DIFFICULT FOR ME TO WRITE THIS
    APRIL 27, 2006

    Dear Reader,

This letter is very difficult for me to write. I really don’t know where or how to start. So I prayed to the LORD GOD ALMIGHTY that He leads me with the correct words and proper attitude and the right direction with which to have this letter flow. I pray that the Holy Spirit leads me and guides me in this letter so HIS NAME may be glorified.

Let me give you a small resume of my life. I was born Catholic and educated in their grade schools, high school and two years of Catholic college. I lived thirty six years of Catholicism before I had a relationship with GOD. I was baptized in Jesus name June of 1983 in the San Jacinto River under Highway 59 north of Houston, Texas, by Brother Tommy Hodges. I received the HOLY SPIRIT January, 1984, at Deer Park Pentecostal Church (Pastor Possey) under the evangelistic preaching of Brother Hightower.

In 1989, with the blessing of Pastor Kilgore of Life Tabernacle my wife and I left for Philadelphia, PA. GOD had us start the Jesus Name Ministries church which we have been pastoring for the past sixteen years. I never comprised on the name of Jesus.

One day this past summer (2004) my wife, Linda and I were camping. Linda went to bed and I was scanning the radio stations about mid-night on Sunday. I stopped at a station where a preacher in Georgia was preaching. In his preaching he stated that he was Apostolic and preached Acts 2:38 in a way I never heard before. Repent and be baptized every one of you in the NAME of YAHWAH Messiah for the remission of sins. This caught my attention and my anger and my curiosity. I jotted down his phone number and put it in my wallet, planning to call and investigate this strange NAME of YAHWAH.

I investigated the Philadelphia library, to my surprise; I found many scholarly Bible writers wrote on the oldest and most used NAME OF GOD. I didn’t know where this investigation was going to take me. All I know is that I love truth.

I spoke several times on the phone with this strang Yahwah preacher and his wife that were from Georgia, Jerry & Kathy Kirk. They sent me some Biblical historical materials to read and pray for the guidance of the Holy Spirit.

In our adventure for truth with these materials and the immense information from the library, I was taught some surprising facts that the Catholic Church and the Apostolic church never taught me.

    THE FOLLOWING TRUE FACTS
    ARE WHAT I FOUND

    1. YHWH (pronounced YAHWAH by all Jewish rabbis) is GOD and GOD alone.

    2. YHWH is found 6,832 times in the TANACH.

    3. Paul the Apostle always referred to the TANACH to show that YHWH was the Messiah.

    4. The TANACH is nothing more than our equivalent to the Old Testament.

    5. That the NAME of GOD, YHWH (YAHWAH) was first used in Genesis 2:4 and last used in the Old Testament Malachi 3:23.

    6. The Hebrew Apostles scriptures were stolen by a church (circa 126-136 A. D.) and translated into Greek and the original Hebrew New Testament scriptures were destroyed.

    7. Jesus is only a new name of 393 years. In the King James 1611 A.D. the NAME OF THE SAVIOR in the Christian world was Iesous. The letter ‘J’, according to Webster did not exist until after the mid-1650.

    8. A scholarly Biblical fact is that YHWH (YAHWAH) was taken out of our New English editions and hidden by only using the word LORD.

    9. Genesis 4:26 at the time of Seth men began calling on THE NAME of YHWH (YAHWAH).

    10. Genesis 12:8; 13:4, 21:33 Abram at Bethel called upon THE NAME of YHWH (YAHWAH).

    11. YHWH (pronounced YAHWAH by all Jewish rabbis) is GOD and GOD alone.

    12. Genesis 26:25 Isaac called on THE NAME of YHWH (YAHWAH).

    13. YHWH is HIS NAME and only name. Elohim (Lord of Lords) is HIS title. EL (God) is HIS title. Emmanuel GOD with us is a sentence.

