BEYOND WHAT WE ASK OR IMAGINE
A WORD FROM THE WORD:
"Never doubt God’s mighty power to work in you and accomplish all this. He will achieve infinitely more than your greatest request, your most unbelievable dream, and exceed your wildest imagination! He will outdo them all, for his miraculous power constantly energizes you. Now we offer up to God all the glorious praise that rises from every church in every generation through Jesus Christ—and all that will yet be manifest through time and eternity. Amen! Ephesians 3:20-21 TPT.
In our anchor Scripture above, we see Paul, the apostle, by the inspiration of the Holy Spirit reminding us of God's power and glory. As humans, our expectations often fall short, but God's power is limitless, and as such, can never be measured.
God is not bound by our limited understanding or situations and circumstances, for He is who He is ~ Supreme and Sovereign among His other attributes. His glorious power is limitless, boundless and immeasurable.
Take a reflective look on the areas of your life where you have not been acknowledging God's power and glory, and what He can do. Write down any expectations you have placed on yourself, on others, or on God, then surrender those expectations to His unlimited power as you completely put your trust on Him. You will have the rewards of His limitless power, as it cloaks you with guidance, fulfilment of purpose, and His peace that surpasses every understanding.
PRAYER BULLETS:
ABBA Father, thank You for reminding me of Your limitless power. Strengthen my faith and give me confidence in Your power which is now working in me.
Help me as I release my expectations and fully trust in Your ability to go beyond what I can ask or imagine.
FURTHER READING:
Jeremiah 32:17; Matthew 19:26; Luke 1:37; Romans 8:31; Philippians 4:13.

WISDOM FOR GOD'S PURPOSE
A WORD FROM THE WORD:
"Your servant is here among the people you have chosen, ....... give your servant a discerning heart to govern your people and to distinguish between right and wrong. For who is able to govern this great people of yours?” 1 Kings 3:8-9 NIV.
As humans, the natural default setting of our attitude is selfishness. And so sometimes, even in our Christian life we tend to be and exhibit selfishness, all we care about is what will benefit us personally.
This is a major reason we need divine wisdom for God's purpose. King Solomon recognised his need, and asked of the LORD for divine wisdom to discern right from wrong, not for his selfish gain but to benefit the people of God, his people, Israel.
As Christians let's be careful and know when we are praying selfish prayers, or going for those things that will benefit us personally.
The Holy Spirit admonishes us in the Scripture through Paul the apostle, 'Don’t be selfish; don’t try to impress others. Be humble, thinking of others as better than yourselves. Don’t look out only for your own interests, but take an interest in others, too.' Philippians 2:3-4 NLT.
PRAYER BULLETS:
ABBA Father, thank You for the inspiration through Your word to me today to be selfless in my service to You and relationships with others.
I receive increased grace and wisdom to impact others with the investment of what You have made me to become, to Your glory.
FURTHER READING:
Matthew 20:26-27; Luke 22:26-27; Philippians 2:5-8.

TRUSTWORTHINESS IN PRAYER 2
A WORD FROM THE WORD:
"But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen....for your Father knows what you need before you ask him." Matthew 6:6-8 NIV.
Sometimes it is easy for us to fall into the (prevalent) trap of trying to impress (others) in the place of prayer with highfalutin words and flowery phrases. Most of us believe albeit wrongly that eloquence and/or showmanship will impress God, no, on the contrary, He is impressed with the positive and reverential matters of the heart; hence the LORD Jesus' reminder to us in the anchor Scripture on the need for our prayers to be honest, coming from the depths of our hearts.
When you go into your secret place to pray, there's no need to impress anyone. Your Father in Heaven knows what your needs are already, even before you ask Him in prayer. There's no doubt about the truthful fact that your heavenly Father desires a genuine relationship with you, where you would approach Him in honesty and without pretending. Your Father wants you to share the joys, the hopes, even the fears and the sorrows, without the fear of condemnation or being judged.
PRAYER BULLETS:
ABBA Father, thank You for who You are. I come before You with a humble heart, embracing the freedom to be my genuine self in Your presence.
FURTHER READING:
1 Samuel 16:7; Luke 18:9-14; Romans 8:26-27; James 4:3.

