  • Our unbelief is a tragedy when it really comes to God's good plan for our lives. He longs for us to believe Him and in Him only, to come to Him with simple childlike faith and trust what He says to us in His Word. If you feel guilty right now and are afraid that God is mad at you, then you are miserable. But your misery can be immediately changed to peace and joy by simply believing God's Word. Believe that God loves you and that He is ready to show you mercy and forgive you completely. Believe that God has a good plan for your life. Believe that God is not mad at you. When we have a need, we can sometimes find it easy to talk about it, to tell a friend about it, and even to complain about it but God wants us to pray about it. Go to the throne, not to the phone. We can't have a positive life and a negative mind. I mentioned that letting God fight our battles certainly doesn’t mean that we sit idly by and do nothing. First, we should be very active spiritually.

We should praise and worship God and be thankful for all He has done for us and for what we expect Him to do in the future. We should also lift up our shields of faith, which quench all the fiery darts of the enemy, Ephesians 6:16. That means we stand strong in faith, believing God’s Word and the promises no matter what our very own circumstances may be. We also need to continue to be faithful in prayer, not only praying for our own needs but interceding for others as well. During times of crisis one thing we can do is be good to other people, helping those in trouble and meeting their needs as we are able. I often find that although I cannot solve my own problem, God will use me to help someone else if I am willing to do so. For example, think about a person who needs a job. Of course that person should pray for God to give him one, but his part is to relentlessly look for a job.

  • Trust not in the timing of a divine plan, but in your own capacity to turn every situation and moment, as it unfolds, into an opportunity for virtue, wisdom, and resilience. Instead of leaning on the understanding of humanity, the wisdom of whom is but foolishness in the eyes of our all-knowing and all-wise God, let us revere Him and love Him with all our heart, our soul and our strength that wisdom may enter our heart and knowledge be pleasant to our soul. We may not always really understand God’s timing, but we must trust that it is perfect. The day you realise you are worthy, life starts to be changing for the better. It isn't just because of some magic but because you realise there is magic within you. You own your power. You find your strength. You believe you can conquer any challenges and now life changes. Therefore no one will be declared to be righteous in God’s sight by the works of the law; rather, through the law of us when we become conscious of our sin, Romans 3:20.

I will bring the one-third through the fire. I will then refine them as silver is refined, And then test them as gold is tested. They will call on My name, And I will answer them. I will say, This is My people, And each one will say, The only great Lord is my God, Zechariah 13:9. Everyone wants to be an overcomer but nobody wants to have anything to overcome. You can't have a testimony without a test. It's easy to give people what they deserve; it's a privilege to give them grace and mercy. We should guard against the very temptation to complain and grumble, and instead purposely choose to offer up the only sacrifice of praise and thanksgiving, Hebrew 13:15. We can complain and remain, or praise and be raised. The Word of God teaches that it will be done to us according to how we believe. When I believe that God is angry with me because of my own imperfections, no matter how much He loves me and wants to forgive and restore me, I will not receive it because I don't believe it. .

Dear God, Thank You for the precious gift of life. Thank You for bringing us into this new month. Lord, in this new month, we commit our plans, our work, and every step we take into Your able hands. Go before us, guide our very own decisions, and grant us wisdom and clarity. Let Your peace guard our hearts and Your favour surround us like a shield. Help us to be kind, focused, and disciplined. Protect us and our loved ones from harm, and lead us away from distractions. Open doors no man can shut, and shut doors that are not meant for us. We declare that this month will be fruitful. No weapon formed against us shall prosper. We walk in divine alignment, divine provision, and divine protection. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen #PastorG #devotional