    14. Exodus 6:3 GOD tells Moses HIS NAME is YHWH (YAHWAH).

    15. Deuteronomy 6:4 YHWH our GOD is ONE.

    16. Isaiah 63:16 YHWH our Father, Redeemer and HIS NAME is from everlasting.

    17. Revelation14:1 The Lamb writes THE NAME OF FATHER on their foreheads. To me, this would be water baptism in the NAME OF YHWH).

    18. Malachi 2:10 One Father, One God created us.

    19. Zechariah 14: 9 YHWH (YAHWAH) is KING, YHWH is ONE and HIS NAME ONE.

    20. Matthew 28:19 Baptize in THE NAME of the FATHER, SON and HOLY GHOST.

    21. FATHER IS YHWH (Isaiah 63:16)

    22. The SON IS YHWH Messiah. (John 5:43

    23. I come in THE NAME OF MY FATHER)

    24. The HOLY GHOST IS YHWH (John 14:26 Comforter,

    25. The Father will send in MY NAME YHWH Messiah)

    26. Acts 2:38 Repent and be baptized in THE NAME of YHWH Messiah for the remission of your sins.

Where did the Iesous or Jesus come from? It comes from Zeus - the Greek god. In Spanish Jesus is pronounced hey-Zeus. The name Jesus can’t be reconciled to be a Hebrew name.

    1. ONE GOD YHWH (YAHWAH) Deuteronomy 6:4

    2. ONE NAME YHWH (YAHWAH) Zechariah 14:9

    3. ONE SAVIOR YHWH (YAHWAH) Isaiah 43:3,11

    4. ONE REDEEMER YHWH (YAHWAH) Isaiah 44:6

    5. ONE MAKER YHWH (YAHWAH) Isaiah 54:5

    6. ONLY ONE can bear THE NAME of YHWH (YAHWAH) and it was HIS SON YAHWAH Messiah.

By the way approximately 393 years ago there was no J in the English alphabet. His name was lesous, Which is Greek, NonHebrew, MisTranslated, ManMade Inspired.

Too many people bear the names of Jesus, Joshua, Yahoshua (common names). These names could not have been THE NAME OF THE SAVIOR; HE came in THE NAME OF HIS FATHER. Jehovah and Jesus are the perverted names of GOD and not HIS TRUE NAME. YHWH only could be HIS NAME.

Thank GOD that Jesus Name Apostolic’ have the right principle of ONE GOD, one baptism and one name. But now let us receive HIS TRUE NAME YHWH (YAHWAH).

We come to GOD in a process of levels of truth, paganism to Catholism to Protestant to Trinity Holy Ghost filled to Jesus Name Apostolic to YAHWAH Apostolic.

GOD is taking a church out of a church and re-establishing HIS RIGHTFUL NAME to HIS people. Please be part of it. Out of 100 of our assembly we had 20 to receive HIM in water baptism and 80 to refuse the revelation of HIS TRUE NAME.

I lost all teachers and all musicians. But that is all right because HIS NAME is still YHWH (YAHWAH) and I am called by HIS NAME. I want to please GOD and I do not want to please man or an organization. Straight is the gate and narrow is the way and few will choose HIS NAME.

In critic of the book “In the Name of Jesus” Dr. David K. Bernard gives a very poor presentation in defense of the name Jesus. Let us go to chapter four, Dr. Bernard has no clue that there are YAHWAH Apostolics, the ONLY TRUE ONE GOD, ONE PEOPLE OF THE NAME OF YAHWAH.

Biblical scholars all recognize as truth that the TANACH (Old Testament) has THE NAME YHWH 6,832. Also agreed upon is that Jehovah is an erroneous translation of YAHWAH mixed with Adonai. If you keep this in mind then we know the GOD of the Old Testament is YHWH and because HE changes not (Malachi 3:6) we know HE is the GOD of the New Testament.

