• Good evening, brethren.

    1. Evening devotion for today.

    ED.i. *DAILY WALK WITH CHRIST*
    (COCIN DEVOTIONAL)

    *DATE:*
    SUNDAY 11TH OCTOBER, 2026.

    *SUB-THEME:*
    BENEFITS OF GRACE.

    *TOPIC:*
    ADOPTION.

    *TEXTS:*
    EPHESIANS 1:4-6, GALATIANS 4:4-5.

    *EPHESIANS 1:4-6.*
    4. For He chose us in Him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in His sight. In love
    5. He predestined us for adoption to sonship through Jesus Christ, in accordance with His pleasure and will
    6. to the praise of His glorious grace, which He has freely given us in the One He loves.

    *GALATIANS 4:4-5.*
    4. But when the set time had fully come, God sent His Son, born of a woman, born under the law,
    5. to redeem those under the law, that we might receive adoption to sonship.

    *TOPIC:*
    ADOPTION.

    *THE MESSAGE:*
    Adoption is the action or fact of legally taking another's child and bringing it up as one's own. Biblically, adoption refers to God's act of welcoming believers into His family, granting them the status of children and heirs, as well as offering them salvation and a new relationship with Him. This new identity also grants them a whole inheritance in God's kingdom. This is a clear demonstration of God's grace to humanity, especially the Gentiles (Rom. 8:14-17). It is disheartening when children from privileged backgrounds live miserably. Therefore, believers should not take their privilege and honour for granted. How is your relationship with your new Father? Cherish your new status, live holy as an obedient child. Do not desire your former sinful life that seeks to please Satan.

    *REFLECTION:*
    Be a proud child of your new Father.

    *PRAYER:*
    Thank You, Lord, for adopting me. Amen.

    *MEMORY VERSE FOR THE MONTH:*
    TITUS 2:11.
    For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men.

    *TODAY'S BIBLE READING PLAN:*
    MARK 4-5.

    ED.ii. THE SLEEPING BRIDE

    "I was asleep, but dreaming: The one I love was at the door, knocking and saying: 'My darling, my very own, my flawless dove, open the door for me!'" - Songs of Solomon 5:2

    How can a bride sleep when the groom is on the way to fetch her? You understand that this is not possible. The bride says: 'I was dreaming.' The Bride (the Church) is not allowed to sleep today, because we are expecting our Bridegroom, the Lord Jesus Christ. We are happy, we sing and wait. He has not come back yet, but He is on His way. We know that He will come. Some think they have the right to go to sleep, but they are wrong. There is a huge need in this world. The harvest must be brought in.

    Be awake

    How can we sleep now? This is impossible. We have to work as long as it is daytime. There is no time to slumber and sleep. This is the message the Church should convey to the children of God. You should also be awake so that He does not come to you like a thief in the night. 'Yes, but I am tired. The fight is too tough. I want to stop!' This is not possible though! It is a matter of life and death.

    The condition of most Christians

    The bride from the Songs of Solomon slept while her heart was awake. That is the condition of most Christians today. They are spiritually sleeping, but in their hearts, they do not want to sleep at all because they love the Lord Jesus Christ. The true Christian is not satisfied with a sleeping attitude. The Divine life in you wants to follow the Lord's path and wants to stay awake. 'The spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak' (Matthew 26:41).

    Is your heart awake?

    I have a question for you: is your heart awake? If so, you cannot be satisfied with being asleep. You will have no rest. Go back to the Bridegroom today and say: 'I have found my Beloved and I will never let Him go.'

    2. Evening Prayer for today.

    EP.i. Evening Prayer

    A Song of degrees of David. I was glad when they said unto me, Let us go into the house of the LORD. ⏤ Psalm 122:1

    Prayer is the way you defeat the devil, reach the lost, restore a backslider, strengthen the saints, send missionaries out, cure the sick, accomplish the impossible, and know the will of God. ⏤ David Jeremiah

    At the end of Your holy day, our Father, we come to You with our evening prayers. May our prayers rise to You like incense. We thank You for what this day has brought us—rest, spiritual help, and instruction in divine things. We thank You for the glimpses of truth we’ve received as we’ve read Your word. We’re grateful for the good impulses and desires that have stirred in our hearts.

    Make us strong to face life’s struggles. Give us more peace and confidence amid the world’s chaos and conflicts. May the holy influences of Sunday stay with us like sweet songs, and may we carry the music of gladness wherever we go in the coming week. May the light that has shone on us today make our faces brighter, so we can shine as lights in the world. May the kind thoughts and desires kindled in us by the Holy Spirit drive us to serve others as we go about our lives. In every way, may we carry a blessing into our daily lives that makes the world a little brighter and brings new joy to many hearts.

    Bless the preaching of Your word everywhere today. May Your people be strengthened, the sorrowful comforted, and may many find new life in You starting this Sunday. May the world be holier, filled with more of the Spirit of Jesus, because Your people have remembered You today and have called down blessings on others. Pour out a large measure of Your love.

    Forgive all our sins and failures in duty, and grant us Your grace and peace as we lie down to sleep. We ask all this through Jesus Christ, our Savior. Amen.

  • Our Refuge and Our Rock

    A Devotional for October 11, 2026

    Life does not always offer a clear path or a steady place to stand. Plans change, strength fades, and questions remain unanswered. Yet Psalm 18:30–31 directs our attention to the One whose character never shifts: “As for God, His way is perfect; the word of the LORD is flawless.”

    God’s perfect way does not mean our journey will be easy or that we will understand every turn. David knew danger, opposition, and waiting. His confidence grew from discovering that God remained faithful through them all. We can trust God’s wisdom even when our understanding reaches its limits. His promises carry no deception, and His goodness does not depend on our circumstances.

    The psalm also declares that God “is a shield to all who take refuge in Him.” Taking refuge is an act of dependence. We bring Him our fears, seek His direction, and entrust ourselves to His care. This promise does not suggest that suffering will never touch us. It assures us that we have somewhere to turn when it does. God welcomes those who come to Him for shelter.

    “And who is the Rock except our God?” Our emotions can shift within minutes, and the things we rely on can prove fragile. God remains a sure foundation. His faithfulness gives us reason to obey, courage to endure, and hope when the next step feels uncertain.

    Today, bring one specific concern before the Lord. Let His Word guide your response instead of allowing fear to make the decision. Take the next faithful step, trusting that the God whose way is perfect is worthy of your confidence.

    Lord, teach us to trust Your wisdom when the way is unclear. Quiet our fears with Your faithful Word, and help us find our refuge in You. Be our strength as we stand upon You, our unchanging Rock. Amen.

