They will listen to my voice, and there will be one flock with one shepherd. “The Father loves me because I sacrifice my life so I may take it back again. No one can take my life from me. For this is what my Father has commanded.” YESHUA, the True Vine “I AM the true grapevine, and MY FATHER is the gardener. He cuts off every branch of mine that doesn’t produce fruit, and he prunes the branches that do bear fruit so they will produce even more. You have already been pruned and purified by the message I have given you. Remain in me, and I will remain in you. For a branch cannot produce fruit if it is severed from the vine, and you cannot be fruitful unless you remain in me. “Yes, I AM the vine; you are the branches. Those who remain in me, and I in them, will produce much fruit. For apart from me you can do nothing. Anyone who does not remain in me is thrown away like a useless branch and withers. Such branches are gathered into a pile to be burned. But if you remain in me and my words remain in you, you may ask for anything you want, and it will be granted! When you produce much fruit, you are my true disciples. This brings great glory to my FATHER. I’m not exaggerating—just telling the truth. In every place of worship, I want men to pray with holy hands lifted up to GOD, free from anger and controversy. And I want women to be modest in their appearance. They should wear decent and appropriate clothing and not draw attention to themselves by the way they fix their hair or by wearing gold or pearls or expensive clothes. For women who claim to be devoted to GOD should make themselves attractive by the good things they do. Women should learn quietly and submissively. I do not let women teach men or have authority over them. Let them listen quietly. For GOD made Adam first, and afterward HE made Eve. And it was not Adam who was deceived by Satan. The woman was deceived, and sin was the result. But women will be saved through childbearing, assuming they continue to live in faith, love, holiness, and modesty. The Truths of Our Faith I am writing these things to you now, even though I hope to be with you soon, so that if I am delayed, you will know how people must conduct themselves in the household of GOD. This is the church of the living GOD, which is the pillar and foundation of the truth. Without question, this is the great mystery of our faith ELOHIM was revealed in a human body and vindicated by the SPIRIT. HE was seen by angels and announced to the nations. HE was believed in throughout the world and taken to heaven in glory. LORD GOD YESHUA replied to the Jewish Rabbi Nicodemus, “I tell you the truth, unless you are born again, you cannot see the Kingdom of GOD .” “What do you mean?” exclaimed Nicodemus. “How can an old man go back into his mother’s womb and be born again?” YESHUA replied, “I assure you, no one can enter the Kingdom of GOD without being born of water and the Spirit. Humans can reproduce only human life, but the HOLY SPIRIT gives birth to spiritual life. So don’t be surprised when I say, ‘You must be born again.’ The wind blows wherever it wants. Just as you can hear the wind but can’t tell where it comes from or where it is going, so you can’t explain how people are born of the SPIRIT .” “How are these things possible?” Nicodemus asked. YESHUA replied, “You are a respected Jewish teacher, and yet you don’t understand these things? I assure you, we tell you what we know and have seen, and yet you won’t believe our testimony. But if you don’t believe me when I tell you about earthly things, how can you possibly believe if I tell you about heavenly things? No one has ever gone to heaven and returned. But the Son of Man has come down from heaven. And as Moses lifted up the bronze snake on a pole in the wilderness, so the Son of Man must be lifted up, so that everyone who believes in him will have eternal life. “For this is how GOD loved the world: He gave* his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life. GOD sent HIS SON into the world not to judge the world, but to save the world through HIM. “There is no judgment against anyone who believes in HIM. But anyone who does not believe in HIM has already been judged for not believing in GOD’s one and ONLY SON. And the judgment is based on this fact: GOD’s light came into the world, but people loved the darkness more than the light, for their actions were evil. All who do evil hate the light and refuse to go near it for fear their sins will be exposed. But those who do what is right come to the light so others can see that they are doing what GOD wants.” YESHUA Claims to Be the SON of GOD So the Jewish leaders began harassing* YESHUA for breaking the Sabbath rules. But YESHUA replied, “ MY FATHER is always working, and so am I.” So the Jewish leaders tried all the harder to find a way to kill HIM. For HE not only broke the Sabbath, HE called GOD HIS FATHER, thereby making HIMSELF EQUAL WITH GOD. So YESHUA explained, “I tell you the truth, the SON can do nothing by HIMSELF. HE does only what HE sees the FATHER doing. Whatever the FATHER does, the SON also does. For the FATHER loves the SON and shows HIM everything HE is doing. In fact, the FATHER will show HIM how to do even greater works than healing this man. Then you will truly be astonished. For just as the FATHER gives life to those HE raises from the dead, so the SON gives life to anyone HE wants. In addition, the FATHER judges no one. Instead, HE has given the SON absolute authority to judge, so that everyone will honor the SON, just as they honor the FATHER. Anyone who does not HONOR the SON is certainly NOT HONOURING the FATHER WHO SENT HIM. “I tell you the truth, those who listen to my message and believe in GOD WHO sent me have eternal life. They will never be condemned for their sins, but they have already passed from death into life. “And I assure you that the time is coming, indeed it’s here now, when the dead will hear my voice—the voice of the SON of GOD. And those who listen will live. The FATHER has life in HIMSELF, and HE has granted that same life-giving power to HIS SON. And HE has given HIM authority to judge everyone because HE is the SON of MAN. Don’t be so surprised! Indeed, the time is coming when all the dead in their graves will hear the voice of GOD’s SON, and they will rise again. Those who have done good will rise to experience eternal life, and those who have continued in evil will rise to experience judgment. I can do nothing on MY OWN. I judge as GOD tells ME. Therefore, MY judgment is just, because I carry out the Will of the ONE who sent ME, not my own will. Witnesses to YESHUA. “If I were to testify on my own behalf, my testimony would not be valid. But someone else is also testifying about ME, and I assure you that everything he says about ME is true. In fact, you sent investigators to listen to John the Baptist, and his testimony about me was true. Of course, I have no need of human witnesses, but I say these things so you might be saved. John was like a burning and shining lamp, and you were excited for a while about his message. But I have a greater witness than John—my teachings and my miracles. The FATHER gave me these works to accomplish, and they prove that HE sent ME. And the Father WHO sent ME has testified about ME himself. You have never heard HIS voice or seen HIM face to face, and you do not have HIS message in your hearts, because you do not believe ME —the ONE HE sent to you. “You search the Scriptures because you think they give you eternal life. But the Scriptures point to ME! Yet you refuse to come to me to receive this life. “Your approval means nothing to me, because I know you don’t have God’s love within you. For I have come to you in my Father’s name, and you have rejected me. Yet if others come in their own name, you gladly welcome them. No wonder you can’t believe! For you gladly honor each other, but you don’t care about the honor that comes from the one who alone is GOD. “Yet it isn’t I who will accuse you before the FATHER. Moses will accuse you! Yes, Moses, in whom you put your hopes. If you really believed Moses, you would believe me, because he wrote about me. But since you don’t believe what he wrote, how will you believe what I say?” YESHUA, the Way to the FATHER “Don’t let your hearts be troubled. Trust in GOD, and trust also in ME. There is more than enough room in my Father’s home. If this were not so, would I have told you that I am going to prepare a place for you? When everything is ready, I will come and get you, so that you will always be with me where I am. And you know the way to where I am going.” “No, we don’t know, LORD,” Thomas said. “We have no idea where you are going, so how can we know the way?” YESHUA told him, “I AM the WAY, the TRUTH, and the LIFE. No one can come to the FATHER except through ME. If you had really known ME, you would know WHO my FATHER is. From now on, you do know HIM and have seen HIM!” Philip said, “ LORD, show us the FATHER, and we will be satisfied.” YESHUA replied, “Have I been with you all this time, Philip, and yet you still don’t know who I am? YESHUA Promises the HOLY SPIRIT “If you love me, obey my commandments. And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another ADVOCATE, WHO will never leave you. HE is the HOLY SPIRIT, WHO LEADS into all TRUTH. The world cannot receive HIM, because it isn’t looking for HIM and doesn’t recognize HIM. But you