TRUSTWORTHINESS IN PRAYER 1
A WORD FROM THE WORD:
"But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen....for your Father knows what you need before you ask him." Matthew 6:6-8 NIV.
Trustworthiness in prayer involves expressing your true and real self before God, acknowledging your vulnerabilities and weaknesses, this requires humility, as you recognise that you are utterly dependent on Him for your needs and life. Your Father is impressed by the sincerity of your heart and not by empty words or grand gestures.
Being trustworthy in prayer can be achieved by sincerely taking a moment to examine your prayer life, ascertain whether your approaches to God in the place of prayer are with pure heart; laying bare your true emotions, feelings and thoughts. You should endeavour to be real, not putting on a facade, or trying to appear 'holier-than-thou.' Don't forget that God sees your heart, and meets you right at the point where you are.
PRAYER BULLETS:
ABBA Father, help me to let go of any pretence in my prayers and to approach You in honesty with my weaknesses and vulnerabilities. I trust that You already know what I need, I rest in Your loving care.
FURTHER READING:
1 Samuel 16:7; Luke 18:9-14; Romans 8:26-27; James 4:3.

TURNING POINT 2
A WORD FROM THE WORD:
"When the LORD restored the fortunes of Zion, we were like those who dream. Then our mouth was filled with laughter, and our tongue with shouts of joy; then they said among the nations, 'The LORD has done great things for them.'" Psalm 126:1-2 ESV
Have faith and trust because these words are coming to pass in your life. Just like that? You ask, yes, just like that, by the reason of your dogged faith in Him, and according to His will for you.
What about 'the labour factor'? You ask again, He waived that for you for this to take place, just go ahead and activate the thanksgiving mode inside you now as much as you can, as you engage your spiritual lungs to frontload the reality of His word, '... In everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving, let your request be made known to God.' (Philippians 4:6), and it will be yours.
PRAYER BULLETS:
Father LORD, thank You for the salvation of my soul. Help me by Your Spirit with the resilient faith to activate the favour factor for my life's turning point.
FURTHER READING:
1 Chronicles 4:9-10; 13:7-14; 1 Kings 4:1-7; Luke 5:4-6; John 16:24.

THE POWER OF AGREEMENT IN RELATIONSHIPS
A WORD FROM THE WORD:
"Can two walk together, unless they are agreed?’’ Amos 3:3 NKJV.
The context of our foundational Scripture today underscores the importance of agreement, illustrating how mutual understanding and shared purpose are very much essential for effective and profitable partnerships among believers. That doesn’t mean that you should not hold identical views on issues with unbelievers as a child of God, as long as it glorifies God.
The Word of God admonishes that we, ‘Don’t team up with those who are unbelievers. How can righteousness be a partner with wickedness? How can light live with darkness? What harmony can there be between Christ and the devil? How can a believer be a partner with an unbeliever?’ (2 Corinthians 6:14-15 NLT).
You need and should have a real grasp and understanding of the fundamentals of your faith.
In all your pursuits in life and ministry, you must endeavour to align your shared intention and purpose to the principles of God's Word and return all the glory to Him.
PRAYER BULLETS:
LORD Jesus, thank You for the wonderful partnership with You. Strengthen my walk with You, and my interpersonal relationships with others, believers and unbelievers alike.
FURTHER READING:
Psalm 133:1; Philippians 2:2; 1 Corinthians 1:10; Ecclesiastes 4:9-10; Matthew 18:19-20.

FIXING OUR EYES ON THE LORD JESUS AS A LIFESTYLE
A WORD FROM THE WORD:
".....Focusing our eyes on Jesus, who is the Author and Perfecter of faith....." Hebrews 12:2 AMP.
First of all, it is very vital and important that every child of God fixes their gaze on the LORD Jesus for salvation, and then for instructions on living, and that includes our actions and inactions also.
The LORD Jesus after one of His numerous teaching crusades sent off His disciples to the next town across the lake, so He could have a solitary moment in the place of prayer. While they were still in their boat on the lake, He came walking toward them (on the lake), terrified that it was a ghost, they cried out but He calmed them with the assurances of His identity. Peter desiring to prove a 'point of faith' demanded the LORD to bid him to walk towards Him on water, the LORD Jesus did and he, 'focusing on the LORD Jesus' began to walk on the water until he removed his focus on the LORD Jesus, and started considering the boisterous elements and then began to sink.
It's not just enough for you to 'keep your focus on the LORD Jesus' momentarily, but to 'fix your eyes unto Him' as a lifestyle, and as such, He 'en-lightens' you. (Psalm 34:5).
PRAYER BULLETS:
LORD Jesus, I'm very grateful for the salvation of my soul. Help me by Your grace to keep focusing on You.
FURTHER READING:
Acts 4:10-12; Matthew 14:22-32; Psalm 35:4; John 12:21; Mark 16:17-18.