Let us talk about the name Yahoshua. Yahoshua is Hebrew and English translation is Joshua. So the Messiah, according to this knowledge should have been named in English as Joshua Christ. According to the thesis of Doctor Bernard he states on page 36 that Yahwah of the Old Testament manifested HIMSELF in the flesh to be our SAVIOR. THE SAVIOR stated in John 5:43 “I come in THE NAME OF MY FATHER.

How can GOD change HIS NAME? He cannot. The legal name of my wife is Linda, it means pretty but her name is not pretty, it is Linda. Psalm 54:1 Save me, 0 GOD, by YOUR NAME. THE NAME OF GOD is YAHWAH; we are saved by HIS NAME.

What do we not understand with this statement? Again Matthew 1:23 Emmanuel (with us is GOD) what do we not understand with this statement? I am in agreement with Doctor Bernard that YAHWAH was manifested in the flesh and that baby was called YAHWAH the Messiah, the same NAME AS HIS FATHER. Isaiah 63:16 YOU, 0 YAHWAH, are our FATHER, our redeemer, THY NAME is from everlasting. It does not say anywhere that the false name of Jesus is everlasting, only YAHWAH. The second argument of Dr. Bernard makes no sense whatsoever because in his argument he believes the Hebrew Apostles called the Messiah by the name Iesous - Jesus - Joshua. The Messiah was known as YAHWAH.
The Word Hallelujah is universal. YAHWAH is literally the same in every tongue (universal). George W. Bush is introduced as George W. Bush throughout every language and country. His legal name does not change to the language of the people. His name is the same (transliterated) in every language. THE NAME OF YAHWAH is pronounced literally and universally.

On page 37 Dr. Bernard states unequivocally the early church baptized in Jesus Name but later says that the name Jesus evolved from lesous in the Latin/Greek Hebrew. Did the Apostles say Joshua, Yahoshua, Iesous or Jesus? My GOD does not change names like we do clothes. Just what is HIS NAME for salvation? Is it Jesus, Iesous, Yahoshua, Joshua? Could it be so simple that it is YAHWAH the Messiah? Isaiah 47:4 as for our REDEEMER, YAHWAH of Armies is HIS NAME, the Holy One of Israel.

Isaiah 42:5-16 YAHWAH opened the eyes of the blind. Verse 13 YAHWAH shall go forth as a mighty Man (The Messiah). Isaiah 43:10.12 YAHWAH declares HIMSELF to be the servant (the Messiah) I, even I, am YAHWAH and beside me there is no SAVIOR.

YAHWAH is calling, “Come out of her“. Yes, GOD was merciful to save us in our ignorance even if we did not know HIS NAME. Leave that heathen man made philosophical name of Iesous, Jesus. Psalm 86:9 all nations whom thou hast made shall come and worship before thee 0 YAHWAH and shall GLORIFY THY NAME. Psalm 145:21 My mouth shall speak the praise of YAHWAH and let all flesh bless HIS HOLY NAME forever and forever.

    Thank you for your attention,

  • A TIME TO PREPARE

“So Elijah did as the LORD told him and camped beside Kerith Brook, east of the Jordan. The ravens brought him bread and meat each morning and evening, and he drank from the brook. But after a while the brook dried up, for there was no rainfall anywhere in the land.”

    —1 Kings 17:5–7

God said to the prophet Elijah, “Go to the east and hide by Kerith Brook, near where it enters the Jordan River. Drink from the brook and eat what the ravens bring you, for I have commanded them to bring you food” (1 Kings 17:3–4 NLT). At first glance, it might seem as though God was giving Elijah a vacation—some downtime for services rendered. But this was no leisurely camping trip.

The ravens didn’t take Elijah’s order, fly to the local fast-food restaurant, and then deliver his meal. Ravens are scavengers. They brought little bits of meat and bread to Elijah. What’s more, the water in the brook from which he drank would have been somewhat polluted. This wasn’t an easy situation by any stretch of the imagination.

