Then a young shepherd named David stepped forward.
He wasn’t a trained warrior. He had no heavy armor, no sword, and no shield. All he had was a sling, five small stones, and an unshakable faith in God. While others saw the size of the giant, David remembered the faithfulness of God who had helped him defeat lions and bears while protecting his sheep.
David looked at Goliath and boldly said,
“You come to me with sword, spear, and javelin, but I come to you in the name of the Lord Almighty.”
With courage and faith, David ran toward the giant. One stone from his sling flew through the air and struck Goliath on the forehead. In a moment, the giant who terrified an entire army fell to the ground.

victory does not come from strength, weapons, or size. True victory comes from trusting God.
