  • *SEED OF LIFE*
BUT know this, that in the last days perilous times will come. For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away.
Always learning and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.
    • ‭2 Timothy 3:1,2,4,5 & 7

One of the sins that forms part of the signs of the last days is that professing Christians are lovers of pleasure more than lovers of God... The true follower of Jesus cannot find pleasure in the frivolous, empty conversations of the world-lover... because the latter is merely satisfied with contemplating the religion of Christ, but knows nothing of its saving power. Obedience to the Word of God will lead them to separate themselves from all these things.
    • Radiant Religion, p. 236

    *• A Point to Ponder •*
Our danger is not merely that sensual pleasure exists, but that it has displaced the transforming power of a living relationship with God.(FrontierOfHopeMinistry)

The seeds that fell among the thorns are those who hear, but as they go on their way, they are choked by the worries, riches, and pleasures of this life, and their fruit does not mature.
    • Luke 8:14

Satan display the world with its most alluring, flattering charms to poor mortals, and as they gaze upon it, its glitter and tinsel eclipse the glory of heaven, and that life which is as enduring as the throne of God. A life of peace, happiness, joy unspeakable, which shall know nothing of sorrow, sadness, pain, nor death, is sacrificed for a short lifetime of sin.

What if Satan cannot persuade me to abandon Christ, but can persuade me to become so absorbed in the things of this life that I have little time, desire, or attention left for Him?

By faith Moses, when he was grown up, refused to be called the son of Pharaoh’s daughter, choosing rather to be mistreated with the people of God than to enjoy the fleeting pleasures of sin.
    • Hebrews 11:24, 25

Moses was offered the palace of the Pharaohs and the throne; but the sinful pleasures that make men forget God were in those lordly courts... Instead of linking himself with the sin and the greatness of Egypt, he chose to bind up his life with God’s purpose... The greatness of Egypt is in the dust... All who will turn from the pleasures of earth, rather than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season, will receive the unfading crown of immortality, and the far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory.

    Psalm 23:5 KJV
Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: Thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runeth over.
    • Psalm 23:5

Satan has his evil angels around us… He makes evil suggestions and inspires worldly thoughts, knowing that he can thus bring the soul into condemnation and bondage… For every class of temptations, there is a remedy. We are not left to ourselves to fight the battle against self and our sinful natures in our own finite strength. Jesus is a mighty helper, a never-failing support.

The sheep could not control or protect itself from every irritating insect. It needed the shepherd, who knew its vulnerability. There is nothing better for a man than to eat and drink and assure himself that there is good in his labour. Even this, I have seen, is from the hand of God.
    • Ecclesiastes 2:24

    *King James Version:*
There is nothing better for a man, than that he should eat and drink, and that he should make his soul enjoy good in his labour. This also I saw, that it was from the hand of God. For who can eat, or who else can hasten hereunto, more than I?

At creation, labour was appointed as a blessing. It meant development, power, happiness... though the curse of sin has brought a change in the conditions of labour, it is still a source of happiness and development. It is a safeguard against temptation. Its discipline places a check on self-indulgence and promotes industry, purity, and firmness. Thus, it becomes a part of God’s great plan for our recovery from the fall.
    • Education, p.214

    *• A Point To Ponder •*
Work is not merely a means of survival; it is a gift from God. It points us to Christ, who Himself spent most of His earthly life as a carpenter. He dignified honest labour by His own example.

Satan quoted scripture to tempt the Lord in the wilderness. He has many minions who do the same by picking on those who follow Christ now. Please pray for decernment of the spirits over yourself so you don't fall victim to schemes that can cost you dearly. This is the 2nd time in 3 weeks that someone does this to me. But they don't get what they want, I rather expose them.

This person is also refering to themselves as mrs and their 1st name. Which is an english language grammar mistake and can indicate that the one who wrote it is either uneducated (not likely) or is not even a white female or english speaking person; as the profile pic suggested; or used a translator to type. And also, their profile is not accessible any longer due to it being blocked or deleted or fake.

    ● They are claiming to be dieing - playing on the feelings of the reader.

    ● Giving a compliment and thanks - adhering to the sincerity to build a stronger case of acceptance and trust.
    ● Offering finacial aid, for free, to a stranger - there is a saying "if it sounds to good to be true, it propably is" - this person is trying to make the reader believe in their samaritarian outreach to the needy, and this all in the name of Jesus.
    ● Inviting the reader - to close the converstion in a non-hostile manner so the reader would feel comfortable to comply with the instructions given.

● Mentioning the name of Jesus and quoting scripture - trying to earn trust from the reader. ● Offering sincerety - to make the reader feel at ease. I am not complying... rather In Jesus' mighty name, I pray this scheme gets cancelled and cut off any plans it has made to trick any other person. Amen.

  • *SEED FOR LIFE*
If you then... know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?
    • Luke 11:13

God desires to see men and women reaching the highest standard; and when by faith they lay hold of the power of Christ, when they plead His unfailing promises, and claim them as their own, when with an importunity that will not be denied they seek for the power of the Holy Spirit, they will be made complete in Him.
    • Acts of The Apostles, p.530

    *• A Point To Ponder •*
The Holy Spirit enables us to pray, strengthens us in temptation, comforts us in sorrow, and transforms our character.

  • SEED OF LIFE
Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.
    • Hebrews 4:16

It is to the glory of our Father to impart His virtue to His children... Heaven is open to our petitions and supplications, and we are invited to come... We must come in faith, hopeful that we will obtain the things we ask of Him... If we experience a sensation of need in our hearts, and empty ourselves of self, He will supply everything we need.
    • God's Amazing Grace, p.217

    *• A Point to Ponder •*
When we empty our hearts of self and approach Christ with humble faith, He fills us with compassion for yesterday's failures, grace for today's challenges, and hope for tomorrow's journey.(FrontierOfHopeMinistry)

I thank my God always on your behalf, for the grace of God which is given you by Jesus Christ.
    • 1 Corinthians 1:4

Money can not buy it, intellect can not grasp it, power cannot command it; but to all who will accept it, God’s glorious grace is freely given... You can gain an entrance to Father’s house through the merits of the cross of Christ... If we are overcome, let us not delay to repent... Not one sinner needs to be lost. Full and free is the gift of saving grace.
    • God's Amazing Grace, p.179

    • A Point To Ponder •
Though I am not what I ought to be, nor what I wish to be, nor what I hope to be, I can truly say, I am not what I once was. By the grace of God I am what I am.

You yourselves are our letter, written on our hearts, known and read by everyone.
    • 2 Corinthians 3:2

It is not the profession but the possession of religion that makes one a Christian. A true character is not shaped from without, and put on; it radiates from within... Our profession of faith may proclaim the theory of religion, but it is our practical piety that holds forth the word of truth.
    • Reflecting Christ, p.288

    *• A Point to Ponder •*
Every day, someone is reading the story of your life. The question is not whether you are writing a letter—but what your letter says about Christ.

Freely you have received; freely give.
    • Matthew 10:8

The more of the Spirit of God, the more of His grace, is brought into our daily experience, the less friction there will be, the more happiness we shall have, and the more we shall impart to others... We can impart only that which we receive from Christ; and we can receive only as we impart to others.
    • God's Amazing Grace, p.213

    • A Point To Ponder •
We are channels, not reservoirs. Let Christ's love flow through you today, and someone else's life will be brighter because you allowed God to use you.
