- Mystery of the Living God's Church
Preface
In every generation, people have wrestled with the same questions: What is the true Church? Where can it be found? Who belongs to it? These questions are not new, yet they remain as urgent today as they were in the days of the apostles.
We live in a world filled with countless groups that call themselves “churches.” Each has its own teachings, traditions, and practices. Each claims to represent God. Yet, when we look closely, we see division instead of unity, contradiction instead of harmony. This raises a profound mystery: if there is one God, why are there so many churches?
This Chapter, Mystery of the Living God’s Church, is written to guide the reader into the heart of that question. It is not a work of human speculation or denominational defense. Rather, it is an exploration of the Scriptures themselves, where God reveals the truth about His Church.
The Gospel ahead will uncover the Church as the Body of Christ, the blessed Bread of life, and ultimately, as Christ Himself. We will see that the true Church is not a building, an institution, or a human organization, but a living reality founded, owned, and sustained by Jesus Christ.
Part One:
What Is the Church of God?
The Question of Many Peoples
In every city, town, and village, one cannot help but notice the multitude of groups that call themselves “churches.” Each belongs to a different denomination or religious movement, each with its own teachings, traditions, and ways of worship. Yet, despite their shared claim of serving God, they do not walk together in unity.
Every group insists on its own truth. Every group defends its own doctrine. And though nearly all of them speak about God, they do not agree with one another. This reality raises deep and troubling questions in the hearts of many:
- How many churches does God truly have?
- What exactly is a church?
- Which one is the true church?
- Who is the owner and builder of the church?
- How can we find the true church?
These are not small questions. They go to the very heart of faith and salvation. To answer them, we must turn not to human traditions or institutions, but to the Word of the Living God.
The Church as the Body of Christ
The Scriptures reveal that the Church is not a building, a denomination, or an earthly organization. Instead, it is described as the Body of Christ.
- Colossians 1:18 — “And He is the head of the body, the church; He is the beginning, the firstborn from among the dead, so that in everything He might have the supremacy.”
- Ephesians 4:4–5 — “There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called to one hope when you were called; one Lord, one faith, one baptism.”
The Church is one body, with Christ as its Head. Believers are united to Him and to one another as members of this living body. This is the first great truth: the Church is not many, but one.
---
The Church as Blessed Bread
The Scriptures also reveal another mystery: the Church is represented as bread.
- Matthew 26:26 — “While they were eating, Jesus took bread, and when he had given thanks, he broke it and gave it to his disciples, saying, ‘Take and eat; this is my body.’”
Here, bread symbolizes the Body of Christ. Since the Body is the Church, the bread also represents the Church. Before giving it to His disciples, Jesus blessed the bread—showing that the Church is blessed food for His followers.
Thus, the Church is not only the Body of Christ but also the spiritual nourishment of His disciples. It is food for the soul, blessed and given by Christ Himself.
Jesus Christ Is the Church
The mystery deepens further: Jesus Himself declares that He is the Bread of Life.
- John 6:35 — “I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never go hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty.”
- John 6:48 — “I am the bread of life.”
If the bread is the Body, and the Body is the Church, then the Church is Christ Himself. He is the foundation, the head, the life, and the very substance of the Church. To understand the Church is to understand Christ. To belong to the Church is to belong to Him.
The Rock and the Builder
Jesus confirmed this truth when He spoke to Peter:
- Matthew 16:17–18 — “Blessed are you, Simon son of Jonah, for this was not revealed to you by flesh and blood, but by my Father in heaven. And I tell you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of Hades will not overcome it.”
Notice: Jesus says “my church”—singular, not plural. He is the builder, the owner, and the foundation. His Church is not a man-made institution but a spiritual building established on the Word of God. And it cannot be destroyed by the powers of hell.
Entering Into Christ (the Church)
How then does one enter this true Church?
1. The Key Understanding
- Jesus Christ is the Church. To enter the Church is to enter the Son of God (1 John 5:20).
2. The Gift of God
- John 3:16 — God gave His Son as a gift. A gift is not earned; it is received. Salvation is not by human effort but by grace.
3. The Truths of Salvation
- The world did not ask for the Son, yet He came to save.
- The world was unbelieving, yet salvation requires faith in Him.
4. Christ the Way
- John 14:6 — Jesus is the only way to the Father.
- John 5:24 — Hearing His Word and believing brings eternal life.
→ Hearing the Word → Faith → New Birth → Entry into God’s family.
5. The Family Picture
- Just as you did not choose your earthly family, you do not place yourself into God’s family. Christ Himself brings you in (John 10:16).
6. The Blood of Christ
- Ephesians 2:13 — We are brought near by His blood. It is His blood that places us into His Church.
7. The Great Truth
- Christ is revealed.
- The Word is heard.
- Faith is born.
- By His blood, we are placed in Him.
Summary of the Mystery
- The Church is the Body of Christ, with Christ as its Head.
- The Church is blessed Bread, spiritual food for His disciples.
- The Church is Christ Himself, the Bread of Life.
- Jesus is the builder and owner of His one true Church.
- Entry into the Church is not by human effort but by faith, new birth, and the blood of Christ.
Therefore, to belong to the Church is to belong to Christ. To understand the Church is to understand Him. To be born again.
THE CHURCH IS A DWELLING, NOT A PLACE YOU GO
“Very truly I tell you, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life and will not be judged but has crossed over from death to life.” — John 5:24
• If you read and understand the Gospel, you will see that you do not “go” to church — rather, you dwell in it.
• The Church is an eternal dwelling place.
• You do not put yourself into this Church; you are placed into it by God.
• You are taken out of another church(Kingdom of Darkness-Death), which belongs to Satan, and transferred into the true Church of Christ. (John 5:24)
This is what Jesus meant when He said you have passed from death into life.
───
Placed Into Eternal Life
• You are placed into this Church through faith in Jesus Christ (John 3:16).
• This Church is the true life, and it exists forever.
• To be in the Church is to be in Christ — a spiritual reality, not a physical location.
───
Do Not Be Mistaken
• If you say you “go” to church, you misunderstand.
• The true Church is not a building you visit, but a spiritual dwelling where you abide forever.
• These are things that happen in the Spirit, not in human structures.
───
Summary
1. The Church is eternal, not temporal.
2. You are placed into it by faith, not by human effort.
3. The Church is the dwelling of eternal life in Christ.

