YOU MUST APPROPRIATE WHAT HE DID.
Appropriation is what gives expression to redemption. Everything Jesus Christ did for us on the cross cannot find expression automatically. It must be appropriated. That is why know one becomes save automatically, no one becomes healed automatically, no one becomes blessed automatically; despite the fact that Jesus Christ had died for all sinners and has given us ALL things. You must first believe him and then you confess before you receive salvation.
If I get you a car and I call you to inform you. It's yours already, but to receive it; you will have to show up at my office/house to get the key, you must have learnt how to drive and you must have knowledge of the road network. After receiving it, you may decide to park it or use it - but it's yours already.
By redemption, everything has been purchased for us by the blood of Jesus Christ. Every heavenly things are now yours. You have been delivered from the power of Darkness and translated: in text, in form and in position. It is a settled thing. BUT TO ENJOY, EXPRESS AND LIVE IN THE REALITY OF THAT SCRIPTURE, YOU MUST APPROPRIATE IT.
You have been healed. You have been forgiven and saved. You have been set free. You have been set for success, progress and greatness. Everything you desire is in the past, it has happened, it is available. But you have to seize it, possess it, take it before it truly becomes yours. This is the law of appropriation - nothing is yours until you appreciate it. How?
Find out what he said about your desire in God's Word, stand on that Word, believe the Word, declare the Word, Act on that Word, thank Him for the answer, and watch God confirm His Word upon your life. Repeat the process over and again - sometimes, it doesn't happen once. It's done!

YOU HAVE BEEN TRANSLATED.
To translate means:
1. To Change Text. This means All the ordinances that was written against you has been changed. ALL THE EVIDENCES THE DEVIL HOLDS AGAINST YOU IS NO LONGER VALID AND ADMISSABLE. Colossians 2:14.
2. To Change Form. Jesus translated you by changing your form. Your structure, image, person has been changed. You are now a new creature. The old you is gone, dead.
Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. 2 Corinthians 5:17.
And have put on the new man... after the image of him that created him: Colossians 3:10.
This change of form is because of the presence and glory of God now residents upon you. God's glory upon you makes the whole difference in your personality. So when the devil reminds you of the past, tell him: that was the old me, I'm different now. This is a new me. If he ask how? Tell him: You have been translated (changed). Your body should no longer response to sickness and diseases but to healing and health.
3. To change position. Jesus translated you by changing your script (the ordinances against you) and your form(your nature, person); he also changed your position. Glory to God. You are now in a different position, location and condition - where he can't reach or touch you. This scriptures confirms it:
"Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;) [6] And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus". Ephesians 2:5-6 KJV.
So our position is now in the "heavenly places", far above principalities and powers. Understand that we have (past tense) been translated in position to HIS KINGDOM OF LIGHT - WHERE DARKNESS CANNOT REIGN OR PREVAIL. Our position changed from darkness to light, from the kingdom of wickedness to the kingdom of goodness. So when you see the word translated, it carries greater meaning than you can imagine. It connotes change in three different dimensions. This is what Jesus Christ did for you and I at the cross. Celebrate this great accomplishments. This is where you are, this is who you are now. In the tertiary institutions, there are certain courses central to your discipline. They are called core course(s). Jesus Christ core course, central to his mission on earth is deliverance. He came, died and resurrected that he might establish that plan. And he did it, he finished it, he perfected it and sealed it.
Jesus Christ, didn't just delivered you from danger or destruction, He delivered you from:
- THE POWER. Jesus rescued you from the enemies "ability" to harm you, afflict you and inflict pain on you. He delivered you from:
2. THE POWER OF DARKNESS. Glory to God. Darkness is more than just danger and pain. The word darkness has a greater and deeper meaning. It means: Misery, destruction, death, ignorance, sorrow, distress, judgment, wickedness/sin and the Devil. It symbolizes everything anti-God, anti-Christ. THIS IS WHAT JESUS RESCUED YOU FROM. HE ACCOMPLISHED IT IN THE PAST AND IT MANIFEST DAILY. He did it without your personal cost or contribution. I think you should be more praiseful to him daily. YOU HAVE BEEN DELIVERED ALREADY!
