• “But while in deep distress, Manasseh sought the Lord his God and sincerely humbled himself before the God of his ancestors. And when he prayed, the Lord listened to him and was moved by his request. So the Lord brought Manasseh back to Jerusalem and to his kingdom. Then Manasseh finally realized that the Lord alone is God!”
    2 Chronicles 33:12-13 NLT

Good morning and praise God. I hope you're having a great day. Hallelujah.

As I was reading the story of King Manasseh, I almost got angry with him. This is how it goes “Manasseh was twelve years old when he became king, and he reigned in Jerusalem fifty-five years. He did what was evil in the Lord’s sight, following the detestable practices of the pagan nations that the Lord had driven from the land ahead of the Israelites. ” 2 Chronicles 33:1-2 NLT . I had began judging them who names their children Manasseh until I got to the end of this story.

Manasseh really tried the patience of God by doing all kinds of sinful things he would think of. You can read in details to confirm that. His story begins like for this person who cannot be saved and serve God. “Manasseh also sacrificed his own sons in the fire in the valley of Ben-Hinnom. He practiced sorcery, divination, and witchcraft, and he consulted with mediums and psychics. He did much that was evil in the Lord’s sight, arousing his anger.” 2 Chronicles 33:6 NLT God then allowed his enemies to take him captive to Babylon. Against all odds, against all our expectations for this 'great transgressor, he cried to God in his troubles. Did God hear his prayer? Did God answer him?Does God hear and answer our prayers when we have by our own choice rebelled against Him?

Our verse today tell us that in that distress, this man who had almost never considered true living God cried to Him. God listened to him and was moved by his request. God then restored him back to kingship! My version says "Manasseh finally realized that the Lord alone is God!" What a miracle, what great mercy and grace from our God. It was finally just as it happened to wise King Solomon. Finally when Solomon was old he would again speak wisdom that resounds to eternity and see life as God meant it to be. Manasseh too realized who God was after wasting his life even his own children that he sacrificed like the pagans.

Take a moment and reflect on several things that you feel that God is not happy about them and you've kept doing them. Think about that secret feeling that maybe God is not answering your prayer because he got a huge record of your sins somewhere in the book of death. Then remember this story of Manasseh. See how God listened to his prayer yet he had lived making no prayer to God but rather following dark powers of this world even sacrificing his own sons in fire which we might equite to them who abort. God is right here with you brethren. He is talking to you about his love for you. God is love and love does not keep record of wrongs 1 Cor 3:5 . Hallelujah . God is a loving Father to you and me and looks forward to welcome us back home even if we had left led by our own pride, rebellion and love of this world. God is not like our fathers in this world who might be overwhelmed with our sins and disown us. There's nothing that can separate you from love of God. You just need to sincerely realize how much harm you're causing yourself by living in sin or double standard life. Take a moment and reflect and ask God to talk to you and transform your life to obey him.

“Therefore, say to the people, ‘This is what the Lord of Heaven’s Armies says: Return to me, and I will return to you, says the Lord of Heaven’s Armies.’ ” Zechariah 1:3 NLT

God loves you, have a blessed day. Shalom. Shalom.

  • BE STILL. TRUST GOD. BE FAITHFUL WITH WHAT HE HAS GIVEN YOU.

“Be still, and know that I am God.” — Psalm 46:10 (ESV)

Sometimes, we become so focused on the blessings we are waiting for that we forget to thank God for the blessings already in our hands. We pray for the next open door while overlooking the provision, opportunities, and lessons God has given us today.

But faith is not just about waiting for God to do something new. It’s also about being faithful with what He has already entrusted to us.

    LEARN TO TRUST HIS TIMING.

Not every season is meant for rushing forward. Some seasons are for prayer, preparation, spiritual growth, discernment, and learning to depend more fully on Jesus Christ.

Ecclesiastes 3:1 reminds us that there is a time for everything and a season for every activity under heaven.

We must learn to appreciate where God has us today while trusting Him with where He is leading us tomorrow.

    GRATITUDE BEFORE GREATER RESPONSIBILITY.

Before asking God for more, let us faithfully steward what we have already received.