  • Daily Devotion — October 11 | Romans 8:37 (NKJV)

    Victory Does Not Mean We Never Face a Battle

    Romans 8:37 is sometimes quoted as though being “more than conquerors” means believers should experience a life without serious hardship. The surrounding verses teach exactly the opposite. Paul speaks about tribulation, distress, persecution, famine, nakedness, peril, and sword. His confidence is not that Christians will avoid every battle, but that none of those battles can separate them from the love of Christ.

    That gives biblical victory a much deeper meaning. Sometimes victory is God removing the problem, but other times victory is God giving us the strength to remain faithful while walking through it. A difficult season does not automatically mean we are losing. We may be experiencing enormous pressure while God is producing endurance, faith, character, wisdom, and deeper dependence upon Him.

    This matters because we often measure victory by visible outcomes. We think we are winning when the business succeeds, the relationship improves, the prayer is answered exactly as requested, the financial pressure disappears, or the difficult person changes. Those outcomes can certainly be blessings, but Romans 8 gives us a stronger definition of victory: whatever happens around us, nothing can separate us from Christ's love.

    That truth protects us from allowing circumstances to determine God's character. When life is going well, it can be easy to say God is good. When everything begins falling apart, we may start wondering whether He still loves us. Paul anchors God's love somewhere much stronger than favorable circumstances. Christ has already demonstrated His love, and no trial has enough power to separate believers from Him.

    Being more than conquerors also changes how we approach adversity. We do not have to enter every difficult situation assuming it will destroy us. We can honestly acknowledge that something is painful, frightening, exhausting, or uncertain while remembering that Jesus remains with us. Courage is not pretending we are never afraid; courage is continuing to trust and obey Christ even when fear is present.

    There are also battles where victory means refusing to become what the trial is tempting us to become. Someone hurts us, but we refuse to live in bitterness. Financial pressure comes, but we refuse dishonest shortcuts. We are criticized unfairly, but we refuse revenge. Temptation becomes intense, but we continue resisting. A prayer remains unanswered, but we continue trusting God. These victories may not look dramatic from the outside, but spiritually they are significant because the trial did not pull us away from Christ.

    Romans 8 closes by reminding believers that neither death nor life, angels nor principalities, things present nor things to come, height nor depth, nor any other created thing can separate us from God's love in Christ Jesus. Our greatest victory is therefore not that nothing difficult will ever happen. Our victory is that nothing difficult can ultimately take Christ away from us.

    Reflection Questions

    1. Have I been defining victory only by whether my circumstances turn out the way I want?
    2. What current battle is tempting me toward fear, bitterness, compromise, dishonesty, or hopelessness?
    3. How would I approach my present difficulty differently if I truly believed nothing could separate me from the love of Christ?

    Prayer

    Heavenly Father, thank You that through Jesus Christ I am more than a conqueror. Help me understand that victory does not mean I will never experience difficulty, disappointment, temptation, or suffering. When trials come, give me strength to remain faithful and keep my heart from bitterness, fear, compromise, or hopelessness. Remind me that Your love is not measured by how easy my circumstances are and that nothing can separate me from Christ. Give me courage to face today's battles knowing that Jesus has already secured my greatest victory. In Jesus' name, Amen.

    Practical Application

    - Identify the current battle consuming most of your attention and ask what faithfulness to Christ looks like within it today.
    - Stop measuring God's love solely by whether your circumstances are improving.
    - When pressure tempts you toward compromise, decide beforehand that obedience is more important than obtaining an easier outcome.
    - If someone has hurt you, refuse to allow their actions to turn bitterness into your next spiritual battle.
    - When fear rises, remind yourself that the trial may affect your circumstances, but it cannot separate you from the love of Christ.

    We Learn Three Things From This Devotional

    - Victory does not mean the absence of battles. Being more than a conqueror does not mean Christians avoid hardship; it means hardship does not have the final authority over us. Through Christ, we can remain faithful even when circumstances are painful, uncertain, or completely different from what we wanted.
    - Some of our greatest victories happen inside us before circumstances ever change. Refusing bitterness when someone hurts us, rejecting compromise under financial pressure, resisting temptation when nobody is watching, and continuing to trust God when prayers seem unanswered are genuine spiritual victories.
    - Nothing can separate us from the love of Christ. Circumstances can change, people can disappoint us, plans can fail, and difficult seasons can come, but none of those things can remove Jesus from our lives. Our greatest victory is not that every battle ends the way we want; it is knowing that whatever happens, we still belong to Christ.

    Acorns, Turtles, and a Message From God.

    By Adam Dean

    October 11th, 2026

    “From the end of the earth I will cry to You, when my heart is overwhelmed; lead me to the rock that is higher than I.”

    Psalm 61:2

    It was October 2005, and I had a big decision to make. Feeling the pressure of not knowing what to do, I went for a walk near my home in the hills of Bella Vista, Arkansas. I’ve always found it comforting to go for a walk while praying—being alone with the Lord, pouring out my heart to Him.

    I started praying about the decisions I had to make, asking God to give me peace and guidance. The neighborhood where I went for walks was full of big, beautiful pine and oak trees, and it was a great place to be alone with the Lord. But as I walked and prayed that morning, my attention was drawn to some acorns on the ground. I’d seen plenty of acorns in the past, but I’d never taken the time to really look at one. So I bent down, picked one up, and began to marvel over its design. What incredible detail was packaged into this tiny creation of God! My mind was filled with thoughts of admiration as I meditated on God’s creative power.

    Just a little farther down the road, I noticed other acorns that were still green; and to my surprise, the design of their little acorn caps was different from the previous ones. Wow! What an awesome Creator we serve, I thought, and what wonderful detail and variety He provides, even in the smallest of His creations.

    By this time, some of my favorite Bible texts were coming to mind. Revelation 4:11 says, “You are worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honor and power; for You created all things, and by Your will they exist and were created.” Then I thought of Job 37:14 that says, “Listen to this, O Job; stand still and consider the wondrous works of God.”

    With fresh promises in my heart, I continued my walk as I praised God for reminding me that no detail of my life was too small for Him to notice. My worry about the decision I had to make was gone.

    Then I spied a small turtle up ahead. He was right in the middle of the road, just sitting there. My first thought was to move him into the grass before he was run over, so I approached him and gently scooted him off the pavement. Then it hit me. It was almost as if the Lord had tapped me on the shoulder and said, If you have the compassion to move a turtle out of harm’s way, don’t you think I would do the same for you? That thought rang clearly in my mind and I asked the Lord to forgive me for worrying so much about my problem, instead of focusing on Him.

    God is certainly good to me, but sadly, I tend to forget just how loving and kind my Heavenly Father really is. “Through the Lord’s mercies we are not consumed, because His compassions fail not. They are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness.” Lamentations 3:22–23. I can trust Him, for He knows what is best for me.