PRAYER BULLETS: LORD Jesus, I'm very grateful for the salvation of my soul. Help me by Your grace to keep focusing on You. FURTHER READING: Acts 4:10-12; Matthew 14:22-32; Psalm 35:4; John 12:21; Mark 16:17-18. __________________________________________ ©️ Amaobi Nwachukwu 2026. SUNDAY SEPTEMBER 6, 2026
PRAISE AS A PATHWAY TO GOD'S PRESENCE
A WORD FROM THE WORD:
"And when they had prayed, the place where they were assembled together was shaken; and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and they spoke the word of God with boldness. Now the multitude of those who believed were of one heart and one soul; neither did anyone say that any of the things he possessed was his own, but they had all things in common. with great power the apostles gave witness to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus. And great grace was upon them all." Acts 4:31-33 NKJV.
This was a time when God visited His people as recorded in the Scripture, and His visitation to them was when they were with Him in true worship and living. It was a time their enemy decided to discourage them through threats and sundry afflictions, and so with the outpouring of the Spirit, they were never the same.
Did you notice that the disciples did not begin to blame God or men for their problems but rather, they rejoiced that they have been counted worthy to suffer what the LORD Jesus did?
When God visits with and pours His Spirit on you, He will raise you from abandonment into His caring bosom. Before this outpouring will occur, the following must take place.
1). Seeking The LORD With A Pure Heart:
The LORD desires that you must seek Him with a pure heart (Jeremiah 20:9).
Your life must be changed from bad to good and you must deliberately position yourself in the arena of His presence by doing the needful (2 Chronicles 7:14).
2). Praise Him:
You must be a person of praise, (a non-complainant), ever-praiseful (Habakkuk 3:17-19).
Praising God brings down His glory and presence in the lives of His people (Acts 16:25-26).
3). Earnest Prayer:
You must seek the LORD with all your heart in prayer (James 5:16b-18).
Until you pray, Heaven will not answer (2 Chronicles 7:14).
The prayer must be fervent, painstakingly powerful, such that it is more powerful than the inter-continental ballistic missiles in a carnal warfare, and God doesn't resist it, neither can the devil hinder it. When we talk about earnest prayer, it's not the congregational prayer, but the prayer of the closet, personal secret place.
This is where the Bible says that whoever dwells there 'shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.' (Psalm 91:1). This was the kind of prayer that Paul and Silas made in the prison before an earthquake occurred and something happened (Acts 16:25-26).
PRAYER BULLETS:
ABBA Father, that I might position myself in the arena of Your Presence. I desire to pray according to Your will for me, help me.
I don't want to be subject to the tyranny of my moods with regards to prayer.
FURTHER READING:
Acts 16:25-26; 2 Chronicles 7:14-15; Jeremiah 20:9.

God has a will, purpose and calling on your life. Why wait for the purpose to fulfill itself? Get yourself up and pursue God's purpose and will for your life today.
PRAYER BULLETS:
ABBA Father, I want to pursue Your will for my life, help me to discover, walk in it and fulfill it to the glory of Your name.

