Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven.” How does His kingdom advance? When saints bend their knees and cry out to God under the power of the Holy Spirit, we invite divine intervention into families, churches, communities and nations. Revival can only be ignited when men pray. This is the time to pray for governments and lawmakers, decision-makers and leaders. This is the season to pray for troubled regions, warring nations and places where darkness seems to have taken hold. You can become God's watchman over your family, church, nation, and land. “I sought for a man among them, that should make up the hedge, and stand in the gap before me for the land...” — Ezekiel 22:30 God is still looking for men and women who will stand in the gap. He is looking for intercessors who will pray for India, Iran, Iraq, Nigeria, the United States, Ukraine, Russia, North Korea, and the nations of the world. He is looking for a people who will pray until revival breaks out, God's glory is revealed, and His will is established in the earth. This is what it means to occupy until He comes. Dear Brothers & Sisters, Grace and peace to you in Jesus' name. My name is Rev. Richard Rohi Sylva-Jaja. I have been in ministry for many years, having been ordained on 10th April, 1992. By God's grace, I serve as a pastor, Bible teacher, author, and missionary. Last year, my wife, our family, and I spent time seeking God's direction for our next mission field. We had planned to relocate to Brazil as missionaries, but the Lord clearly redirected us to Karji, Kaduna State, Nigeria. We arrived in November 2025 and immediately began the work He placed in our hearts. Since then, God has enabled us to plant The Maker's House Church (also known as AFLAME) and establish a Bible Training School. On 5th July 2026, we graduated our first 13 students, and today the church has grown to over 100 worshippers. We give God all the glory. One of our greatest challenges is our place of worship. We hold our services in the open space in front of our residence. Whenever it rains, our services are disrupted, making it urgent for us to erect a simple worship shelter on the piece of land God has graciously provided for the ministry. We also need basic ministry equipment such as a public address system, musical instruments, a generator, and discipleship materials. Beyond this, we are reaching out to many struggling families in our community with both the Gospel and practical acts of love. I have attached two short documentary videos that show the work God is doing in Karji. 💍 MARRIAGE IS THE WEDDING OF TWO PURPOSES, NOT JUST TWO PEOPLE Many people walk to the altar thinking marriage is the joining of bodies, emotions, and maybe even bank accounts. But marriage is far deeper than that. Marriage is not just the wedding of two people — it is the wedding of two purposes. 🔍 Love Without Direction Becomes Frustration When two lives come together without direction, without vision, without a sense of assignment, what exactly are they joining? The Bible says, “Where there is no vision, the people perish” (Proverbs 29:18). Love may bring two people together, but vision is what keeps them moving forward together. Without purpose, couples don’t just grow tired, they grow apart. 🧭 Purpose Gives Marriage Structure and Stability Think of marriage like a journey. If two people enter the same vehicle but are heading to different destinations, conflict is inevitable — not because they hate each other, but because they are not aligned. Scripture says, “Can two walk together unless they are agreed?” (Amos 3:3). Agreement here is not just about feelings, but about direction, values, and calling. 🏗️ Purpose Carries What Romance Cannot Love alone cannot carry what purpose was designed to sustain. People may be attracted to each other. Attraction may grow into strong connection, but to build something strong, purpose must be found and incorporated into the relationship. Purpose is always at the foundation of a strong marriage. When challenges come — finances, children, pressure, seasons of dryness — it is shared purpose that reminds a couple, “We are here for something bigger than ourselves.” That is why purpose does not just enhance marriage — purpose defines marriage. ✅ Before You Say “I Do” Before you say “I do,” be sure you know where you are going, and be sure you are marrying someone who is willing to go in a direction that aligns with your path. This is because marriage works best when two destinies decide to walk as one. WHY PURPOSE MUST BE INVESTIGATED BEFORE MARRIAGE One of the greatest mistakes people make before marriage is asking shallow questions and accepting convenient answers. Love alone is not enough to sustain a life relationship. Before entering marriage, honest questions must be asked, and they must be asked sincerely. Questions like: • What is her purpose? • Where is this man going with his life? These are not romantic questions. They are survival questions. Purpose cannot be proven by words alone. A verbal answer is not enough. Purpose must be confirmed, investigated, and validated. You must see consistent evidence that a person is rooted in a clear life direction, not just inspired by a temporary emotion or momentary ambition. Trusting someone with your life requires more than belief; it requires conviction. If you are not convinced, you should not be committed. If you do not understand the path a person is walking, you should not begin the journey with them. Never rush into marriage without clarity. If you do not know where someone is going, do not follow them.
