    By Omodolapo Ogunye

    Good day,
Welcome to The Kitchen, where we explore, prepare and serve the contents in the Body of the Word as the delicacies of God—to create the form of the Father on the earth, to make the earth in His likeness, and to take charge of the economic destinies of nations for God.

Relax, and let's journey through the scriptures to see the Body of the Word.

What does God look like? And what if the Scriptures reveal more than words to read—what if they reveal the person of the Word, whose nature and activities the Father desires to express on earth?

In Revelation 1:1–2, 12–17, John the Apostle encountered Jesus Christ, the living Word of God. He saw someone like the Son of Man, whose head and hair were “white like wool, as white as snow,” whose eyes blazed like fire, whose feet glowed like bronze in a furnace, and whose face shone like the sun.

John was seeing more than an extraordinary appearance. He was seeing the person of the Word of God in a full body. Hebrews 1:3 describes the Son as “the radiance of God's glory and the exact representation of his being.” The body of the Word, therefore, reveals the image of the invisible God.

But why does this revelation matter to us today?

In Revelation 1:19, Jesus instructed John to write what he had seen, what was then, and what would take place later. The revelation of the Body of the Word is not merely a description to admire; it opens our understanding to the Father's work and how that work is to find expression on earth.

Jesus is opening the Scriptures through the detailed descriptions of His body. As He declared in John 5:39, the Scriptures testify about Him. And the Holy Spirit continues to reveal what belongs to Christ, for Jesus said, “He will take from what is mine and make it known to you” (John 16:15). This is why the Church must hear what the Spirit is saying (Revelation 2:7).

One striking revelation is that the Body of the Word is the clean food and pure offering of the Father.

Consider the description of Christ's head and hair as white like wool and as white as snow (Revelation 1:14). Daniel 7:9 similarly describes the Ancient of Days with clothing white as snow and hair like pure wool. In the language of this revelation, whiteness speaks of purity and cleanliness. Song of Solomon 5:15 also describes the beloved's appearance and body in the imagery of Lebanon, adding another picture to the scriptural descriptions of the Word.

Now connect this revelation to the words of Jesus in John 6:51: “I am the living bread that came down from heaven. This bread is my flesh.” He further declares that His flesh is real food and His blood real drink (John 6:55).

The body of the Word is presented as the food of God—clean, pure, and acceptable to Him. And the food of God is also His offering.

In Numbers 28:2, the Lord instructs His people to present His food at the appointed time: offerings made with fire, producing an aroma pleasing to Him. Malachi 1:11 speaks of incense and pure offerings being brought to His name among the nations.

Here is a profound question: What kind of offering are we presenting to the Father?

The revelation is that the Body of the Word is not simply food to be acknowledged; it is an offering to be prepared. Scripture describes this offering as being made with fire. Within this message, the fire represents the Father's intense, consuming hunger for the Body of the Word, expressed through the imagery of Isaiah 30:27 and the consuming fire described in Isaiah 33:14.

To “cook” the Body of the Word, therefore, is to listen to, study, and learn its detailed scriptural descriptions with the same intense hunger the Father has for it. It requires more than casually reading a passage. It calls for sustained attention, spiritual appetite, and a willingness to understand what the Scriptures reveal about the person of the Word.

The imagery of the bread of the Presence, set before the Lord continually (Exodus 25:30), reinforces the theme of continual presentation. The Body of the Word is portrayed as the Father's passion and pleasure, the food that refreshes and satisfies Him. Song of Solomon 2:3–5 describes delight in the beloved's shade and fruit, followed by the plea, “Strengthen me with raisins, refresh me with apples, for I am faint with love.”

These images invite us to consider the Father's longing for what is represented in the Body of the Word—and our responsibility to give ourselves to its revelation.

The central question is not merely whether we read the Scriptures, but whether we are learning to see the person of the Word in them. Are we approaching the Word with the hunger required to understand its contents, receive its revelation, and express the Father's work on earth?

The Body of the Word is the focus of this revelation: the image of the invisible God, the pure food of the Father, and His acceptable offering. Our task is to listen, learn, understand, and present this revelation with the devotion it demands.

May the Father grant us a deeper understanding of Himself through the revelation of the Body of the Word, in Jesus' name. Amen.

  • Polished Rice (The Economic Way. 9)
    The Kitchen by Omodolapo Ogunye

What if the economic way of God is hidden within the revelation of the Body of the Word?
In Polished Rice (The Economic Way. 9), The Kitchen explores the Body of the Word as the aggressive hunger of the Father and presents this as the economic and financial way of the Lord.
The episode argues that the Scriptures contain economic performances, but that these performances are activated through an understanding of the economic contents revealed in the Body of the Word. The central economic identity explored is particularly striking:
The Word of God is the Divider of Spoils.
Drawing from Genesis 49:27 and Isaiah 53:12, the episode presents the Word as the one who devours the prey and divides the spoil—a picture the teaching connects with the division of wealth, revenues and resources in the economic environments of nations.
The episode then takes this revelation further. If believers are co-heirs with Christ, they are invited to learn the activities of the Divider of Spoils and understand how this identity operates.
One of the strongest ideas in the episode is therefore:
“Without devouring the prey, he cannot divide the spoils.”

The episode connects this with Jesus' instruction, “Learn of me” (Matthew 11:29), presenting learning the activities of the Word as essential to participating in this economic inheritance.
    Recommendation
I recommend Polished Rice (The Economic Way. 9) particularly to entrepreneurs, investors, business leaders, economic thinkers and believers interested in exploring the economic dimensions of Scripture.
    Listen for the central progression:
The Body of the Word → The Father's aggressive hunger → The economic way of God → The Divider of Spoils → The wealth and revenues of nations.
This is an episode worth listening to slowly—not simply for information, but to consider the question:
What does it mean to learn the activities of the Divider of Spoils?
