But this verse reminds us that our sufficiency does not come from what is in our hands—it comes from the God who holds everything in His hands. God is able to make all grace abound toward you. His grace is not limited to forgiveness; it includes His favor, provision, strength, wisdom, and everything you need to accomplish what He has called you to do. Notice that God doesn't promise merely enough to survive. He speaks of “abundance for every good work.” When God provides, His desire is not simply to bless us so that we can keep everything for ourselves.