    The Lord provided strength and encouragement on my walk that day, and He helped me have peace about the decision I had to make. God’s Creation can teach me precious lessons of obedience and trust—if I only listen!

    He is a Living God.

    The Lord is the true God, he is the living God, and an everlasting king. Jeremiah 10:10

    “My presence shall go with thee” (Exodus 33:14), was the promise given during the journey through the wilderness. This assurance was accompanied by a marvelous revelation of Jehovah’s character, which enabled Moses to proclaim to all Israel the goodness of God and to instruct them fully concerning the attributes of their invisible King....

    Till the close of his long life of patient ministry Moses continued his exhortations to Israel to keep their eyes fixed on their divine Ruler....

    With what confidence had Moses assured the Israelites of the merciful attributes of Jehovah! Often during the wilderness sojourn he had pleaded with God in behalf of erring Israel, and the Lord had spared them....

    The prophet pleaded the marvelous providences and promises of God in behalf of the chosen nation. And then, as the strongest of all pleas, he urged the love of God for fallen man.... “Pardon, I beseech Thee, the iniquity of this people according unto the greatness of Thy mercy, and as thou hast forgiven this people, from Egypt even until now.” ...

    Graciously the Lord responded, “I have pardoned according to thy word.” And then He imparted to Moses, in the form of a prophecy, a knowledge of His purpose concerning the final triumph of His chosen people. “As truly as I live,” He declared, “all the earth shall be filled with the glory of the Lord.” ... God’s glory, His character, His merciful kindness and tender love—all that Moses had pleaded in behalf of Israel was to be revealed to all mankind. And this promise of Jehovah was made doubly sure; it was confirmed by an oath. As surely as God lives and reigns, His glory shall be declared “among the heathen, His wonders among all people.” [289]

    DON'T LET THE WORLD CHANGE YOU—LET GOD TRANSFORM YOU!

    Stop Conforming to What Is Around You and Start Becoming Who God Has Called You to Be!

    SCRIPTURE READING: Romans 12:1–2 (KJV)

    “I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.

    And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.”

    KEY SCRIPTURE: Romans 12:2 (KJV)

    “And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.”

    Thought Of The Day...

    You cannot live a transformed life while holding on to an unchanged mind. God is not calling us to fit into the world—He is calling us to be transformed by His Word!

    Something To Think About...

    Good Sunday Morning, Family!
    As we prepare our hearts to enter the house of the Lord, we must ask ourselves an important question: Are we allowing God to transform our lives, or are we allowing the world to shape who we are becoming?

    The Apostle Paul reminds us that serving God requires more than attending church, singing songs, or knowing Scripture. It requires a surrendered life, a renewed mind, and a heart committed to doing the will of God.

    In Romans 12:1, Paul challenges believers to present their bodies as a living sacrifice. This means our worship should not end when the Sunday morning service is over. Our worship must be reflected in how we live, speak, think, forgive, love, and treat others throughout the week.

    Then, in verse 2, Paul gives us two powerful instructions:

    1. STOP CONFORMING TO THE WORLD!

    The world will constantly pressure us to compromise our convictions, lower our standards, and accept what God has called us to reject.

    But as believers, we are called to be different—not because we are better than anyone else, but because we belong to Jesus Christ!

    1 John 2:15 (KJV) reminds us:

    “Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world.”

    We cannot allow the culture around us to become more influential than the Christ who lives within us.

    2. ALLOW GOD TO TRANSFORM YOUR MIND!

    Transformation begins on the inside before it becomes visible on the outside.

    When God renews our minds through His Word, He changes how we respond to difficulties, how we handle disappointments, how we view people, and how we make decisions.

    Philippians 2:5 (KJV) declares:

    “Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:”

    You cannot consistently think like the world and expect to live like Christ.

    The more we fill our minds with God's Word, the more our lives should reflect His character.

    3. SURRENDER YOUR WILL TO GOD'S WILL!

    Paul concludes by reminding us that a renewed mind helps us discern what is good, acceptable, and perfect in the will of God.

    Sometimes we want God to bless our plans when He is calling us to surrender to His purpose.

    We must stop asking God to approve everything we desire and start asking Him to shape our desires according to His will.

    Proverbs 3:5–6 (KJV) reminds us:

    “Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.”

    A Word of Encouragement...

    Family, don't come into worship this morning simply looking for a temporary emotional experience. Come expecting God to do a lasting work in your heart!

    Don't just ask God to change your circumstances—ask Him to change your perspective.

    Don't just ask Him to remove your struggles—ask Him to strengthen your faith.

    Don't just ask Him to open doors—ask Him to prepare you for what is on the other side.

    Because when God changes the way you think, He begins changing the way you live!

    Prayer...
    Heavenly Father,
    On this beautiful Sunday morning, we come before Your presence with grateful hearts, thanking You for another opportunity to worship, praise, and glorify Your holy name.

    Lord, we surrender our hearts, minds, bodies, and desires to You. Forgive us for the times we have allowed the pressures of this world to influence our decisions more than Your Word.

    Father, renew our minds! Remove every thought that contradicts Your truth. Break every unhealthy mindset, every ungodly habit, and every attitude that prevents us from becoming who You have called us to be.

    Lord, as we enter Your house today, prepare our hearts to receive Your Word. Let us not merely be hearers, but doers of Your Word. Transform our thinking, strengthen our convictions, deepen our faith, and help us walk in obedience.

    Bless every pastor, minister, worship leader, and servant who will minister today. Let Your Word bring salvation to the lost, restoration to the broken, healing to the hurting, and renewed strength to those who are weary.

    And Father, when we leave the sanctuary, help us carry Your presence into our homes, workplaces, families, and communities.

    May our worship extend beyond Sunday, our faith remain strong through Monday, and our lives continually reflect Jesus Christ!

    We surrender our will to Your will, our plans to Your purpose, and our lives to Your glory.

    In the mighty, matchless, and powerful name of Jesus Christ, we pray.

    AMEN!

    Today's Task....

    Before you enter worship today, ask yourself:

    • What areas of my life have I allowed the world to influence?

    • What thoughts or attitudes do I need God to renew?

    • Am I truly surrendering my life to God's will?

    Remember...

    GOD DID NOT SAVE YOU TO LOOK LIKE THE WORLD. HE SAVED YOU TO REFLECT CHRIST IN THE WORLD!

    “But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.” — James 1:22 (KJV)

    YOUR WORD IS MY LIGHT

    Psalm 119:105 AMP
    “Your word is a lamp to my feet And a light to my path.”