know HIM, because HE lives with you now and later will be in you. No, I will not abandon you as orphans—I will come to you. Soon the world will no longer see me, but you will see me. Since I live, you also will live. When I AM raised to life again, you will know that I AM in my FATHER, and you are in me, and I AM in you. Those who accept MY commandments and obey them are the ones who love ME. And because they love me, my Father will love them. Let me tell you again, as I have before, that anyone living that sort of life will not inherit the Kingdom of God. There is no law against these things! On the seventh day GOD had finished his work of creation, so he rested from all his work And GOD blessed the seventh day and declared it holy, because it was the day when he rested from all his work of creation. This is the account of the creation of the heavens and the earth. Creation of Man and Woman (2:4b-25) Creation of the Man When the LORD GOD made the earth and the heavens, neither wild plants nor grains were growing on the earth. For the LORD GOD had not yet sent rain to water the earth, and there were no people to cultivate the soil Instead, springs came up from the ground and watered all the land. Then the LORD GOD formed the man from the dust of the ground. He breathed the breath of life into the man’s nostrils, and the man became a living person. Creation of the Garden Then the LORD GOD planted a garden in Eden in the east, and there HE placed the man HE had made. The LORD GOD made all sorts of trees grow up from the ground—trees that were beautiful and that produced delicious fruit. In the middle of the garden he placed the tree of life and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. The First Command The LORD GOD placed the man in the Garden of Eden to tend and watch over it. But the LORD GOD warned him, “You may freely eat the fruit of every tree in the garden—except the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. If you eat its fruit, you are sure to die.” Creation of the Woman Then the LORD GOD said, “It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper who is just right for him.” So the LORD GOD formed from the ground all the wild animals and all the birds of the sky. HE brought them to the man to see what he would call them, and the man chose a name for each one. He gave names to all the livestock, all the birds of the sky, and all the wild animals. But still there was no helper just right for him. So the LORD GOD caused the man to fall into a deep sleep. While the man slept, the LORD GOD took out one of the man’s ribs and closed up the opening. Then the LORD GOD made a woman from the rib, and he brought her to the man. “At last!” the man exclaimed. “This one is bone from my bone, and flesh from my flesh! She will be called ‘woman,’ because she was taken from ‘man.’” This explains why a man leaves his father and mother and is joined to his wife, and the two are united into one. Now the man and his wife were both naked, but they felt no shame. Genesis 3 The Ruin of GOD’s Creation (3:1-24) Temptation to Sin Original Sin The serpent was the shrewdest of all the wild animals the LORD GOD had made. One day he asked the woman, “Did GOD really say you must not eat the fruit from any of the trees in the garden?” “Of course we may eat fruit from the trees in the garden,” the woman replied. “It’s only the fruit from the tree in the middle of the garden that we are not allowed to eat. GOD said, ‘You must not eat it or even touch it; if you do, you will die.’” “You won’t die!” the serpent replied to the woman.“ GOD knows that your eyes will be opened as soon as you eat it, and you will be like GOD, knowing both good and evil.” Man and Woman Rebel against the Creator The woman was convinced. She saw that the tree was beautiful and its fruit looked delicious, and she wanted the wisdom it would give her. So she took some of the fruit and ate it. Then she gave some to her husband, who was with her, and he ate it, too. At that moment their eyes were opened, and they suddenly felt shame at their nakedness. So they sewed fig leaves together to cover themselves. GOD Interrogates the Man and Woman When the cool evening breezes were blowing, the man and his wife heard the LORD GOD walking about in the garden. So they hid from the LORD GOD among the trees. Then the LORD GOD called to the man, “Where are you?” He replied, “I heard you walking in the garden, so I hid. I was afraid because I was naked.” “Who told you that you were naked?” the LORD GOD asked. “Have you eaten from the tree whose fruit I commanded you not to eat?” The man replied, “It was the woman you gave me who gave me the fruit, and I ate it.” Then the LORD GOD asked the woman, “What have you done?” “The serpent deceived me,” she replied. “That’s why I ate it.” GOD Indicts and Convicts Then the LORD GOD said to the serpent, “Because you have done this, you are cursed more than all animals, domestic and wild. You will crawl on your belly, roveling in the dust as long as you live. And I will cause hostility between you and the woman, and between your offspring and her offspring. He will strike your head, and you will strike his heel.”+ Then he said to the woman, “I will sharpen the pain of your pregnancy, and in pain you will give birth. And you will desire to control your husband, but he will rule over you.”+ And to the man he said, “Since you listened to your wife and ate from the tree whose fruit I commanded you not to eat, the ground is cursed because of you. All your life you will struggle to scratch a living from it. It will grow thorns and thistles for you, though you will eat of its grains.+ By the sweat of your brow will you have food to eat until you return to the ground from which you were made. For you were made from dust, and to dust you will return.”+ Expulsion and Hope Then the man—Adam—named his wife Eve, because she would be the mother of all who live. And the LORD GOD made clothing from animal skins for Adam and his wife. Then the LORD GOD said, “Look, the human beings have become like us, knowing both good and evil. What if they reach out, take fruit from the tree of life, and eat it? Then they will live forever!” So the LORD GOD banished them from the Garden of Eden, and he sent Adam out to cultivate the ground from which he had been made. After sending them out, the LORD GOD stationed mighty cherubim to the east of the Garden of Eden. And he placed a flaming sword that flashed back and forth to guard the way to the tree of life. Exodus 20 Ten Commandments (20:1-21) Exod 20:2-17 // Deut 5:6-21 Ancient Law Codes Then GOD gave the people all these instructions: “I AM the LORD your GOD, WHO rescued you from the land of Egypt, the place of your slavery. “You must not have any other GOD but ME. You must not make for yourself an idol of any kind or an image of anything in the heavens or on the earth or in the sea. You must not bow down to them or worship them, for I, the LORD your GOD, am a jealous GOD who will not tolerate your affection for any other GODs. I lay the sins of the parents upon their children; the entire family is affected—even children in the third and fourth generations of those who reject me.+ 6But I lavish unfailing love for a thousand generations on those who love me and obey my commands. “You must not misuse the Name of the LORD your GOD. The LORD will not let you go unpunished if you misuse HIS Name. “Remember to observe the Sabbath day by keeping it holy. You have six days each week for your ordinary work, but the seventh day is a Sabbath day of rest dedicated to the LORD your GOD. On that day no one in your household may do any work. This includes you, your sons and daughters, your male and female servants, your livestock, and any foreigners living among you. For in six days the LORD made the heavens, the earth, the sea, and everything in them; but on the seventh day he rested. That is why the LORD blessed the Sabbath day and set it apart as holy. “Honor your father and mother. Then you will live a long, full life in the land the LORD your GOD is giving you. “You must not murder. “You must not commit adultery. “You must not steal. “You must not testify falsely against your neighbor. “You must not covet your neighbor’s house. You must not covet your neighbor’s wife, male or female servant, ox or donkey, or anything else that belongs to your neighbor.” When the people heard the thunder and the loud blast of the ram’s horn, and when they saw the flashes of lightning and the smoke billowing from the mountain, they stood at a distance, trembling with fear. And they said to Moses, “You speak to us, and we will listen. But don’t let GOD speak directly to us, or we will die!” “Don’t be afraid,” Moses answered them, “for GOD has come in this way to test you, and so that your fear of him will keep you from sinning!” As the people stood in the distance, Moses approached the dark cloud where GOD was. Covenant Requirements for the People (20:22–23:19) Proper Use of Altars And the LORD said to Moses, “Say this to the people of Israel: You saw for yourselves that I spoke to you from heaven. Remember, you must not make any idols of silver or gold to rival me. “Build for me an altar made of earth, and offer your sacrifices to me—your burnt offerings and peace offerings, your sheep and goats, and your cattle. Build my altar wherever I cause my name to be remembered, and I will come to you and bless you. If you use stones to build my altar, use only natural, uncut stones. Do not shape the stones with a tool, for that would make the altar unfit for holy use. And do not approach my altar by going up steps. If you do, someone might look up under your clothing and see your nakedness. Exodus 32 The Gold Calf: A Wrong Attempt to Secure GOD’s Presence (32:1–34:35) Making the Gold Calf When the people saw how long it was taking Moses to come back down the mountain, they gathered around Aaron. “Come on,” they said, “make us some GODs who can lead us. We don’t know what happened to this fellow Moses, who brought us here from the land of Egypt.” So Aaron said, “Take the gold rings from the ears of your wives and sons and daughters, and bring them to me.” All the people took the gold rings from their ears and brought them to Aaron. Then Aaron took the gold, melted it down, and molded it into the shape of a calf. When the people saw it, they exclaimed, “O Israel, these are the GODs who brought you out of the land of Egypt!” Aaron saw how excited the people were, so he built an altar in front of the calf. Then he announced, “Tomorrow will be a festival to the LORD!” The people got up early the next morning to sacrifice burnt offerings and peace offerings. After this, they celebrated with feasting and drinking, and they indulged in pagan revelry.