There is already a devine verdict regarding your safety and security. It was included in God's eternal constitution. Before the attack, there's victory, before the trouble, there's a provision, before the frustration; there is a way OUT. BUT YOU HAVE TO FIND IT AND APPROPRIATE IT. WATCH OUT!
Many destinies have been truncated because we fail to adhere to this two words. Staying watchful is a lifelong, lifelong responsibility for everyone who desires peace and progress. You must never outsource your guard to someone else. This is what cost Adam and Eve the garden for ever. You won't loose your garden in Jesus precious name.
WATCH OUT FOR WHAT?
1. Understand the context of the words being said. Many of you swallow every word, hook, line, and sinker. Your downfall was simply focusing on the contents and forgetting the context. Content, involves: The literal meaning of the word(s). While Context, deals with The surrounding circumstances that affect how we interpret the word(s). Content focus on "The words themselves" while Context focus on "The situation around the words" Sometimes a man or woman begins to speak out the future but you are too shallow, myopic and unwatchful to read in-between the lines. Carried away by the euphoria and excitement of the present, you loose your future. That is how you married the wrong person. That is how you entered the wrong business etc. WATCH OUT FOR THE CONTEXT BEHIND WORDS.
2. Understand the personality, the spirit behind the words. It is often said that God or life can use anybody, I agree. But most often, it is not. This is why you must always look at the spirit behind words, the personality behind the statement. The closest disciple of Jesus Christ is Peter. At an incident, Jesus called Peter Satan.
"But he turned, and said unto Peter, Get thee behind me, Satan: thou art an offence unto me: for thou savourest not the things that be of God, but those that be of men. Matthew 16:23. Peter only made a statement, but the spirit behind the words was of Satan. Jesus recognised the spirit speaking and he rebuked it. Eve and then Adam, couldn't decipher the spirit behind the serpent, it cost them their beautiful garden. The devil is a trickster, very smart and a deceiver. Remember he uses tools and channels available especially, man. EVERY WORD HAS A SPIRIT. Scripture says: the words that I speak are spirit (behind every word is a spirit). WATCH OUT, UNDERSTAND THE SPIRIT BEHIND THE WORDS, NO MATTER HOW SWEET THEY ARE. "...and my spirit made diligent search. Psalm 77:6.

WHO TOLD YOU THAT YOU WERE NAKED?
This is one of the most powerful question in scripture. There was a long conversation between the serpent and Eve on all what God said to them, then the serpent (the devil) finally said: Ye shall not surely die...Gen. 3:4. Eve, then took a step in response to what the serpent said and offered the same to Adam and they both became the victim of what he (the devil) said.
We are all victims of what someone said at one point or another in our lives. Many of the things they said we're not true, some were mere facts based on one singular but personal experience. But we accepted it, acted on it, finally lived by it. It usually starts with our parents, then our friends and then strangers. Our Fathers have told us lots of negative things about women; our mothers, about men. We received it, believed it, carried it and lives by it. And this words have shaped our lives negatively.
One of the things I (and many of you) heard growing up is: "heaven help those who help themselves". This word has prompted many actions that has destroyed many destinies. The real truth is: HEAVEN HELP THOSE WHO CANNOT HELP THEMSELVES. But who told you?
Who told you there are no faithful men or women anymore? Who told you that love is a scam? Who told you that you will die? Who told you that you are worthless, that you are not good enough that you can't make it? Who told you that you must cheat before you succeed? Who told you there's no God, and Christianity is white man's religion? Listen, the endpoint of words are actions. And actions has consequences. The reason they told you is so you can act on it. But have you truly thought about who told you? It is time to rewind, rewire, renew your mind. It is time to drop all these garbages in your mind and start afresh. GO IN AND POSSESS THE LAND!
The distance between where you are and where you are destined for is a STEP. Just one step is what makes the whole difference. God has already declared your destination you are the one to confirm it with your decision. God's plan and desire for you has been clearly stated but you have a part to play to fulfill it - GO IN.