Even if it had been, Elijah likely would have tired of it pretty quickly. Based on his biblical profile, Elijah was a man of action—confronting, challenging, moving, doing the Lord’s work. How easily he could have said, “Lord, I don’t want to be in this crummy little place, drinking river water. I like being in front of people. I like the limelight.”

But Elijah seems to have understood that the Lord was preparing him for something big, something profoundly impactful. Something that would push him to his physical, emotional, and spiritual limits. Not long after his brookside sojourn, Elijah would be standing on Mount Carmel, singlehandedly challenging hundreds of false prophets to a winner-takes-all showdown (see 1 Kings 18:20–40).

His raven-assisted stay by the brook wasn’t downtime. It was preparation time. God gave Elijah the time and space he needed to prepare himself for the battle ahead.

Sometimes we don’t like where God has put us. We say, “Lord, I don’t like this situation. I want to do something great for You. I want to make a difference in my world.” But that may be because we’re misreading our situation. We may mistake preparation time for downtime. Or may not recognize the opportunities that surround us.

Maybe the Lord wants you to be effective right where you are. Maybe He wants you to take advantage of the opportunities in front of you and be faithful in the little things. Who knows what God has in store for you?

If God has you by some muddy little brook, so to speak, just hang in there. Be faithful, do what He has already told you, and wait on Him and His timing. God will do something wonderful for you or with you. Just be available and open to do what He would have you do.

    God bless you!

Please, share these lessons with your family, friends, and 28 Beleifs # 5

    THE HOLY SPIRIT

God the eternal Spirit was active with the Father and the Son in Creation, incarnation, and redemption. He is as much a person as are the Father and the Son. He inspired the writers of Scripture. He filled Christ’s life with power. He draws and convicts human beings; and those who respond He renews and transforms into the image of God. Sent by the Father and the Son to be always with His children, He extends spiritual gifts to the church, empowers it to bear witness to Christ, and in harmony with the Scriptures leads it into all truth. groups. To enhance the Kingdom of GOD.

End of the World Predictions Gone Wrong

A 2010 Pew Research Center survey revealed that 50 percent of American Protestants believe the return of Christ would occur within the next 40 years. Even though the bible says we do not know the day or hour of Christ’s return (Matthew 24:36), people have for centuries been tempted to make such predictions anyway. Here are just some of the failed predictions through history:

    2800 BC

Assyrian clay tablet reads, “Our earth is degenerate in these latter days. There are signs that the world is speedily coming to an end.”

    AD 1000

Pope Sylvester II predicts the world will end on January 1, 1000.

    1033

Widespread belief that the 1,000th anniversary of Christ’s death would mark His return

    1284

Pope Innocent III predicts the world would end 666 years after the rise of Islam.

    1658

Columbus claims the world was created in 5343 bc and would last 7,000 years.

    1844

Baptist preacher William Miller predicts the return of Jesus sometime on October 22.

    1914

Charles Taze Russell predicts the great day of the Lord would occur in October.

    1936

How Celebrating the Sabbath Can Strengthen Your Family Relationships

What Day do You Go to Church? The Hope Channel Helped This Couple Find the Right Day

Did you know that keeping the Sabbath can help make your family stronger?

After all, it’s a time set aside by God to enjoy all that He created—from the air we breathe to the people we come in contact with each day.

By stepping away from work, school, and all the other obligations and stressors of the week, we can enter into rest and communion with God. This allows us to better connect with those around us as well.

Let’s look at exactly how Sabbath can provide the focused, quality time to build up your relationships with those you love.

Review: Why was the Sabbath created?

How is the Sabbath beneficial to families?

What did families in the Bible do to grow spiritually?

Ideas for celebrating the Sabbath with our families (and friends)

First, let’s look back at why the Sabbath was created and how it’s perfect for uniting families as they focus on God.

    WHY WAS THE SABBATH CREATED?

The Sabbath was created as a gift on the seventh day of Creation (Genesis 2:1-3). God had our well-being in mind during the first creation week. He knew how much we’d need time set apart to refresh our weary hearts and remember how much He loves us.