FRIDAY SEPTEMBER 4, 2026
SEEKING GOD ABOVE WORLDLY PURSUITS
A WORD FROM THE WORD:
"Like the desire of the roe for the water-streams, so is my soul's desire for you, O God. My soul is dry for need of God, the living God; when may I come and see the face of God?" Psalm 42:1 BBE.
One of the major signs evincing salvation of the human soul is hunger for God. It is about ever longing for God and always desiring to be in His presence. The psalmist compares it as 'the deer pants for streams of water,' (Psalm 42:1 NIV). Those who hunger for God are blessed because they shall be filled, this implies that God is willing to fill your vacuum if only you first recognise that an emptiness exists in you that needs to be filled. You must thirst for the filling and also make yourself available for it.
Many of God's people do not enjoy this filling because they neither thirst for God nor recognise the emptiness and vacuum in their Christian life. So many are poor, needy and shallow; the larger number are empty; yet they make so much noise around and therefore fail to seek to be filled. Anything that is stagnant has the tendency to diminish even if it is not leaking, and except it is refilled, it may finish and disaster sets in. This is very true of God's children and servants (especially) who never take a break to refill.
Hunger for constant revival of the spirit man is what is needed for God to help one to stay fresh and current in the spirit.
Love for God and constant desire for a higher ground and level of walk with Him are few of the things that stir up hunger for God. The hungrier you are, the more of God you find. Have you examined your hunger level for God lately?
How thirsty are you for God compared to worldly pursuits and desires? Emptiness in spiritual things will lead to emptiness in all other things. But when you find God, you will find every other thing you are looking for. Conversely, if you reject God, you will lose all, plus your eternity.
PRAYER BULLETS:
Loving Father, reveal more of Yourself to me. Help me to love You more than life itself, may I never be barren of good things in destiny.
FURTHER READING:
Psalm 42:1-8; Matthew 5:1-6; Psalm 27:4.

LIVING ABOVE WORLDLY PATTERNS 3
A WORD FROM THE WORD:
"For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh. For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ, and being ready to punish all disobedience when your obedience is fulfilled." 2 Corinthians 10:3-6 NKJV
You must learn and endeavour to heed the admonition of Paul, the apostle by the Holy Spirit's inspiration to separate yourself from worldly influences, and these includes rejecting cultural strongholds, obedience to God's Word over the patterns of the evil world system, and living the Kingdom lifestyle. (Romans 12:2).
Renew your mind continually with the Word of God. Your mind is a barrier in its natural state, but when renewed with God's Word, victory is assured. The same God who caused Sarah to conceived at the age of 90 is still the same today, don't set your mind on what is seen and known.
You're a co-creator with God, and made alive unto Him, therefore, you have been empowered to live above the patterns of the world.
PRAYER BULLETS:
Precious Holy Spirit, engrace me to follow Your guidance in life's warfares.

Romans 8:6-7; Romans 12:2; Philippians 2:5; Philippians 4:13.

LIVING ABOVE WORLDLY PATTERNS 2
A WORD FROM THE WORD:
"For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh. For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ, and being ready to punish all disobedience when your obedience is fulfilled." 2 Corinthians 10:3-6 NKJV
The stronghold you face in battle as a believer in Christ Jesus is that which is geared towards capturing and taking hold of your mind, which includes the emotions, will and intellect, but the good thing here is that your warfare is not a physical one, and as a child of God, moreover, you have access to God's armoury to help you win.
What determines your spirituality is the depth which the state of your mind is rooted and anchored on God's Word. If your mind would not receive the word of God, it would be difficult for you to become a child of God in deed. Your dominion over powers of darkness begins with the backing of the Spirit of God when you are connected to Him. Your cultural background has a way of toying with your mind, but God is saying don't allow the patterns of this world to sway and win over your mind. The worldly way does not agree with the principles of God's Word and as such, your obedience to the Word of God will not be fulfilled when you follow it.
Walk in the Spirit, and depend on Him fully for the enabling and sustaining grace to live beyond the flesh, replacing lies with the the truth of God's Word. The Holy Spirit's enduement will help you to confront negative and deceptive thought patterns.
PRAYER BULLETS:
LORD Jesus, give me the grace to continually renew my mind in You, and to confront and overcome negative and deceptive patterns.

LIVING ABOVE WORLDLY PATTERNS 1
A WORD FROM THE WORD:
"For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh. For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ, and being ready to punish all disobedience when your obedience is fulfilled." 2 Corinthians 10:3-6 NKJV
Life is spiritual and should not be handled with levity, especially as a believing child of God. Spiritual warfare is an aspect of the life you are expected to experience knowingly or not, as a believer or unbeliever. But as a believer in Christ Jesus, you must need the help of the Holy Spirit to help you secure and win the very battlefield of this war - even the battlefield of your mind.
You must endeavour to align your thoughts with the demands of Heaven on your life, by willingly and actively combating negative and deceptive thoughts with the truth of God's Word and obedience.
Because this warfare is not physical, non-carnal weapons are employed, so you must grow spiritually and rely completely on the help and guidance of the Holy Spirit for victory.
PRAYER BULLETS:
Father LORD, I want to always win the spiritual wars I'm faced with, help me with all I need.

