- A Prayer for the Man at the Store
Heavenly Father, I lift up the man my husband saw at the store last night. We may not know his name or his story, but You know everything about him. You saw the lost and distant look in his eyes, and You know exactly what his heart is carrying.
Lord, thank You for placing a burden on my husband’s heart to pull over, offer this man an invitation card to our church, and show him a little love. His flesh didn’t want to get involved, but he fought against his flesh and obeyed what You placed on his heart. He did exactly what You wanted him to do, reminding this man that he is seen, cared for, and not alone.
Father, please use that small act of obedience to brighten his day and plant a seed in his heart. Let that invitation card become more than a piece of paper—let it become an open door leading him to Your house, Your people, and ultimately to You. Even if we never see what comes from that moment, we trust You to water the seed.
Reach down and meet this man right where he is. If he does not know You, reveal Yourself to him in a way he cannot mistake. Let him feel Your love, hear Your voice, and understand that his life has value and purpose. Shine Your light into every dark place and help him find his way to You.
Protect him wherever he goes. Place more compassionate, godly people in his path who will show him kindness, share Your truth, pray with him, and help lead him toward Jesus. If he walks through the doors of our church, let him be welcomed with open arms and feel the love and presence of God.
Break every chain that may be holding him captive. Lift every burden, heal every wound, and restore every part of his life that feels broken. Give him a hunger to know You and the courage to surrender his heart to You.
Lord, please don’t let him slip through the cracks unnoticed. Go after him like the Shepherd who left the ninety-nine to find the one lost sheep. Bring him safely home to You, and let his life become a testimony of Your saving grace.
Thank You for speaking to my husband’s heart, and thank You for giving him the courage to obey. Help all of us recognize those quiet promptings and choose obedience, even when our flesh tells us not to get involved. Sometimes a simple invitation and a little kindness may be exactly what someone needs.
In the mighty name of Jesus, amen.

How often do we wonder when enough will truly be enough? We search for satisfaction in our possessions, accomplishments, relationships, and even our own strength—but nothing in this world can fill the place that belongs to God.
The truth is, we were never meant to be sufficient on our own. Our strength, wisdom, peace, and ability come from the Lord. Jesus said that He is the vine and we are the branches; apart from Him, we can do nothing. But when we remain connected to Him, He gives us everything we need to bear good fruit.
During Paul’s difficult season, God didn’t remove every struggle. Instead, He gave Paul this promise: “My grace is sufficient for you.” Sometimes God doesn’t change the situation immediately because He wants to show us that His grace will carry us through it.
Our weaknesses don’t disqualify us. They create room for the power of Christ to rest upon us. When we feel like we are not strong enough, wise enough, or capable enough, we can remember that God is. Through Him, we can face whatever comes our way.
Whatever you need today—strength, peace, wisdom, courage, provision, or comfort—God’s grace is enough. Stop trying to carry everything in your own strength. Surrender it to Him and trust that He will give you exactly what you need for this moment.
God is our source. His grace is sufficient, His strength is perfect, and He is always enough.
“My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness.” — 2 Corinthians 12:9

I have learned more in the past two months about the Bible that I’ve known my whole life so I give all glory and praise to our Lord Jesus Christ. Amen so that’s a little bit about myself. I hope to connect with other Christians that I can teach them what I know about the Lord and I can get some others knowledge of the word as well. - Heavenly Father, I come before You with a heavy but trusting heart as I look for a change in employment. You know my desire to honor You in every part of my life, including how I dress according to my religious convictions. Because my workplace would not allow me to wear a dress instead of pants, I am asking You to lead me somewhere my faith and sincerely held beliefs will be respected.
Lord, open the right door to a workplace where I can earn an honest living, use my abilities, provide for my family, and remain faithful to my convictions. Place my name before the right employer and give me favor throughout the application and interview process.
Please remove any anger, fear, or discouragement from my heart. Help me respond with grace while standing firm in what I believe. Give me wisdom in every decision and peace as I wait for Your direction. I trust that when one door closes, You are able to open a better one.
Lead me to the job You have prepared for me—one where I will be valued, treated with respect, and never pressured to compromise my faith. I place my future, my needs, and my employment in Your hands.
In the mighty name of Jesus, amen.

Today, I am thankful for the Word of God. The Bible is more than just a book—it is our lifeline, our instruction manual, and the truth we need to live a beautiful and successful life with God.
I’m thankful that when I feel lost, His Word gives me direction. When I am discouraged, it gives me hope. When I am hurting, it brings comfort. When I am wrong, it corrects me with love. When I am weak, it reminds me where my strength comes from.
Everything we need to know about how to live, love, forgive, pray, and follow Jesus is found in His Word. I hate that it took me so many years to truly understand how important the Bible is, but I thank God that He opened my eyes. Now I know that I don’t have to figure life out on my own—God has already given me His truth to guide my steps.
Lord, thank You for Your Word. Give me a greater hunger to read it, wisdom to understand it, and the courage to obey it. Let Your Word change my heart and lead my life every day. Thank You, Jesus!
