  • Continue Your Courtship: Warm Love + Eager Respect

"Love one another warmly as Christians, and be eager to show respect for one another." — Romans 12:10 (GNT)

Marriage is not the end of courtship—it is the daily continuation of it.

One of the keys to continuing your courtship is found right here:
Warm, genuine love that doesn't grow cold.
Eager respect that never takes your spouse for granted.

And here's a secret to any healthy relationship—whether with your spouse, your children, or your friends:
Warmth + Respect = Lasting Love.

When you stop being eager to show respect, the courtship fades. When you keep loving warmly and honoring eagerly, your marriage stays alive, fresh, and thriving.

Continue your courtship today. Greet your spouse warmly. Respect them eagerly. Let romance live in the ordinary moments.

Chaplain's message of wisdom and hope to the married, those preparing for marriage, and everyone in a relationship.

  • AMBUSH WITH PRAISE!
I am thrilled to introduce my new book – Ambush with Praise

It’s a 14‑day devotional based on 2 Chronicles 20. The message is simple but radical: You don’t fight your enemies – you praise, and God sets an ambush.

This book serves you – whether you are:

    · A prayer warrior needing fresh spiritual strategy,
    · A lifecoach helping others with health, income, relationships, career, or net worth,
    · Or a chaplain walking with patients, prisoners, students, disciplined forces, orphans, or widows.
    - Or just you.

Professor Isael Santos Souza Costa calls it: “The valley of death becomes the valley of blessing.”

What’s the biggest battle you’re facing right now where you need a victory? Comment below – I’d love to start praying and praising with you for that ultimate Ambush.

Early access is available send "AMBUSH" on WhatsApp to +254717868433 or email: Chaplaischafikenyan@gmail.com

  • He is able – even for David. Even for you.

David was a man after God's own heart. But he also committed adultery and murder. He tried to hide it. But when the prophet Nathan confronted him, David confessed and cried out and confessed

“Close your eyes to my sins and wipe out all my evil.” – Psalm 51:9

And God did it. He closed His eyes to David's sin. He restored his joy. He gave him another son, Solomon. And centuries later, He placed David in the lineage of Jesus.

If God can wipe out David's evil, He can wipe out yours.

That is the heart of my new book HE IS ABLE – The Joseph Secret. It shows how quiet integrity defeats the sinner's greatest temptation – and how God's power and able ability, works both before we fall (Joseph) and after we fall (David).

Whatever you're facing today – health, relationship, income, career, net worth – He is able.

  • HAPPY EASTER
Headline: Something big is rolling your way.

For ten years I guarded valuables and people as a security team leader in the Middle East. I learned that when real danger comes, you don't send your weakest. You send your mightiest.

That's why Matthew 28:2 stops me every time.

"The angel of the Lord descended from heaven, rolled back the stone, and sat upon it."

The stone wasn't a problem for heaven. It was a pebble.
And after the angel rolled it away, he didn't pace nervously.
He sat down on it. Work finished. Victory certain.

I wrote a book about that angel.
    About the darkness he parts.
About the tomb that becomes a throne.

  • Title: The Three-Day Journey of the Faithful – From Cross to Rest to Rising

They stayed when almost everyone else ran away.
    They watched Him die.
They saw where His body was laid.
Then they went home, prepared spices… and rested.

Not because they had given up.
    But because they obeyed.

Luke 23:55-56 (GNT) tells us about the faithful women who followed Jesus from Galilee. They witnessed the cross. They prepared spices for His burial. And on the Sabbath, they rested – just as the Law commanded.

These women teach us three powerful lessons for our own journey:

Good Friday (Sacrifice) – They saw the tomb. They stayed near Jesus even when hope seemed dead. True faithfulness doesn't flee when things get dark.

Sabbath Rest (Obedience) – They rested according to the commandment. Even in deep grief, they trusted God's timing and honored His holy day. Rest is not weakness – it's faith in action.

Easter (Rising) – Their faithful waiting led to the empty tomb. They came to serve a dead body, but found a risen Lord. Hope always rises after rest.

They saw. They prepared. They rested. Then God rose.

This Holy Week, let's walk the same journey:
From cross to rest to rising.

  • Chaplain’s Good Friday / Easter Message

On Good Friday, Jesus refused the intoxicating wine offered to dull His pain (Mark 15:23). He chose a clear mind to finish His Father’s work. He hung on the cross to pay the price for your sins and mine – because He loved us when we could not save ourselves. On Easter, He rose with a glorified body – the ultimate promise for all who honor God with their bodies.

God invites us: “Eat what is good” (Isaiah 55:2), and “Whether you eat or drink, do all to the glory of God” (1 Corinthians 10:31). Ignoring God’s health laws might cause a person to lose his good judgment and fall into sin, even to the point of losing salvation.

Judas, the foolish virgins, and all who are “intoxicated by drink” (Proverbs 20:1) share a tragic path: spiritual intoxication leads to unwise choices, broken relationships, and even losing salvation. Judas cherished greed, rejected reproof, and destroyed himself. His unwise choice to betray Jesus for thirty pieces of silver opened the door for the devil to use him – causing the suffering and arrest of our Savior. The foolish virgins had lamps but no oil – they were spiritually drowsy, unprepared to meet the Bridegroom.

But today is a new day. Because Jesus died and rose, you can choose the wise virgin’s path. Say no to alcohol and every harmful habit. Eat what is good. Keep your body as a temple. Stay sober, watchful, and filled with the Spirit. Jesus is coming again – and because of Easter, you can be ready.

That is the health plan of the cross and the empty tomb.

    Read: Proverbs 20:1; Isaiah 55:2; 1 Corinthians 10:31; 1 Corinthians 6:19-20; Mark 15:23; Matthew 25:1-13; Matthew 27:3-5
