🕊️ DOMINION DAILY DEVOTION ~ DAY 250 DATE: 7TH SEPTEMBER 2026 TOPIC: THE HEART OF GIVING_1 ANCHOR SCRIPTURE:2 CORINTHIANS 8:5 (NKJV) “And not only as we had hoped, but they first gave themselves to the Lord, and then to us by the will of God.” Devotional message: When Apostle Paul commended the churches of Macedonia for their generosity, their giving was not measured by the abundance of what they possessed but by the condition of their hearts. The Bible tells us that they were experiencing a great trial of affliction and deep poverty, yet their joy was abundant and their generosity exceeded what might have been expected from their circumstances. Their circumstances did not determine their attitude. Their poverty did not steal their joy, and their lack did not prevent them from being generous. They gave willingly, sacrificially, lovingly, and sincerely. Their giving was not merely a response to what they had; it was a reflection of who they had become in Christ. This should challenge us as believers. Our attitude, joy, generosity, and willingness to participate in God's work should not be determined entirely by what we are going through. There will be seasons of abundance and seasons of little, but our hearts should remain anchored in God. However, Paul also brings balance to this teaching. He was not asking believers to give in such a way that they would be unnecessarily burdened while others were relieved. Giving should be according to what one has, not according to what one does not have (2 Corinthians 8:12–13). God is not looking for irresponsible giving; He desires willing hearts that give according to their ability and proportion. Our giving therefore reveals something deeper about us. It reveals our heart, our trust, our confidence, and even who we consider to be our master. Jesus said, “For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also” (Matthew 6:21). Child of God, do not allow your circumstances to become the master of your heart. Give according to what God has entrusted to you, with a willing and sincere heart. But above all, give yourself to the Lord first. For when the heart belongs to God, everything else can be surrendered to His purpose. PRAYER Lord,Purify my heart and deliver me from selfishness, fear, and the love of possessions. Teach me to give willingly, sincerely, sacrificially, and according to what You have placed in my hands. Use everything I have for Your glory and the advancement of Your Kingdom. 🕊️ DOMINION DAILY DEVOTION ~ DAY 249 DATE: 6TH SEPTEMBER 2026 TOPIC:HOLY SPIRIT IS A SANCTIFIER ANCHOR SCRIPTURE: 1 Corinthians 6:11 (NKJV) “And such were some of you. But you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus and by the Spirit of our God.” Devotional message: Today we look at another vital ministry of the Holy Spirit—His work as our Sanctifier. God has called every believer to reflect and mirror His holy character. Scripture declares, “But as He who called you is holy, you also be holy in all your conduct,” because it is written, “You shall be holy, for I am holy” (1 Peter 1:15–16). However, there is a fundamental problem: holiness cannot be produced by human strength alone. In ourselves, we are unable to attain the righteousness God requires. Yet, remarkably, those who belong to Christ are called saints—those who have been set apart for God. Since holiness does not originate from our fallen nature, we must be made holy. This is where the ministry of the Holy Spirit becomes essential. The Holy Spirit is the One who works within us to sanctify us and conform us to the image of Christ. His title, “Holy Spirit,” speaks not only of His own holy nature but also points to His work of producing holiness within the people of God. One of the special ministries of the Holy Spirit is therefore to make us saints—to consecrate and set us apart for God. To be sanctified means to be made holy, set apart, and increasingly conformed to God's righteous character. Sanctification begins when we are united with Christ and continues throughout our earthly lives as the Holy Spirit progressively transforms us. Ultimately, God will complete this work when we are fully glorified in His presence. sanctification involves both God's work and our cooperation. God works within us through the Holy Spirit, but we must willingly yield, obey, resist sin, renew our minds through the Word, and respond to His promptings. The Holy Spirit indwells the believer and continually works to produce a righteous heart and life. He changes our desires, corrects our attitudes, strengthens us against sin, and develops Christlike character within us. As we yield to Him, the fruit of the Spirit becomes increasingly evident in our lives—love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. Child of God, salvation is not merely about being forgiven; it is also about being transformed. God did not save us so that we could remain the same. He desires to make us increasingly like Christ in character, conduct, and lifestyle. Therefore, do not resist the dealings of the Holy Spirit. Allow Him to search your heart, correct you, cleanse you, and transform you. Cooperate with His work, because the same Spirit who saved you is also the Spirit who sanctifies you. 