He also knew the importance of taking a moment to revel in the goodness of His creation. And in the beautiful relationships that are part of it.

The word “Sabbath” comes from the Hebrew word shabbat, which means to stop or pause for the purpose of rest.

At the first shabbat, right after creating the world, God stopped His work and rested on the seventh day, enjoying what He just made, as an example to us.

After a long day’s work, we’re worn out. We need physical rest from our labor. The blessing of the Sabbath restores us physically, spiritually, and emotionally:

We are able to physically rest on the Sabbath

We are able to reconnect with God by reading His word and being in His presence

Through these things, we are able to strengthen our family relationships and help fulfill one another’s emotional needs.

So let’s look more closely at exactly how the Sabbath helps us enrich our relationships, especially with our families.

HOW IS THE SABBATH BENEFICIAL TO FAMILIES?

True rest is more beneficial than we might realize. Taking time to hit pause allows us time to focus on what is truly important in life.

During the week, we tend to forget to prioritize our relationships as we get caught up in deadlines, work projects, home projects, etc.

The Sabbath helps us realign our priorities.

God knew that prearranged, set-aside time is highly beneficial for keeping relational bonds strong. Relationships need nurture. Or they can wither over time.

So it’s no surprise that families who spend more time together are stronger and happier.

In fact, time and proximity alone can be enough to spark new friendships. Consistently being in the presence of someone helps us bond in ways we aren’t even aware of, or can’t always put into words.

And each Sabbath, this can happen regularly between us and God, and between us and our loved ones.

To help us understand what this looks like, let’s see what we can find in Scripture.

WHAT DID FAMILIES IN THE BIBLE DO TO GROW SPIRITUALLY?

It’s God’s design for families to worship and pray together. We see in the book of Deuteronomy that prayer, worship, and knowledge in the Lord were encouraged to be part of an everyday regimen:

And these words that I command you today shall be on your heart.

You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise.

You shall bind them as a sign on your hand, and they shall be as frontlets between your eyes.

You shall write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates.

    Deuteronomy 6:6-9 (ESV)

For God’s people, faith is a part of their everyday lives. Parents are to teach their children the Scriptures and the commandments of God, including the Sabbath.

    Writing to Timothy, Paul says:

I am reminded of your sincere faith, a faith that dwelt first in your grandmother Lois and your mother Eunice and now, I am sure, dwells in you as well.

    2 Timothy 1:5 (ESV)

But as for you, continue in what you have learned and have firmly believed, knowing from whom you learned it and how from childhood you have been acquainted with the sacred writings, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus.

    2 Timothy 3:14, 15 (ESV)

Timothy’s mother and grandmother taught him to be a faithful follower of Christ. What a wonderful legacy to pass down to future generations.

We can learn so much from the faithful people in the Bible. We can also use the example of Jesus to learn ways to keep the Sabbath as a family.

    In the Bible, Jesus:

Rested by communing with God and others (Matthew 27:58-60)

Healed the sick (Mark 3:1; John 5:2; John 9; Luke 13)

Taught people about the love of God (Matthew 12:19; Mark 1:21; Mark 6:2)

Spent quality time with/shared meals with loved ones (Matthew 12; Luke 14:1)

We can use these activities as starting points for other ideas. Participating in things that align with Jesus’ actions on the Sabbath can restore our family relationships and bring us closer to our Heavenly Father.

IDEAS TO CELEBRATE SABBATH WITH YOUR FAMILY

Keeping the Sabbath is really about spending your time focusing on those things in life that really matter. Try planning activities on the Sabbath that can bring you closer to God and your family.

Creating family traditions for the Sabbath can help make the day something to enjoy and look forward to. It can also create stronger bonds between us and God.

Some of these traditions can revolve around:

    Preparing for the Sabbath

    Beginning the Sabbath

    Enjoying Sabbath meals

Spending quality time with God, each other, and fellow believers

Let’s explore each of these in detail to help us find ways to strengthen our families.

