NO MATTER THEIR NUMBER
"LORD, how are they increased that trouble me! many are they that rise up against me.
Many there be which say of my soul, There is no help for him in God. Selah.
But thou, O LORD, art a shield for me; my glory, and the lifter up of mine head. "(Psalms 3:1-3)
It is very important to note and know that no matter how hard men try, they can't change your God ordained destiny.
Our text unfolds that they are people who will never want to see you succeed.
There are people who would say negative things just to tarnish your image.
There are people who would smile to your face and stab you at the back.
There are people
who would appear to you as friends yet are busy wishing to see you fall.
David confessed that there are many of such people around him. He, however, made this powerful statement - that despite their number, God will surely lift up his head.
Despite all the efforts and crafts of Joseph's brothers to humiliate him and destroy his dreams, God still lifted him above his enemies.
It is not about the size and number of the enemy. It's about the strength of our God. No matter where you are today, no matter the struggles and challenges of life, one thing is sure, God will definitely lift up your head in due season. One with God is the majority.
Shalom.

NO HIDING PLACE
"And it came to pass, as they fled from before Israel, and were in the going down to Beth-horon, that the LORD cast down great stones from heaven upon them unto Azekah, and they died: they were more which died with hailstones than they whom the children of Israel slew with the sword."
(Joshua 10:11).
From the scripture above, there was a time the enemy rose against ISRAEL under Joshua. The battle was fierce but God was with His people. When the enemies discovered that they could not prevail, they decided to run away.
But God wanted to put an end to their insult. The Bible says that God from heaven located all of them and released stones from above and killed all of them.
This is interesting indeed.
I have this confidence in me, that God will locate every secret and hidden enemy planning to attack you secretly.
See Isaiah 50:11 (msg) "But if all you're after is making trouble, playing with fire, Go ahead and see where it gets you. Set your fires, stir people up, blow on the flames, But don't expect me to just stand there and watch. I'll hold your feet to those flames".
"Jesus Christ, the same yesterday, today, and forever" (Hebrews 13:8).
Let them keep hiding. Let them keep planning. God is watching them.
"For the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to shew himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward him...."
(2 Chronicles 16:9)
Surely God will locate them in His own way.
Keep looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith.
The enemy has no hiding place.
Shalom.

ALREADY SEALED
"In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,
Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory."
(Ephessians 1:13-14).
It is reassuring to know that as believers, we are already sealed with the Holy Spirit. This seal is a guarantee of our inheritance and a mark of God's ownership.
A Seal or mark can be defined as anything which helps to identify or distinguish a person or thing. It is a distinguishing trait, symbol, or quality of a person. So anyone who carries the distinguishing trait of someone else, becomes a servant or follower of the person whose distinguishing trait he is carrying.
The beast will distinguish his followers with the mark of the beast. This is still futuristic.
But I have good news for you. The text we read makes it clear that our own seal or mark is already given. You are already carrying the mark of Christ. You have been sealed with the HOLY SPIRIT. HALLELUJAH.
Every kingdom has its own seal. The kingdom of the world has the seal or mark of the beast while the Kingdom of Christ has the seal or mark of Christ.
While the Antichrist is busy working out modalities on how to put the mark of the beast on his people, you that is born again by the word of God shouldn't concern yourself with their program. You can't carry double seal. You are already carrying THE SEAL OF CHRIST.
You have been sealed for the day of redemption. (Ephessians 4:30).
Except you are not yet a believer. If you are a believer then you already carry the mark or seal of Christ. Your hand or face will never carry the mark of the beast. You are already sealed.
Shalom.