Some years ago, there were many motivational speakers and preachers always saying: "it's a dreamer's world", "dream big" and many similar statements. But when you look deeply, you discover that the world is now full of dreamers but no real change. Why? It's because this world is no longer for dreamers, it is now for takers. Dreamers are those who have goals, visions, plans. While takers, are those who pursue their dreams. They are those who get to work on their goals.
In our reference scripture, the Lord has set the goal, the vision, the blessing (land) before you, but to possess it, you must ARISE, you must GO IN. You must Make the move; take the step, get to work, do what it takes - Do it now. Have you proposed? Have you collected the list? Have you done site inspection? Have you checked the product and prices? Have you done consultation? Do you have a sample? Have you done feasibility studies? Have you bought the form, talked to the manager, do you know where to get it? Listen, Someone else is after what you desire. STOP DREAMING, START TAKING, ENOUGH OF YOUR PLANNING - GO IN AND POSSESS THE LAND. Receive grace to make the right move and take up opportunity today. Be blessed, Stay refreshed!

THIS IS NOT YOUR REST!
Life is progressive. God is progressive. Everything plan, project or vision from God is designed to continue - progressively. In God's agenda, a stop in only for rest not an end. In Genesis chapter two, God finished "His work" but other works continued. Jesus finished his work on earth but handed over works to the Apostles. In one of his teachings, Jesus said: my father worketh, hitherto I work. Even right now he is still working for us from the right hand of the father.
Today, many believers have settled down to rest, they have become complacent. They have reached a certain point and achieved certain goals in there lives and they are satisfied. They have become comfortable. But God is saying to you, THIS IS NOT YOUR REST. Where you are now, is good enough, it's an achievement, you have tried, you have done your bits and possibly your best. God is saying: arise and depart, for this is not your rest. Take a look at what God told Joshua:
...Lord said unto him(Joshua), Thou art old and stricken in years, and there remaineth yet very much land to be possessed. Joshua 13:1 KJV.
As good and lofty as where you are right, it is not a your place of rest. And maybe you are down, and below, I want to tell you, that is not God ordained place for you. It is not your end, that is not your bustop. You might have given up trying, and you think you can't go further, don't. There's something bigger, sweeter, ahead of you, don't stop there - THIS IS NOT YOUR REST. Strength to continue, receive in Jesus precious name. This week is your week of multiple testimonies. TAKE PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY!
Life is full of challenges. Life is full of uncertainties. My grandfather (Bishop David Oyedepo) said: to be challenged is scriptural but to be defeated is unscriptural. Challenges are real, our victory is more real. Challenges are gateway to our liftings in life. If there are no test and trials, how would you qualify for promotion? Your spiritual position, religious affiliation or association does not and will not exempt you from challenges in life. What defines your victory over those challenges is your ability to TAKE PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY. You must be ready to take your life in your hands and fight. This is possible via personal approach in separation.
Many are tired of their situation but are unwilling to seek God's face personally. They want a quick fix. They want an anointed man, a prophet to save them. BUT EVERYONE HAS EQUAL AND ACCESS TO GOD. The power and results generated during isolation and separation is highly potent and productive.
Jacob, had an encounter with God that got him victory over Esau during separation. Moses had an encounter with God alone, that delivered the ten commandments. My victory over 2yrs barrenness came when I separated myself, alone at the redemption camp. Your challenge is not unique, your foundational problem is not peculiar, your inability to separate yourself, alone is what makes it peculiar. LEAVE EVERYTHING, ABANDON EVERYTHING AND SEPARATE YOUR SELF ALONE FOR AN ENCOUNTER WITH GOD FOR YOUR CHANGE OF DESTINY. You have explained to every prophet, it's time to talk to God directly.

SEPARATED FOR GOOD WORK.
Separation is not an act of idleness. It is not a means to become slothful or inactive. It is rather an opportunity to be more engaging. It is an opportunity to tactful. There is always a greater purpose for every withdrawal. Destiny is established on intentional and purposeful engagement. Take a look at scripture:
JACOB'S EXAMPLE:
And Jacob was left alone; and there wrestled a man with him. Jacob separated for warfare. He knows he can't win with Esau until he wins in the spiritual so he stayed back alone, to address this matter spiritually first. THERE ARE BATTLES YOU CAN'T WIN IN THE CHURCH - VICTORY IS ONLY ACHIEVED IN THE SECRET PLACE.