🕊️ DOMINION DAILY DEVOTION ~ DAY 248 DATE: 5TH SEPTEMBER 2026 TOPIC: THE JOURNEY OF BECOMING_5 ANCHOR SCRIPTURE: EPHESIANS 3.20 (NIV) Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, Devotional message: Jesus knew that in this journey of becoming, as we continually look to Him, learn from Him, and walk with Him, we become like Him. Therefore, He did not leave us to accomplish this journey by our own strength. One of the greatest promises He gave us was the gift of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit brings power from within—power that does not only enable us to do things for God, but also enables God to transform us from within. The work of the Holy Spirit is therefore not limited to signs, wonders, preaching, healing, deliverance, or other expressions of spiritual power. He also works deeply within us, shaping our character, renewing our minds, producing godly fruit, and conforming us to the image of Christ. This is where we must understand the difference between doing and becoming. We can desire power to do great things, yet God is equally concerned with the person we are becoming. The Holy Spirit empowers us not merely to demonstrate God's power outwardly, but to experience His transforming power inwardly. God's predetermined purpose for us is that we would be conformed to the image of His Son, so that Christ would be preeminent among us. Therefore, the Holy Spirit works in us to produce the character of Christ—love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. Child of God, do not seek the power of the Holy Spirit only for what you can do; yield to His power for who He wants you to become. It is possible to desire the power that works through you while resisting the transformation God wants to accomplish in you. But the journey of becoming requires us to surrender to the Holy Spirit and allow Him to deal with our character, motives, desires, attitudes, and conduct. The same Spirit who empowers us to minister to others also works within us to make us more like Jesus. The power from within is not only power for doing; it is power for becoming. As we behold Christ, walk with Him, submit to His Word, and yield to the Holy Spirit, we are progressively transformed into His likeness. This is the journey of becoming. 🕊️ DOMINION DAILY DEVOTION ~ DAY 247 DATE: 4TH SEPTEMBER 2026 TOPIC: THE JOURNEY OF BECOMING_4 ANCHOR SCRIPTURE: MATTHEW 11:29 (NKJV) “Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me…” Devotional message: Yesterday, we saw that one of the reasons we take the yoke of Christ is so that He can order our steps. When two oxen are yoked together, they do not move independently; they are joined together for a common purpose. In the same way, when we become yoked with Christ, our lives are no longer driven merely by our own desires, ambitions, instincts, or preferences. His purpose becomes our purpose, and His mission becomes our reason for living. A person who is truly yoked with Christ must learn to ask, “Lord, what is Your purpose for my life?” rather than simply asking, “What do I want to do with my life?” We are no longer living merely to build our own kingdoms, pursue our own comfort, or satisfy our own desires. We have been joined to Christ so that we may participate in what He is doing on the earth. Jesus came to seek and save the lost. He preached the Kingdom of God, healed the sick, delivered those who were oppressed, set captives free, and called people to repentance and eternal life. Therefore, as we become like Him, the things that mattered to Him must begin to matter to us. Our purpose becomes extending the Kingdom of God and bringing people out of the kingdom of darkness into the Kingdom of God's dear Son. We strive to depopulate darkness through soul-winning, preach the Gospel, lead people to salvation, and prepare men and women for eternity. We must also be available for God to work through us in bringing freedom to those who are bound. Where there is demonic oppression, we stand in the authority Christ has given us and minister deliverance. Where there is sickness, we pray for the sick and trust God for healing. Where people are oppressed, discouraged, broken, or enslaved by the powers of darkness, we become vessels through which Christ can bring freedom. This is not about seeking recognition or proving our spirituality. It is about continuing the work of our Master. Jesus said that His followers would do the works He did, and even greater works, because He was going to the Father (John 14:12). Child of God, being yoked with Christ means that you cannot remain indifferent to the things that break His heart. If souls matter to Him, they must matter to us. If He desires men to be saved, we must desire the same. If He came to destroy the works of the devil, we must be willing to stand against the works of darkness through the authority He has given us. The evidence that we are truly becoming like Christ is not merely in what we say or what spiritual activities we perform, but in whether His desires are becoming our desires and His mission is becoming our mission. We are yoked together with Him. Therefore, we move with Him, we follow His steps, we carry His burden, and we pursue His purpose. PRAYER Lord Jesus, Let my life not be centered on myself, but on You and Your purposes. May I faithfully continue the works You began and bring glory to Your name. In Jesus' name, Amen. 