FOUR DAYS LATE, YET ON TIME.
"Now a certain man was sick, named Lazarus, of Bethany, the town of Mary and her sister Martha.
Therefore his sisters sent unto him, saying, Lord, behold, he whom thou lovest is sick.
When he had heard therefore that he was sick, he abode two days still in the same place where he was...
Then when Jesus came, he found that he had lain in the grave four days already.
And when he thus had spoken, he cried with a loud voice, Lazarus, come forth.
And he that was dead came forth, bound hand and foot with graveclothes: and his face was bound about with a napkin. Jesus saith unto them, Loose him, and let him go."
(John 11:1,3,6-7,17,43-44)
In the midst of delays and disappointments, it's easy to lose faith and wonder if God is truly in control. But the story of Lazarus's resurrection teaches us that God's timing is perfect, even when it seems like He is late.
Lazarus was sick, and his sisters sent for Jesus Christ to come for solution. Jesus delayed coming, and Lazarus died. When Jesus decided to come it was already four days late. Mary and Martha had lost hope and are in deep pains. When Jesus arrived they told Him he was four days late and that the dead is now stinking.
That was the right time for Jesus. He called out and Lazarus came forth out of the grave.
"The Lord knows how to deliver the godly out of temptations..." (2 Peter 2:9).
We always want to have things done our way and time. The Lord knows how to do it. You don't know how and when God wants to do it. He who knows how to, knows when to do it.
"He hath made all things beautiful in his time.." (Ecclesiastes 3:11).
No matter how long you think He has delayed. The situation may be stinking now, you seem to have lost hope. I challenge you today to be patient with God. He knows the situation and has set a time for it. A thousands years for man is just a day for God. Jesus came four days late in the eyes of men, yet he came on time. And Lazarus came alive. He will do it for you.
Shalom.

MONTH OF FEASTING AND CELEBRATION.
"Wherefore all the men of Israel assembled themselves unto the king in the feast which was in the seventh month"
(2 Chronicles 5:3)
Today marks the beginning of the seventh month, a time of great significance and celebration. As we step into July, we are invited to join in a sacred feast of joy, gratitude and divine connection.
In the old testament, the seventh month of every year was dedicated for feasting and celebration. It begins on the first day of the seventh month. The following activities takes place on the first day of the seventh month.
(A) BLOWING OF TRUMPET.
"And in the seventh month, on the first day of the month, ye shall have an Holy convocation, ye shall do no servile work: it is a day of blowing the trumpet unto you.
(Numbers 29:1)
"Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, in the seventh month, in the first day of the month, shall ye have a sabbath, a memorial of blowing of trumpet, an holy convocation"
(Leviticus 23:24)
Every 1st day of 7th month is dedicated for Praises unto God.
(B) OFFERING OF SACRIFICE UNTO GOD.
"From the 1st day of the 7th month began they to offer burnt offerings unto the Lord..." (Ezekiel 3:6)
Read Leviticus 23:25)
(C) STUDY OF THE WORD.
"And Ezra the priest brought the law before the congregation both of men and women, and all that could hear with understanding, upon the 1st day of the 7th month. (Nehemiah 8:3)
Prepare to celebrate God this month. Spend more time today praising God. Begin the month with a good sacrifice offering (sow a good seed today) and prepare to spend quality time with the word of God this month.
May our hearts be filled with anticipation, our spirits be lifted with joy, and our lives be marked by the presence of God.
Hear me, this is your month of celebration and feasting. Celebrating our redemption. Jesus is our sabbath or rest. God will surely make you celebrate and feast this month.
Shalom.

