MEMORISE:
Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him. - (John 14:23)
BIBLE READING: ROMANS 8:31-39 (KJV)
31 What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?
32 He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?
33 Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God's elect? It is God that justifieth.
34 Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us.
35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?
36 As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.
37 Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.
38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,
39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
MESSAGE:
When God's children have to fight through obstacles and challenges, they often have scars from the battles before they finally receive their trophies. There is, however, a better way for children of God to succeed, and this is winning without a fight, as we see in Romans 8:37, which says that we are more than conquerors simply because God loves us. I will discuss this today in continuation of the series I started two days ago.
When God loves a person specially, He makes them more than conquerors, meaning that they enjoy victories without fighting. Imagine a scenario where a boxer fights hard to win a championship belt, then hands it over to his wife along with all the proceeds from the boxing match. In such an instance, the wife won the boxing championship without even fighting. I pray that the Almighty God will give you victories without fights, in Jesus' name.
Some people say that God loves everyone equally, but this is not really true. Jesus had twelve disciples, but some were closer to Him than others. You will recall how Jesus took only Peter, James, and John with Him to the Mount of Transfiguration (Matthew 17:1-3). Those three disciples were clearly closer to Jesus than the others. However, one of them, John, was even much closer to Him. For example, when Jesus was asked to reveal the identity of the person who would betray Him, He didn't give a direct answer until John asked Him (John 13:21-26).
Beloved, there's a secret I want to share with you on how to make God love you specially. Jesus said, in John 14:23, that if you love Him, you will keep His word, and His Father will love you so much that He will make His abode in you. This is a special kind of love that He has reserved only for those who obey all His commands. When you live your life according to His will, God will fight your battles for you, and no one can be against you (Romans 8:31). Your life will be filled with experiences that demonstrate God's special love for you. Even when it seems as if destruction is looming, one way or the other, God will manoeuvre things to your favour and even promote you (Daniel 3:8-30).
Beloved, loving God by keeping His word is your guarantee to attaining good success and experiencing victory without a fight.
REFLECTION:
Do you keep all God's commands?

1 Conquerors and overcomers now are we,
Thro’ the precious blood of Christ we've victory,
If the Lord be for us, we can never fail;
Nothing 'gainst his mighty pow'r can e'er prevail.
Refrain:
Conquerors are we, thro’ the blood, thro’ the blood;
God will give us victory, thro’ the blood, thro’ the blood,
Thro’ the Lamb for sinners slain,
Yet who lives and reigns again,
More than conquerors are we,
More than conquerors are we.
2 In the name of Israel's God we'll onward press,
Overcoming sin and all unrighteousness;
Not to us, but unto him the praise shall be,
For salvation and for blood-bought victory. [Refrain]

MEMORISE:
Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. - (Proverbs 3:5-6)
BIBLE READING: 1 CHRONICLES 4:9-10 (KJV)
9 And Jabez was more honourable than his brethren: and his mother called his name Jabez, saying, Because I bare him with sorrow.
10 And Jabez called on the God of Israel, saying, Oh that thou wouldest bless me indeed, and enlarge my coast, and that thine hand might be with me, and that thou wouldest keep me from evil, that it may not grieve me! And God granted him that which he requested.
MESSAGE:
Yesterday, I discussed failure as the first possible outcome in the battle of life. I also noted that this possibility becomes an assurance when God is fighting against a fellow. The second possible outcome in the battle of life is that it is possible to win, but with numerous struggles.
When God promises to go with you in your endeavours, success is assured, but you may need to fight. For example, in Exodus 3:10-12, God told Moses to go to Egypt and set the children of Israel free from bondage. This assignment scared Moses, but God promised to be with him. Moses obeyed God and appeared before Pharaoh, demanding the freedom of the Israelites, but the latter refused to let them go. Moses persisted in his demand, and Pharaoh continued to resist until he eventually submitted to the mighty power of the Almighty God. When the Lord is with you, no matter what the enemy says or does, you will win.
In (1 Samuel 17:1-51), everyone in the camp of Israel was afraid of Goliath, and for forty days and nights, he terrorised the nation. When David went to the king to seek his permission to fight the giant, the king looked at him and asked in disbelief if he was really capable of doing so. David recounted the things that God had done through him, and when Saul heard them, he said, "Go, and the Lord be with you." The Lord went with David, and he was victorious over Goliath. Beloved, when the Lord is with you, the possibility of failing in the battle of life vanishes.
Child of God, don't consider anything in your life as an accident. Before your birth, God carefully arranged everything about your life, and when He is with you in life's battles, you will undoubtedly win. In today's Bible reading, Jabez asked God to help him succeed in life. God answered him and put an end to his struggles. You don't have to keep struggling to succeed when you can call on the Lord to give you victory. Although Jacob had been blessed by his father, he struggled until he surrendered everything to God. Jacob held on to God until He blessed him (Genesis 32:24-32).
Beloved, stop trying to succeed by yourself; surrender your plans to God and ask Him to help you like Jabez did, and He will give you good success.
KEY POINT:
Those who surrender their plans to the Lord and seek His help won't struggle to succeed.

