  • A Life That Reveals God Has a Greater Impact Than Lips That Merely Speak About Him!

The Christian life is not merely about speaking about God; it is also about revealing through our lives that God lives within us.

It is not only important how beautifully we speak about the name of God. What truly matters is whether people can see God through our conduct, words, decisions, relationships, forgiveness, integrity, and love.

    Jesus said:

    > “Let your light shine before others, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.”
    (Matthew 5:16)

Notice this the purpose of our good works is not for people to glorify us, but for them to glorify our Heavenly Father.

Our lives must become a living testimony.

If we speak about love, that love must be revealed in the way we forgive even those who hurt us.
If we speak about faith, it must be revealed by trusting God even when circumstances are against us.
If we speak about holiness, it must be revealed by living a holy life even when no one is watching.
If we speak about God's grace, it must be revealed by showing grace even to those who have wronged us.

Our lives should never contradict the message our lips proclaim.

Joseph did not spend his time in Egypt merely preaching about God. Yet through his integrity, purity, wisdom, and fear of God, those around him recognized that the hand of God was upon his life.

Daniel was the same. He did not simply say that he trusted God; even under pressure, he refused to compromise his prayer life. His life became the evidence of his faith.

The world often sees our lives before it listens to our preaching.

Therefore, every day we must ask ourselves:

When someone looks at my life, do they see me or do they see Christ living within me?

Glorifying God is not something we do only during Sunday worship. It must happen at home, at work, in our relationships, in solitude, in trials, and in times of success everywhere and at all times.

More powerful than what you say is the way you live; your life is the strongest testimony of your faith.

Let us proclaim God with our words and glorify Him through our lives.

    Sunday, August 23
    OLD TESTAMENT
RUTH 3 — Ruth and Boaz
    NEW TESTAMENT
1 JOHN 5 — Faith in the Son of God
Congratulations on completing the book of 1 John! Tomorrow we begin 2 John.
    MAJOR PROPHETS
ISAIAH 34 — Judgment Against the Nations
    TODAY'S REFLECTION
    Ruth 3
Ruth follows Naomi's instructions and approaches Boaz with humility and trust. Boaz responds with integrity, showing the importance of honour, kindness, and doing what is right even when circumstances are difficult.
    1 John 5
John emphasizes faith in Jesus Christ as the Son of God and assures believers of eternal life. Our confidence is not in ourselves but in Christ, and genuine faith produces obedience and love for God.
    Isaiah 34
Isaiah describes God's judgment against the nations and reminds us that God's justice is certain. No power can ultimately stand against His righteous purposes.
    KEY VERSE
“And this is the testimony: God has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.”
    — 1 John 5:11
    PRAYER
Heavenly Father, thank You for the gift of eternal life through Jesus Christ. Strengthen our faith and help us to walk in obedience, love, and integrity. Give us the wisdom to trust Your timing, just as Ruth trusted You, and help us remain confident in Your righteous purposes. In Jesus' mighty name, Amen.
    TODAY'S CHALLENGE
Put your faith into action today. Trust God's timing, walk with integrity, and let your love for Christ be seen through your obedience and the way you treat others.
WE STUDY. WE PRAY. WE OBEY. WE GROW. UNTIL WE ARE TOTALLY TRANSFORMED.

  • The devil can't take our salvation but there are 10 things he is trying to steal from us: Our identity, values, worship, convictions, prayer life, integrity, influence, courage , future & destiny. This message is drawing the connection with Daniel living in Babylon & us as believers in today's world around us, which has all the hallmarks of the Babylonian System. Hence the title: "10 things Babylon is trying to steal from us."

  • Did you know?
Joseph runs Potiphar's entire household, trusted with everything except one thing, his master's wife. And she wants him. Not once, the text says she propositioned him day by day. This wasn't a moment of weakness. It was sustained pressure, day after day, that Joseph resisted every single time. When she confronts him directly, Joseph doesn't just refuse. He explains why. How could he do this great evil, and sin against God? Not fear of Potiphar. Not fear of punishment. A line he wouldn't cross, because of who he answered to. Then one day, alone in the house, she grabs his garment. Joseph doesn't argue. He runs, leaving the garment behind in her hands. That garment becomes the evidence used to falsely accuse him. Joseph loses his position, his reputation, and his freedom, for doing the right thing. Scripture doesn't rush to rescue him. He sits in prison, for the crime of running from sin. Sometimes integrity costs you everything, before it costs you nothing.