+ The LORD’s Response and Moses’ Intercession The LORD told Moses, “Quick! Go down the mountain! Your people whom you brought from the land of Egypt have corrupted themselves. How quickly they have turned away from the way I commanded them to live! They have melted down gold and made a calf, and they have bowed down and sacrificed to it. They are saying, ‘These are your GODs, O Israel, who brought you out of the land of Egypt.’” Then the LORD said, “I have seen how stubborn and rebellious these people are. Now leave me alone so my fierce anger can blaze against them, and I will destroy them. Then I will make you, Moses, into a great nation.” But Moses tried to pacify the LORD his GOD. “O LORD!” he said. “Why are you so angry with your own people whom you brought from the land of Egypt with such great power and such a strong hand? Why let the Egyptians say, ‘Their GOD rescued them with the evil intention of slaughtering them in the mountains and wiping them from the face of the earth’? Turn away from your fierce anger. Change your mind about this terrible disaster you have threatened against your people! Remember your servants Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. You bound yourself with an oath to them, saying, ‘I will make your descendants as numerous as the stars of heaven. And I will give them all of this land that I have promised to your descendants, and they will possess it forever.’” So the LORD changed his mind about the terrible disaster he had threatened to bring on his people. Moses’ Response Then Moses turned and went down the mountain. He held in his hands the two stone tablets inscribed with the terms of the covenant. They were inscribed on both sides, front and back. These tablets were GOD’s work; the words on them were written by GOD himself. When Joshua heard the boisterous noise of the people shouting below them, he exclaimed to Moses, “It sounds like war in the camp!” But Moses replied, “No, it’s not a shout of victory nor the wailing of defeat. I hear the sound of a celebration.” When they came near the camp, Moses saw the calf and the dancing, and he burned with anger. He threw the stone tablets to the ground, smashing them at the foot of the mountain. He took the calf they had made and burned it. Then he ground it into powder, threw it into the water, and forced the people to drink it. Finally, he turned to Aaron and demanded, “What did these people do to you to make you bring such terrible sin upon them?” “Don’t get so upset, my lord,” Aaron replied. “You yourself know how evil these people are. They said to me, ‘Make us GODs who will lead us. We don’t know what happened to this fellow Moses, who brought us here from the land of Egypt.’ So I told them, ‘Whoever has gold jewelry, take it off.’ When they brought it to me, I simply threw it into the fire—and out came this calf!” Isaiah 24 THE “LITTLE APOCALYPSE” (24:1–27:13) The Day of the LORD Look! The LORD is about to destroy the earth and make it a vast wasteland. He devastates the surface of the earth and scatters the people. Priests and laypeople, servants and masters, maids and mistresses, buyers and sellers, lenders and borrowers, bankers and debtors—none will be spared. The earth will be completely emptied and looted. The LORD has spoken! The earth mourns and dries up, and the crops waste away and wither. Even the greatest people on earth waste away. The earth suffers for the sins of its people, for they have twisted GOD’s instructions, violated his laws, and broken his everlasting covenant. Therefore, a curse consumes the earth. Its people must pay the price for their sin. They are destroyed by fire, and only a few are left alive. Malachi 4 The Coming Day of Judgment The LORD of Heaven’s Armies says, “The day of judgment is coming, burning like a furnace. On that day the arrogant and the wicked will be burned up like straw. They will be consumed—roots, branches, and all. “But for you who fear my name, the Sun of Righteousness will rise with healing in his wings. And you will go free, leaping with joy like calves let out to pasture. On the day when I act, you will tread upon the wicked as if they were dust under your feet,” says the LORD of Heaven’s Armies. :LOOKING TO MOSES AND ELIJAH (4:4-6) “Remember to obey the Law of Moses, my servant—all the decrees and regulations that I gave him on Mount Sinai for all Israel. Look, I am sending you the prophet Elijah before the great and dreadful day of the LORD arrives.+ 6His preaching will turn the hearts of fathers to their children, and the hearts of children to their fathers. Otherwise I will come and strike the land with a curse.” Test the "spirit" in you , is it "Holy Spirit" or spirit of the world which is of devil? If you don't have the SPIRIT of Messiah in you , you are not belong to GOD !!!! Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of GOD; because many false prophets have gone out into the world. By this you know the SPIRIT of GOD: Every spirit that confesses that Yeshua Messiah has come in the flesh is of GOD, and every spirit that does not confess that Yeshua Messiah has come in the flesh is not of GOD. And this is the spirit of the AntiMessiah, which you have heard was coming, and is now already in the world. You are of GOD, little children, and have overcome them, because HE WHO is in you is greater than he who is in the world. They are of the world. Therefore they speak as of the world, and the world hears them. We are of GOD. He who knows GOD hears us; he who is not of GOD does not hear us. By this we know the spirit of TRUTH and the spirit of error. Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of GOD; and everyone who loves is born of GOD and knows GOD. He who does not love does not know GOD, for GOD is love. In this the love of GOD was manifested toward us, that GOD has sent HIS only begotten SON into the world, that we might live through HIM. In this is love, not that we loved GOD, but that HE loved us and sent HIS SON to be the propitiation for our sins. Beloved, if GOD so loved us, we also ought to love one another. No one has seen GOD at any time. If we love one another, GOD abides in us, and HIS love has been perfected in us. By this we know that we abide in HIM, and HE in us, because HE has given us of HIS SPIRIT. And we have seen and testify that the FATHER has sent the SON as Savior of the world. Whoever confesses that Yeshua is the SON of GOD, GOD abides in him, and he in GOD. And we have known and believed the love that GOD has for us. GOD is love, and the who abides in love abides in GOD, and GOD in him. Love has been perfected among us in this: that we may have boldness in the day of judgment; because as He is, so are we in this world. There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love. We love HIM because HE first loved us, If someone says, “I love GOD,” and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen, how can he love GOD whom he has not seen? And this commandment we have from HIM: that he who loves GOD must love his brother also Exodus 3 The Call of the Rescuer (3:1–4:28) Moses and the Burning Bush One day Moses was tending the flock of his father-in-law, Jethro, the priest of Midian. He led the flock far into the wilderness and came to Sinai, the mountain of GOD. There the aangel of the LORD appeared to him in a blazing fire from the middle of a bush. Moses stared in amazement. Though the bush was engulfed in flames, it didn’t burn up.