Before becoming anxious about what has not happened, let us thank Him for what He has provided.

Before seeking every answer from people, let us seek the Lord through prayer and His Word.

Colossians 3:17 reminds us to do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him.

A GENTLE REMINDER ABOUT PATIENCE AND RESPECT.

We all have responsibilities, commitments, and seasons that require our time, prayer, and discernment. We cannot always respond to every request immediately, and a delayed response does not automatically mean a lack of love, concern, or willingness to serve.

We must learn to extend grace to one another, respect one another’s responsibilities, and avoid placing unnecessary pressure on others.

Even in ministry, we need wisdom to recognize what God is asking us to do now, what requires preparation, and what must be entrusted to Him in prayer.

We are called to serve faithfully, not to carry the burden of being everyone’s source of provision.

TO EVERY PASTOR, MINISTRY LEADER, AND SERVANT OF CHRIST:

If God has placed a vision in your heart, continue seeking Him for wisdom, direction, provision, and discernment.

Pray over the vision. Study His Word. Remain faithful in the responsibilities already entrusted to you. Seek godly counsel, and allow the Lord to direct your steps.

Remember: God is the source. Jesus is the center. We are His servants.

No individual is the ultimate source of your calling, provision, or direction. God can use people to encourage, support, and strengthen one another, but our dependence must ultimately remain on Him.

At Grace Sent Ministries, our desire is to point people toward Jesus Christ, encourage biblical discipleship, and serve according to His will—not to make people dependent on us.

We must be willing to follow God’s leading, even when His timing differs from our expectations.

    SCRIPTURE TO REMEMBER

Psalm 46:10 — Be still and know that He is God.

Matthew 6:33 — Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness.

Proverbs 3:5–6 — Trust in the Lord with all your heart and acknowledge Him in all your ways.

Galatians 6:9 — Do not grow weary in doing good.

Philippians 4:11–13 — Learn contentment in every circumstance through Christ who strengthens us.

A PRAYER FOR MINISTRIES AND GOD-GIVEN VISIONS

Heavenly Father, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, guide every pastor, ministry leader, evangelist, and servant who is seeking to fulfill Your will.

Give us wisdom to discern Your direction, patience to trust Your timing, humility to receive correction, and grateful hearts that recognize Your daily provision.

Lord, establish the work that aligns with Your will. Open the doors You desire to open, close those that should remain closed, and teach us to remain faithful while we wait.

Provide for ministries according to Your purposes. Unite Your people in truth and love, strengthen those who are weary, and keep our hearts free from pride, impatience, comparison, and unnecessary pressure.

Teach us to respect one another’s responsibilities and to serve without losing sight of the responsibilities You have already entrusted to us.

May every vision bring glory to Jesus Christ—not to human recognition or personal ambition. Let the Gospel be proclaimed, disciples be made, and Your truth be shared in love.

Help us remember that we are responsible for obedience, but the results belong to You.

In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

A FINAL REMINDER FROM GRACE SENT

We do not have to rush ahead of God to prove our faithfulness.

We do not have to meet every expectation placed upon us to demonstrate our love.

We do not have to become someone’s source when God alone is the ultimate source.

Our calling is to love God, love others, walk in obedience to His Word, serve faithfully, and trust Him with the outcome.

Be thankful for today’s blessings. Be faithful with today’s responsibilities. Be patient in today’s season. And keep your eyes fixed on Jesus.

One day at a time. One act of obedience at a time. One Gospel. One mission.

A Scripture note: Psalm 46:10, Matthew 6:33, and Proverbs 3:5–6 support the central message of trusting God and seeking Him first. The statements about boundaries and ministry responsibilities are practical applications of Christian wisdom, rather than direct quotations or commands from those passages.

May this message encourage ministry leaders while communicating your boundaries with grace, humility, and truth.

  • Good evening, brethren.

    1. Evening devotion for today.

    ED.i. *DAILY WALK WITH CHRIST*
    (COCIN DEVOTIONAL)

    *DATE:*
    TUESDAY 13TH OCTOBER, 2026.

    *SUB-THEME* :
    BENEFITS OF GRACE.

    *TOPIC:*
    FORGIVENESS.