🕊️ DOMINION DAILY DEVOTION ~ DAY 246 DATE: 3RD SEPTEMBER 2026 TOPIC: THE JOURNEY OF BECOMING_3 ANCHOR SCRIPTURE: MATTHEW 11:29 (NKJV) “Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me…” Devotional message: Yesterday, we saw that the journey of becoming begins by surrendering our lives to Jesus. Today, we take the next step: if Jesus is truly Lord of our lives, then we must take His yoke upon ourselves. To take the yoke of Christ means that His direction becomes our direction, His ways become our ways, and His steps become the steps we follow. A yoke speaks of submission and alignment. It means that we no longer live according to our own dictates, desires, and preferences, but willingly submit ourselves to the leadership of our Master, the Lord Jesus Christ. When we surrender our lives to Christ, we surrender the right to govern ourselves independently of Him. We are no longer living merely to please ourselves; our greatest desire becomes to please the One who purchased us. Paul understood this reality when he described himself as a servant/slave of Christ. His life was no longer centered on his own will but on the will of his Master. And because Jesus is the Word, our lives must be governed by the Word of God. We should not simply make decisions based on what feels right, what everyone else is doing, or what benefits us. Before we act, we must ask: What does the Word of God say? The Word becomes our boundary, our standard, our compass, and the authority by which we evaluate our choices. Our relationships, conversations, finances, careers, ambitions, entertainment, conduct, and every other area of life must come under the government of God's Word. Child of God, you cannot say that Jesus is Lord while consistently refusing His instructions. Lordship means surrender. It means allowing Him to govern your life, correct you, redirect you, and teach you His ways. The journey of becoming like Christ requires us to continually surrender our will to His will. The more we submit to Him and allow His Word to shape us, the more we become like Him. PRAYER Lord Jesus, I surrender my life completely to You. Teach me to take Your yoke upon me and learn from You. Help me to no longer be governed by my own desires, but by Your will and Your Word. Let every decision I make be rooted in Scripture, and let my life continually bring pleasure and glory to You. Devotional message: Yesterday, we saw that God is interested in our becoming because it is through our becoming like Him that we are able to function according to His nature and exercise the dominion He has entrusted to us. However, every journey has a source and a destination. The source is where the journey begins, and the destination is where we are heading. In our journey of becoming, Jesus is both the way and the Captain. Just as a person must board a vessel to begin a journey across the waters, we must be in Christ if we are to begin the journey of transformation. We cannot become the person God desires us to be through our own strength or self-effort. We must surrender ourselves to Him and allow Him to make us. This journey begins with salvation—being born again. We must accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and personal Saviour and surrender the government of our lives to Him. Salvation is not merely adding Jesus to our lives; it is allowing Him to become Lord over our lives, directing our steps, shaping our character, and leading us towards the purpose for which He created us. Therefore, if you desire to embark on the journey of becoming, begin by establishing a genuine relationship with Jesus Christ. You cannot become in your own making; you must allow the One who created you to make you into what He desires you to become. As you surrender to Him, He begins the work of transforming you from glory to glory. Bible records that except a man be born again he can't see God. The journey of becoming like Christ begins with being born again and surrendering ourselves to Jesus. We cannot transform ourselves into God's desired purpose; we must allow Christ, our Captain, to lead, shape, and transform us. PRAYER Heavenly Father, thank You for the gift of salvation and sending your one and only son to come and die for my sins. I accept Him as the Lord and personal saviour of my life.
