Courage for the Journey

Joshua 1:9 (NKJV)

(Be strong and of good courage... for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.)

When Joshua faced the daunting task of leading Israel into the Promised Land, God didn’t give him a plan first—He gave him a promise: I am with you. Courage isn’t the absence of fear; it’s confidence in God’s presence.

No matter how uncertain the future feels, we can move forward knowing God walks beside us. His presence drives out fear and replaces anxiety with assurance. Gratitude keeps us strong by reminding us that we’ve never taken a single step alone.

The same God who parted the Jordan for Joshua will make a way for you too. Take courage—your strength is in His presence.