JESUS'S EXAMPLE:
And he withdrew himself...and prayed. Luke 5:16. Jesus always withdraw to commune with divinity. Every major event in the ministry of Jesus that culminates in signs and wonders is always preceded he withdrawing himself to pray. He withdraws always to draw virtue always no wonder miracles accompanied his ministry always.
MOSES'S EXAMPLE:
Moses Ascended Mount Sinai alone for 40 days to receive the Law Exo 24:18, and spent years in isolation in Midian before leading Israel.
APOSTLE PAUL'S EXAMPLE:
After his conversion, he spent three years in Arabia, away from the church, for reflection and preparation Gal 1:17-18.
THE EAGLES/BILL GATES EXAMPLE:
The Eagle withdraws to renew, revive and regrow. While Bill Gates withdraw to meditate and re-evaluate. What you do in isolation is what defines what you draw from it. JACOB WAS LEFT ALONE - part 3.
Today, we focus on Jesus Christ. One of the most important and powerful activities in Jesus's ministry is his constant withdrawal from everything to be alone. This scripture confirms it:
But Jesus "OFTEN" withdrew to lonely "PLACES" and prayed. Luke 5:16 NIV. Mark the word "often" - "always".
And in the morning, ...he went out, and departed into a solitary place, and there prayed. Mark 1:35 KJV
Jesus modeled solitude as a core part of his life and ministry. It was a regular habit. It was a constant everytime routine. Jesus had just 12 disciples, yet at certain times, they were a crowd to him so he takes just 3 of them and at other times, he withdraws alone to a quiet place. Jesus had unlimited access to strength, Grace and power, yet he wouldn't spend it all with the people - HE KEPT A TIME FOR HIMSELF - ALONE, OFTEN.
Greatness is birthed in secret. Success is shaped in the secret. Growth first happen in darkness before it manifest to light. Those who play and win are not those in the crowd, they are those whose circle are few - the eleven. The crowd pay the bills, the few win the crown. The lion is the king of the jungle but the tortoise outlive him. You know why? Because the tortoise have learnt to always withdraw into his shell. Do you want to fulfill destiny? Then avoid the crowd. Create a withdrawal system. Appear for a while but learn to withdraw and be alone. Learn to retreat. Practice isolation. Put off everything, keep off noise, sound, pictures and videos so you can be alone. Listen, ALL DARKNESS IS NOT NEGATIVE, SOMETIMES, IT IS THE BIRTHPLACE OF GREATNESS. Jacob was left alone, Jesus withdrew himself - both were deliberate and intentional. Don't wait until life calls you apart. Withdraw so you can draw. There are certain friends, companies, association you must deliberately withdraw from for you to see the next phase of your life. It is time to stand aside and withdraw your self. JACOB WAS LEFT ALONE - part 2.
Let me share a particular story about BILL GATES.
Bill Gates, the Founder of Microsoft (stepped down as CEO in 2000), has and practice what is called "Think Weeks" program. The Eagle, known as the king of the sky have have learnt and practiced the power of Seclusion. At about 40 years old, its body begins to fail. Its talons grow long and flexible, unable to grip prey. Its beak becomes bent and heavy, pressing against its chest. Its old, thick feathers become too heavy for flight, making it hard to soar.
To survive, the Eagle enters a period of seclusion. She shut off or keep apart from company, society, etc.; withdraws from everything into solitude for 150 days (about five months). After this period, it enjoys renewal, growth and transformation and then lives another 30–40 years.
Sometimes you must withdraw from noise, people, things and all forms of distractions before you can have an encounter with destiny. GROWTH REQUIRES ISOLATION. TRANSFORMATION IS IMPOSSIBLE WITHOUT SECLUSION.