    #1 Preparing for the Sabbath

    Sabbath preparation will help you:

Anticipate the Sabbath and feel more rested

Bond through working together on shared tasks

First of all, observing the Sabbath is so much easier when you don’t have to worry about things like:

    What you will all eat

    If the house is clean

If you have the things on hand you’ll need for the weekend

Preparing your home for the Sabbath is the first step in making sure you’re able to truly rest. It’s easy to still feel stressed if your environment is still messy or full of half-done projects.

Secondly, participating in preparation activities is a great way to spend quality time together. Doing cooperative tasks ensures that everyone plays a part in making Sabbath special.

Here are some ways you can work together to prepare before Sabbath day so that it can be as restful as possible:

    Cleaning the house

Filling the gas tanks in your vehicles

    Grocery shopping

    Planning your Sabbath menu

    Preparing food ahead of time

Choosing what you’ll wear to church

Shopping for items you need for the weekend

Switch things up each week, too, if you feel like that might help. For example, one week, the children of the household can plan the menu and help with grocery shopping, and on another week they can help with preparing the house.

Or, each week your family can decide on a certain part of the house to add some Sabbath decoration to, like Sabbath candles, a framed Bible verse, a special table setting, or a reminder of God’s creation, like a bouquet of wildflowers that you picked together.

These are just some examples of how Sabbath preparation can involve all members of the family. When we work together, we nourish our relationships and look forward to the restfulness of the end result: the Sabbath.

When it comes to your family, you know each other best. You might come up with all kinds of things you’ll look forward to doing (or not doing!) each week as you prepare for Sabbath.

    #2 Beginning the Sabbath

Each member can play a part in greeting the Sabbath each Friday evening and making it special.

For some ideas on how to do that, a few Jewish traditions for Sabbath observance can give us a fun starting point with a biblical basis.

Since the Sabbath begins at sundown, some people light “Sabbath candles,” and a member of the family chooses a passage to read from the Bible.

You can make this specific to your family by letting each member share their favorite Bible verse or singing a praise song together.

Also, instead of greeting people with a “hello” like every other day of the week, try greeting each other with “Happy Sabbath!”

    #3 Enjoying Sabbath Meals

One of the best ways to bond with people is over food, right? So it would only make sense to make Sabbath meals a special time to enjoy together.

A special meal on Friday night and Saturday afternoon is a wonderful way to relax and enjoy your favorite things while you celebrate the Sabbath.

To make it even more special, you can make your own food traditions to become part of your Sabbath celebration.

Maybe Friday night you always serve soup with Jewish Challah bread.

Or perhaps you make your favorite homemade pizza. Or make fresh lemonade.

Of course, you don’t have to have the same kind of food each week for Sabbath. It’s really all about making the day meaningful for your family and spending time together. Match your traditions to what your family enjoys.

(But a word of caution: Be careful not to let the traditions become more important than the fellowship—or your health! If, over time, some things become stressful or tiresome to maintain, or if they just lose some of their original excitement, remember that the priority is restful, bonding, God-focused time. No need to put too much pressure on yourself or your family.)

    #4 SPECIAL SABBATH ACTIVITIES

Setting aside special activities to reserve for Sabbath can help you spend time with God, serve others, and spend meaningful time with your family.

To start, ask your family what activities they think would be fun to do on Sabbath. (These could possibly become the Sabbath traditions or rituals you grow to enjoy and remember.) Even brainstorming these traditions together can be an activity in and of itself!

For instance: Perhaps your family would like to wake up early on Sabbath morning for breakfast together or for a nature walk.

Or, maybe you pre-make a delicious breakfast together the day before, so you can all sleep in!

Or maybe you decide to volunteer somewhere together, like a soup kitchen, a nursing home, a children’s home, a community service center, etc.

Get creative and work together to plan for making Sabbath special each week.