    DEVOTIONAL

    Have you ever stood in the dark and tried to find your way without knowing where to step? Even a familiar path can become frightening when you cannot see what is ahead.

    Life can feel the same way.

    There are seasons when we don't know which decision to make, which direction to take, or what tomorrow will bring. We may wish God would show us the entire journey at once, but He often gives us something better: His Word to guide our next step.

    God's Word is a lamp to our feet. A lamp gives enough light to see where you are standing and what step you should take next. You may not see the whole road, but you don't have to. God asks you to trust Him one step at a time.

    His Word is also a light to your path. Scripture gives us wisdom, direction, correction, encouragement, and hope. When confusion surrounds you, God's truth brings clarity. When fear tells you to turn back, His promises remind you that He is with you.
    You don't need to have your entire future figured out today.

    Stay close to God's Word. Read it. Believe it. Pray over it. Walk according to it.
    When His Word lights your path, you never have to walk alone in the dark.

    PRAYER
    Heavenly Father,
    thank You for giving me Your Word to guide me through life. When I don't know which way to go, help me turn to You instead of relying only on my own understanding.
    Let Your Word shine into every area of my life. Give me wisdom for my decisions, courage for my next step, and faith when I cannot see what lies ahead.
    Help me not to rush ahead of You or become discouraged when I cannot see the whole path. Teach me to trust You one step at a time.
    May Your Word always be a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.
    In Jesus' name, Amen.

    TODAY'S THOUGHT
    I don't need to see the whole road. I only need to follow the light God gives me for the next step.

    PUT IT INTO PRACTICE
    Today, before making an important decision, pause and spend time in God's Word. Ask Him:
    “Lord, what are You showing me through Your Word today?”
    Write down one truth or promise from Scripture that you can carry with you throughout the day.

    SUNDAY OCTOBER 11, 2026

    CAN THESE BONES LIVE AGAIN?

    Scriptural Anchor: Ezekiel 37:1–14

    Prophetic Core: The question God asked Ezekiel in the valley of slaughter becomes the confrontational question standing before your soul today: Do you believe what your eyes report, or do you believe what the mouth of God decrees?

    Memory Verse

    "And he said unto me, Son of man, can these bones live? And I answered, O Lord GOD, thou knowest."— Ezekiel 37:3

    Supporting Scriptures
    Romans 4:17 — God who gives life to the dead and calls those things which be not as though they were.

    John 11:25–26 — Jesus declared unto Martha: "I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live."

    2 Corinthians 1:9 — Having the sentence of death in ourselves, that we should not trust in ourselves, but in God which raiseth the dead.

    Ephesians 2:1, 4–5 — You hath He quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins; God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive together with Christ.

    Jeremiah 32:27 — "Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh: is there any thing too hard for me?"

    Isaiah 55:10–11 — The Word that goes forth out of His mouth shall not return void, but shall accomplish that which He pleases.

    Opening Thought

    God never walks you into a cemetery to ask your professional medical opinion. When the Lord God carried Ezekiel into the middle of that open valley, He did not ask for a human analysis of calcium, decay, or historical defeat. He asked one question that exposed the entire boundary of the prophet’s faith: "Son of man, can these bones live?" Most believers do not live in rebellion against God; they live in quiet surrender to the graveyard. You look at your dry prayer life, your ruined home, your shattered children, and your broken purity, and without saying a word, your heart whispers: "It is too late." But hear the trumpet of the sanctuary: the valley of dry bones is not the place where God writes an obituary; it is the holy workshop where He demonstrates that resurrection is not merely an event—it is a Person.

    Main Exposition

    In Ezekiel chapter thirty-seven, notice the terrible setting before a single miracle takes place. The hand of the Lord fell upon the prophet, carried him out in the Spirit, and set him down in the midst of a valley full of bones. Verse two says the Lord caused him to pass by them round about, and behold, there were very many in the open valley, and lo, they were very dry.

    Do not miss the apostolic significance of that walk. God made the prophet look at the disaster until all human hope bled out of his soul. They were not fresh corpses that could be revived by modern mouth-to-mouth resuscitation. They were bleached, sun-scorched, disconnected bones scattered across the dirt. The marrow was gone. The meat was gone. The identity was gone. It looked like the absolute, final, mocking victory of death.

    Then the Almighty breaks the silence with a question that strips away all religious masks: "Son of man, can these bones live?"

    Ezekiel gave the only answer a broken, humble vessel could utter: "O Lord GOD, thou knowest."

    He was saying: "Lord, according to earth, this is a permanent cemetery. But according to heaven, You have the final word on what breathes."

    Notice what God told him to do next. He did not tell Ezekiel to weep over the bones, hold a symposium about the bones, or try to organize the bones with human hands. God commanded him: "Prophesy upon these bones, and say unto them, O ye dry bones, hear the word of the LORD!"

    Think of how ridiculous this looks to natural human reason! A grown man standing in the middle of a sun-baked ravine, preaching sermons to bleached skeletons. The carnal mind screams that this is insanity. But the kingdom of God does not operate on human logic; it operates on the divine decree! The bones did not need a lecture on how they died; they needed the creative, living, eternal Word of the living God, remember that ""they that hear HIS VOICE (WORD) SHALL LIVE)- John5:25!

    As Ezekiel opened his mouth and prophesied as he was commanded, something began to shake beneath the sand. Verse seven says: "There was a noise, and behold a shaking, and the bones came together, bone to his bone."

    First came the sound—a divine disturbance in the graveyard. Then came the divine alignment. The foot bone found the ankle; the ankle found the shin; the ribs locked back into the spine. Sinews and flesh came up over them, and the skin covered them from above. But verse eight gives a sobering warning that every modern church worker must hear: "there was no breath in them."

    You can have structure without the Spirit. You can have organization without the breath of God. You can look like a handsome body and still be a corpse in the eyes of heaven!

    So the Lord spoke a second time: "Prophesy unto the wind, prophesy, son of man, and say to the wind, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe upon these slain, that they may live."

    When Ezekiel spoke the second time, the ruach—the holy, supernatural breath of the Almighty—swept down through the valley! Breath entered into them, they lived, and they stood up upon their feet, an exceeding great army!

    Look at what God did with dry rubbish. He did not merely make them survive; He turned a pile of white bones into a marching army of war!

    What area of your life have you surrendered to the undertaker? Is it your holy calling? Is it the fire that used to burn on your secret prayer altar? Is it a son or daughter lost in the sewage of this world? Stop measuring the power of God by the dryness of the bone!

    At the cross of Calvary, Jesus took on the full horror of human death. In the tomb of Joseph of Arimathea, His flesh lay cold for three days. But early on Sunday morning, the breath of the eternal Spirit split the stone wide open, and the Prince of Life stepped forth, holding the keys of hell and death! Because Christ lives, no valley in your life is allowed to remain dead if you will dare to prophesy His Word over it today!

