OCU PRIMATE VISITS BELGIAN METROPOLIS OF ECUMENICAL PATRIARCHATE

SYNOPSIS: On June 21, Metropolitan Epifaniy of Kyiv and All Ukraine, Primate of the OCU, visited the Metropolis of Belgium as part of a delegation from the Ukrainian Council of Churches and Religious Organizations. The visit was hosted by Metropolitan Athenagoras of the Ecumenical Patriarchate, who has a long-standing history of involvement in Ukrainian church affairs.
The two leaders held discussions regarding the ongoing Russian aggression in Ukraine and the resulting humanitarian crisis.