But always remember that Sabbath’s real blessing is about enjoying God’s creation and spending time with those He gave us in our families.

Sabbath does not have to become all about how creative of an activity can you come up with, or how many things you can do that are uniquely for the Sabbath, etc.

This special day is also made to restore our souls. Some weeks, you may not feel like doing anything!

And that might be just what you and your family need. Some Sabbaths can be celebrated by embracing shabbat, by stopping everything else and just relaxing together, enjoying one another’s company, thanking God for this opportunity.

  • The Advent Truth.
Another day, another “we figured out the exact date of the rapture” prediction.

    This time?
    May 26 at 9am.

And once again, it directly contradicts the plain words of Jesus Christ.

“But of that day and hour knoweth no man…” — Matthew 24:36

    Notice Jesus didn’t say:
“No man knows UNLESS they crack the code online.”

    He said NO MAN.

I absolutely believe we are living near the end. The signs are everywhere. Christ IS coming soon. But there is a massive difference between:
    Believing Jesus is coming soon
    and
Pretending God gave you the exact date and time.

Date-setting has damaged countless people spiritually throughout history.

    People panic.
    People make irrational decisions.
People lose faith when predictions fail.
    And unbelievers mock Christianity afterward.

This has happened over and over:

    * Harold Camping
    * Jehovah’s Witness predictions
    * Blood moon hysteria
    * Endless failed rapture countdowns

Yet people still fall for it.

And here’s another uncomfortable truth many don’t realize:

The secret rapture doctrine itself is not taught in Scripture. It’s a manmade doctrine that became popular through futurist theology promoted by Jesuit counter-reformation teachers and later spread widely through evangelicalism.

The Bible never teaches a secret disappearance of Christians years before Christ visibly returns.

    Revelation 1:7
    “Every eye shall see him.”

    1 Thessalonians 4:16
“The Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout…”

    Matthew 24:27
“As the lightning cometh out of the east…”

Nothing about Christ’s coming is secret.

The Bible doesn’t tell us to build countdown clocks. It tells us to be READY.

    Matthew 24:42
    “Watch therefore…”

The wise virgins in Matthew 25 were ready because they had oil in their lamps — symbolizing the Holy Spirit — not because they knew the date.

You do not need someone online telling you the world ends at 9am to know it’s time to surrender your life to Christ.

The issue is whether your heart is right with God TODAY.

Because one day Jesus really IS coming back.

And most of the world will not be prepared.

  • THROWBACK THURSDAY - Fifteen years ago today was supposed to be Judgment Day according to radio broadcaster Harold Camping. I first found out about this the year before when one of his followers in New York City tried giving me this brochure. After that date came and went, Camping postponed his prediction to five months later. Fortunately, he apologized for his false prophecies before passing away. Jesus Himself doesn’t know the day and hour the Father will tell Him to go get His bride (Matthew 24:36). So don’t believe anyone who claims he knows the exact time when the church will be raptured. Just be ready!

  • My calling to serve the Lord. When I was 16, I went camping outside the city with my younger brother and six other friends. But we went against our mother's wishes, who strongly opposed our going out for three days. Eventually, our father gave permission and the money, and we set off.

The first evening, we were in the dark forest chatting and drinking cognac and wine. After a while, everyone was tired and almost all went to sleep in their tents. But two stayed outside because there wasn't enough room for them in the two shacks. They rekindled the fire, which had already gone out. Suddenly, I couldn't hear their voices anymore. I heard strange whispers, and when I poked my head out to check what was happening, I saw a man in a balaclava with a gun and two others with their heads covered, carrying a large knife and a flashlight. He ordered us to leave the tents. They ransacked all our belongings. They took everything of value. One of them wanted to kill us. We had a tough time. At that moment, shivering with cold and fear, I prayed to God: may they take everything except our lives. If I had escaped with my brother alive, I would have tried to change my way of life. I didn't know exactly how, but I would have tried to figure out how. Those men had already left, threatening to shoot us if we had looked at them as they fled. Early the next morning, we bathed in the waterfall, chatted for a while, and then left. I remained traumatized for a week by what had happened. It only ended when I accepted Jesus. I did so at an evangelistic campaign at my friend's house, who was also camping with me. He had already converted three days earlier at his own house, too. And on the evening of May 9, 1997, I raised my hand and accepted Jesus.