Jacob had an encounter with God when he was left alone. The world we live in is a noisy place. Many things like the phone in your hand, which was designed to enhance our lives, has become a distraction. There are Churches that holds services or activities everyday of the week - instead of improving you, they distract you. From the scripture above, the word "benefits" represents: blessings, opportunities, goodness and mercy. These are the things God has prepared for you today and this week. Guess what, everyone has a portion. You can't exhaust it. These blessings and opportunities, comes without limits, without bounds. You won't loose your portion.
BUT TO ACCESS YOUR PORTION, YOU NEED TO:
- Celebrate the gift of each day and the giver (God). Never approach the day without it. What you celebrate will appreciate.
- expect and look forward to receive your portion. Expectation is the mother of manifestation. You will loose your portion if you lack expectation.
- place a demand for your portion. Life is based on demand and supply.
- Set your life in order. Order attracts success, progress, opportunities. Living anyhow will only bring you just anything and anybody. SUCCESS HAS A TASTE.
- Prepare for each day. Preparation is the key to acceleration. It is what defines promotion.

Noah entered into the Ark with his family and the animals and the Ark was shut (locked) behind them. The Ark was tossed on everyside by the wind and storm. Do you know what this means? They lost their comfort, freedom and normal life just to stay alive. They equally lost friends, relatives, neighbours because they didn't believe nor obey to join them in the Ark. But Noah and family remained in isolation in the Ark FOR FORTY DAYS. It was traumatizing for them. But at the end, ALL THE TRAUMER ENDED.
Listen, this your traumer will also end. This your challenges, difficulties and devastating situation of life will also end. They will also pass, they will surely come to pass. HE CHANGETH TIMES AND SEASON! I so much love God's word. It gives balance to life. God's Word is the only thing that limits and unlimit God. God's Word is what determines what God will do and what He is doing at hand. God's Word is what validates every one of his thoughts, words and actions. Take a look at the scripture above.
God changes times and seasons. So both God's time and the time of life is subject to His authority and control. He can change them at will. Glory to God. God allows the time of life to run its course but He can adjust the time of life to fit into his plans. He can break protocol, suspend a law or principle to meet a need or fulfill his promises. Take for instance:
He made the sun stand still, Joshua 10:13. Sarah, who was past childbearing, conceived, Heb.11:11. He stopped death and raised Himself. Who told you it is over, who told you, you are finished, who told you there's nothing that can be done? Who told you, you can't marry and have kids? Who told you life has to take it's course? I'm glad to let you know, our God is in control of the course, times and seasons of life and He has the power to change them because of you. AT THE APPOINTED TIME, ACCORDING TO THE TIME OF LIFE.
In conclusion of our discussion earlier, God's appointed time speaks of the APPROVAL, while The Time of Life speaks of the ARRIVAL. God's appointed time centres on permission, while the time of life depends on preparation - process. So before anything is released to you, it must be approved or permitted. And before it gets to you, it must undergo the process of life. For instance, an expectant couple might conceive, but will still have to wait for 9months to have that baby.
You can't bypass the time of life. God has approved your promotion, settlement etc already. But the time of life must take it's cause. That is why the Lord told Abraham, it's according to God's timing and the time of life. However, the time of life depends on two things:
- your preparation (skill, planning, practice).
- your disposition (attitude, mindset).
Sometimes, we pray, cry for what we are not prepared for. To be a father of many nations and a father of faith require 25yrs of preparation. Jesus prepared for 30yrs in wood carrying before carrying the cross. Permission cannot override process - preparation. GOD'S TIME IS NOW, BUT IS THE PROCESS COMPLETE? ARE YOU PREPARED? Check your life once again, there are many unsettled issues, many unanswered prayers, many questions seeking a response, many challenges and troubles that needs attention, many expectations awaiting manifestations. But no solution seems in sight. YOU HAVE PRAYED, YOU HAVE EVEN FASTED, all efforts has been futile. Let's do something different:
TURN IT TO PRAISE. Don't ask for anything, don't push for anything; don't pray, don't cry, don't fear or worry, rather turn it to praise and thanksgivings. Praise God for those things and for everything now.