    Scriptural Quotable Quotes

    "The graveyard is never an obstacle to God; it is merely the raw material for His resurrection glory."

    "Human hands can only gather the bones and weep over the ruins; only the breath of Jesus can turn the dead into an army."

    "Unbelief looks at the valley and builds a tombstone; faith looks at the valley and waits for the shaking."

    "When Christ speaks to your dry bones, death loses its legal right to hold the pieces."

    Ruthless Prophetic Prayer of Resurrection

    (Stand on your feet right now, lift both hands toward heaven, take a deep breath of the air God gave you, and declare this with violent apostolic faith)

    Lord God Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth, God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob!

    I stand before Your holy presence today under the blood of the Lamb. I bring every dry, dead, bleached, and broken area of my life into Your valley right now.

    I repent for agreeing with death. I repent for weeping over what You told me to confront. I repent for every time my mouth agreed with the enemy’s report instead of standing on Your Word.

    By the authority in the name of Jesus Christ, I open my mouth and I prophesy to every dry bone in my life!

    You dead spiritual altar, hear the Word of the Lord! You dry prayer life, hear the Word of the Lord! You scattered bones of my family, my health, my mind, and my calling, COME TOGETHER RIGHT NOW!

    I decree a divine disturbance in every graveyard the devil built around my destiny! Let the bones find their bones! Let the sinews, the flesh, and the skin come up!

    O Holy Ghost, breath of the living God, blow from the four winds! Blow upon my life! Blow upon my spirit! Breathe life into every dead promise!

    I declare that I will not die in this valley! I will not be buried by the past! I stand up on my feet today—not as a tired victim, not as a wounded captive, but as an exceeding great soldier in the army of Jesus Christ!

    Death is swallowed up in victory! The grave is empty! Jesus is Lord!

    In the mighty, matchless, resurrection name of JESUS CHRIST,
    AMEN! AMEN! AND AMEN!

They were bleached, sun-scorched, disconnected bones scattered across the dirt. The marrow was gone. The meat was gone. The identity was gone. It looked like the absolute, final, mocking victory of death. Then the Almighty breaks the silence with a question that strips away all religious masks: "Son of man, can these bones live?" Ezekiel gave the only answer a broken, humble vessel could utter: "O Lord GOD, thou knowest." He was saying: "Lord, according to earth, this is a permanent cemetery. But according to heaven, You have the final word on what breathes." Notice what God told him to do next. He did not tell Ezekiel to weep over the bones, hold a symposium about the bones, or try to organize the bones with human hands. God commanded him: "Prophesy upon these bones, and say unto them, O ye dry bones, hear the word of the LORD!" Think of how ridiculous this looks to natural human reason! Verse seven says: "There was a noise, and behold a shaking, and the bones came together, bone to his bone." First came the sound—a divine disturbance in the graveyard. Then came the divine alignment. The foot bone found the ankle; the ankle found the shin; the ribs locked back into the spine. Sinews and flesh came up over them, and the skin covered them from above. But verse eight gives a sobering warning that every modern church worker must hear: "there was no breath in them." You can have structure without the Spirit. You can have organization without the breath of God. You can look like a handsome body and still be a corpse in the eyes of heaven! So the Lord spoke a second time: "Prophesy unto the wind, prophesy, son of man, and say to the wind, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe upon these slain, that they may live." When Ezekiel spoke the second time, the ruach—the holy, supernatural breath of the Almighty—swept down through the valley! Scriptural Quotable Quotes "The graveyard is never an obstacle to God; it is merely the raw material for His resurrection glory." "Human hands can only gather the bones and weep over the ruins; only the breath of Jesus can turn the dead into an army." "Unbelief looks at the valley and builds a tombstone; faith looks at the valley and waits for the shaking." "When Christ speaks to your dry bones, death loses its legal right to hold the pieces." Ruthless Prophetic Prayer of Resurrection (Stand on your feet right now, lift both hands toward heaven, take a deep breath of the air God gave you, and declare this with violent apostolic faith) Lord God Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth, God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob! In the mighty, matchless, resurrection name of JESUS CHRIST, AMEN! AMEN! AND AMEN!

  • Good morning, brethren.

    1. Morning devotion for today.

    MD.i. MORNING TEA
    THE WORD FOR TODAY.
    SUNDAY OCTOBER 11, 2O26.
    "YOU'VE GOT TO WORK AT IT!"

    …Well informed, quick to understand…qualifier to serve…’ Daniel 1:4 NIV

    WHEN NEBUCHADNEZZAR captured the Jews, he told his Chief of Staff to look for the brightest and best, and bring them to his palace. He wanted the following qualities: ‘Showing aptitude for every kind of learning, well informed, quick to understand, and qualified to serve in the king’s palace.’ Daniel seized the opportunity. Yes, God gave him favour, but he also had to work at it! The CEO of one of the world’s largest companies put it this way: ‘The only way you’re going to stand out, is to grasp this simple principle: When your boss asks you a question, assigns you a project or sends you to gather data, he already knows the answer he’s looking for. He just wants you to confirm that what he believes is true. Most people do just that. But there’s a difference. You must understand that the question is only the beginning. To elevate yourself, you must sink your thoughts into not only answering the question, but going above and beyond it. That means presenting him with three or four other ideas that he’d probably not considered. Your goal should be to add value to the idea by exceeding expectations. This is true not only with questions, but assignments, initiatives, and anything else ever given you to do. If you understand that the question is only the beginning, you’ll get out of the pile fast, because 99 percent of all employees stay in the pile because they don’t think. If you understand this principle, you’ll be given even more critical questions to answer, and in time, you will be the one giving the questions to others.’

    *THE POWER OF HUMILITY BEFORE GOD*

    *TEXT:* 2 KINGS 1:13–18*

    13. And he sent again a captain of the third fifty with his fifty. And the third captain of fifty went up, and came and fell on his knees before Elijah, and besought him, and said unto him, O man of God, I pray thee, let my life, and the life of these fifty thy servants, be precious in thy sight.
    14. Behold, there came fire down from heaven, and burnt up the two captains of the former fifties with their fifties: therefore let my life now be precious in thy sight.
    15. And the angel of the LORD said unto Elijah, Go down with him: be not afraid of him. And he arose, and went down with him unto the king.
    16. And he said unto him, Thus saith the LORD, Forasmuch as thou hast sent messengers to enquire of Baalzebub the god of Ekron, is it not because there is no God in Israel to enquire of his word? therefore thou shalt not come down off that bed on which thou art gone up, but shalt surely die.
    17. So he died according to the word of the LORD which Elijah had spoken. And Jehoram reigned in his stead in the second year of Jehoram the son of Jehoshaphat king of Judah; because he had no son.
    18. Now the rest of the acts of Ahaziah which he did, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Israel?