“This is amazing,” Moses said to himself. “Why isn’t that bush burning up? I must go see it.” When the LORD saw Moses coming to take a closer look, GOD called to him from the middle of the bush, “Moses! Moses!” “Here I am!” Moses replied. “Do not come any closer,” the LORD warned. “Take off your sandals, for you are standing on holy ground. I AM the GOD of your father—the GOD of Abraham, the GOD of Isaac, and the GOD of Jacob.” When Moses heard this, he covered his face because he was afraid to look at GOD. Then the LORD told him, “I have certainly seen the oppression of my people in Egypt. I have heard their cries of distress because of their harsh slave drivers. Yes, I am aware of their suffering. So I have come down to rescue them from the power of the Egyptians and lead them out of Egypt into their own fertile and spacious land. It is a land flowing with milk and honey—the land where the Canaanites, Hittites, Amorites, Perizzites, Hivites, and Jebusites now live. Look! The cry of the people of Israel has reached me, and I have seen how harshly the Egyptians abuse them. Now go, for I am sending you to Pharaoh. You must lead my people Israel out of Egypt. But Moses protested to GOD, “Who am I to appear before Pharaoh? Who am I to lead the people of Israel out of Egypt?” GOD answered, “I will be with you. And this is your sign that I am the one who has sent you: When you have brought the people out of Egypt, you will worship GOD at this very mountain.”+ But Moses protested, “If I go to the people of Israel and tell them, ‘The GOD of your ancestors has sent me to you,’ they will ask me, ‘What is his name?’ Then what should I tell them?” GOD replied to Moses, “I AM WHO I AM. Say this to the people of Israel: I AM has sent me to you.” GOD also said to Moses, “Say this to the people of Israel: Yahweh, the GOD of your ancestors—the GOD of Abraham, the GOD of Isaac, and the GOD of Jacob—has sent me to you. This is my ETERNAL Name, MY NAME to remember for all generations. “Now go and call together all the elders of Israel. Tell them, ‘The LORD, the GOD of your ancestors—the GOD of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob—has appeared to me. He told me, “I have been watching closely, and I see how the Egyptians are treating you. I have promised to rescue you from your oppression in Egypt. I will lead you to a land flowing with milk and honey—the land where the Canaanites, Hittites, Amorites, Perizzites, Hivites, and Jebusites now live.”’ “The elders of Israel will accept your message. Then you and the elders must go to the king of Egypt and tell him, ‘The LORD, the GOD of the Hebrews, has met with us. So please let us take a three-day journey into the wilderness to offer sacrifices to the LORD, our GOD .’ “But I know that the king of Egypt will not let you go unless a mighty hand forces him. So I will raise my hand and strike the Egyptians, performing all kinds of miracles among them. Then at last he will let you go. And I will cause the Egyptians to look favorably on you. They will give you gifts when you go so you will not leave empty-handed. Every Israelite woman will ask for articles of silver and gold and fine clothing from her Egyptian neighbors and from the foreign women in their houses. You will dress your sons and daughters with these, stripping the Egyptians of their wealth.” Isaiah 6 Isaiah’s Cleansing and Call (6:1-13) It was in the year King Uzziah died that I saw the LORD. He was sitting on a lofty throne, and the train of his robe filled the Temple. Attending him were mighty seraphim, each having six wings. With two wings they covered their faces, with two they covered their feet, and with two they flew. They were calling out to each other, “ HOLY , HOLY, HOLY is the LORD of Heaven’s Armies! The whole earth is filled with his GLORY!” Their voices shook the Temple to its foundations, and the entire building was filled with smoke. Then I said, “It’s all over! I am doomed, for I am a sinful man. I have filthy lips, and I live among a people with filthy lips. Yet I have seen the King, the LORD of Heaven’s Armies.” Then one of the seraphim flew to me with a burning coal he had taken from the altar with a pair of tongs. He touched my lips with it and said, “See, this coal has touched your lips. Now your guilt is removed, and your sins are forgiven.” Then I heard the LORD asking, “Whom should I send as a messenger to this people? Who will go for us?” I said, “Here I am. Send me.” And he said, “Yes, go, and say to this people, ‘Listen carefully, but do not understand. Watch closely, but learn nothing.’+ Harden the hearts of these people. Plug their ears and shut their eyes. That way, they will not see with their eyes, nor hear with their ears, nor understand with their hearts and turn to me for healing.” Then I said, “ LORD, how long will this go on?” And he replied, “Until their towns are empty, their houses are deserted, and the whole country is a wasteland;+ until the LORD has sent everyone away, and the entire land of Israel lies deserted. If even a tenth—a remnant—survive, it will be invaded again and burned. But as a terebinth or oak tree leaves a stump when it is cut down, so Israel’s stump will be a holy seed.” Fear of the LORD is the foundation of wisdom. Knowledge of the Holy One results in good judgment.+ 11Wisdom will multiply your days and add years to your life.+ 1Only fools say in their hearts, “There is no GOD.” They are corrupt, and their actions are evil; not one of them does good!++ Let the Godly sing for joy to the LORD; it is fitting for the pure to praise him.+ Praise the LORD with melodies on the lyre; make music for him on the ten-stringed harp.+ Sing a new song of praise to him; play skillfully on the harp, and sing with joy.+ 4For the word of the LORD holds true, and we can trust everything he does.+ 5He loves whatever is just and good; the unfailing love of the LORD fills the earth.+ The LORD merely spoke, and the heavens were created. He breathed the word, and all the stars were born. He assigned the sea its boundaries and locked the oceans in vast reservoirs. Let the whole world fear the LORD, and let everyone stand in awe of him. For when he spoke, the world began! It appeared at his command. The LORD frustrates the plans of the nations and thwarts all their schemes But the LORD’s plans stand firm forever; his intentions can never be shaken. What joy for the nation whose GOD is the LORD, whose people he has chosen as his inheritance The LORD looks down from heaven and sees the whole human race. From his throne he observes all who live on the earth. He made their hearts, so he understands everything they do. The best-equipped army cannot save a king, nor is great strength enough to save a warrior.+ Don’t count on your warhorse to give you victory— for all its strength, it cannot save you.+ But the LORD watches over those who fear him, those who rely on his unfailing love.+ HE rescues them from death and keeps them alive in times of famine.+ We put our hope in the LORD. He is our help and our shield.+ In HIM our hearts rejoice, for we trust in his holy name. Let your unfailing love surround us, LORD, for our hope is in you alone. The LORD looks down from heaven on the entire human race; he looks to see if anyone is truly wise, if anyone seeks GOD But no, all have turned away; all have become corrupt. No one does good, not a single one!+ Will those who do evil never learn? They eat up my people like bread and wouldn’t think of praying to the LORD. Terror will grip them, for GOD is with those who obey him. The wicked frustrate the plans of the oppressed, but the LORD will protect his people.+ Fear the LORD if you are wise! His voice calls to everyone in CITY: “The armies of destruction are coming; the LORD is sending them. Does disaster come to a city unless the LORD has planned it? Indeed, the Sovereign LORD never does anything until he reveals his plans to his servants the prophets. I AM the LORD; there is no other GOD. I have equipped you for battle, though you don’t even know me, so all the world from east to west will know there is no other GOD. I AM the LORD, and there is no other. I create the light and make the darkness. I send good times and bad times. I, the LORD, am the one who does these things. Then I saw a vision of the Lord standing beside the altar. He said, “Strike the tops of the Temple columns, so that the foundation will shake. Bring down the roof on the heads of the people below. I will kill with the sword those who survive. No one will escape!+ “Even if they dig down to the place of the dead, I will reach down and pull them up. Even if they climb up into the heavens, I will bring them down.+ Even if they hide at the very top of Mount Carmel, I will search them out and capture them. Even if they hide at the bottom of the ocean, I will send the sea serpent after them to bite them.+ Even if their enemies drive them into exile, I will command the sword to kill them there. I am determined to bring disaster upon them and not to help them.”+ The Lord, the LORD of Heaven’s Armies, touches the land and it melts, and all its people mourn. The ground rises like the Nile River at floodtime, and then it sinks again.+ 6The LORD’s home reaches up to the heavens, while its foundation is on the earth. He draws up water from the oceans and pours it down as rain on the land. The LORD is his name!