1 When we walk with the Lord
in the light of his word,
what a glory he sheds on our way!
While we do his good will,
he abides with us still,
and with all who will trust and obey.
Refrain:
Trust and obey, for there's no other way
to be happy in Jesus, but to trust and obey.
2 Not a burden we bear,
not a sorrow we share,
but our toil he doth richly repay;
not a grief or a loss,
not a frown or a cross,
but is blest if we trust and obey. [Refrain]
3 But we never can prove
the delights of his love
until all on the altar we lay;
for the favor he shows,
for the joy he bestows,
are for them who will trust and obey. [Refrain]
4 Then in fellowship sweet
we will sit at his feet,
or we'll walk by his side in the way;
what he says we will do,
where he sends we will go;
never fear, only trust and obey. MEMORISE:
Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house. - (Matthew 5:15)
BIBLE READING: JOHN 4:7-18, 25-30 (KJV)
7 There cometh a woman of Samaria to draw water: Jesus saith unto her, Give me to drink.
8 (For his disciples were gone away unto the city to buy meat.)
9 Then saith the woman of Samaria unto him, How is it that thou, being a Jew, askest drink of me, which am a woman of Samaria? for the Jews have no dealings with the Samaritans.
10 Jesus answered and said unto her, If thou knewest the gift of God, and who it is that saith to thee, Give me to drink; thou wouldest have asked of him, and he would have given thee living water.
11 The woman saith unto him, Sir, thou hast nothing to draw with, and the well is deep: from whence then hast thou that living water?
12 Art thou greater than our father Jacob, which gave us the well, and drank thereof himself, and his children, and his cattle?
13 Jesus answered and said unto her, Whosoever drinketh of this water shall thirst again:
14 But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.
15 The woman saith unto him, Sir, give me this water, that I thirst not, neither come hither to draw.
16 Jesus saith unto her, Go, call thy husband, and come hither.
17 The woman answered and said, I have no husband. Jesus said unto her, Thou hast well said, I have no husband:
18 For thou hast had five husbands; and he whom thou now hast is not thy husband: in that saidst thou truly.
25 The woman saith unto him, I know that Messias cometh, which is called Christ: when he is come, he will tell us all things.
26 Jesus saith unto her, I that speak unto thee am he.
27 And upon this came his disciples, and marvelled that he talked with the woman: yet no man said, What seekest thou? or, Why talkest thou with her?
28 The woman then left her waterpot, and went her way into the city, and saith to the men,
29 Come, see a man, which told me all things that ever I did: is not this the Christ?
30 Then they went out of the city, and came unto him.
MESSAGE:
One of my spiritual daughters, a friend and former classmate of my wife, had a big problem-cancer of the voice box. The doctors said that the only way to keep her alive was to remove her voice box, meaning that she would never talk again. They did, and from then on, she could no longer speak. However, we kept praying for her, believing that God would heal her. One day, I had just returned from a trip when I saw a woman rolling on the floor. When she looked up, I saw that it was my wife's friend, and she said, "It's me, Daddy. I can talk again."
Beloved, you cannot receive the kind of miracle in the story above and not testify. That is the kind of miracle that will make everyone around you acknowledge that only God could have made it happen. When the Light of the World visits a person, that fellow will not be able to keep his or her mouth shut. The Samaritan woman in today's Bible reading became an evangelist the moment she encountered the Light. She went into her city, telling everyone to come and see the Light. You cannot have the Light and hide it under a bushel (Matthew 5:15).
The Light doesn't only come with blessings and miracles; He also comes with assignments and responsibilities. After the madman of Gadara was delivered in Mark 5:2-20, Jesus gave him an assignment to tell others about his miracle. A fellow cannot come into the Light and continue to live a purposeless life. In the Light, you are commissioned to do God's will. After the madman's deliverance, he went everywhere telling people, "I was once a madman living in tombs, but I met the Light. Now, I am an evangelist." Likewise, when the Light found Peter, he became a fisher of men. When Paul came into this glorious Light, he became a renowned missionary, taking the gospel everywhere. You cannot come into the Light and remain idle. The Light empowers people to go into the world and preach the gospel to all creatures (Mark 16:15).
Beloved, wherever you go, God wants you to shine His light. Make it your life's mission to tell everyone you come across about the marvellous Light that has set you free. I pray for you today that the Light will visit you and give you a testimony that you won't be able to hide. You will tell a new story and sing a new song, in Jesus' name.
ACTION POINT:
Today, tell someone about something Jesus has done for you. Shine the Light of Jesus for others to see.

MEMORISE:
Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life. - (John 8:12)
BIBLE READING: MARK 5:2-20 (KJV)
2 And when he was come out of the ship, immediately there met him out of the tombs a man with an unclean spirit,
3 Who had his dwelling among the tombs; and no man could bind him, no, not with chains:
4 Because that he had been often bound with fetters and chains, and the chains had been plucked asunder by him, and the fetters broken in pieces: neither could any man tame him.
5 And always, night and day, he was in the mountains, and in the tombs, crying, and cutting himself with stones.
6 But when he saw Jesus afar off, he ran and worshipped him,
7 And cried with a loud voice, and said, What have I to do with thee, Jesus, thou Son of the most high God? I adjure thee by God, that thou torment me not.
8 For he said unto him, Come out of the man, thou unclean spirit.
9 And he asked him, What is thy name? And he answered, saying, My name is Legion: for we are many.
10 And he besought him much that he would not send them away out of the country.
11 Now there was there nigh unto the mountains a great herd of swine feeding.
12 And all the devils besought him, saying, Send us into the swine, that we may enter into them.
13 And forthwith Jesus gave them leave. And the unclean spirits went out, and entered into the swine: and the herd ran violently down a steep place into the sea, (they were about two thousand;) and were choked in the sea.
14 And they that fed the swine fled, and told it in the city, and in the country. And they went out to see what it was that was done.
15 And they come to Jesus, and see him that was possessed with the devil, and had the legion, sitting, and clothed, and in his right mind: and they were afraid.
16 And they that saw it told them how it befell to him that was possessed with the devil, and also concerning the swine.
17 And they began to pray him to depart out of their coasts.
18 And when he was come into the ship, he that had been possessed with the devil prayed him that he might be with him.
19 Howbeit Jesus suffered him not, but saith unto him, Go home to thy friends, and tell them how great things the Lord hath done for thee, and hath had compassion on thee.
20 And he departed, and began to publish in Decapolis how great things Jesus had done for him: and all men did marvel.
MESSAGE:
Light is powerful; it impacts everything it touches. For example, when the sun shines on the Earth, everything under its rays experiences its heat. Likewise, when the light of God shines over you, it will touch every aspect of your life, and your story will change for good. The man Jesus healed in John 9:1-27 must have been a subject of mockery before his healing, but when he encountered the Light, he became a celebrity, as many people wanted to hear his story. If you have not encountered Jesus and given your life to Him, I implore you to do so today, so that He can also change your story for the better.
Sometimes, however, people who have surrendered their lives to Jesus may still face certain negative circumstances, and these may make them a subject of mockery. This is because many people tend to think that something must be wrong with a believer who is facing challenges. Mockers may ask such believers, "You have been serving God all this while, but why is your life like this?" Some believers might even find themselves in situations where people describe them by the problems they are going through. For example, even though Jesus opened the eyes of Bartimaeus over 2,000 years ago (Mark 10:46-52), many people still call him 'Blind Bartimaeus' because they associate him with his problem. In the name above every other name, whatever might be causing people to ask, "Where is your God?" will cease to exist in your life, and your story will change for the better.
In today's Bible reading, just one word from the Light transformed the life of the man from Gadara. His story changed from that of a person who was possessed by a legion of demons into that of a man whom Jesus would send to tell people about his miraculous encounter with the Light. When the Light comes, people's stories change for the better; the blind begin to see, the sick get healed, the lame begin to walk, the barren become fruitful, and the poor begin to experience abundance.
Beloved, I am a living testimony that the Light of the world never leaves people the way He meets them. He transforms their lives for the better and gives them everlasting testimonies. I pray that you will have an encounter with Jesus, the light of the world, and He will give you a new story to tell, in Jesus' name.
PRAYER POINT:
Lord, please visit me with Your light and change my story for the better, in Jesus' name.