MONDAY AUGUST 31, 2026
GUARD THE GATES OF THE HEART
A WORD FROM THE WORD:
"LORD, who may dwell in your sacred tent?
Who may live on your holy mountain? The one whose walk is blameless, who does what is righteous, who speaks the truth from their heart." Psalm 15:1-2 NIV.
King David, by the Holy Spirit's inspiration in our anchor Scripture examines the root cause of disqualification of many from the presence of God. He then provided a list of attitudes, habits and practices that qualify one to be in the presence of God, such as uprightness, righteousness and truth in the heart, among others, are the top requirements for one to remain in God's presence.
Solomon, the wise king, again, by the inspiration of the Holy Spirit once counsels, '......Guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it.' (Proverbs 4:23 NIV). Our LORD Jesus admonishes further, '......Out of the heart come evil thoughts, murder, adultery, sexual immorality, theft, false witness, slander.
(Matthew 15:19 ESV).
When a heart is leaky, backbiting, evil imaginations, judgmental reproach of brethren and pride will dominate the character. However, a submissive, sanctified and consecrated life always seeks to keep the gates of the heart closed to the rampaging habits and ways of life that dominate the present evil world system. If you desire to ascend God's holy hill, then strive to guard your heart with all diligence and keep your gates closed to all influences of sin. Shut out every manner of evil companions, evil communicnations, gain mastery over your appetite, be careful how you spend your time and your money, be watchful over any wiles of the devil that may want to take advantage of any little opening in your heart.
Guard the gates of your heart safe and secure by prayer, righteous living and the Word of God. Don't forsake the assembly of God's people, fellowship with other believers regualrly and find something doing for God. This way the gates of your heart will be shut against the enemy of your soul and destiny.
PRAYER BULLETS:
Father LORD, thank You for the privilege of salvation. I ask that You purge my heart of every sinful pollutant. Give me the strength for righteous living, that my heart may not be lured into sin.
FURTHER READING:
Psalm 24:3-5; Proverbs 4:20-27; Philippians 4:8-9; 1 Corinthians 15:33.

LIVING A LIFE OF HOLINESS AND PURITY
A WORD FROM THE WORD:
"Live a life filled with love, following the example of Christ. He loved us and offered himself as a sacrifice for us, a pleasing aroma to God." Ephesians 5:2 NLT.
Every follower of the LORD Jesus who is true to their calling must endeavour to live in the light as an example of the LORD Jesus to the world. The thirst after righteousness and chastity in their life must be unquenchable.
In the present world, people will want you to believe that every manner of immorality and unfaithfulness is the norm thing as men and women everywhere engage in them. It is rampant among our youths on campuses and society at large, even some ministers of the Gospel are not left out. But truth is that it is not the will of God concerning you.
However, in spite of the filthiness enveloping our generation, you must be on the LORD's side and like Joshua declare thus: '...as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.' (Joshua 24:15 NKJV).
It is disheartening to see how Christian parents form blind to how rascally their male children dress and their female children's nudity in the name of freedom and fashion. The consciousness of victory over the flesh must begin with the knowledge that you are God's temple, expected to maintain purity within and without. No true revival has ever taken place without a prevalence of the Spirit of Holiness in God's chosen vessels.
You are His vessel for revival, so keep yourself pure.
PRAYER BULLETS:
Father LORD, engrace me by Your Spirit to remain pure, and be an example of the believer in all things. Deliver this generation from the spirit of immortality.
FURTHER READING:
1 Corinthians 6:19-21; 1 Peter 1:15-16; Romans 12:1-2; 2 Timothy 2:20-21.

