- The devil has really been attacking my family. We need all the prayers we can get. We need God to work a miracle in a certain situation. My heart has been broken and troubled over what is going on in our lives. I know there is nothing too hard for God to do. I'm reminded there is nothing impossible with God. Looking at the circumstances that surrounds my family and I it is fearful. However with God all things are possible. Please keep my family and I in your prayers. He knows just what is going on and I know he knows how to work. Bombard heaven with prayers please.The devil has really been attacking my family. We need all the prayers we can get. She shared with me that she serves as a teacher for approximately 40 children at a Christian Church school, where she not only teaches but also helps care for these children. Together with her brother, she is actively involved in ministry .
Last night, I received an invitation to join them during a church service via a video call. Given our time difference of 11 hours, her 7:00 PM Thursday night was my 8:00 AM Thursday morning. Despite the early hour, I was excited to join them. When I connected to the call, the service had already begun, taking place in what appeared to be a house with only a few people present. They were deeply engaged in prayer, and while prayer is common here in America, I noticed that their prayers came straight from the heart, filled with genuine faith and passion. It was truly moving to witness their devotion, and my heart was blessed by the experience.
During the service, I was asked to join in worship and sing with them. Although I had been dealing with sinus issues for the past few days, my voice felt strong enough, and I was able to sing a little bit of “Amazing Grace” for everyone. Later, I spoke with her brother, who invited me to worship with their Sunday school children online. He encouraged me to choose a date and time to connect with the 40 children they teach. She suggested January 18th, which, due to the time difference, would be Saturday the 17th at 9:00 PM for me. I told her I would do my best to connect and sing for them. When she asked if I had a message to share, I explained that I am not a preacher, but a singer, and that I also teach young children in Sunday school at my own church.
This new friendship has given me a deeper appreciation for the blessings I often take for granted in America. The things that seem small or ordinary to us—such as the freedom to worship openly, the abundance of food, and the ability to pray and read the Bible anywhere— would be tremendous blessings for them. I shared with her that I have discovered a new meaning of thankfulness, realizing that we rarely worry about going hungry or having to worship God in secret.
She mentioned to me that there is a real need for help and support to provide food and essentials for the 40 children they care for at their church Sunday school. I told her I would look into whether I know anyone involved in mission work in the Middle East or specifically in her country, in hopes that they might be able to offer assistance. I am hoping and praying God will send some direct help and support for them. Safety is also a major concern for her, as living in a nation where people can be killed for being Christians brings constant risk. I noticed how frequently she asks if my family and I are safe, a question that feels unfamiliar here, where safety is often taken for granted.
Reflecting on these experiences, I am filled with a profound sense of thankfulness and gratitude. It has truly been a remarkable blessing to have the opportunity to share God's word through song with people halfway across the world. Today, my heart feels especially humble and deeply blessed by the connections and moments of worship I have been able to experience. The ability to unite in faith with others, despite distance and differences, has made me more appreciative of the gifts I have and the chance to make a meaningful impact in the lives of others.

- The Sun is Shining it’s a beautiful day,
The clouds of hope brushed my tears away,
Since Jesus came into my heart to stay,
It may be raining but it’s still a beautiful day.
I woke up this morning thanked God for grace,
My heart was filled with so much praise,
I use to hate for the mornings to come;
But Jesus came, gave me peace, joy, from above