MEMORISE:
And it shall come to pass in that day, that his burden shall be taken away from off thy shoulder, and his yoke from off thy neck, and the yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing. - (Isaiah 10:27)
BIBLE READING: MATTHEW 8:1-4 (KJV)
1 When he was come down from the mountain, great multitudes followed him.
2 And, behold, there came a leper and worshipped him, saying, Lord, if thou wilt, thou canst make me clean.
3 And Jesus put forth his hand, and touched him, saying, I will; be thou clean. And immediately his leprosy was cleansed.
4 And Jesus saith unto him, See thou tell no man; but go thy way, shew thyself to the priest, and offer the gift that Moses commanded, for a testimony unto them.
MESSAGE:
Jesus is the Light (John 8:12), and whenever He touches a person or a place, a miraculous transformation occurs. In John 9:1-7, Jesus spat on the ground, made some mud, and used it to anoint a blind man's eyes. When Jesus touched the mud, it became anointed, and the anointing destroyed the yoke of blindness in the man's life. I decree that the light of God will shine upon you and break any yoke that might be in your life, in Jesus' name.
The leper in today's Bible reading knew that Jesus had the anointing to destroy the yoke of leprosy in his life, and as Jesus touched him, the yoke was destroyed. No matter how long a yoke has been in a fellow's life, when God's light shines on the fellow, it will be destroyed permanently.
Years ago, a woman forced her way through protocol officers to meet me just after I finished preaching at a programme in Kaduna, a town in Northern Nigeria. When I asked her what the problem was, she said that she had never seen anyone preach the way I did. She then said that since she knew I would be leaving soon, she wanted to share her secret with me because she knew it would be safe with me. At that moment, she uncovered a part of her skin, and I saw that she was a leper. I asked her why she didn't go to the hospital, and she stated that she had many children to cater for, and if she visited a hospital, she would be sent to the leper's colony. I then asked her why she didn't ask the pastors in her church to pray for her, and she said that if they prayed for her and she didn't get healed, her secret would be exposed. I prayed for her, and the following year, I was back in the same church. As I arrived and stepped out of the car, a beautiful lady approached me with a big smile. She introduced herself as the leper I prayed for the previous year and said, "Your God touched me, and I'm healed."
Beloved, when God's light touches you, you will experience transformation and healing in any area of your life where there is darkness, stagnancy, or confusion. Jesus Christ is the Light, and I pray that He will touch everything that concerns you and cause a positive transformation in your life, in Jesus' name.

Father, please let Your light shine on me and remove anything that is not of You in my life, in Jesus' name.

Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the Lord thy God am a Jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me; - (Exodus 20:5)
BIBLE READING: 2 KINGS 5:20-27 (KJV)
20 But Gehazi, the servant of Elisha the man of God, said, Behold, my master hath spared Naaman this Syrian, in not receiving at his hands that which he brought: but, as the LORD liveth, I will run after him, and take somewhat of him.
21 So Gehazi followed after Naaman. And when Naaman saw him running after him, he lighted down from the chariot to meet him, and said, Is all well?
22 And he said, All is well. My master hath sent me, saying, Behold, even now there be come to me from mount Ephraim two young men of the sons of the prophets: give them, I pray thee, a talent of silver, and two changes of garments.
23 And Naaman said, Be content, take two talents. And he urged him, and bound two talents of silver in two bags, with two changes of garments, and laid them upon two of his servants; and they bare them before him.
24 And when he came to the tower, he took them from their hand, and bestowed them in the house: and he let the men go, and they departed.
25 But he went in, and stood before his master. And Elisha said unto him, Whence comest thou, Gehazi? And he said, Thy servant went no whither.
26 And he said unto him, Went not mine heart with thee, when the man turned again from his chariot to meet thee? Is it a time to receive money, and to receive garments, and oliveyards, and vineyards, and sheep, and oxen, and menservants, and maidservants?
27 The leprosy therefore of Naaman shall cleave unto thee, and unto thy seed for ever. And he went out from his presence a leper as white as snow.
MESSAGE:
Yesterday, I discussed how a fellow's sin can bring reproach to the fellow and keep him or her in darkness. Today, I will discuss how the sins of parents can hinder their children and many generations after them from enjoying God's blessings.
People's sins can create problems that will flow down their bloodlines. This means that some people are in terrible situations today because of certain sins their parents committed. In today's Bible reading, Gehazi was the one who allowed greed to lead him to sin, but the man of God pronounced a curse on him and his seed, saying, "The leprosy of Naaman will cleave unto you and your seed forever." In the olden days, especially in Africa, parents thoroughly investigated the families of people who intended to marry their children before allowing them to get married. For example, they would check if there was a history of diseases and conditions such as epilepsy, leprosy, or madness in those families because they knew that if such conditions existed within the bloodlines, they were likely to show up again.
Sometimes, a fellow's sin can affect his or her children while the fellow is still alive. Achan is a good example of this in Joshua 7:1-26. His greed made him disobey God, but his entire family was stoned to death as a result - his children suffered the consequences of a sin they did not commit. Eli is another man whose carelessness and parental neglect affected his lineage (1 Samuel 2:27-36). Years after his death, the curse God placed on his family came to pass in Abiathar's life; he was thrust out from being a priest, not because of what he had done particularly, but because of God's word against Eli, one of his ancestors (1 Kings 2:27).
Apart from negative patterns that can be inherited from a person's parents or ancestors, every human who has not accepted Jesus as Lord and Saviour is under the curse inherited from Adam and Eve, humanity's first parents. Beloved, I want to let you know that Jesus came to set captives free, and this includes blotting out the handwriting of negative family patterns and curses. If you are contending with generational curses or negative patterns in your bloodline, He will deliver you today, in Jesus' name. Cry out to Him, and His light will destroy any problems created by the sins of your parents or ancestors.
KEY POINT:
When you turn to Jesus wholeheartedly, He will welcome you into His family - a curse-free lineage.