CRUCIFYING THE FLESH
A WORD FROM THE WORD:
"Could it be any clearer that our former identity is now and forever deprived of its power? For we were co-crucified with him to dismantle the stronghold of sin within us, so that we would not continue to live one moment longer submitted to sin's power." Romans 6:6 TPT.
The three greatest enemies of a Christian are Satan, sin and self. Confrontations by Satan manifest through direct attacks by demonic spirits or indirectly through human agents. The dominance of sin was the problem of humanity until God sent His Son to condemn sin in the flesh.
On the other hand, the flesh is the greatest enemy of the believer. When a child of God has their flesh truly crucified, there will be power over satanic confrontations and temptation to sin. Such victory makes a Christian to affirm like Paul the apostle, 'Sin is no longer your master, for you no longer live under the requirements of the law. Instead, you live under the freedom of God’s grace.' (Romans 6:14 NLT).
You must endeavour to take practical steps as one under God's grace to crucify the flesh with its demands, and let the Word of God dwell richly in you.
Be sure to destroy all inducing materials; resist every temptation; reject every enticement; renounce ungodly frienships; and be careful about what you feed your eyes and spirit on; seek counsel on any besetting sins; be constantly involved in God's service; and be disciplined. Also, receive and rely on God's grace through prayer and His Word.
Crucifying the flesh means to be dead to sin; to receive the power of God to live above sin. Ask God for this work of grace with determination and faith to end the works of the flesh, He will give you the enablement through His Spirit.
PRAYER BULLETS:
Father LORD, in the name of the LORD Jesus, and by the help of the Holy Spirit, I repent of every work of the flesh in my life. Help me to live a victorious and Spirit-filled life.

Colossians 3:1-10; Romans 8:13; Galatians 2:20; 5:19-21.

THE GOD OF A SECOND TOUCH
A WORD FROM THE WORD:
'At that moment, the Lord, who was being led through the courtyard by his captors, turned around and gazed at Peter. All at once Peter remembered the words Jesus had prophesied over him, “Before the rooster crows in the morning, you will deny three times that you even know me.” Peter burst into tears, ran off from the crowd, and wept bitterly.' Luke 22:61-62 TPT.
God is a God of second opportunity, otherwise no man will ever make Heaven. But for such chance, Peter as we read in our anchor Scripture above would have lost his life and position in the kingdom to the devil, like many people already have. He was not only a child of God, but the leader of the disciples and with whom the LORD Jesus was very close. It's on record that his home was one of the few the LORD Jesus frequently visited yet, at a crucial hour, Peter denied his long-time friend, mentor and Creator. The Bible says that at that critical point, '..... the Lord turned, and looked upon Peter. And Peter remembered the word of the Lord, how he had said unto him, Before the **** crow, thou shalt deny me thrice. And Peter went out, and wept bitterly. (Luke 22:61-62 KJV).
Revival is all about another opportunity or a second encounter with God and not a call to sinners to repent. Every new touch of God comes with new freshness and the more of God's touch we have the fresher we become. The heart of man is such that except God touches it again and again, one time touch may not be sufficient for a lifetime.
When was the last time you had a fresh touch from God? Oh, that God will touch you again today, and cause you to return to Him, your first love, cause you to begin to pray, fast, read the Word and evangelise like the days of old, when you could not go to bed without renewing your contact with God. When breakfast was a sin without quiet time, may God take you back to those wonderful experiences again.
PRAYER BULLETS:
LORD Jesus, thank You for privilege of the grip of Your grace. Visit me again, and cause my life to be filled with Your presence.
FURTHER READING:
Luke 22:54-62; Revelation 2:1-5.

SPIRITUAL STAMINA
A WORD FROM THE WORD:
"...Then we will be able to run life's marathon race with passion and determination, for the path has been already marked out before us." Hebrews 12:1 TPT.
Just like it takes physical stamina to run in, win a marathon, it requires spiritual stamina to run in and win the spiritual race.
It's not every victory that comes suddenly, and some breakthroughs are products of trained endurance, passion and determination; that is the grace to remain standing, believing, and obeying even when answers seem not to be forthcoming.
For many, they start well but give up along the way due to the lack of spiritual stamina. The admonition we get from God's Word opines that 'the race is not to the swift' (Ecclesiastes 9:11 NKJV), but to those who refuse to give up. Spiritual stamina is that quiet strength that keeps praying when results are not forthcoming, that keeps trusting God when evidence is barely visible, and keeps obeying when emotions are tired.
God never withholds His grace from those who asks, when spiritual stamina is at work, discouragement loses its grip, faith matures, and destiny is secured.
Spiritual stamina is not a given, but is developed in the quarry of trust and obedience, as you align with God's will and purpose for you. The benefits are out of this world as you will not quit halfway, or succumb as you inch closer to the finish line.
PRAYER BULLETS:
Loving LORD, thank You for showing Yourself strong on my behalf. Strengthen my heart, and renew my faith. Help me build the spiritual stamina that finishes strong.
FURTHER READING:
Hebrews 12:1-3; 2 Timothy 4:7-8; Galatians 6:9; James 1:2-4.

