!

    If you don’t drink enough water daily, your kidneys may start failing prematurely! Kidneys are vital for filtering toxins, maintaining fluid balance, and regulating blood pressure. When you’re dehydrated, waste products and minerals begin to accumulate, increasing the risk of kidney stones, urinary tract infections, and even kidney failure. Dehydration reduces blood flow to the kidneys, making it harder for them to function efficiently. Over time, this extra strain weakens the kidneys, leading to irreversible damage.

    Hallmark signs of kidney stress due to dehydration include dark-colored urine, which indicates concentrated waste buildup, persistent fatigue caused by the kidneys’ inability to filter toxins effectively, and frequent muscle cramps due to imbalanced electrolytes. Swelling in the legs, feet, or around the eyes can occur when excess fluids and toxins are not properly removed. Additionally, foamy or bubbly urine may indicate excess protein leakage, an early sign of kidney dysfunction. High blood pressure and lower back pain near the ribs can also signal kidney distress.

    To protect your kidneys, drink at least 8 to 10 glasses of water daily, increasing your intake in hot weather, after consuming salty foods, or during intense physical activity. Proper hydration helps flush out toxins, prevents kidney-related complications, and ensures your kidneys function smoothly, keeping your entire body healthy!

    Basic Protocol :
    Drink 2 glasses of warm water first thing in the morning - 30 min later, drink - Lemon water: Juice of 1 lemon with equal amount of water - after 30 min you may have Breakfast. This will prepare your body to receive and absorb nutrients. Then you may begin to drink Water 1 hour after your meal. 30 mins before every meal and 1 Hour after . Drink 4oz of Water every 30 mins to stay hydrated throughout the day

    Free Use of Water—In health and in sickness, pure water is one of heaven's choicest blessings. Its proper use promotes health. It is the beverage which God provided to quench the thirst of animals and man. Drunk freely, it helps to supply the necessities of the system and assists nature to resist disease.—The Ministry of Healing, 237 (1905).
