But conversion does not automatically erase caste.
Many Dalit Christians continue to encounter caste-based discrimination in society and, in some places, within Christian communities themselves. Their story is one of faith, dignity, resilience and the ongoing pursuit of justice.
If we believe that every person is created in the image of God, then caste cannot have a place at the table.