*TOPIC: SIN IS A REPROACH 1*
MEMORISE:
For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. - (Romans 6:23)
BIBLE READING: JOHN 5:1-15 (KJV)
1 After this there was a feast of the Jews; and Jesus went up to Jerusalem.
2 Now there is at Jerusalem by the sheep market a pool, which is called in the Hebrew tongue Bethesda, having five porches.
3 In these lay a great multitude of impotent folk, of blind, halt, withered, waiting for the moving of the water.
4 For an angel went down at a certain season into the pool, and troubled the water: whosoever then first after the troubling of the water stepped in was made whole of whatsoever disease he had.
5 And a certain man was there, which had an infirmity thirty and eight years.
6 When Jesus saw him lie, and knew that he had been now a long time in that case, he saith unto him, Wilt thou be made whole?
7 The impotent man answered him, Sir, I have no man, when the water is troubled, to put me into the pool: but while I am coming, another steppeth down before me.
8 Jesus saith unto him, Rise, take up thy bed, and walk.
9 And immediately the man was made whole, and took up his bed, and walked: and on the same day was the sabbath.
10 The Jews therefore said unto him that was cured, It is the sabbath day: it is not lawful for thee to carry thy bed.
11 He answered them, He that made me whole, the same said unto me, Take up thy bed, and walk.
12 Then asked they him, What man is that which said unto thee, Take up thy bed, and walk?
13 And he that was healed wist not who it was: for Jesus had conveyed himself away, a multitude being in that place.
14 Afterward Jesus findeth him in the temple, and said unto him, Behold, thou art made whole: sin no more, lest a worse thing come unto thee.
15 The man departed, and told the Jews that it was Jesus, which had made him whole.
MESSAGE:
In today's Bible reading, Jesus healed a man who had been sick for 38 years. Shortly after that, He found him in the temple and warned him to stay away from sin or a worse illness would afflict him. Jesus' warning shows us that a fellow's sin can attract reproach and bring the fellow under the influence of the forces of darkness. If a person sins and does not repent, today's memory verse tells us that such a fellow will be paid for committing that sin, and that payment is death.
In Mark 2:1-12, the Bible tells us about a paralysed man who was brought to Jesus. It took four men to carry him on his sick bed to the house Jesus was preaching in, and because the house was so full that there was no space to pass through at the entrance, the men who carried him had to break through the roof to lower him into the house. When Jesus saw him, He knew the man needed a miracle, and the first thing He said was, "Son, thy sins be forgiven thee." In other words, Jesus was saying, "Unless we get your sins out of the way, you won't get the miracle you need."
Sin always hinders people from receiving their miracles, and there is always a need to take the sins that have blocked their access to God's blessings away so that the path to their miracles can be opened. The paralysed man's sins landed him in a mess, but when he came in contact with light, it destroyed the mess. When a person comes in contact with light, it destroys every form of darkness in his or her life. If there is any reproach in your life that was caused by your sin, as you ask God for forgiveness today and promise not to return to it, I decree that the Lord will send His light into your life to take away the reproach, in Jesus' name.
Beloved, sin is always a reproach; it brings shame and death. Righteousness, however, attracts God's upliftment (Proverbs 14:34). To receive God's promotion, you must confess and repent of any sins that might exist in your life. Jesus is willing to give you a brand-new start when you turn to Him. Don't let your sins keep you from enjoying God's help; confess them and repent of them today, and your heavenly Father will remove everything that represents a reproach in your life (1 John 1:9).
KEY POINT:
Sin can stop God's light from shining upon you and His blessings from flowing into your life.