STRENGTHENED THROUGH HIS SPIRIT
A WORD FROM THE WORD:
"That He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man." Ephesians 3:16 NKJV.
There is an aspect of weakness that rest, in its physiological curativeness cannot cure and encouragement cannot fix. It is the weariness that resonates within the inner being of a being when the heart feels tired, the mind feels heavy, and the spirit feels drained. That is why Paul the apostle, by the inspiration of the Holy Spirit from the context of our foundational Scripture (Ephesians 3:1-21) desires inner strength for God's children, not just outward relief.
When God strengthens your inner being, fear loses control, discouragement fades, and endurance rises. You may still face pressure, but you will not collapse under it. You may still walk through challenges, but they will not break you. This same inner strength is what sustained David in the wilderness, Jeremiah in persecution, and Paul in affliction. It is the strength availed by the Holy Spirit, it is quiet, steady, and powerful.
As you align yourself to God’s will for your life, He renews your inner being through His Spirit, and causes you to rise with fresh strength for your assignments.
Send an invite to the Holy Spirit now, to strengthen your inner being.
Would you? If it has to be, it's up to you.
PRAYER BULLETS:
LORDJesus, strengthen me in my inner being by Your Spirit. Renew my resolve to align with Your will for me, and uphold me by Your power.
FURTHER READING:
1 Samuel 30:6; Jeremiah 15:20-21; 2 Corinthians 12:9-10.

THE STEPS OF THE GODLY
A WORD FROM THE WORD:
"The LORD directs the steps of the godly.
He delights in every detail of their lives." Psalm 37:23 BBE.
For you as a believing child of God, life becomes lighter, easier and more meaningful when you give the LORD God full control and allow Him to direct your steps (and stops too). Diverse experiences and frustrations arise not because God is absent, but because decisions are made without His guidance. When God orders your steps, He goes ahead of you to arrange outcomes, remove traps, and align (your) helpers (of destiny) along the way.
God is not only interested in your destination, but also in your journey first and foremost.
Every step matters, and some delays are divine protections, and some redirections are answers to prayers you did not know how to pray. What may look like a detour could be God preserving your destiny. Those who walk with God do not rush blindly; they move discerningly. David often inquired of the LORD before battle and never lost when he followed divine direction. When God orders your steps, even mistakes are redeemed, and losses are restored.
As you move forward, surrender your plans, pathways and pace to God. Endeavour to trust Him enough to lead, correct, and guide you, because any life ordered by God cannot end in confusion.
PRAYER BULLETS:
Father LORD, thank You for the privilege of ordered steps. Lead me away from error and guide me into paths of peace and purposeful progress.
FURTHER READING:
Proverbs 3:5-6; Jeremiah 10:23; Isaiah 30:21; Romans 8:28.

STEADFAST UNTIL VICTORY
A WORD FROM THE WORD:
"So now, beloved ones, stand firm, stable, and enduring. Live your lives with an unshakable confidence. We know that we prosper and excel in every season by serving the Lord, because we are assured that our union with the Lord makes our labor productive with fruit that endures." 1 Corinthians 15:58 TPT.
Faith is not only believing God for miracles, it's required steadfastly also when results are slow and answers seem to be delayed. Many believers start in faith but end up in the flesh, and unstable when pressure increases. Yet Scripture makes the call of God upon us to stand firm, that is to remain unmoved by situations, circumstances, opinions, and momentary setbacks.
Steadfast faith is quiet but powerful. It is not given to panic, neither is it spasmodic or subject to mood swings. It does not quit or fluctuate with emotions. It is faith that remains rooted in God’s Word even when feelings disagree and situations resist. Those blessed with steadfast faith do not waste energy fighting fear, rather they stay and are focused on obedience. One undeniable product of steadfast faith is undeniable results.
God is strengthening your spiritual footing, to give you undeniable and unshakable victory. May you not be distracted, and remain firmly focused until your victory manifests.
PRAYER BULLETS:
LORD Jesus, thank You for the privilege of faith. Help me to stand firm and remain faithful regardless of the situations and circumstances I am faced with.