    *Timeless Truth*
    _Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up_
    ( James 4:10)

    *INTRODUCTION*

    In 1996, during the Dunblane school tragedy in Scotland, teacher Gwen Mayor and others acted with extraordinary courage to protect children when a gunman entered the school. The event remains a painful reminder that, in moments of danger, people quickly discover that human strength and authority have limits. In a crisis, the right response is not pride, but humility, wisdom and a willingness to seek help.
    Something similar occurs in 2 Kings 1. King Ahaziah was seriously ill, but instead of seeking the Lord, he sought guidance from Baal-Zebub, the god of Ekron. Elijah announced God's judgment because of this rebellion.
    The first two captains approached Elijah arrogantly and demanded that he come down from the mountain. Fire consumed them. The third captain, however, approached differently. He humbled himself, pleaded for mercy and acknowledged Elijah as God's servant. His humility made a remarkable difference.
    *The sacrifice of the wicked is an abomination to the LORD: but the prayer of the upright is his delight.* (Proverbs 15:8) The passage teaches us that God is not impressed by position, rank, threats or human authority. He desires hearts that recognize His sovereignty and respond to Him with humility.

    *1. The Danger of Pride*

    a. The first two captains approached Elijah with authority and command. The third captain recognized that he was standing before a representative of God. Ahaziah had already received God's Word through Elijah, yet he continued in rebellion. We must never allow our position, education, wealth, influence or accomplishments to make us feel independent of God. A person may be powerful before people, but completely powerless before God.
    b. The first captain said: *“Man of God, the king has said, ‘Come down!’” — (2 Kings 1:9)*
    He treated God's prophet as though royal authority could override divine authority. Respect for legitimate authority is biblical, but no human authority has the right to demand disobedience to God. When human commands contradict God's Word, believers must remain faithful to God.
    c. The first two captains presumed that Elijah could be compelled by royal command.
    Presumption says, *“I can handle this without God.”* Humility says, *“Lord, I need You.”*
    Every believer should regularly examine his or her heart for hidden pride.

    *Questions*

    (i) Am I allowing my position, possessions, education or achievements to make me less dependent upon God?
    (ii) Is there an area where I am insisting on my own way instead of submitting to God's Word?

    *2. The Posture of Pleading*

    a. The third captain approached Elijah differently. His posture communicated something his predecessors had failed to understand: God deserves reverence.
    The captain fell on his knees. Kneeling is not merely a physical posture; it represents a heart that acknowledges God's greatness.
    We should cultivate humility in prayer, worship, decision-making and relationships.
    b. The third captain did not demand. He pleaded: *“Man of God, please let my life and the life of these fifty servants of yours be precious in your sight.”*
    He appealed to mercy rather than personal entitlement.When we face impossible situations, our first response should be prayer rather than panic, manipulation or human schemes. God's throne is a throne of grace.
    c. The third captain did not plead only for himself. He pleaded for the fifty men under his responsibility. God places people around us who need our prayers. Parents should intercede for children. Pastors should pray for congregations. Leaders should pray for those under their care. Christians should pray for friends, neighbours, communities and even those who oppose them.

    *Questions*

    (i.) When confronted by crisis, is prayer my first response or my last resort?
    (ii) Who are the people God has placed under my influence for whom I should be interceding?

    *3. The Power of Prophetic Word*

    a. God responded to the humble approach of the third captain. *“And the angel of the LORD said to Elijah, ‘Go down with him; do not be afraid of him."* The same prophet who had been associated with judgment now became the instrument through which God's Word was delivered.
    Elijah went with the captain because God instructed him to do so. God's Word is not a suggestion. It is the authoritative standard by which believers must live.
    We should not adjust Scripture to suit our preferences; we should adjust our lives to conform to Scriptures.
    b. The king had been given an opportunity to respond to God's warning, but the judgment stood because of his persistent rebellion.
    Hearing God's Word without responding to it is dangerous. Whenever Scripture exposes something wrong in our lives, we should repent rather than defend ourselves.
    c. The chapter ends with the king's death: God's Word ultimately prevails.
    The blessing is not merely in hearing sermons, attending church or possessing Bibles. The blessing comes through hearing and obeying God's Word.
    The question is not only, “What did God say?” but also, “What am I going to do about what God has said?”

    *Questions*

    (i) How do I respond when God's Word corrects something in my life?
    (ii) Is there any instruction from Scripture that I know of, but have been deliberately postponing obeying it?

    *Prayer Points*

    1. Father, deliver me from every form of pride, arrogance, self-reliance and presumption. Give me a humble and teachable heart.
    2. Lord, teach me to seek You first whenever I face difficulties and make me faithful in prayer and intercession.
    3. Lord, help me to faithfully intercede for my family, church, friends and everyone You have placed under my influence.
    4. Father, give me grace not merely to hear Your Word, but to obey it faithfully, even when obedience is difficult.

    ```TEXT:2 KINGS 1:13-18```
    ```KEY VERSE:``` _*"And he sent again a captain of the third fifty with his fifty. And the third captain of fifty went up, and came and fell on his knees before Elijah, and besought him, and said unto him, O man of God, I pray thee, let my life, and the life of these fifty thy servants, be precious in thy sight" (2 KINGS 1:13).*_

    *Bishop Latimer, delivering a sermon before King Henry VIII, offended the King with his candidness. The king ordered Latimer to repeat the message the following Sunday and apologise publicly for his "offence". Latimer approached the pulpit and began by reflecting on the gravity of his audience, acknowledging the King's power to cut short his life. However, he recalled his obligation to God, whose message he preached and whom he knew had ultimate authority over his fate. With this conviction, he resolutely preached the same sermon with greater fervour, demonstrating that his reverence for God outweighed his fear of earthly power. It was an obeying-God-rather-than-men situation.*

    *The captain of the third fifty soldiers sent by King Ahaziah to arrest Prophet Elijah seemed to be conscious of this principle when he adopted a reverential approach, unlike his predecessors. Ahaziah, the king of Israel, had been hurt by a fall. He sent messengers to Baal-zebub, the god of Ekron, to inquire whether he would recover. Elijah accosted the king's messengers and sent them back with the message that the apostate Ahaziah would die. The infuriated king issued a warrant for Elijah's arrest. The first band of 50 soldiers, led by a captain, arrogantly commanded Elijah, in the name of the king, to come down from the hill where he was. The prophet was moved to call down fire upon them, and they were consumed by it. Unfortunately, a second contingent behaved similarly and suffered the same fate.*