MESSAGE: In today's Bible reading, Jesus healed a man who had been sick for 38 years. When Jesus saw him, He knew the man needed a miracle, and the first thing He said was, "Son, thy sins be forgiven thee." In other words, Jesus was saying, "Unless we get your sins out of the way, you won't get the miracle you need." Sin always hinders people from receiving their miracles, and there is always a need to take the sins that have blocked their access to God's blessings away so that the path to their miracles can be opened. - HONOUR TO SPIRITUAL AUTHORITY (SPIRITUAL COVERAGE): THE SECRET TO DIVINE BLESSINGS AND SUCCESS
In God’s kingdom, honor is a spiritual principle that unlocks divine blessings. Many desire success, promotion, and open doors, but few understand the power of honoring spiritual authority. Spiritual coverage is not bondage; it is protection, guidance, and divine alignment.
1. Spiritual Authority Is God’s Design
God is a God of order. He raises men and women to guide, nurture, and watch over others spiritually.
“Obey them that have the rule over you, and submit yourselves: for they watch for your souls…” — Hebrews 13:17
Spiritual leaders are assigned to watch over your soul. When you honor them, you position yourself under divine order — and where there is order, there is blessing.
2. Honour Attracts Reward
“He that receiveth a prophet in the name of a prophet shall receive a prophet’s reward.” — Matthew 10:41
When you receive, respect, and support your spiritual authority, you partake in the grace upon their life. The anointing flows through honor.
Consider Elisha. He honored and followed Elijah faithfully. He served him and refused to leave him (2 Kings 2). Because of that loyalty, he received a double portion of Elijah’s spirit.
Your next level may be connected to how well you honor the grace over you.
3. Dishonour Blocks Blessings
When Korah rose against Moses (Numbers 16), it brought destruction. Rebellion against spiritual authority is rebellion against divine order.
Dishonor closes doors; honor opens them.
4. Spiritual Coverage Brings Protection
Spiritual authority provides covering through prayer, counsel, and correction.
Even David honored Saul, despite Saul’s imperfections. David refused to harm him because he understood spiritual authority (1 Samuel 24:6). That honor preserved David’s destiny.
Under proper spiritual coverage:
You receive wise counsel
You avoid costly mistakes
You enjoy spiritual backing in battles
5. Spiritual Authority Is Not Just Title — It Is Commitment
Spiritual coverage is deeper than calling someone “Daddy” or “My Mentor.” It is not about emotional attachment or public display of loyalty. It is about:
✔ Commitment
You are planted, not floating.
“Those that be planted in the house of the Lord shall flourish…” — Psalm 92:13
✔ Obedience Before Questioning
Honor means you obey instructions with humility before raising arguments.
“Obey them… that they may do it with joy, and not with grief.” — Hebrews 13:17
✔ Financial Support (Sowing Seeds)
You cannot claim spiritual covering and disconnect from responsibility.
“Let him that is taught in the word communicate unto him that teacheth in all good things.” — Galatians 6:6
Honor includes giving, supporting the vision, and standing with the assignment God has given your leader.
✔ Loyalty in Private and Public
True honor is consistent. It does not praise in public and criticize in secret.
Spiritual authority is covenantal, not casual. It demands sacrifice, submission, and sincerity.
6. Honour Unlocks Divine Success
“Likewise, ye younger, submit yourselves unto the elder… for God resisteth the proud, and giveth grace to the humble.” — 1 Peter 5:5
Honor is humility in action — and humility attracts grace. Grace produces success.
CONCLUSION
Honour to spiritual authority is:
A covenant principle
A channel of blessing
A key to divine protection
A secret to lasting success
It is not just about titles or emotional words. It is about commitment, obedience, sacrifice, and alignment.
If you desire divine lifting, learn to genuinely honor the grace God has placed over you. Where there is honor, there is flow. Where there is alignment, there is advancement.
May you receive the wisdom to stay under divine coverage and walk into your ordained blessings in Jesus’ name. *TOPIC: FORGET AND PRESS FORWARD*
MEMORISE:
Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. - (Philippians 3:13-14)
BIBLE READING: GENESIS 50:15-21 (KJV)
15 And when Joseph's brethren saw that their father was dead, they said, Joseph will peradventure hate us, and will certainly requite us all the evil which we did unto him.
20 And they sent a messenger unto Joseph, saying, Thy father did command before he died, saying,
21 So shall ye say unto Joseph, Forgive, I pray thee now, the trespass of thy brethren, and their sin; for they did unto thee evil: and now, we pray thee, forgive the trespass of the servants of the God of thy father. And Joseph wept when they spake unto him.
22 And his brethren also went and fell down before his face; and they said, Behold, we be thy servants.
And Joseph said unto them, Fear not: for am I in the place of God?
23 But as for you, ye thought evil against me; but God meant it unto good, to bring to pass, as it is this day, to save much people alive.
24 Now therefore fear ye not: I will nourish you, and your little ones. And he comforted them, and spake kindly unto them.
MESSAGE:
It is often easy to forget all the wonderful things God has done for us, which is why many verses in the Bible remind us to 'forget not.' In Deuteronomy 8:11, Moses warned the Israelites not to forget the Lord. Psalm 103:2 also tells us not to forget all His benefits. Likewise, Psalm 78:7 warns us not to forget His works. However, as much as God doesn't want us to forget the things He has done for us, He also instructs us not to hold on to the past.
In today's memory verses, Paul told the Philippians that he often forgot the things that had happened in his past so that he could forge ahead, and he admonished them to have the same mindset in verse 15. Some people are caught up in their past achievements; they keep talking about how God used them and how they experienced great miracles in 'those days'. However, there is nothing in their lives now that shows that they know the Lord. They are filled with anger, bitterness, jealousy, and every work of the flesh. Christians who keep glorying in their past exploits for God's kingdom without thirsting to do more cannot experience a fresh anointing from Him. God's mercies are new every morning (Lamentations 3:23); therefore, any believer who hangs on to the past alone will keep missing out on His increasing goodness and mercy. I turn 84 today, and by God's grace, I am still doing exploits in His kingdom because I've learnt not to hang on to the past, and I rely on His mercies that are new every morning.
Beloved, forgetting the things behind you will help you press on to glorious things ahead of you. Forgetting past negative experiences and even victories will help you reach for the new blessings that God has ordained for you. If Joseph had not let go of the hurt from his brothers' evil deeds, he would have been imprisoned by hate. As we see in today's Bible reading, he told them that even though their actions were meant to destroy him, God turned everything around for good.
Do you need to let go of anything from your past so you can move on to greater heights? Ask God to reveal them to you and strengthen you to let go of them. Ask Him to help you press into the glorious things He has ordained for you. As you do that, I pray that your path will continue to shine brighter, in Jesus' name.

Today is my birthday. Please pray that God will continue to take me to greater heights.