STRENGTH THROUGH HIS SPIRIT
A WORD FROM THE WORD:
"That He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man,." Ephesians 3:16 NKJV.
In this life, especially as a believing child of God, there are battles that you cannot win by physical strength, emotional intelligence, mental intelligence or willpower. Your true victory begins in your inner man, the very spiritual core of your being. When your inner man, powered by God's Spirit is strong, external situations and circumstances would surely lose their power to overwhelm you.
Paul the apostle, by the inspiration of the Holy Spirit had a clear understanding of this truth, and so his prayers were not for external blessings, but for inner strength. Reasons for this are simple: When your inner man is strengthened, the following (though not exhaustive will definitely be evident.
1). You will endure and overcome challenges without breaking down.
2). You will firmly withstand situations and circumstances that overwhelmed others.
3). Your view will always be from God’s perspective instead of reactionary actions resulting from fear.
4). Your demeanour and walk will be in anchored in peace even in times of turbulence.
So many lives, even that of Christians, are in disarray because their inner man is not strengthened by God's Spirit. One of the mistakes God's children make is to daily feed their bodies, and neglect and starve their inner man, yet expect to walk in victory. The Holy Spirit helps you draw strength from Him through prayer, God's Word, worship, and a consistent walk with God (Jude 20).
Your inner man receives supernatural strength when your spirit is fortified, and you become unshakable.
Won't you rather draw strength for your inner man through His Spirit?
PRAYER BULLETS:
Father LORD, strengthen me in my inner man by Your Spirit. Renew my courage, fortify my faith, and fill me with divine strength for every assignment You have given me.

Isaiah 40:29-31; 2 Corinthians 4:16-18; Colossians 1:11.

#ThePilgrimsGuide.THE PILGRIMS GUIDE SATURDAY AUGUST 22, 2026 STRENGTH THROUGH HIS SPIRIT A WORD FROM THE WORD: "That He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man,." Ephesians 3:16 NKJV. FRIDAY AUGUST 21, 2026
BE AT PEACE IN THE KNOWLEDGE OF GOD
A WORD FROM THE WORD:
"Be at peace in the knowledge that I am God: I will be lifted up among the nations, I will be honoured through all the earth." Psalm 46:10 BBE.
In this boisterous and noisy world that is replete with pressures, demands, and constant hiccups, God, is through the psalmist, and by the inspiration of the Holy Spirit in our anchor Scripture, calling His people to the stillness that comes from the peace of the knowledge that He is God. Being at peace (or being still, NIV) is an act of faith that acknowledges God’s Omnipotence and Sovereignty over every situation. It demonstrates choosing confidence in God’s power over the anxieties about outcomes.
Many times, we tend to move too fast for God to speak clearly to and about us, but stillness creates the enabling environment for divine clarity, direction, and peace. When your heart is still and experiences the peace that comes from the knowledge of God, confusion settles, fear loses its hold, and faith is restored.
Replete in the Scripture are situations where God revealed Himself in moments of peaceful surrender; an instant example is Elijah's encounter with God, not in the wind or fire, but in a gentle whisper (1 Kings 19:11-13). The LORD Jesus would often retreat to quiet places to pray, even in the midst of pressing demands (Mark 1:35).
Stillness is where perspective returns, and power is sustained where stillness is practiced. I would counsel that you resist the urge to panic, force results, or rush decisions. Let God be God. When you are at peace in the knowledge of God, He fights, speaks, restores, and reigns.
PRAYER BULLETS:
Father LORD, thank You. I ask You for the grace to be still, know, and recognise Your Sovereignty, as You become exalted in my life.
FURTHER READING:
Isaiah 30:15; Proverbs 3:5-6; Philippians 4:6-7.
