Mark 1:35 — “And in the morning, rising up a great while before day, He went out, and departed into a solitary place, and there prayed.”

1. WHAT IS NIGHT PRAYER?
Night prayer is the act of seeking God during the late hours — usually between 12:00 midnight and 3:00 a.m.
It is a time when distractions are few, the world is silent, and the heavens are open to those who call upon the Lord.
Psalm 63:6 — “When I remember thee upon my bed, and meditate on thee in the night watches.”
Lamentations 2:19 — “Arise, cry out in the night: in the beginning of the watches pour out thine heart like water before the face of the Lord.”

Jacob’s destiny changed during a night encounter with God.
* Samuel — 1 Samuel 3:3-10

Psalm 4:4 — “Commune with your own heart upon your bed, and be still.”

* Read and meditate on the Word: It gives direction.
* Be specific in your prayers: Target areas of need or warfare.
* Pray in the Spirit: Let the Holy Spirit lead your utterance (Romans 8:26).
* End with praise and gratitude: Seal your prayers with thanksgiving.
6. NIGHT PRAYER REQUIRES DISCIPLINE
You must conquer sleep and comfort to gain victory in prayer.
The enemy fears those who pray when others sleep.
Matthew 26:40-41 — “Could ye not watch with me one hour? Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation.”
The secret of night prayer is the secret of divine power, revelation, and victory.
Those who rise to pray while others sleep rise above ordinary life.