    *TEXTS:*
    EPHESIANS 1:7-10, COLOSSIANS 1:13-14.

    *EPHESIANS 1:7-10* .
    7. In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God’s grace
    8. that He lavished on us. With all wisdom and understanding,
    9. He made known to us the mystery of His will according to His good pleasure, which He purposed in Christ,
    10. to be put into effect when the times reach their fulfillment—to bring unity to all things in heaven and on earth under Christ.

    *COLOSSIANS 1:13-14* .
    13. For He has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son He loves,
    14. in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.

    *TOPIC:*
    FORGIVENESS.

    *THE MESSAGE* :
Forgiveness is an intentional decision to release anger and the desire for revenge. The fall of man did not only make him guilty of sin but placed him under the domain of darkness and condemnation. Sin erected a barrier between man and God. However, Christ, the Lamb of God, died as an atoning sacrifice for the forgiveness of sin. Just as God rescued His people from slavery in Egypt (Ex. 6:6), so He now delivered us from the domain of darkness and condemnation (Acts 26:18). "Blessed is he whose transgressions are forgiven... whose sin the Lord does not count against him" (Ps. 32:1-2). Those that are forgiven are now united in Christ. They now love as Christ loves without holding any grudge against anyone. Is your sin forgiven? Then, do not return to it again.

    *REFLECTION:*
    Cherish forgiveness.

    *PRAYER:*
I thank You, Lord, for forgiving my sins. Amen.

    *MEMORY VERSE FOR THE MONTH:*
    TITUS 2:11.
For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men.

    *TODAY'S BIBLE READING PLAN:*
    MARK 8-1 0.

    ED.ii. THE SCARLET CORD

"This oath you made us swear will not be binding on us unless, when we enter the land, you have tied this scarlet cord in the window through which you let us down, and unless you have brought your father and mother, your brothers and all your family into your house." - Joshua 2:17-18

Rahab was a prostitute and lived in Jericho. Joshua was on his way to take the city, just as God had commanded him. Joshua sent two spies to the city of Jericho to explore it. The king of Jericho heard about this and sent men to search for these two spies. Rahab took the spies into her house, not to sleep with them, but because she feared the God of Israel. She hid them on the roof.

The two spies made an oath to Rahab. They told her to hang the red cord from the window. It was the same cord she had used to let the spies down the wall to so they could flee. The red cord was the sign that she lived in that house and that would secure her and her family's life. Although she was a prostitute, she did exactly what the men told her because she believed in the God of these spies.

A small act with major consequences

It was not just a rope, no it was a scarlet cord. Not blue, yellow or brown, but a red cord. We see obedience to God in the small things. 'To obey is better than sacrifice, and to heed is better than the fat of rams' (1 Samuel 15:22).

Rahab might have thought: why should this cord be red? Many people today think: why do you necessarily have to accept Jesus to be saved? Do not forget that this small act by Rahab would have major consequences. Her life and that of her family were at stake. Rahab did not understand the important symbolic meaning of the red cord. Yet she did what she was told.

The red cord stands for the shed blood of Jesus. And just as trusting the red cord became Rahab's salvation, so is faith in the shed blood of Jesus our salvation.

    2. Evening Prayer for today.

    EP.i. Evening Prayer

So teach [us] to number our days, that we may apply [our] hearts unto wisdom. ⏤ Psalm 90:12

Prayer makes a godly man, and puts within him the mind of Christ, the mind of humility, of self-surrender, of service, of pity, and of prayer. ⏤ E.M. Bounds

Evening has come again, O God, and we gather back at Your feet. You’ve kept us safe through the day and given us many blessings. We’re grateful to You for all of them. Help us hold onto every good thing that’s come to us today—the good thoughts that have warmed our hearts, the gentle impressions from our friends, and all that’s come to us through books or nature. Teach us to value our days so that we may gain wisdom from the experiences we go through. We want to grow wiser with each passing day. So we ask You to teach us everything we need to learn from this day before it ends.