+ When the seventy-two disciples returned, they joyfully reported to him, “Lord , even the demons obey us when we use your name!” “Yes,” Yeshua told them, “I saw aSatan fall from heaven like lightning! Look, I have given you authority over all the power of the enemy, and you can walk among snakes and scorpions and crush them. Nothing will injure you. But don’t rejoice because evil spirits obey you; rejoice because your names are registered in heaven.” The Source of Yeshua’ Power Then a demon-possessed man, who was blind and couldn’t speak, was brought to Yeshua. He healed the man so that he could both speak and see. The crowd was amazed and asked, “Could it be that Yeshua is the Son of David, the Messiah?” But when the Pharisees heard about the miracle, they said, “No wonder he can cast out demons. He gets his power from Satan, the prince of demons.” Yeshua knew their thoughts and replied, “Any kingdom divided by civil war is doomed. A town or family splintered by feuding will fall part. And if Satan is casting out Satan, he is divided and fighting against himself. His own kingdom will not survive. And if I am empowered by Satan, what about your own exorcists? They cast out demons, too, so they will condemn you for what you have said. But if I am casting out demons by the Spirit of GOD, then the Kingdom of GOD has arrived among you. For who is powerful enough to enter the house of a strong man like Satan and plunder his goods? Only someone even stronger—someone who could tie him up and then plunder his house. “Anyone who isn’t with me opposes me, and anyone who isn’t working with me is actually working against me. “So I tell you, every sin and blasphemy can be forgiven—except blasphemy against the Holy Spirit, which will never be forgiven. Anyone who speaks against the Son of Man can be forgiven, but anyone who speaks against the Holy Spirit will never be forgiven, either in this world or in the world to come. “A tree is identified by its fruit. If a tree is good, its fruit will be good. If a tree is bad, its fruit will be bad. You brood of snakes! How could evil men like you speak what is good and right? For whatever is in your heart determines what you say. A good person produces good things from the treasury of a good heart, and an evil person produces evil things from the treasury of an evil heart. And I tell you this, you must give an account on judgment day for every idle word you speak. The words you say will either acquit you or condemn you.” The Sign of Jonah One day some teachers of religious law and Pharisees came to Yeshua and said, “Teacher, we want you to show us a miraculous sign to prove your authority.” But Yeshua replied, “Only an evil, adulterous generation would demand a miraculous sign; but the only sign I will give them is the sign of the prophet Jonah. 40For as Jonah was in the belly of the great fish for three days and three nights, so will the Son of Man be in the heart of the earth for three days and three nights. “The people of Nineveh will stand up against this generation on judgment day and condemn it, for they repented of their sins at the preaching of Jonah. Now someone greater than Jonah is here—but you refuse to repent. The queen of Sheba will also stand up against this generation on judgment day and condemn it, for she came from a distant land to hear the wisdom of Solomon. Now someone greater than Solomon is here—but you refuse to listen. “When an evil spirit leaves a person, it goes into the desert, seeking rest but finding none.+ Then it says, ‘I will return to the person I came from.’ So it returns and finds its former home empty, swept, and in order. Then the spirit finds seven other spirits more evil than itself, and they all enter the person and live there. And so that person is worse off than before. That will be the experience of this evil generation. The Day of the LORD Look! The LORD is about to destroy the earth and make it a vast wasteland. He devastates the surface of the earth and scatters the people. Priests and laypeople, servants and masters, maids and mistresses, buyers and sellers, lenders and borrowers, bankers and debtors—none will be spared. The earth will be completely emptied and looted. The LORD has spoken! The earth mourns and dries up, and the crops waste away and wither. Even the greatest people on earth waste away. The earth suffers for the sins of its people, for they have twisted GOD’s instructions, violated his laws, and broken his everlasting covenant. Therefore, a curse consumes the earth. Its people must pay the price for their sin. They are destroyed by fire, and only a few are left alive. Hear the word that the LORD speaks to you, O Israel! 2This is what the LORD says: “Do not act like the other nations, who try to read their future in the stars. Do not be afraid of their predictions, even though other nations are terrified by them.+ Their ways are futile and foolish. They cut down a tree, and a craftsman carves an idol. They decorate it with gold and silver and then fasten it securely with hammer and nails so it won’t fall over.+ Their gods are like helpless scarecrows in a cucumber field! They cannot speak, and they need to be carried because they cannot walk. Do not be afraid of such gods, for they can neither harm you nor do you any good.” LORD, there is no one like you! For you are great, and your name is full of power.+ Who would not fear you, O King of nations? That title belongs to you alone! Among all the wise people of the earth and in all the kingdoms of the world, there is no one like you. People who worship idols are stupid and foolish. The things they worship are made of wood! 9They bring beaten sheets of silver from Tarshish and gold from Uphaz, and they give these materials to skillful craftsmen who make their idols. Then they dress these GODs in royal blue and purple robes made by expert tailors. But the LORD is the only true GOD. He is the living GOD and the everlasting King! The whole earth trembles at HIS anger. The nations cannot stand up to his wrath.+ Say this to those who worship other GODs: “Your so-called gods, who did not make the heavens and earth, will vanish from the earth and from under the heavens.”+ But GOD made the earth by his power, and he preserves it by his wisdom. With his own understanding he stretched out the heavens. When he speaks in the thunder, the heavens roar with rain. He causes the clouds to rise over the earth. He sends the lightning with the rain and releases the wind from his storehouses. The whole human race is foolish and has no knowledge! The craftsmen are disgraced by the idols they make, for their carefully shaped works are a fraud. These idols have no breath or power.+ Idols are worthless; they are ridiculous lies! On the day of reckoning they will all be destroyed.+ But the GOD of Israel is no idol! He is the Creator of everything that exists, including Israel, his own special possession. The LORD of Heaven’s Armies is his name!+ Hear this, you leaders of the people. Listen, all who live in the land. In all your history, has anything like this happened before?+ Tell your children about it in the years to come, and let your children tell their children. Pass the story down from generation to generation. 4After the cutting locusts finished eating the crops, the swarming locusts took what was left! After them came the hopping locusts, and then the stripping locusts, too!+ Wake up, you drunkards, and weep! Wail, all you wine-drinkers! All the grapes are ruined, and all your sweet wine is gone.+ A vast army of locusts has invaded my land, a terrible army too numerous to count. Its teeth are like lions’ teeth, its fangs like those of a lioness.+ It has destroyed my grapevines and ruined my fig trees, stripping their bark and destroying it, leaving the branches white and bare.+ Weep like a bride dressed in black, mourning the death of her husband. For there is no grain or wine to offer at the Temple of the LORD. So the priests are in mourning. The ministers of the LORD are weeping.+ 10The fields are ruined, the land is stripped bare. The grain is destroyed, the grapes have shriveled, and the olive oil is gone.+ Despair, all you farmers! Wail, all you vine growers! Weep, because the wheat and barley— all the crops of the field—are ruined.+ The grapevines have dried up, and the fig trees have withered. The pomegranate trees, palm trees, and apple trees— all the fruit trees—have dried up. And the people’s joy has dried up with them.+ This is what the LORD says—Israel’s King and Redeemer, the LORD of Heaven’s Armies: “I AM the First and the Last; there is no other GOD. WHO is like me? Let him step forward and prove to you his power. Let him do as I have done since ancient times when I established a people and explained its future.+ Do not tremble; do not be afraid. Did I not proclaim my purposes for you long ago? You are my witnesses—is there any other GOD? No! There is no other Rock—not one!” How foolish are those who manufacture idols. These prized objects are really worthless. The people who worship idols don’t know this, so they are all put to shame.+ Who but a fool would make his own GOD— an idol that cannot help him one bit?+ All who worship idols will be disgraced along with all these craftsmen—mere humans— who claim they can make a GOD. They may all stand together, but they will stand in terror and shame. The blacksmith stands at his forge to make a sharp tool, pounding and shaping it with all his might. His work makes him hungry and weak. It makes him thirsty and faint.+ Then the wood-carver measures a block of wood and draws a pattern on it. He works with chisel and plane and carves it into a human figure. He gives it human beauty and puts it in a little shrine.+ He cuts down cedars; he selects the cypress and the oak; he plants the pine in the forest to be nourished by the rain. Then he uses part of the wood to make a fire. With it he warms himself and bakes his bread. Then—yes, it’s true—he takes the rest of it and makes himself a GOD to worship! HE makes an idol and bows down in front of it!