  • My brethren, preach the Word; be instant in season and out of season. Do the work of an evangelist. Let your lips be filled with the testimony of the glorious Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Let your daily life and speech be the expression of this glorious Gospel. We are called to walk in love and righteousness. And one of the most effective ways to demonstrate God's love toward this generation is to declare the truth to the world, and this truth is the eternal Gospel.

Just like Jonah at Nineveh, we must use our lips, by the power of the Holy Spirit, to preach the Word of God. The world needs to see our lives of integrity and righteousness, but they also need to hear our voice. Jesus Christ lived righteously, but He also preached the Gospel to the people.

Every person around you is a living soul destined to spend eternity somewhere. Never let your friends or enemies spend eternity in hell without hearing the Gospel. Preach the Word and intercede for the lost and dying world. In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them (2 Corinthians 4:4). God designed that through us who believe, the light of the glorious Gospel of Jesus Christ might shine in this world. We must preach the Word.

Count the cost and pay the price for the sake of the lost and dying world. It pays to be a fellow labourer with our Lord Jesus Christ. No price is too much to pay for a single soul. Every tear, every sleepless night, every money spent, every outreach, and every other effort made to reach a single soul with the Gospel is worth it. Prioritize the work of an evangelist. Every believer is not called to the ministry office of an evangelist, but every believer is called to do the work of an evangelist. We must preach the Gospel.

How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher? And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things! (Romans 10:14–15).

We have been sent by the King of kings and Lord of lords to take the Gospel to the ends of the earth. We are filled with the Holy Spirit and equipped with the Word of God. Do not be a passive Christian; be active and on fire for God. Do the work of an evangelist. Support your pastor, support the evangelist, support the prophet, support the teacher, support the apostle. Send encouragement to a brother or sister. Let them know that they are not alone, for we are one family in Christ.

Pray without ceasing (1 Thessalonians 5:17). Maintain your intimacy with the Father of spirits, for fellowship is the mother of faith. The Word of God shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night (Joshua 1:8). Also pray for me, that utterance may be given unto me, that I may open my mouth boldly, to make known the mystery of the gospel. And that I remain faithful unto the Lord till the end.

I, Christian Uzoechi, by the grace of God, have written briefly, encouraging you to do the work of an evangelist. Fulfil your ministry. Endure hardships. Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee (Isaiah 26:3). Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God (Philippians 4:6). And when the Chief Shepherd shall appear, ye shall receive a crown of glory that fadeth not away (1 Peter 5:4).

The Lord Jesus Christ loves you with an everlasting love.

    Amen.

  • Christian Uzoechi, a servant of Jesus Christ by the will of God, graced with an excellent spirit, full of grace and truth in Christ.

To the Church of Jesus Christ, the glorious assembly of the Firstborn, dearly beloved, precious saints of the King of kings and Lord of lords.

Grace, joy, and peace from the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ be multiplied unto you.

My brethren, you are of God and have overcome them, for greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world (1 John 4:4). No matter what the enemy tries to throw across your path, you have already overcome, for in Christ, you are more than conquerors (Romans 8:37). For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil (1 John 3:8).

The Apostle Peter said, "Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you: But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ's sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy" (1 Peter 4:12–13). And according to James, "My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials" (James 1:2).

Count it all joy, brethren, for great is the Lord's faithfulness. The Lord never promised a Christian walk without trials. Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution (2 Timothy 3:12). But be encouraged by the amazing statement from the lips of the Lord Jesus in John 16:33: "Be of good cheer; I have overcome the world." Yes, we can be of good cheer in the midst of trials, for if it were impossible to rejoice in the midst of trials and persecutions, the Lord would have said otherwise. But He said, "Be of good cheer," and through brother James, He said, "Count it all joy."

Although we cannot stop the enemy from sending thoughts of worry, fear, and doubt, we can stop him from successfully projecting them into our minds. For it is written, "Resist the devil, and he will flee from you" (James 4:7). And according to 2 Corinthians 10:5, we can cast down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bring into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ.

Sometimes, it may not appear to be an easy thing to cast down these thoughts of worry, fear, and doubt, but we can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth us (Philippians 4:13). Glory to God! We have been crucified with Christ: nevertheless we live; yet not us, but Christ lives in us: and the life which we now live in the flesh we live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved us, and gave Himself for us (Galatians 2:20). Rest in the Lord of Glory, for we which have believed do enter into rest (Hebrews 4:3).

Brothers and sisters, do not let the trials stop you. Do not let the persecutions hinder you. Keep moving from glory to glory, and keep shining by the Power of the Holy Spirit. For it is written, "Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven" (Matthew 5:16). Keep walking in the light, even as He is in the light. Let sorrow be turned into joy. Let restlessness and confusion be turned into peace, for the Prince of Peace lives in you. Let your soul bless the Lord, and all that is within you bless His Holy Name (Psalm 103). The Lord is God.

Let the love of Christ continue to reign in your hearts. Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing instant in prayer (Romans 12:12).

Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy,

To the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen (Jude 1:24–25).

The Lord Jesus Christ loves you with an everlasting love.

    Amen.
