Good morning everyone
How are you all doing?
There is this one very popular psalm 91 which we normally quote in childhood especially when we were afraid we do quote this scriptures as our anchor. It works, It really does. But the lord made me understand something more deeper as I gave my life to Christ completely just last year august to the glory of God. The way he tend to explain some scriptures more deeply amaze me as I advance.
Which is this same verse that the lord gave me more clarity;psalms 91. It has a lot of deep meaning especially one verse which says,

He that dwelleth in the sercet place of the most high shall abide under the shadow of the almighty. psalm 91:1(KJV).

The more I tend to study the more it became clearer to me.
The question I have for you is
Where are you dwelling?
Are you dwelling in sea of despond? doubt? worries and cares of this world?
or are you dwelling in sin?
Or are you dwelling in the sercet place of the most high?
If you aren't dwelling in the sercet place of the most high then you to go back. Go back to the sercet place where God make men for his will to be done on earth. It isn't in the public God make men where eyes of wanderer which is the devil, looking, for his mission is to kill, to steal and destroy.
If he could kill your prayer life, steal your attention on the things of this world by distracting not to fix your gaze on Jesus but the things on this earth, then he could destroy you completely.
So my brothers and sisters, guard your eyes, tame your tongue
(“Not what goes into the mouth defiles a man; but what comes out of the mouth, this defiles a man” (Matthew 15:11, NKJV).

No rotten talk should come from your mouth, but only what is good. Eph 4:29
(HCSB)
“Set a guard over my mouth, LORD; keep watch over the door of my lips.” (Psalm 141:3)
and guard your heart from the things the devil is bringing our way. It might look so attractive to eyes but anything that is from the devil is meant to bring you down, to separate you from God by staining your garment with sin and iniquities.
Go back to secret place(mattew 6:6).
in place of prayer, fellowshipping with the father, by abiding in him (John 15:1-10).
You don't need to publish yourself. Allow God to do the work, by first working on you till Christ being formed in you.
God bless you
Have a blessed day.

  • Thank you Jesus
Titled: At His Feet bible text:(Luke 10:38-41).

Are you at the feet of Jesus?
Just like Mary in the book of Luke 10:39
Many of us are worried about so many things just Martha with so much things in our hands.
Instead of worrying and troubled of so many things, there is just one thing needed to come at the feet of Jesus ( Luke 10:41),
and surrender all your burdens and cares and take upon his yoke (voluntary) and learn of him, for his yoke is easy and the lord he would put us is light. (Matthew 11:28-30).
Serving is great but if it has become more important than our lord then we need to back and sit at his feet ( discipleship fellowshipping with Him( in corrections, dealings, in sufferings, in bad days, good days, every moment, in total obedience and discipline) because discipleship is a lifelong process to be transformed into the image, the full personality of our master the lord Jesus Christ.
The woman in the painting isn't just sitting at his feet but her gaze is fixated on him alone.
Where is your gaze fixated at?
Is it on storms, winds, which life is throwing at you?
Remember when the book of Matthew 14:27-29 when peter walked on the water but due to a strong wind he was afraid he began to sink.
Because he allowed the strong wind and fear which brings doubts in our hearts will make us sink in the waters of life, sweeps us by the strong wind just like a house built on sinking sand.

Come my brother and sister at his feet with a faith so strong that no winds of life will sweep you off, hoping, trusting ever on our eyes being fixated on Jesus.

    God bless you
    Happy a full filled week/weekend.