THIS JESUS CHRIST
"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life" (John 3:16)
In a world desperate for hope, salvation, and purpose, one figure stands tall - Jesus Christ.
He is the embodiment of God's love, the manifestation of divine mercy, and the source of eternal life.
There are three profound facts about THIS JESUS that are capable of transforming our lives.
(1) JESUS CHRIST is the only mediator between MAN AND GOD. (1 Timothy 2:5).
He is the sole bridge between humanity and divinity, providing reconciliation and access to God.
Never allow any thing or any other person come between you and God. For there is no other name under heaven given among men for salvation (Acts 4:12). Do not believe any other name or person to be a source of life and salvation. Only Jesus can save. Trust Him today.
(2) JESUS CHRIST is the way, the truth and the life. No man can go to the father except through Him
(John 14:6).
Jesus is the exclusive path to salvation, the embodiment of truth and the source of eternal life.
If you ever have the hope of seeing God, if you plan to be in heaven with God, then let it be known this day that the only way to God is Jesus and none else.
If you ever wish to dwell in the truth of God's word in life, then look unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith (Hebrews 12:2).
(3) Without JESUS CHRIST you can do nothing.
(John 15:5).
There is no true achievement without Jesus Christ. Every achievement and every height attained without Christ is a wasted effort, because before God, it amounts to nothing.
Have you thought about This man Jesus?
Is He your friend?
Have you made peace with Him?
Is He your personal Lord and saviour?
Remember, He is the only mediator between man and God. He is the only way to God, and without Him you can do nothing.
Shalom.

THE REWARD OF GOOD DEEDS
"On that night could not the king sleep, and he commanded to bring the book of records of the chronicles; and they were read before the king.
And it was found written, that Mordecai had told of Bigthana and Teresh, two of the king's chamberlains, the keepers of the door, who sought to lay hand on the king Ahasuerus.
And the king said, What honour and dignity hath been done to Mordecai for this? Then said the king's servants that ministered unto him, There is nothing done for him"(Esther 6:1-3)
Sometimes we feel like all our efforts to do good seems not to have reached the presence of God.
From the text, the king had a sleepless night, where he discovered that Modecai, a faithful Jew, had saved his life.
Though Modecai's good deed had gone unnoticed, God intervened, causing Modecai's good deeds to be noticed and rewarded.
Three facts appear clear in today's devotional:
(1) GOOD DEEDS SOMETIMES SEEMS UNNOTICED, YET GOD SEES THEM.
When our good deeds are overlooked by others, they are not overlooked by God. "For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love, which ye have shewed toward his name.." (Heb. 6:10).
(2) REWARD FOR GOOD DEEDS COMES IN GOD'S TIMING.
Modecai's reward didn't come immediately, instead God orchestrated events in such a way that Modecai's good deeds was recognized and rewarded at perfect time. All you need at such times is patience. "Let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not" (Gal. 6:9)
(3) GOOD DEEDS MUST BE HONORED AND REWARDED.
God honoured and rewarded Modecai's good deeds. God's word assures us that good deeds will never go unrewarded. "And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men; knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance:for ye serve the Lord Christ" (Col. 3:23-24)
God has not forgotten all your efforts. Wipe your silent and secret tears because God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love.
Shalom.

THE JOY OF FELLOWSHIP
"I was glad when they said unto me, Let us go into the house of the LORD."
(Psalms 122:1).
In this scripture David expresses his joy and eagerness to worship and fellowship with others in the house of the Lord. As Christians, we too can experience this same joy if we make fellowship with believers our priority.
Any believer that does not have an inner joy that propels him or her to go for fellowship is definitely under a certain negative influence. There is always a joy of fellowship in the heart of every true worshipper of the Lord.
David said in the text above that nothing gives him gladness of heart like when it is time to go to the house of God for fellowship. If that joy and gladness of heart is not traced in you, then something is definitely wrong somewhere.
"For a day in thy courts is better than a thousand. I had rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God, than to dwell in the tents of wickedness" (Psalms 84:10).
The Psalmist here again presents an inner pressure to be in the house of the LORD.
Any hour spent in worship with the brethren is so vital and can't be compared to any hour spent elsewhere.
"And they continued stedfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship.."
(Acts 2:42).
No matter the troubles of life, no matter the challenges of life, the best place to be, is always in the presence of the LORD. Do not join those who have concluded that Fellowship is not important.
" Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is..."
(Heb.10:25).
Check your relationship with Christ, if you have lost the joy of fellowship.
There is joy in fellowship.
Shalom.

08036764235SATURDAY 21ST JUNE, 2025 THE JOY OF FELLOWSHIP "I was glad when they said unto me, Let us go into the house of the LORD." (Psalms 122:1).