2. My heart has no desire to stay
Where doubts arise and fears dismay;
Tho' some may dwell where these abound,
My pray'r, my aim is higher ground.
3. I want to live above the world,
Though Satan's darts at me are hurled;
For faith has caught the joyful sound,

MESSAGE:
A 33-year-old married woman once came to me for prayers. Her problem was that she was still bedwetting, and it was causing her terrible embarrassment. I told her that it wasn't a problem and that God would give her a brand-new bladder. However, before I prayed, she said, "Sir, I’m not the only one suffering from this in my family." She proceeded to tell me that her mother, grandmother, and all the women in her family were bedwetters. Immediately, I knew that her problem was generational. On probing further, I discovered that the problem started when her grandmother had an issue with someone who pronounced a curse on her, saying, "Henceforth, every woman in your family will bed-wet." I told her, "Give your life to Jesus Christ, and you will leave that bloodline and become a new creature." She gave her life to Jesus and returned the following day, radiating with joy. This time, she didn't come alone; she had other women in her family with her. She told me that for the first time in as far back as she could remember, she slept all through the night without bedwetting. The other women who came with her all surrendered their lives to Jesus, and that was the end of the curse. I have good news for you: if a curse has been affecting your family for generations, it is terminated today, in Jesus' name.
When people come into God's family, He makes everything new in their lives (2 Corinthians 5:17), and they become partakers of generational blessings. Anything that had previously hindered and limited such people in their lineages will no longer have any power over them because they have come into a new family, God's family. In this divine family, there is life, prosperity, wisdom, fruitfulness, joy, peace, and every other good thing. Abundant life is the inheritance of everyone who is in God's family, and in areas where they may have suffered from the sins of their earthly ancestors, God promises to visit them with His unfailing and sure mercies (Exodus 20:6).
In God, the proverb that the fathers have eaten sour grapes and the children's teeth are set on edge no longer holds (Jeremiah 31:29-30). When a fellow comes into Christ, he or she becomes a partaker of God's divine nature, and abundant blessings become part of the fellow's daily life - this is the heritage of every believer. Beloved, are you a part of God's family?
REFLECTION:
Are you abiding in God's family and enjoying His blessings?

HYMN 10: IN CHRIST ALONE
1 In Christ alone my hope is found
He is my light, my strength, my song
This cornerstone, this solid ground
Firm through the fiercest drought and storm
What heights of love, what depths of peace
When fears are stilled, when strivings cease
My comforter, my all in all
Here, in the love of Christ, I stand
2 In Christ alone, who took on flesh
Fullness of God in helpless babe
This gift of love and righteousness
Scorned by the ones he came to save
'Til on that cross, as Jesus died
The wrath of God was satisfied
For every sin, on him, was laid
Here, in the death of Christ, I live.
3 There in the ground, his body lay
Light of the world, by darkness, slain
Then bursting forth in glorious day
Up from the grave, he rose again
And as he stands in victory
Sin's curse has lost its grip on me
For I am his and he is mine
Bought with the precious blood of Christ.
4 No guilt in life, no fear in death
This is the power of Christ in me
From life's first cry to final breath
Jesus commands my destiny
No power of hell, no scheme of man
Can ever pluck me from His Hand
Till He returns or calls me home

*TOPIC: GOD'S RIGHT HAND*
MEMORISE:
And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus: - (Ephesians 2:6)
BIBLE READING: PSALM 110:1-3 (KJV)
1 The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool.
2 The LORD shall send the rod of thy strength out of Zion: rule thou in the midst of thine enemies.
2 Thy people shall be willing in the day of thy power, in the beauties of holiness from the womb of the morning: thou hast the dew of thy youth.
MESSAGE:
The phrase 'right hand' bears great significance in the Bible. It portrays a position of privilege - a place of honour and status. For example, our Lord Jesus Christ sits at the right hand of the Father (Hebrews 1:3). Hebrews 12:2 also reveals that after Jesus suffered and died on the cross, He sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. The right hand of God represents His ultimate strength and power.
Who is gone into heaven, and is on the right hand of God; angels and authorities and powers being made subject unto him. (1 Peter 3:22)
The person being referred to in the Scripture above is Jesus. He is the One on the right hand of God with all powers in subjection to Him. No matter the earthly position a fellow occupies, there is more power and authority at the right hand of God. God's right hand is the place where all angels, authorities, and powers submit to Him. Psalm 18:35 also reveals that the right hand of God is the place of sustenance and help. Today's memory verse tells us that as God's children, we are seated together with Christ, and since He is at God's right hand, we are also there with Him.
Being at the right hand of God means that you will never lack help and provision. It means that you will always find the timely and abundant help you need. Those who are at God's right hand are never small because His right hand is the place of power, as we see in Mark 14:62, which says: "And Jesus said, I am: and ye shall see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of power, and coming in the clouds of heaven." This means that, as Christians, we are a people of power and influence. We enjoy help, sustenance, and favour from God. Unfortunately, however, while this is our identity as God's children, some believers are living far away from this reality because, like the prodigal son in Luke 15:11-32, they have wandered far away from the Father's right hand. They have heeded the call of sin and frustrated God's grace upon their lives.
Beloved, if you have not surrendered to God, or if you have wandered away from Him, I invite you today to come unto Him. He is knocking at the door of your heart (Revelation 3:20); open it up to Him. He is waiting for you earnestly with open arms; don't keep Him waiting.
REFLECTION:
Are you occupying your place at God's right hand?