Almost 29 years have passed, but what happened remains very clear in my memory. It was the turning point that made all the difference in my life. Soli Deo Gloriam!

    A Prophet You Can Trust.

    March 25th, 2026

By the early 2000s, Harold Camping’s Christian radio network blanketed the United States, his nightly “Open Forum” question-and- answer program a staple for many listeners.

But Camping, a civil engineer by training who’d owned and sold a construction business in Oakland, California, started to dwell on one theme: Having done the calculations, he was convinced— there was no room for doubt—that Jesus would return on May 21, 2011, to “rapture” the church. When that didn’t happen, he reset the date for five months later.

If you’re reading this on Earth, you can figure out what happened: The second “prophecy” also failed. Some of Camping’s followers, who’d sold their homes and businesses to finance a final witness before the world ended, were disillusioned. His radio network collapsed, and Camping died in 2013, a footnote in Christian history.

Jesus, as a prophet raised up by God, is, of course, far different from the false, date-setting prophets of human history. After Jesus fed the five thousand and the disciples gathered twelve baskets of leftovers, “those men, when they had seen the sign that Jesus did, said, ‘This is truly the Prophet who is to come into the world’ ” (John 6:14).

Many of Jesus’ prophecies about the future have been fulfilled—as in the case of the destruction of Jerusalem. Some of them have yet to be fulfilled, such as the final destruction of the wicked. He gave His followers “the testimony of Jesus,” which “is the spirit of prophecy,” as we read in Revelation 19:10.

There have been—and sadly there still are—people who claim the prophetic mantle but whose predictions fail, sometimes spectacularly. However, that’s not the case with Jesus. He is a prophet you can trust, and He is a prophet who loves you and wants to save you.

    Apply It:

Study Jesus’ prophecies—especially the “Olivet Discourse” found in Matthew 24—to gain an insight into what our future holds.

I will raise them up a Prophet from among their brethren, like unto thee, and will put my words in his mouth; and he shall speak unto them all that I shall command him. (Deuteronomy 18:18 KJV)

    Eternal Love.

    February 24th, 2026

A couple from Texas ended life together the same way they began their relationship 62 years earlier—holding hands. Thomas and Delma Ledbetter died less than ninety minutes apart in a nursing home where they were brought when both of them became ill. Staff pushed their two beds together and Thomas reached over and grabbed his wife’s hand.

Their two daughters said their parents loved to travel the country and go camping together. Tom first held Delma’s hand on their first date. They never wanted to be apart. Family members shared, “Their love was a testimony to many, and was surely a match made in heaven.”

There’s an even deeper bond of unity within the Godhead. While Jesus was dying on the cross, He cried out, “My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me?” (Mark 15:34). Christ suffered from a broken heart when sin separated Him from the Father. Sin breaks our connection with God as Jesus experienced when He willingly took our sins upon Himself and died in our place. Christ’s separation from His Father killed Him.

We have little comprehension of how the death of Jesus affected the reciprocal love relationship within the Godhead. For all time the Father, the Son, and the Spirit had been united. They were co-eternal, co-existent, and expressed unselfish love and devotion far beyond what we can understand. John writes that Jesus “was in the beginning with God” (John 1:2).

Father, Son, and Spirit are all divine and are all God. Human organizations put final authority into the hands of one person—a president or chairperson. The Godhead share their divine qualities while each is still completely God. Together they are one in authority and purpose. The love between a devoted husband and wife only gives us a tiny glimpse of the loving relationship that exists within the Trinity.

    Apply It:

Think about a happily married couple who exhibit the qualities of loving oneness.
