Recently a friend posted a meme, “Don’t flirt with Delilah, then complain when demons attack.!!” Judges 16

It’s sad to read that during the Great Tribulation, when the Apostle John hears the 5th Trumpet of 7 Trumpets signifying judgements on the earth. In Revelation 9:1 - 11 we read:
9 Then the fifth angel sounded: And I saw a star fallen from heaven to the earth. To him was given the key to the [a]bottomless pit. 2 And he opened the bottomless pit, and smoke arose out of the pit like the smoke of a great furnace. So the sun and the air were darkened because of the smoke of the pit. 3 Then out of the smoke locusts came upon the earth. And to them was given power, as the scorpions of the earth have power. 4 They were commanded not to harm the grass of the earth, or any green thing, or any tree, but only those men who do not have the seal of God on their foreheads. 5 And [b]they were not given authority to kill them, but to torment them for five months. Their torment was like the torment of a scorpion when it strikes a man. 6 In those days men will seek death and will not find it; they will desire to die, and death will flee from them.
7 The shape of the locusts was like horses prepared for battle. On their heads were crowns of something like gold, and their faces were like the faces of men. 8 They had hair like women’s hair, and their teeth were like lions’ teeth. 9 And they had breastplates like breastplates of iron, and the sound of their wings was like the sound of chariots with many horses running into battle. 10 They had tails like scorpions, and there were stings in their tails. Their power was to hurt men five months. 11 And they had as king over them the angel of the bottomless pit, whose name in Hebrew is Abaddon, but in Greek he has the name Apollyon.

Both names mean “Destroyer”.

The world will ignore the warning my friend posted and many godly Believers in Christ are trying to warn the world about. You see, these locust like creatures are in fact DEMONS. The description of them helps to warn us that they not your average run of the mill locusts.
First they have crowns of gold! This means they have authority! Authority over who? Anyone who does not have the mark of God on their forehead. I believe this mark is spiritual in nature and testifies that this man, woman, or child believes in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. In Zec
They have faces like men, this means these locusts are Intelligent. They can communicate with humans on our level! Next we are told they have hair like women. Because long hair on a woman is considered a sign of beauty or attractiveness. This means the locusts not only have authority, intelligence, but they will easily entice any unbeliever they encounter. Next we are told these locusts have teeth like lions with which they can tear apart their victim. Next we are told that these locust have breastplates of iron. Because at that time, iron was the strongest metal known. Now think about the description. In the natural, this sounds like someone was on a really bad acid trip. Locusts do not have crowns of gold on the heads, faces like men, long hairlike women, teeth like lions, and breastplates of iron. This alone makes for a scary thought. John then tells us that they have tails like scorpions and there were stings in their tails. They have power (ability) to inflict (authority) unbelievable torment on humans for 150 days and though humans will seek to die, death will flee from them. God had decreed that the demons would have permission to torment humans for 150 days. Note, the demons can torment humans but they are not permitted to kill them.
Those who believe that they will just party in hell with their friends will not want to be alive at this time in history. I pray that you turn your heart to Christ so that whether the Rapture occurs before or during the Tribulation. You will be protected from this terrible judgment.

“You shall not add to the word which I command you, nor take from it, that you may keep the commandments of the Lord your God which I command you.” Deuteronomy 4:2

If you’re like me you would say, “This applies to the written word of God. I found out first hand that this applies to both the written word of God and to what He tells me to do or not do.
Back in 1999, I was working for the Principal Financial Group in Des Moines, Iowa. The Lord told me to ask a female co-worker (and fellow believer in Christ) out on a date. I was very reluctant at first to do so. Once the Lord convinced me to obey Him, I did ask her out.
She turned me down. I was very upset with God for telling me to ask her out. I had planned the date (all very appropriately) for the night she and I would go out. When she turned me down, I got very belligerent with God because she said, “No.”
When I complained to God about this, His answer to me was “What’s the problem?” Now for anyone who has the Spiritual Gift of Teaching, you will fully understand my reaction. You are probably laughing hysterically right now.
I lost it. I even accused God of “Being Dense”. The conversation went along these lines:

Me: God, you told me to ask her out and she turned me down!
God: So what’s the problem?
Me: [Very belligerently] I did what YOU told me to do and she turned me down!
God: Okay, you asked her out. What’s the problem?
Me: [Exasperated now.] Are You Dense? You, told me to take her on a date. She said, no.
God: Fredrick, I told you to ask her out. I never told you to take her on a date.
I got immediately humbled that I had added to His Word to me and failed to just do what He told me to do and wait for further instructions.

Here's something I once read, "Do Not go forth on the 4th with a Fifth, or you may not be around to go forth on the 5th." Be responsible.