+ He burns part of the tree to roast his meat and to keep himself warm. He says, “Ah, that fire feels good.” Then he takes what’s left and makes his GOD: a carved idol! He falls down in front of it, worshiping and praying to it. “Rescue me!” he says. “You are my god!”+ Such stupidity and ignorance! Their eyes are closed, and they cannot see. Their minds are shut, and they cannot think.+ The person who made the idol never stops to reflect, “Why, it’s just a block of wood! I burned half of it for heat and used it to bake my bread and roast my meat. How can the rest of it be a GOD? Should I bow down to worship a piece of wood?”+ The poor, deluded fool feeds on ashes. He trusts something that can’t help him at all. Yet he cannot bring himself to ask, “Is this idol that I’m holding in my hand a lie?”+ Restoration for Jerusalem “Pay attention, O Jacob, for you are my servant, O Israel. I, the LORD, made you, and I will not forget you.+ I have swept away your sins like a cloud. I have scattered your offenses like the morning mist. Oh, return to me, for I have paid the price to set you free.”+ Sing, O heavens, for the LORD has done this wondrous thing. Shout for joy, O depths of the earth! Break into song, O mountains and forests and every tree! For the LORD has redeemed Jacob and is glorified in Israel.+ This is what the LORD says— your Redeemer and Creator: “I am the LORD, who made all things. I alone stretched out the heavens. Who was with me when I made the earth?+ I expose the false prophets as liars and make fools of fortune-tellers. I cause the wise to give bad advice, thus proving them to be fools.+ But I carry out the predictions of my prophets! By them I say to Jerusalem, ‘People will live here again,’ and to the towns of Judah, ‘You will be rebuilt; I will restore all your ruins!’+ Hebrews 2 A Warning against Drifting Away Consequences of Apostasy 1So we must listen very carefully to the truth we have heard, or we may drift away from it. For the message GOD delivered through angels has always stood firm, and every violation of the law and every act of disobedience was punished.+ 3So what makes us think we can escape if we ignore this great salvation that was first announced by the Lord Yeshua himself and then delivered to us by those who heard him speak?+ 4And GOD confirmed the message by giving signs and wonders and various miracles and gifts of the Holy Spirit whenever he chose. Yeshua, the Man (2:5-18) The Son Temporarily Lower Than Angels 5And furthermore, it is not angels who will control the future world we are talking about. 6For in one place the Scriptures say, “What are mere mortals that you should think about them, or a son of man that you should care for him? Yet you made them only a little lower than the angels and crowned them with glory and honor. You gave them authority over all things.”+ Now when it says “all things,” it means nothing is left out. But we have not yet seen all things put under their authority. What we do see is Yeshua, who was given a position “a little lower than the angels”; and because he suffered death for us, he is now “crowned with glory and honor.” Yes, by GOD’s grace, Yeshua tasted death for everyone.+ The Son of GOD Became Human GOD, for whom and through whom everything was made, chose to bring many children into glory. And it was only right that he should make Yeshua, through HIS suffering, a perfect leader, fit to bring them into their salvation. So now Yeshua and the ones he makes holy have the same Father. That is why Yeshua is not ashamed to call them his brothers and sisters.+ 12For he said to GOD, “I will proclaim your name to my brothers and sisters. I will praise you among your assembled people.”+ He also said, “I will put my trust in him,” that is, “I and the children GOD has given ME” Because GOD’s children are human beings—made of flesh and blood—the Son also became flesh and blood. For only as a human being could he die, and only by dying could he break the power of the devil, who had the power of death. This man lived among the burial caves and could no longer be restrained, even with a chain. Whenever he was put into chains and shackles—as he often was—he snapped the chains from his wrists and smashed the shackles. No one was strong enough to subdue him. Day and night he wandered among the burial caves and in the hills, howling and cutting himself with sharp stones. When YESHUA was still some distance away, the man saw him, ran to meet him, and bowed low before him. With a shriek, he screamed, “Why are you interfering with me, YESHUA, Son of the Most High GOD? In the Name of GOD, I beg you, don’t torture me! For YESHUA had already said to the spirit, “Come out of the man, you evil spirit.” Then YESHUA demanded, “What is your name?” And he replied, “My name is Legion, because there are many of us inside this man.” Then the evil spirits begged him again and again not to send them to some distant place. There happened to be a large herd of pigs feeding on the hillside nearby. “Send us into those pigs,” the spirits begged. “Let us enter them.” So YESHUA gave them permission. The evil spirits came out of the man and entered the pigs, and the entire herd of about 2,000 pigs plunged down the steep hillside into the lake and drowned in the water. The herdsmen fled to the nearby town and the surrounding countryside, spreading the news as they ran. People rushed out to see what had happened. A crowd soon gathered around YESHUA, and they saw the man who had been possessed by the legion of demons. He was sitting there fully clothed and perfectly sane, and they were all afraid. Then those who had seen what happened told the others about the demon-possessed man and the pigs. And the crowd began pleading with YESHUA to go away and leave them alone. As YESHUA was getting into the boat, the man who had been demon possessed begged to go with him. But YESHUA said, “No, go home to your family, and tell them everything the LORD has done for you and how merciful he has been.” So the man started off to visit the Ten Towns of that region and began to proclaim the great things YESHUA had done for him; and everyone was amazed at what he told them. To an Unknown GOD.’ This GOD, WHOM you worship without knowing, is the one I’m telling you about. “HE is the GOD WHO MADE the World and EVERYTHING IN IT. Since HE is LORD of heaven and earth, HE doesn’t live in man-made temples, and human hands can’t serve his needs—for HE has no needs. HE HIMSELF gives life and breath to everything, and HE satisfies every need. From one man ( one blood , Adam) HE created all the nations throughout the whole earth. HE decided beforehand when they should rise and fall, and he determined their boundaries. “ His purpose was for the nations to seek after GOD and perhaps feel their way toward HIM and find HIM —though HE is not far from any one of us. For in HIM we live and move and exist. As some of your own poets have said, ‘We are HIS offspring.’ And since this is TRUE, we shouldn’t think of GOD as an idol designed by craftsmen from gold or silver or stone. “ GOD overlooked people’s ignorance about these things in earlier times, but now HE COMMANDS EVERYONE EVERYWHERE to REPENT of their sins and turn to HIM. For he has set a day for judging the world with justice by the man HE has appointed, and HE proved to everyone who this is by raising HIM from the dead.” And just as each person is destined to die once and after that comes judgment,so also Christ died once for all time as a sacrifice to take away the sins of many people. He will come again, not to deal with our sins, but to bring salvation to all who are eagerly waiting for him. For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life through YESHUA MESSIAH our LORD. As surely as I live, says the Sovereign LORD, you will not quote this proverb anymore in Israel. 4For all people are mine to judge—both parents and children alike. And this is my rule: The person who sins is the one who will die. Therefore, I will judge each of you, all nations according to your actions, says the Sovereign LORD. Repent, and turn from your sins. Don’t let them destroy you! Put all your rebellion behind you, and find yourselves a new heart and a new spirit. Why should you die, O people ? I don’t want you to die, says the Sovereign LORD. Turn back and live! The Future Resurrection of the Dead But tell me this—since we preach that MESSIAH rose from the dead, why are some of you saying there will be no resurrection of the dead? For if there is no resurrection of the dead, then MESSIAH has not been raised either. And if MESSIAH has not been raised, then all our preaching is useless, and your faith is useless. And we apostles would all be lying about GOD —for we have said that GOD raised MESSIAH from the grave. But that can’t be true if there is no resurrection of the dead. And if there is no resurrection of the dead, then MESSIAH has not been raised. And if MESSIAH has not been raised, then your faith is useless and you are still guilty of your sins.In that case, all who have died believing in MESSIAH are lost! And if our hope in MESSIAH is only for this life, we are more to be pitied than anyone in the world. But in fact, MESSIAH has been raised from the dead. HE is the first of a great harvest of all who have died. So you see, just as death came into the world through a man, now the resurrection from the dead has begun through another man. Just as everyone dies because we all belong to Adam, everyone who belongs to MESSIAH will be given new life. But there is an order to this resurrection: MESSIAH was raised as the first of the harvest; then all who belong to MESSIAH will be raised when he gcomes back. After that the end will come, when HE will turn the Kingdom over to GOD the FATHER, having destroyed every ruler and authority and power.