    *The captain of the third contingent sent by Ahaziah was not only wiser but also God-fearing. He approached the man of God with utmost respect and pleaded for his life to be spared. It is no wonder that an angel of God instructed Elijah to go with the captain to King Ahaziah. By doing so, the captain demonstrated what it takes to do the will of God even within the context of an ungodly authority.*

    *An attitude and action of humble submission to God, even at the risk of losing a job, fortune or opportunity, has always attracted divine favour. If you ever find yourself in a situation where pleasing men, no matter how powerful, means displeasing God, adopt the obeying-God-rather-than-men option. Those who do so always turn out to be the ultimate winners.*

    *Girls are a unique creation of God. Our memory verse refers to them as "corner stones, polished after the similitude of a palace." Zeinab was a talkative and proud girl who loved to boast about her father's wealth. One day, while chatting and playing with other children at an amusement park, a man with an evil intention overheard her narrating to her friends how one of her father's customers brought a bag full of cash to her dad for some goods purchased! The bad man alerted his criminal gang about the information he got through Zeinab's loose tongue.

    While Zeinab and her parents were on their way back home that Saturday evening, the gang overtook their car, blocked their way and shot into the air. They grabbed Zeinab from her parents at gunpoint and sped off with her in their unmarked car. The kidnappers later called her father on phone and demanded a huge sum of money as ransom in exchange for Zeinab's release.

    Though the kidnappers were eventually arrested by security forces after about eight days, Zeinab missed her Common Entrance Examinations. Through the confession of the criminals, Zeinab later realised her error, repented and surrendered her heart and tongue to Jesus.

    *When a heart is dirty with sin, the tongue becomes talkative, evil and deadly. But a heart washed in the blood of Jesus produces a Holy Spirit controlled tongue of peace, comfort and blessing. Your life, heart and tongue can be cleansed today, if you bring them to Jesus in a prayer of repentance. He will wash you clean.*