We remember our friends tonight. Some of them may be anxious or struggling with temptation. We pray that they will experience the holy things of life. We may not be able to help them much, but we can pray for them, and You can reach down and help them in true, wise, and holy ways. We place all our dear ones in Your care, trusting You to do what is best. Lead them on paths of Your choosing.

We also lift up the world before You. It’s lost in sin. Above us is the heavenly city, but all around us is darkness, with dangers ready to harm and destroy us. We pray tonight for the lost, asking You to have mercy on them and save them. Show us where they are and send us out to find them, so that we may carry Your blessing to them in Your name. Bless us as we go to sleep, and give us Your protection and Fatherly blessing. We ask all this through Jesus Christ. Amen.

  • Good morning to everyone. Grace and Peace be with you.

Last night at the prayer meeting, while we were just chatting, I explained that when I first retired, I was sleeping until 8-830 every day. The sunlight would be fighting to get through my blackout curtains to wake me up. Now, that the sun does not wake up until 8-830, I am usually awake around 6-630 and still going to bed around 10-11. However, I am waking up refreshed and ready for the day. EXCEPT … today, today I woke up to a text message at 7:50. I really slept in. I guess that second swig of NyQuil last night knocked me out-out. And, of course, now I feel like I am running behind because I am normally on my second or third cup of coffee by now. It is going to be a fun day.

The last three days have been diligent writing days. I have nearly 10K words done of the next book. It is developing quickly. I only knew the beginning. I did not know how He was going to integrate the old characters with the new. I have had a couple of instant ideas of integration, but that was not and is not His plan. I am eager to see what He has in store. But this book is a blast. Almost as fun as the food fight.

The weather outside is absolutely wonderful. Part of me wishes I were in the shed with the door open, writing, but the other part is happy that, at least this morning, it is an errand-running day. I get to be out in it and enjoy it. Hopefully, this atmosphere will continue throughout the day.

Last night I started a course on how to build my business. My Authorship business. A lot of what I learned, I knew … but I just do not understand the right way to implement it. I did a bible study long ago by Rick ? called The Purpose Driven Life. In that, he challenged us to ask how people saw us … but only if we really wanted to know. That question tends to catch people off guard when you are face to face. But I was genuinely curious how I was seen. I wanted to grow. I ended up with a lot of the polite answers. This business model class that I am taking, it talks about Personal Brand. It dives deep into the ideas of what people see in us. The assignment for this class was to ask that kind of question on our social media page. I did this last night and have gotten two responses … from family and friends. But in the ‘polite’ responses from the past, and the new responses last night, it tells me that I am doing what I wanted to do … set the example and live like He wants me to live. The instructor called herself … Unapologetically Christian. I like that title.

Today, as you are going through your day, I challenge you to pick random people and ask them how they see you. Do they see an Unapologetic Christian, or do they see a Pharisee? I know that I can be both. That is why I like this exercise … it reminds me to put Him first.

    Be blessed.

  • 2 Corinthians 4:13-18
And since we have the same spirit of faith, according to what is written, "I believed and therefore I spoke," we also believe and therefore speak, [14] knowing that He who raised up the Lord Jesus will also raise us up with Jesus, and will present us with you. [15] For all things are for your sakes, that grace, having spread through the many, may cause thanksgiving to abound to the glory of God. [16] Therefore we do not lose heart. Even though our outward man is perishing, yet the inward man is being renewed day by day. [17] For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, is working for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory, [18] while we do not look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporary, but the things which are not seen are eternal.

  • 1 Corinthians 6:9-11 NASB
"Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived; neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor those habitually drunk, nor verbal abusers, nor swindlers, will inherit the kingdom of God. Such 𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗲 some of you; 𝗯𝘂𝘁 you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and in the Spirit of our God."

It is so simple, wisdom can't see it. It takes a revelation. Let me help you.

Yes, breaking the commandments disqualifies mankind from receiving eternal life. Here's the thing... we are all wrong doers. We all break the commandments. Jesus even said that no one is good (Mark 10:18).

    You sin.
    I sin.
    We all sin.
That's why we need a savior.
    Even believers still sin.
That's why we needed someone to pay the sin debt we couldn't pay for ourselves; so great is our depravity.