+ For MESSIAH must reign until HE humbles all HIS enemies beneath HIS feet. And the last enemy to be destroyed is death.For the Scriptures say, “ GOD has put all things under HIS authority.” (Of course, when it says “all things are under his authority,” that does not include GOD HIMSELF, who gave MESSIAH HIS authority. Then, when all things are under HIS authority, the SON will put HIMSELF under GOD’s authority, so that GOD, who gave HIS SON AUTHORITY OVER All THINGS, will be utterly SUPREME over EVERYTHING EVERYWHERE. Now therefore, be wise, O kings; Be instructed, you judges of the earth. Serve the LORD GOD YESHUA MESSIAH with fear, And rejoice with trembling. Heal the sick, and tell them, ‘The Kingdom of GOD is near you now.’ But if a town refuses to welcome you, go out into its streets and say, ‘We wipe even the dust of your town from our feet to show that we have abandoned you to your fate. And know this—the Kingdom of GOD is near!’ I assure you, even wicked Sodom will be better off than such a town on judgment day. “What sorrow awaits you, Korazin and Bethsaida! For if the miracles I did in you had been done in wicked Tyre and Sidon, their people would have repented of their sins long ago, clothing themselves in burlap and throwing ashes on their heads to show their remorse. Yes, Tyre and Sidon will be better off on judgment day than you. And you people of Capernaum, will you be honored in heaven? How do you read it?” The man answered, “‘You must LOVE the LORD your GOD with all your HEART, all your SOUL, all your STRENGTH, and all your MIND .’ And, ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’” “Right!” YESHUA told him. “Do this and you will live!” Parable of the Good Samaritan The man wanted to justify his actions, so he asked YESHUA, “And who is my neighbor?” YESHUA replied with a story: “A Jewish man was traveling from Jerusalem down to Jericho, and he was attacked by bandits. They stripped him of his clothes, beat him up, and left him half dead beside the road. “By chance a priest came along. But when he saw the man lying there, he crossed to the other side of the road and passed him by. A Temple assistant walked over and looked at him lying there, but he also passed by on the other side. “Then a despised Samaritan came along, and when he saw the man, he felt compassion for him. Going over to him, the Samaritan soothed his wounds with olive oil and wine and bandaged them. Then he put the man on his own donkey and took him to an inn, where he took care of him. The next day he handed the innkeeper two silver coins, telling him, ‘Take care of this man. If his bill runs higher than this, I’ll pay you the next time I’m here.’ “Now which of these three would you say was a neighbor to the man who was attacked by bandits?” YESHUA asked. The man replied, “The one who showed him mercy.” Then YESHUA said, “Yes, now go and do the same.” YESHUA Visits Martha and Mary Martha, Mary, and Lazarus As YESHUA and the disciples continued on their way to Jerusalem, they came to a certain village where a woman named Martha welcomed HIM into her home. Her sister, Mary, sat at the LORD’s feet, listening to what HE taught. But Martha was distracted by the big dinner she was preparing. She came to YESHUA and said, “ LORD, doesn’t it seem unfair to you that my sister just sits here while I do all the work? Tell her to come and help me.” But the LORD said to her, “My dear Martha, you are worried and upset over all these details! There is only one thing worth being concerned about. Mary has discovered it, and it will not be taken away from her.”

It is with great soberness and heaviness of heart that I write this post as GOD has commanded me. The "Day of the LORD in the Valley of Decision" is upon us. Evil is walking openly in our land, and around the world, to an extent that would absolutely astound and horrify the average Christian were they to open their eyes and see. We're so busy hiding in our nice comfortable little homes, and in our comfortable little church buildings, and in our multitude of projects; we can't run fast enough to hide our eyes and ears from what's going on in our land. Through every possible media source and the actions of millions of people, Satan's statements are coming through loud and clear: "Serve me, or die!" Who's going to warn these people in the Valley of Decision? Who's going to fight for their souls? Who's going to give them the message that they don't have to serve Satan? Who has the faith to pick up the sword of the LORD and go to battle? The war is upon us, beloved. Whether we like it or not, there's no escaping it. The days are evil, and the time is short. We ourselves are faced with a decision. Either we serve Satan or we pick up the sword and fight - many of us will lay down our lives in the process. So, the issue confronts us, where do WE stand with GOD? Do you know Hrim personally? Does He talk to you? Do you walk with HIM? Are you close enough to Him so that when you're faced with pure demonic power you can stand against it in the power and authority of YESHUA MESSIAH ? Or has sin in your life given Satan legal ground to attack you? If so, you can't hope to stand against him. What are you going to do when you're faced with the issue of either giving your own children for sacrifice or being sacrificed yourself? Are you able to stand against that kind of evil? How will the glitter of the "Christian" TV stars stand in the face of such evil? It cannot stand. This post is written to start to prepare you to face this kind of evil. YESHUA accomplished it for us on the cross when He suffered and died. "And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it." Colossians 2:15 Now it is up to us to walk in a relationship with the Lord whereby we, too, can triumph over these powers and authorities in the precious name and wonderful power of YESHUA MESSIAH. But I tell you in truth, if you have sin in your life, if you do not have a personal relationship with the Lord, then you will not stand, and your decision, in the Valley of Decision, will be the wrong one.

And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever— the SPIRIT of TRUTH, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you. I will not leave you orphans; I will come to you. Indwelling of the Father and the Son “A little while longer and the world will see Me no more, but you will see Me. Because I live, you will live also. At that day you will know that I am in My Father, and you in Me, and I in you. He who has My commandments and keeps them, it is he who loves Me. And he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and manifest Myself to him.” Judas (not Iscariot) said to HIM, “ LORD , how is it that You will manifest Yourself to us, and not to the world?” YESHUA answered and said to him, “If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home with him. He who does not love Me does not keep My words; and the word which you hear is not Mine but the Father’s who sent Me. The Gift of His Peace “These things I have spoken to you while being present with you. But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you. Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. You have heard Me say to you, ‘I am going away and coming back to you.’ If you loved Me, you would rejoice because I said, ‘I am going to the Father,’ for My Father is greater than I. “And now I have told you before it comes, that when it does come to pass, you may believe. I will no longer talk much with you, for the ruler of this world ( anti christ)is coming, and he has nothing in Me. But that the world may know that I love the FATHER, and as the Father gave Me commandment, so I do. Arise, let us go from here. The Work of the Holy Spirit “But now I go away to Him who sent Me, and none of you asks Me, ‘Where are You going?’ 6But because I have said these things to you, sorrow has filled your heart.Nevertheless I tell you the truth. It is to your advantage that I go away; for if I do not go away, the Helper will not come to you; but if I depart, I will send Him to you. And when He has come, He will convict the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment: 9of sin, because they do not believe in Me; of righteousness, because I go to My Father and you see Me no more; of judgment, because the ruler of this world is judged. “I still have many things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now. However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come. He will glorify Me, for He will take of what is Mine and declare it to you. All things that the Father has are Mine. Therefore I said that He will take of Mine and declare it to you. The LORD’s voice cries to the city— Wisdom shall see Your name: “Hear the rod! Who has appointed it? Will a bird fall into a snare on the earth, where there is no trap for it? Will a snare spring up from the earth, if it has caught nothing at all? If a trumpet is blown in a city, will not the people be afraid? If there is calamity in a city, will not the LORD have done it? Surely the Lord GOD does nothing, Unless He reveals His secret to His servants the prophets. The LORD YESHUA MESSIAH, the ONLY SAVIOR Thus says the LORD: I AM the LORD, and there is no other; There is no GOD besides Me. I will gird you, though you have not known ME, That they may know from the rising of the sun to its setting That there is none besides Me. I AM the LORD, and there is no other; I form the light and create darkness, I make peace and create calamity; I, the LORD, do all these things.’ Now therefore, be wise, O kings; Be instructed, you judges of the earth. Serve the LORD GOD YESHUA MESSIAH with fear, And rejoice with trembling. Kiss the SON LORD YESHUA MESSIAH, lest HE be angry, And you perish in the way, When His wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all those who put their trust in Him. YESHUA Gives True Rest At that time YESHUA answered and said, “I thank You, FATHER, LORD of heaven and earth, that You have hidden these things from the wise and prudent and have revealed them to babes. Even so, Father, for so it seemed good in Your sight. All things have been delivered to ME by MY Father, and no one knows the Son except the Father. Nor does anyone know the Father except the Son, and the one to whom the Son wills to reveal Him. COME to ME, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For MY yoke is easy and MY burden is light.” Life and Judgment Are Through the Son “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who hears My word and believes in Him who sent Me has everlasting life, and shall not come into judgment, but has passed from death into life. Most assuredly, I say to you, the hour is coming, and now is, when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God; and those who hear will live. For as the Father has life in Himself, so He has granted the SON to have life in Himself, and has given Him authority to execute judgment also, because He is the Son of Man. Do not marvel at this; for the hour is coming in which all who are in the graves will hear His voice and come forth—those who have done good, to the resurrection of life, and those who have done evil, to the resurrection of condemnation. I can of Myself do nothing. As I hear, I judge; and My judgment is righteous, because I do not seek My own will but the will of the Father who sent Me. The Fourfold Witness “If I bear witness of Myself, My witness is not true. There is another who bears witness of Me, and I know that the witness which He witnesses of Me is true. You have sent to John, and he has borne witness to the truth. 34Yet I do not receive testimony from man, but I say these things that you may be saved. 35He was the burning and shining lamp, and you were willing for a time to rejoice in his light. But I have a greater witness than John’s; for the works which the Father has given Me to finish—the very works that I do—bear witness of Me, that the Father has sent Me. And the Father Himself, who sent Me, has testified of Me. You have neither heard His voice at any time, nor seen His form. But you do not have His word abiding in you, because whom He sent, Him you do not believe. You search the Scriptures, for in them you think you have eternal life; and these are they which testify of Me. But you are not willing to come to Me that you may have life. “I do not receive honor from men. But I know you, that you do not have the love of God in you. I have come in My Father’s Name, and you do not receive Me; if another comes in his own name,( antichrist )him you will receive. How can you believe, who receive honor from one another, and do not seek the honor that comes from the only God? Do not think that I shall accuse you to the Father; there is one who accuses you—Moses, in whom you trust. For if you believed Moses, you would believe Me; for he wrote about Me. But if you do not believe his writings, how will you believe My words?” Make a joyful shout to the LORD, all you lands! Serve the LORD with gladness; Come before His presence with singing. Know that the LORD, HE is GOD; It is He who has made us, and not we ourselves;a We are His people and the sheep of His pasture. Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, And into His courts with praise. Be thankful to Him, and bless His name. For the LORD is good; His mercy is everlasting, And His truth endures to all generations. “The labor of Egypt and merchandise of Cush And of the Sabeans, men of stature, Shall come over to you, and they shall be yours; They shall walk behind you, They shall come over in chains; And they shall bow down to you. They will make supplication to you, saying, ‘Surely GOD is in you, And there is no other; There is no other GOD.’ ” Truly YOU are GOD, who hide Yourself, O GOD of Israel, the Savior! They shall be ashamed And also disgraced, all of them; They shall go in confusion together, Who are makers of idols. But Israel shall be saved by the LORD With an everlasting salvation; You shall not be ashamed or disgraced Forever and ever. For thus says the LORD, WHO created the heavens, WHO is GOD, WHO formed the earth and made it, WHO has established it, WHO did not create it in vain, WHO formed it to be inhabited: “I AM the LORD, and there is NO OTHER. The land shall be entirely emptied and utterly plundered, For the LORD has spoken this word. The earth mourns and fades away, The world languishes and fades away; The haughty people of the earth languish. The earth is also defiled under its inhabitants, Because they have transgressed the laws, Changed the ordinance, Broken the everlasting covenant. By the creation of today, the rod and the staff of GOD shall comfort me in the Name of YESHUA MESSIAH KILLING THE DRAGON THERE ARE WICKED POWERS to contend with One of the entities that must be disgraced and paralysed is the spiritual entity called the dragon. It is a sort of principality in the spiritual realm. These are generals in the satanic kingdom. They are symbols of uncommon wickedness. Those who fall prey to ferocious dragons may never live to tell the story. Therefore, warriors who want to tackle dragons must be well equipped and should not pray like gentlemen. A dragon is a spirit that has been empowered by the kingdom of darkness to swallow their victims alive. Psalms 91:13 says: Thou shalt tread upon the lion and adder: the young lion and the dragon shalt thou trample under feet. Revelation 12:11 says: And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death. THE NATURE OF THE DRAGON The dragon is a poisonous entity. It is armed to the teeth. It venom when injected into the system of a victim causes instant termination of life. Many victims of the wicked have become casualties that are for the grave Unless you attack the dragon, it will attack you. The battle against it is not for inexperienced soldiers. Its spirit must be attacked. Its power must be destroyed. Its strength must be weakened. The only antidote for dealing with wicked dragons is total destruction and death. Prayers for killing the dragon are uncommon prayers. Mercy must be forgotten when it comes to dragon killing prayers. The prayers must be said swiftly, mercilessly, violently and with fire. Once you kill the dragon, elementary powers will give way. Killing the dragon can be likened to killing the captain of the satanic army. Of course, the moment you finish the dragon all the other powers will flee. These prayer points must be said persistently. Do not expect the dragon to give up after the initial blow. You need to rain blows upon blows on it before you will be able to finish its wicked mission. Never spare it; for even if you avoid it you will not be spared. The only secret of victory over the dragon is to fight your way to victory. This prayer programme differs from other prayer programmes. You need to possess the spirit of the warrior, the faith of an overcomer, the aggressiveness of a soldier and the doggedness of a fighter. The battle may be tough. You may experience certain manifestations. Keep on fighting. You are not involved in this battle for the fun of it. Total victory must be your goal. Every dragon fighting against you must die. I take authority over the princes of media in the NAME OF YESHUA MESSIAH (Dan. 8:20). I bind spiritual wickedness in high places (Eph. 6:12). LORD, destroy the idols in high places (Lev. 26:30). I pray for the gateway cities in my nation to become gateways of righteousness and not iniquity. LORD, raise up bethel churches that will be the gate of heaven (Gen. 28:17). LORD, raise up apostolic gate churches that will usher presence and revelation into my region. Prayers Against Idols Let any idol in my life or nation be destroyed and burned with Your fire (1 Kings 15:13). LORD, cut down all the idols in the land (2 Chron. 34:7). Let the familiar spirits, wizards, and idols be taken out of the land (2 Kings 23:24). Let the idols be confounded and the images be broken in pieces (Jer. 50:2). Let men throw away their idols and turn to You, O LORD (Isa. 31:7). I renounce all idolatry in my bloodline and break all curses of idolatry in the NAME OF YESHUA MESSIAH (2 Kings 21:21). Prayers That Destroy Oppression I rebuke and cast out any spirit that would attempt to oppress me in the NAME OF YESHUA MESSIAH. YESHUA, You went about doing good and healing all those oppressed of the devil (Acts 10:38). I strip all power from spirits that would oppress me (Eccles. 4:1). I rebuke and cast out all spirits of poverty that would oppress me (Eccles. 5:8).