MEMORISE:
Great is our Lord, and of great power: his understanding is infinite. - (Psalm 147:5)
BIBLE READING: 1 CHRONICLES 29:11-12 (KJV)
11 Thine, O LORD, is the greatness, and the power, and the glory, and the victory, and the majesty: for all that is in the heaven and in the earth is thine; thine is the kingdom, O LORD, and thou art exalted as head above all.
12 Both riches and honour come of thee, and thou reignest over all; and in thine hand is power and might; and in thine hand it is to make great, and to give strength unto all.
MESSAGE:
God is all-powerful; His power is not seen only in His mighty works but also in how He sometimes mercifully provides the help we need before we even realise we need help.
Years ago, when Redemption City was still more than 95 percent covered with trees and bushes, I went for a walk one night as I usually do. Then, I loved to walk on the footpaths of the bushes to pray so that nobody would disturb me. That night, I was going about praying and enjoying myself because I was alone with God when He suddenly told me to stop. I stopped, and when I looked at the ground, I realised that something unusual was right across my path. The object looked like a log of wood, and I thought that some people had come into the bush, cut some trees down, and didn't carry all the logs with them. However, it suddenly looked as if the log of wood was moving. When I looked more closely, I realised it was a huge python. Immediately the python saw that I had seen it, it raised its head to attack me. Of course, now that I had already seen it, I moved back a bit, and as I turned to look towards my right, I saw a big rock. The rock had already been positioned there by God, and I used it to kill the python. God mercifully provided that big rock in that position even before I went through that path that night. I pray that the Almighty God will supply all the help you need before you even realise you need it, in Jesus' name.
Before Samson was attacked by over 1,000 Philistines in Judges 15:14-15, God prepared the jawbone of an ass and placed it in a place where his hand could easily reach it. In Numbers 20:1-11, before the Israelites got to the desert, He had provided the rock from which they would get water. Beloved, God has already provided the solution to every problem you can ever encounter. He is too merciful to let you get to a stage where there will be no solution to the challenges you face. If you are currently burdened by a problem, you don't have to worry; turn to Him and ask Him to open your eyes to see the solution He has already provided. I pray that you will emerge victorious over all obstacles, in Jesus' name.

Father, please open my eyes to see the solutions You have provided to every challenge that comes my way, in Jesus' name.

The righteous cry, and the Lord heareth, and delivereth them out of all their troubles. - (Psalm 34:17)
BIBLE READING: JOHN 6:5-13 (KJV)
5 When Jesus then lifted up his eyes, and saw a great company come unto him, he saith unto Philip, Whence shall we buy bread, that these may eat?
6 And this he said to prove him: for he himself knew what he would do.
7 Philip answered him, Two hundred pennyworth of bread is not sufficient for them, that every one of them may take a little.
8 One of his disciples, Andrew, Simon Peter's brother, saith unto him,
9 There is a lad here, which hath five barley loaves, and two small fishes: but what are they among so many?
10 And Jesus said, Make the men sit down. Now there was much grass in the place. So the men sat down, in number about five thousand.
11 And Jesus took the loaves; and when he had given thanks, he distributed to the disciples, and the disciples to them that were set down; and likewise of the fishes as much as they would.
12 When they were filled, he said unto his disciples, Gather up the fragments that remain, that nothing be lost.
13 Therefore they gathered them together, and filled twelve baskets with the fragments of the five barley loaves, which remained over and above unto them that had eaten.
MESSAGE:
In (2 Kings 5:9-14), when Naaman went to Elisha, desiring to get healed of his leprosy, he expected the prophet to come out and lay his hands on him. He had an expectation of how the prophet would attend to him, but God had something else in mind, and if he had not followed Elisha's instructions, he would have remained a leper. Likewise, in today's Bible reading, Jesus looked up and saw the crowd that had come to Him to listen to His teachings. He knew they must have been hungry, so He called His disciples and asked where they could get food for them. As He asked them, the Bible says that He already knew what He would do.
Beloved, I have good news for you: God already knows how He will solve any problems you might be encountering. One of my sons once said, "Before your problem started, God already had a solution. He created the solution even before the problem showed up." God has a solution for every problem, even before they start. I pray that God will show you the solution to every mountain that might be challenging you and your family, in Jesus' name.
The Lord knows what to do to meet all your needs. In our Bible reading, He fed more than five thousand people with five loaves of bread and two small fishes, and there were twelve baskets of leftovers remaining. Somebody may ask, "Where did all that bread come from?" My answer is that it came from Him because He is the bread of life. He just kept creating more bread as the disciples were distributing the five loaves He broke at the beginning. In the name of the One who called me, you will have more than is sufficient before this year runs out.
Lord, thou hast been our dwelling place in all generations. Before the mountains were brought forth, or ever thou hadst formed the earth and the world, even from everlasting to everlasting, thou art God.
Psalm 90:1-2
The Scripture above tells us that the Almighty God has been in existence from generation to generation, ever before the mountains were brought forth. He knows the foundation of all mountains; therefore, He can move any mountain. God knows exactly what to do to solve all problems, so call on Him to help you surmount whatever problem you might be facing. Trust in the One who is all-knowing and all-powerful, and you will surely overcome.

And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you. - (Exodus 3:14)
BIBLE READING: DANIEL 7:13-14 (KJV)
13 I saw in the night visions, and, behold, one like the Son of man came with the clouds of heaven, and came to the Ancient of days, and they brought him near before him.
14 And there was given him dominion, and glory, and a kingdom, that all people, nations, and languages, should serve him: his dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and his kingdom that which shall not be destroyed.
MESSAGE:
I will conclude my discussion on the Unlimited God today by telling you about an incident that happened in 1983 when we were about to hold the first-ever RCCG Annual Convention in Redemption City. The city, which we called Redemption Camp back then, was a jungle, and we were just trying to erect some structures when suddenly, a flock of tiny birds came in their hundreds of thousands and covered every tree around us. Within a day, they had eaten all the leaves on the trees and messed the whole place with their faeces, creating an awful stench. The birds were so tiny, and we didn't know how to get rid of them. When I told God about the issue, He said, "Leave it to Me." Shortly after, dozens of mighty eagles came from nowhere and started killing and eating the birds. After a few hours, none of the little birds remained, and the eagles flew away. I decree that God will send help to you from places you least expect, in Jesus' name.
When we wanted to start a church in Israel, I told one of the ambassadors to the country about our intention. On hearing this, he laughed and said, "Everybody knows that America is best friends with Israel, yet the government of Israel has told America, 'Since you're a Christian country, you can have your diverse denominations, but we don't want to hear anything about Pentecostals in our country.' If they said that to America, and you are coming from Nigeria of all places, what are the chances that they'll allow you to set up a branch of your church in their country?" I told him that my case would be different. Being a diplomat, he immediately took a diplomatic approach with me and asked what I wanted him to do for me, as he could clearly see that I was determined to go ahead with the application. I asked him to help me submit an application letter to the government, and he did. Six months later, we were registered. Our God is unlimited in influence and authority; He can bypass government decrees and policies for your sake.
Beloved, if you are faced with challenges that seem insurmountable, just remember that you serve a God who made a way through the Red Sea for the Israelites to pass through (Exodus 14:21-22). Call on Him in faith today, and He will remove all obstacles hindering your progress and grant you victory on all sides.
PRAYER POINT:
Unlimited Father, please take away every limitation that has kept me from enjoying Your fullness, in Jesus' name.