There is good news though for all who believe, for all who have placed their faith in Jesus and his FINISHED work at the cross as being sufficient for our salvation.

    Romans 6:14 NASBS
"For sin shall not be master over you, for you are not under law but under grace."

    Now look

    Romans 4:7-8 NASB
“Blessed are those whose lawless deeds have been forgiven, And whose sins have been covered. [8] “𝗕𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗶𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗺𝗮𝗻 𝘄𝗵𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝘀𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗟𝗼𝗿𝗱 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝘁𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗼 𝗮𝗰𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁.”

We under grace are free indeed, just as Jesus promised.

If our 𝗹𝗮𝘄𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗱𝗲𝗲𝗱𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗴𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗻, our 𝘀𝗶𝗻𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗱, and the Lord will 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗶𝗺𝗽𝘂𝘁𝗲 𝘀𝗶𝗻 to us, then what can ever separate us from the love of God and break the relationship? God will never… never… unadopt his children. That is why it's called ETERNAL life.

    Look now

    𝗹𝗮𝘄𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗱𝗲𝗲𝗱𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗴𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗻

    Past sins

    our 𝘀𝗶𝗻𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗱

    Current sins

    Will 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗶𝗺𝗽𝘂𝘁𝗲 𝘀𝗶𝗻

    Future sins

Does this liberty in Christ make us want to sin all the more so that grace will abound all the more?? Paul answered that question over 2,000 years ago with an emphatic, “God forbid!“

Grace doesn’t cause us to sin even more. Grace teaches us how to finally live right.

    Look

    Titus 2:11-12 NASB
For the 𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗰𝗲 of God has appeared, bringing salvation to all people, 𝗶𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘂𝘀 to deny ungodliness and worldly desires and to live sensibly, righteously, and 𝗶𝗻 𝗮 𝗴𝗼𝗱𝗹𝘆 𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗿 in the present age,"

Meanwhile, the law actually stirs up sin.

    Romans 7:8 NASB
But sin, taking an opportunity 𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁, produced in me coveting of every kind; for apart from the Law sin is dead.

    Jesus is the answer.
Jesus paid for what we could never make right.
The commandments are NOT the answer.
They can't save us. They only condemn us.

That is the purpose of the law; to show us our guilt and to point us to Jesus for our salvation. The law never saved anybody. It only condemns them. Why? Because we break it.

BUT, praise God, we believers aren't even under the law. We are under grace. The blood of Jesus washed us clean when we came to the cross and believed, and his blood goes on cleansing us. We believers cannot be held accountable to the law, because we aren't even under it anymore.

Yes, it is true that "the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God," but we believers have the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus.

    2 Corinthians 5:21 NASB
"He made Him who knew no sin to be sin in our behalf, so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him."

There can be no better righteousness than that!

    We are forgiven.
    We are redeemed.
    We are justified.
    We are sanctified.
We are heaven bound despite our failures.
It no longer depends upon us.
It depends upon our being baptized in the blood of Christ. The power and effectiveness of Jesus' blood lasts forever and evermore.

We were once dead in our sins, but we are born again, and we have eternal life. Hallelujah

  • TUESDAY MORNING FAMILY PRAYER!

“LORD, COVER OUR FAMILIES, SAVE OUR SOULS, HEAL OUR BODIES, AND BLESS THE WORK OF OUR HANDS!”

    Heavenly Father,

On this blessed Tuesday morning, we come before Your throne of grace with thanksgiving, praise, and grateful hearts! Lord, we thank You for waking us up this morning, for Your mercy that is new every day, and for Your faithfulness toward our families. You have kept us through dangers seen and unseen, and for that, we say THANK YOU, JESUS!

Father, we lift up every member of our families before You today!

LORD, WE PRAY FOR SALVATION! Touch the hearts of our loved ones who do not know You as their personal Lord and Savior. Remove spiritual blindness, soften hardened hearts, and draw them into a saving relationship with Jesus Christ. Your Word declares in Acts 16:31 (KJV), “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.” Lord, let salvation come to our households!

