A Little About Me

Hi, I’m Ibukun Akinpelu. 😊

I’m a Nigerian girl who is still learning, growing, figuring life out, and most importantly, learning to walk with God through it all.

I’m someone who genuinely enjoys people. I love meaningful conversations, getting to know people, helping where I can, and being part of communities where people can grow and encourage one another. I’m also naturally curious, so I’m usually asking questions, learning something new, or trying to understand how things work. 😂

I work in a school, and education is a big part of my life. I enjoy working with people and helping things come together, whether that means supporting teachers, helping students, organizing things, or simply being available when someone needs help. I’ve also found myself involved in community management, HR, and operations, which has taught me a lot about people, responsibility, and working with different personalities.

Outside of work, I have a creative side. I enjoy baking and making pastries, and there’s something really satisfying about creating something with my hands and seeing people enjoy it. I also enjoy learning new things, having good conversations, and finding little ways to express myself creatively.

One thing I’m intentionally working on is my communication. I want to become better at expressing myself, speaking confidently, and having meaningful conversations with people. I believe there is always room to grow, and I don't want to stop becoming a better version of myself.

Most importantly, I’m a Christian, and my relationship with God is an important part of who I am. I’m still growing in my faith, still learning what it means to trust God, follow Him, and live out my faith in everyday life. I don’t have everything figured out, but I’m grateful for the grace of God and for the opportunity to keep growing in Him.

I joined this community because I’d love to meet people who are also passionate about their faith, learn from different people’s experiences, have genuine conversations, and grow together.

So, in a nutshell, I’m Ibukun — a lover of God, a learner, an educationist, a people person, a baker, a community-minded person, and someone who is simply taking life one step at a time while trusting God with the journey. ❤️

And yes, I’m still figuring out what God has in store for me. But I’m excited to find out. 😊