- “Lord, please let the tables turn. Let me win this time…”
I’ve done what I can. I showed up. I prayed. I tried. I endured. Now, I surrender the rest to You.
I release the outcome into Your hands, knowing that Your plans are always better than mine.
If it pleases You, let it happen. If it aligns with Your will, open the doors no one can shut.
And if it’s truly meant for me, let it come—not by force, not by fear, but by Your perfect timing.
Give me the patience to wait, the faith to trust, and the peace to accept whatever answer You give.
Because at the end of it all, I don’t just want what I want…

- TUESDAY MORNING PRAYER
I pray for you this Tuesday morning:
This entire day and week will favour you. Nothing missing, nothing broken, nothing taken from you. May the hand of God guide your steps and the mercy of God speak on your behalf in places you cannot reach.
Everywhere your name appears, favour will answer. Every step you take will lead to results. No delay, no disappointment, no bad news. Whatever was planned to slow you down will scatter before you arrive.
Your strength will not fail, your joy will not die, and your doors will not close. What God has prepared for you will reach you without struggle. May your spirit receive clarity, direction, and peace for every decision you must make today and throughout the week.
Help will find you early. Resources will locate you. People assigned to lift you will show up. What has been hard for months will suddenly become easy. Your name will be remembered for good.
Go into this Tuesday with grace, speed, and divine help. You will return with testimonies in the mighty name of Jesus Christ!

*TOPIC: THE UNLIMITED GOD VI*
MEMORISE:
Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you. - (1 Peter 5:7)
BIBLE READING: 2 KINGS 4:1-7 (KJV)
1 Now there cried a certain woman of the wives of the sons of the prophets unto Elisha, saying, Thy servant my husband is dead; and thou knowest that thy servant did fear the LORD: and the creditor is come to take unto him my two sons to be bondmen.
2 And Elisha said unto her, What shall I do for thee? tell me, what hast thou in the house? And she said, Thine handmaid hath not any thing in the house, save a pot of oil.
3 Then he said, Go, borrow thee vessels abroad of all thy neighbours, even empty vessels; borrow not a few.
4 And when thou art come in, thou shalt shut the door upon thee and upon thy sons, and shalt pour out into all those vessels, and thou shalt set aside that which is full.
5 So she went from him, and shut the door upon her and upon her sons, who brought the vessels to her; and she poured out.
6 And it came to pass, when the vessels were full, that she said unto her son, Bring me yet a vessel. And he said unto her, There is not a vessel more. And the oil stayed.
7 Then she came and told the man of God. And he said, Go, sell the oil, and pay thy debt, and live thou and thy children of the rest.
MESSAGE:
Today, I will discuss God's unlimited capacity to meet all your needs with His unlimited resources. The Bible is filled with many accounts that show that God is unlimited when it comes to supplying the needs of His children, and today's Bible reading is one of such accounts. The widow of a man of God was in a really terrible situation because she was in a lot of debt, and her creditors had come to take her two sons as slaves to pay it off. Thankfully, the woman ran to Elisha to tell him about her ordeal. By running to the man of God, she invited the Unlimited God into her situation, and not only did He meet her immediate needs, He also provided for her future needs.
Beloved, God is not limited by what you have or do not have to provide for your needs. He is not limited by who you know or do not know to supply the resources you need. His resources are unlimited, so unlimited that He can wipe out all the debt you might be owing in one day, no matter how huge they are. He is Jehovah El-Shaddai, which some Bible scholars translate as 'The Mother's Breast'. In a mother's breast, there is enough milk for her babies to feed. God is unlimited, and He can supply whatever you need. Some Bible scholars have also said that when Jesus said, "If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it," in John 14:14, He was actually saying, "If you ask for something that I haven't created already, I will create it for you." That is how unlimited our God is.
In John 1:1-3, the Bible says, "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made." Because God made all things, He owns all things, and because He owns all things, He can use anything He deems fit to ensure that your needs are met. Never doubt that God cares for you. If He ensures that the birds of the air don't lack what to eat daily (Matthew 6:25-26), then He will abundantly supply your needs. Put all your trust in the Unlimited God; He is more than able to supply all your needs according to His unlimited riches (Philippians 4:19).
KEY POINT:
The Unlimited God truly cares for you, and He has more than enough to meet your needs.

HYMNAL: 27 WHAT A FRIEND WE HAVE IN JESUS
1 What a friend we have in Jesus,
all our sins and griefs to bear!
What a privilege to carry
everything to God in prayer!
O what peace we often forfeit,
O what needless pain we bear,
all because we do not carry
everything to God in prayer!
2 Have we trials and temptations?
Is there trouble anywhere?
We should never be discouraged;
take it to the Lord in prayer!
Can we find a friend so faithful
who will all our sorrows share?
Jesus knows our every weakness;
take it to the Lord in prayer!
3 Are we weak and heavy laden,
cumbered with a load of care?
Precious Savior, still our refuge--
take it to the Lord in prayer!
Do your friends despise, forsake you?
Take it to the Lord in prayer!
In his arms he'll take and shield you;
you will find a solace there.*OPEN HEAVENS DAILY DEVOTIONAL* DATE: TUESDAY FEBRUARY 24TH 2026 *TOPIC: THE UNLIMITED GOD VI* MEMORISE: Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you. - (1 Peter 5:7) BIBLE READING: 2 KINGS 4:1-7 (KJV) 1 Now there cried a certain woman of the wives of the sons of the prophets unto Elisha, saying, Thy servant my husband is dead; and thou knowest that thy servant did fear the LORD: and the creditor is come to take unto him my two sons to be bondmen. 2 And Elisha said unto her, What shall I do for thee? tell me, what hast thou in the house?