LORD, WE PRAY FOR PHYSICAL AND MENTAL HEALING! We lift up those battling sickness, chronic pain, depression, anxiety, emotional distress, and mental exhaustion. Father, restore their strength, renew their minds, and give them peace in the middle of their struggles. Your Word declares in Jeremiah 30:17 (KJV), “For I will restore health unto thee, and I will heal thee of thy wounds, saith the LORD.” Lord, touch every hurting body, troubled mind, and wounded heart!

LORD, WE PRAY OVER OUR FINANCES! Teach us to be faithful stewards over what You have already entrusted to us. Help us manage the little with wisdom, discipline, and integrity so that when increase comes, we will remain faithful over much. Your Word declares in Luke 16:10 (KJV), “He that is faithful in that which is least is faithful also in much.” Father, remove the spirit of wastefulness, teach us contentment, and give us wisdom to make sound financial decisions.

LORD, WE PRAY FOR EMPLOYMENT AND INCREASE! Open doors of opportunity for family members seeking employment. Bless them with jobs that provide stability, benefits, and the ability to care for their households. For those already employed, we pray for salary increases, promotions, recognition, and new opportunities for advancement. Let their diligence and faithfulness be rewarded according to Your will. Your Word declares in Philippians 4:19 (KJV), “But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.”

Father, remind us that our jobs are resources, but YOU, LORD JESUS, ARE OUR SOURCE! Our confidence is not in a paycheck, an employer, or the economy, but in You, our faithful Provider!

LORD, WE LIFT UP OUR INCARCERATED FAMILY MEMBERS! Father, wherever they are, let Your presence reach them. Protect their minds, bodies, and spirits. Give them hope where there is hopelessness, peace where there is fear, and repentance where there is wrongdoing. Break destructive cycles, restore broken relationships, and help them discover their purpose in You. Your Word declares in John 8:36 (KJV), “If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.” Lord, even behind prison walls, let them experience the freedom that comes through Jesus Christ!

FATHER, WE PLACE OUR ENTIRE FAMILIES INTO YOUR HANDS! Cover our homes, marriages, children, grandchildren, parents, and loved ones. Strengthen our faith, unite our hearts, and help us trust You in every season.

Lord, we may not know what this Tuesday holds, BUT WE KNOW WHO HOLDS OUR FUTURE!

We surrender our plans, our needs, our burdens, and our desires to You. Not our will, but Your will be done!

WE DECLARE THAT JESUS CHRIST IS OUR SAVIOR, OUR HEALER, OUR PROVIDER, OUR PROTECTOR, AND OUR PEACE!

We give You all the glory, honor, and praise!

IN THE MIGHTY, MATCHLESS, AND POWERFUL NAME OF JESUS CHRIST, WE PRAY!

    AMEN AND AMEN! 🏿

“But as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.” — Joshua 24:15 (KJV)

    THE CROSS OF CALVARY

THE CROSS: THE POWER OF A NEW LIFE

    BIBLE TEXT: 2 CORINTHIANS 5:14–21

    KEY VERSE:

“Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.” — 2 Corinthians 5:17 (KJV)

    REFLECTION

The cross of Jesus Christ is not only a symbol of His suffering; it is the foundation of our new life in Him. Through His death and resurrection, Christ made a way for us to be reconciled to God.

When we come to Jesus in repentance and faith, He begins to transform our hearts and lives. Our old sinful ways must no longer control us. We are called to walk in holiness, love, forgiveness, and obedience to God's Word.

Being a new creature does not mean we will never face temptation or struggle. It means that we now belong to Christ and must depend on His grace to grow and live according to His will.

Let the power of the cross be seen in your character, your words, your relationships, and your daily decisions.

    LESSON FOR TODAY

The cross calls us to leave our old ways behind and live a transformed life that honours Jesus Christ.

    THOUGHT FOR TODAY

If Christ has made you new, let your daily life reflect the change He has begun in you.

    PRAYER

Lord Jesus, thank You for Your sacrifice on the cross. Thank You for reconciling me to the Father and giving me the opportunity for a new life. Forgive my sins, renew my heart, and help me turn away from anything that displeases You. Let Your love and holiness be seen in my life every day. In Jesus Christ's name, Amen.

FURTHER BIBLE READING: Romans 6:4–11; Galatians 2:20; Ephesians 4:22–24; Colossians 3:1–10.
