Do you know as christians we fight battles God already defeated? Some times it can be a health issue that we go through and we get scared or maybe it is a financial issue and a lot of the times it’s a battle in your mind that leads to fear, anxiety, and depression when we lose that battle. God is already in our tomorrow and the Bible tells us in Psalm 37:23 that our steps are ordered through Him! Look at Peter walking on the water next to Jesus and he still sank because he allowed what he knew versus who Jesus is. This is why the Bible tells us not to lean into our own understanding. A verse I love is found in Exodus 14:14 that God fights for us and all we have to do is be still. We are already victorious through Him we just have to know it has already been done according to the promises in His word! So remember the battle belongs to the Lord not us as we see in 2 chronicles 20:15!
