Heavenly Father, I thank You for sending Jesus in the power of the Holy Spirit to Galilee, where His teaching brought glory & a report spread through the land. As He stood in the synagogue of Nazareth, unrolled the scroll of Isaiah & proclaimed Your anointing upon Him, I marvel at His mission.

Lord Jesus, You declared: "The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because You have anointed me to preach good news to the poor". Empower Your Church today to bring hope to the marginalized, liberty to captives, sight to the blind, and freedom to the oppressed.

Proclaim through us the year of Your favour, healing broken hearts and setting free those bound by sin and suffering.

Gracious God, as Jesus fulfilled this Scripture before astonished eyes, stir our hearts to live Your liberating love. May we, filled with Your Spirit, announce salvation's dawn in our communities, reflecting Your compassion for the suffering. Today this Scripture is fulfilled in our hearing and doing. Amen

Lord Jesus, may I never doubt your saving help and your ever watchful presence, especially in times of adversity. Fortify my faith with courage and my hope with steady perseverance that I may never waver in placing all my trust in you who are my all

Lord Jesus, when the winds rise and the waves feel stronger than my faith, I confess how quickly fear fills my heart. Like the disciples, I strain at the oars, forgetting that You see me even in the darkest night.

Forgive me for the hardness of my heart when I focus more on the storm than on Your presence. Teach me to recognize You when You come near, even when You arrive in unexpected ways. Speak Your peace into my life and remind me that You are Lord over every wind, every wave, and every fear within me.

Help me trust Your power, not just in miracles I understand, but in moments that stretch my faith. Strengthen me to rest in Your words, “It is I; do not be afraid.” I place my life, my worries, and my future into Your steady hands. Amen.

Lord Jesus Christ, you satisfy the deepest longings of our hearts and you feed us with the finest of wheat (Psalm 81:16). Fill me with gratitude for your blessings and give me a generous heart that I may freely share with others what you have given to me.

Loving Father, as Jesus saw the vast crowd, his heart overflowed with compassion for them, like sheep without a shepherd, and He taught them at length. When evening came and hunger struck in that deserted place, he took the five loaves and two fish, looked to heaven, blessed, broke, and multiplied them to feed five thousand, leaving twelve baskets full.

Merciful God, stir in me that same compassionate heart. Guide me amid life's deserts, teaching me Your truths and satisfying my deepest hungers—spiritual and physical.

Like the loaves You blessed, multiply my humble efforts in the family, at work and care for the needy. Lord Jesus, make me a shepherd after Your own heart, generous provider for the weary. Renew my strength, fill me to abundance, that I may serve others with grateful joy. Amen.