Instead of saying: father give me, bless me, answer me, remember me, rather say: father thank you for your blessings, thank you for the answered prayers, thank you for remembering me. Anything you would have ask for, thank him for it. And as you do, it will shift your focus from self to God, from what you lack to God's faithfulness and lastly, God will show up and the things you thanked him for will become a reality in Jesus precious name. Yesterday, the question was settled that: "There Is Nothing God Cannot Do". Today, the next question is this: WHEN WILL HE (GOD) DO IT?
This is the question in the heart of so many people. You believe God will do it, you believe nothing is impossible for him to do, BUT WHEN? WHEN WILL I COME OUT OF THIS MESS AND MISERY? In Psalm 13:1-2, King David also asked: how long, when? Well, the answer is in the scripture.
AT THE APPOINTED TIME, ACCORDING TO THE TIME OF LIFE. This are two seasons, two different times. They are not the same. There's a difference between God's appointed time and the time of life. Hold on.
God's appointed time speaks of when God gives a YES, an APPROVAL to your request while the time of life speaks of RECEIPT, final DELIVERY to you.
God has an appointed time. His appointed time is the best time. God is a God of times and seasons. God Himself is timeless, but his plans and agendas are time bound. He operates outside time but works with time. HE WILL NEVER DO ANYTHING AGAINST HIS TIME. Instead, He will adjust the time to suit his plans. No matter your troubles, challenges and how much you cry and pray, His respond and answer will always come at His time. His time and your time are not the same. But the beautiful part is this:
NOW, IS GOD'S APPOINTED TIME FOR YOU TO BE BLESSED. Now is God's appointed time for your change of story. Now is God's appointed time for your joy, gladness and celebration. You have waited for so long, NOW IS YOUR TIME. Your salvation is NOW. Hallelujah. Be blessed, Stay refreshed!

IS THERE ANYTHING TOO HARD FOR THE LORD? Think about it!
This question requires a personal response. And your personal response will be based on your personal conviction and revelation about God. But whatever your response is, understand that: God is not a man, God cannot change and THERE IS NOTHING TOO HARD FOR THE LORD TO DO.
Your situations right now might have overwhelmed you, it might have broken and devastated you. All doors seems closed and no help in sight. But I want to assure today, it doesn't change God, it doesn't make him a liar and God's word still stands: THERE IS NOTHING TOO HARD FOR THE LORD TO DO.
You might have prayed, served faithfully, giving and paid tithes committedly, and have done other things according to scripture and yet nothing has changed and you are exhausted already. Now, you ask: where is God, God are you still there? I am here to assure you: God is still close, He is too faithful to fail, He is too big to lie, He is too great to deny His word - THERE IS NOTHING TOO HARD FOR THE LORD TO DO.
Remember: THERE IS NOTHING TOO HARD FOR THE LORD TO DO. Don't give up, hold on, stay strong. I don't know how, but you are coming out stronger, God will come through for you. Be blessed, Stay refreshed!

STAND STILL, AND SEE GOD'S SALVATION!
Moses, gave them three (3) secret position and posture for victory. It also applies to all generations. What are they:
- FEAR NOT
- STAND STILL. This is more than a physical position or posture. THIS IS INNER STILLNESS - INNER CALMNESS. Stop panicking. It doesn't mean don't move or do nothing. It means stop worrying. There's a difference between fear and worry. Fear is emotional while worry is thought pattern. In Matthew 8:24, there was storm and great wave, BUT JESUS WAS ASLEEP - CALMNESS. Be still, be calm, stop worrying, trust God enough to go to sleep.
SEE THE SALVATION OF THE LORD.
You have to see it first before you have it. How can you see what is not available - impossible. But that is exactly what Moses told the Israelites to do. The enemies army is behind, the red sea is before and there's no escape route, yet he said: SEE GOD'S SALVATION. You have to see your healing, your success, your victory, your marital and financial settlement before it finally arrives. WHAT YOU DON'T SEE, YOU DON'T BECOME. The heights you don't see, you may never attain. Remember: Fear Not, Be Still, See Your Victory: this are the process to your desired victory. Now, get to work! Be blessed. Stay refreshed!