    ```rayer:``` _*Lord Jesus, please wash my heart with Your blood, and let my tongue speak only what pleases You, in Jesus name.*_ 🏽
    2. Morning Prayer for today.
    MP.i. Morning Prayer
    And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works: Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some [is]; but exhorting [one another]: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching. ⏤ Hebrews 10:24-25
    The man who mobilizes the Christian church to pray will make the greatest contribution to world evangelization in history. ⏤ Andrew Murray
    Son of God, this is Your day, and we want to dedicate it completely to You. On this day, You rose from the grave, defeating death and bringing life to the world. We thank You for Your victory. We thank You for this day, which reminds us of Your completed redemption every week.
    Make this an uplifting day for us. Help us to keep it holy for You. Give us a peaceful heart. Prepare us this morning to receive the richest blessings of Your love that may come our way today. May we open our hearts wide while You pour down blessings. May the public and private reading of Your word bring us messages that enrich our lives. May Your word enter into our hearts so deeply that it purifies and sweetens all aspects of our lives. May this Sunday’s communion with You keep us close to You all day, so that the warmth of Your love fills our souls, making us more like You.
    We pray for all those who will speak for You today—whether in a large congregation or in a quiet room with just a few listeners, or even by the wayside to just one soul. Bless all Sunday school teachers, missionaries, and those who bring the gospel message to prisons, hospitals, and other places of need. Give Your word power, and may it break through hardened hearts or bring comfort to those who are grieving.
    May this day be a rich blessing to our home. Stay with us, keep us close, and pour Your love on us, making our lives more beautiful and preparing us to be a greater blessing to others tomorrow. We ask all this in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
Presumption says, *“I can handle this without God.”* Humility says, *“Lord, I need You.”* Every believer should regularly examine his or her heart for hidden pride. *Questions* (i) Am I allowing my position, possessions, education or achievements to make me less dependent upon God? (ii) Is there an area where I am insisting on my own way instead of submitting to God's Word? *2. The Posture of Pleading* a. The third captain approached Elijah differently. His posture communicated something his predecessors had failed to understand: God deserves reverence. The captain fell on his knees. Kneeling is not merely a physical posture; it represents a heart that acknowledges God's greatness. We should cultivate humility in prayer, worship, decision-making and relationships. b. The third captain did not demand. He pleaded: *“Man of God, please let my life and the life of these fifty servants of yours be precious in your sight.”* He appealed to mercy rather than personal entitlement.When we face impossible situations, our first response should be prayer rather than panic, manipulation or human schemes. God's throne is a throne of grace. c. The third captain did not plead only for himself. He pleaded for the fifty men under his responsibility. God places people around us who need our prayers. Parents should intercede for children. Pastors should pray for congregations. Leaders should pray for those under their care. Christians should pray for friends, neighbours, communities and even those who oppose them. *Questions* (i.) When confronted by crisis, is prayer my first response or my last resort? (ii) Who are the people God has placed under my influence for whom I should be interceding? *3. The Power of Prophetic Word* a. God responded to the humble approach of the third captain. *“And the angel of the LORD said to Elijah, ‘Go down with him; do not be afraid of him."* The same prophet who had been associated with judgment now became the instrument through which God's Word was delivered. Elijah went with the captain because God instructed him to do so. God's Word is not a suggestion. It is the authoritative standard by which believers must live. We should not adjust Scripture to suit our preferences; we should adjust our lives to conform to Scriptures. b. The king had been given an opportunity to respond to God's warning, but the judgment stood because of his persistent rebellion. Hearing God's Word without responding to it is dangerous. Whenever Scripture exposes something wrong in our lives, we should repent rather than defend ourselves. c. The chapter ends with the king's death: God's Word ultimately prevails. The blessing is not merely in hearing sermons, attending church or possessing Bibles. The blessing comes through hearing and obeying God's Word. The question is not only, “What did God say?” but also, “What am I going to do about what God has said?” *Questions* (i) How do I respond when God's Word corrects something in my life? (ii) Is there any instruction from Scripture that I know of, but have been deliberately postponing obeying it? *Prayer Points* 1. Father, deliver me from every form of pride, arrogance, self-reliance and presumption. Give me a humble and teachable heart.🙏 2. Lord, teach me to seek You first whenever I face difficulties and make me faithful in prayer and intercession.🙏 3. Lord, help me to faithfully intercede for my family, church, friends and everyone You have placed under my influence.🙏 4. Father, give me grace not merely to hear Your Word, but to obey it faithfully, even when obedience is difficult.🙏 *Hymn:* I Surrender All *THE BIBLE IN ONE YEAR: LUKE 22* [10/10, 7:30 pm] Pastor Attah: ```DAILY Ⓜ️ANNA - (A DAILY DEVOTIONAL GUIDE FOR ADULTS) SUNDAY 11TH OCTOBER, 2026``` *HUMBLE SUBMISSION HAS IT* 📓📖🎚️🫵🏽🙋🏽‍♂️🙋🏽‍♀️🧎🏽🧎🏽‍♀️🙏🏽 📜📜```TEXT:2 KINGS 1:13-18```📜📜 🔑📖```KEY VERSE:``` _*"And he sent again a captain of the third fifty with his fifty. The king ordered Latimer to repeat the message the following Sunday and apologise publicly for his "offence". Latimer approached the pulpit and began by reflecting on the gravity of his audience, acknowledging the King's power to cut short his life. However, he recalled his obligation to God, whose message he preached and whom he knew had ultimate authority over his fate. With this conviction, he resolutely preached the same sermon with greater fervour, demonstrating that his reverence for God outweighed his fear of earthly power. It was an obeying-God-rather-than-men situation.* *The captain of the third fifty soldiers sent by King Ahaziah to arrest Prophet Elijah seemed to be conscious of this principle when he adopted a reverential approach, unlike his predecessors. Ahaziah, the king of Israel, had been hurt by a fall. He sent messengers to Baal-zebub, the god of Ekron, to inquire whether he would recover. Elijah accosted the king's messengers and sent them back with the message that the apostate Ahaziah would die. The infuriated king issued a warrant for Elijah's arrest. The first band of 50 soldiers, led by a captain, arrogantly commanded Elijah, in the name of the king, to come down from the hill where he was. The prophet was moved to call down fire upon them, and they were consumed by it. Unfortunately, a second contingent behaved similarly and suffered the same fate.* *The captain of the third contingent sent by Ahaziah was not only wiser but also God-fearing. He approached the man of God with utmost respect and pleaded for his life to be spared. It is no wonder that an angel of God instructed Elijah to go with the captain to King Ahaziah. By doing so, the captain demonstrated what it takes to do the will of God even within the context of an ungodly authority.* *An attitude and action of humble submission to God, even at the risk of losing a job, fortune or opportunity, has always attracted divine favour. If you ever find yourself in a situation where pleasing men, no matter how powerful, means displeasing God, adopt the obeying-God-rather-than-men option. Those who do so always turn out to be the ultimate winners.* ✍🏽```THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:``` _*Virtue never loses a battle.*_ 📜📜```THE BIBLE IN ONE YEAR:``` *LUKE 22*📜📜 Humble Submission Has It https://dailymanna.app// *RECOMMENDED GOSPEL HYMNS AND SONGS - GHS 259: MORE LIKE THE MASTER; GHS 216: MORE ABOUT JESUS WOULD I KNOW; AND GHS 258: OH, TO BE LIKE THEE* *TXD [THEXDEVOTIONALS] on Twitter* *#DailyManna11thOctober2026* *#GCK* *#WorshipNuggets* *#BibleNuggets* *#LeadershipNuggets* *#RevivalNuggets* *#CrusadeNuggets* https://www.youtube.com/[THEXDEVOTIONALS] [10/10, 7:30 pm] Pastor Attah: ```DEEPER CHRISTIAN LIFE MINISTRY``` _*HIGHER EVERYD🅰️Y: (A DAILY DEVOTIONAL GUIDE FOR YOUTHS)*_ ✍🏽👩🏻‍💼🌻 🍇🙏🏽🛰🚀🔬📚 ```SUNDAY 11TH OCTOBER, 2026``` *THE ROLE OF THE GIRL-CHILD* 🎚️📓📖🫵🏽🙋🏽‍♀️👧🏻👩🏽🧎🏽‍♀️🙏🏽 📜📜```TEXT:PSALM 144:11-15```📜📜 📖``` MEMORY VERSE:``` _*"That our sons may be as plants grown up in their youth; that our daughters may be as corner stones, polished after the similitude of a palace" (PSALM 144:12).*_ *"The courage, hope and determination of girls are a force to be reckoned with. One day, while chatting and playing with other children at an amusement park, a man with an evil intention overheard her narrating to her friends how one of her father's customers brought a bag full of cash to her dad for some goods purchased! The bad man alerted his criminal gang about the information he got through Zeinab's loose tongue. While Zeinab and her parents were on their way back home that Saturday evening, the gang overtook their car, blocked their way and shot into the air. They grabbed Zeinab from her parents at gunpoint and sped off with her in their unmarked car. The kidnappers later called her father on phone and demanded a huge sum of money as ransom in exchange for Zeinab's release. Though the kidnappers were eventually arrested by security forces after about eight days, Zeinab missed her Common Entrance Examinations. Through the confession of the criminals, Zeinab later realised her error, repented and surrendered her heart and tongue to Jesus. *When a heart is dirty with sin, the tongue becomes talkative, evil and deadly. But a heart washed in the blood of Jesus produces a Holy Spirit controlled tongue of peace, comfort and blessing. Your life, heart and tongue can be cleansed today, if you bring them to Jesus in a prayer of repentance. He will wash you clean.* 🍥🍥🍥🍥🍥🍥🍥🍥 ```🅿️rayer:``` _*Lord Jesus, please wash my heart with Your blood, and let my tongue speak only what pleases You, in Jesus name.*_ 🙏🏽 ```📖 Further Reading:``` *Luke 6:43-45* A Dirty Heart Breeds A Deadly Tongue https://dailymanna.app// *TXD [THEXDEVOTIONALS] on Twitter* *#SincereMilk11thOctober2026* *#GCK* *#WorshipNuggets* *#BibleNuggets* *#LeadershipNuggets* *#RevivalNuggets* *#CrusadeNuggets* https://www.youtube.com/[THEXDEVOTIONALS]. 2. Morning Prayer for today. MP.i. Morning Prayer And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works: Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some [is]; but exhorting [one another]: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching. ⏤ Hebrews 10:24-25 The man who mobilizes the Christian church to pray will make the greatest contribution to world evangelization in history. ⏤ Andrew Murray Son of God, this is Your day, and we want to dedicate it completely to You. May this Sunday’s communion with You keep us close to You all day, so that the warmth of Your love fills our souls, making us more like You. We pray for all those who will speak for You today—whether in a large congregation or in a quiet room with just a few listeners, or even by the wayside to just one soul. Bless all Sunday school teachers, missionaries, and those who bring the gospel message to prisons, hospitals, and other places of need. Give Your word power, and may it break through hardened hearts or bring comfort to those who are grieving. May this day be a rich blessing to our home. Stay with us, keep us close, and pour Your love on us, making our lives more beautiful and preparing us to be a greater blessing to others tomorrow. We ask all this in the name of Jesus Christ.