GOD Has His People – Part 1
> “For those God foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brothers and sisters. And those He predestined, He also called; those He called, He also justified; those He justified, He also glorified.”
> Romans 8:29–30
So what shall we say then? We have all heard it —those of the Gospel are the ones who truly hear this Word.
SALVATION IS ONLY FOR HIS OWN!
---
What does “whoever” really mean?
> “For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.”
> John 3:16
“Whoever” refers only to His own.
For we have seen that SALVATION does not extend to every soul, but only to those who were chosen.
---
Compare
> “When the Gentiles heard this, they were glad and honored the word of the Lord; and all who were appointed for eternal life believed.”
> Acts 13:48
---
Jesus Christ did not die for everyone
Jesus Christ did not die for all people, but for God’s chosen ones only. He died and rose again for them.
As the Scripture clearly declares, He will save His people from their sins:
> “She will give birth to a son, and you are to give Him the name Jesus, because He will save His people from their sins.”
> Matthew 1:21
---
His people are those given to Him by the Father
“His people” are those whom God gave Him—the beloved ones of the Father:
> “For You granted Him authority over all people that He might give eternal life to all those You have given Him.”
> John 17:2
> “I have revealed Your name to those whom You gave Me out of the world. They were Yours; You gave them to Me and they have obeyed Your word.”
> John 17:6
---
Clear Message: SALVATION is not for everyone, but for those chosen by God beforehand to be His people. Jesus Christ came to save those whom the Father gave to Him.

*Sermon 1a: THE LOVE OF GOD*
Greetings beloved ones of Christ .
To the saints of God and to you also, souls who will believe in the name of His Son, may Grace and Peace from the Lord Jesus Christ be with you.
*. Preface*
Love is the most talked-about word, yet the least understood. We chase it in relationships, work for it, and beg for it. But God’s love doesn’t work like ours. It doesn’t wait for us to deserve it, ask for it, or fix ourselves first. This sermon confronts us with _Rudo RwaMwari_ - the love of God - a love that came down into a broken, captive world as a gift: Jesus Christ. As you read, ask yourself: Have I truly received this gift, or am I still trying to earn what was already given?

Scripture
*
_For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life._
John 3:16
God loved the world and showed His love by giving it His only Son. Right here we already see the demonstration of love by God.
He gave His only Son as a gift to the World. A gift is something you’re given without having sought it or asked for it, you’re given it without doing anything to deserve it. This Son is a gift given to the world.
The world did not ask for the Son.
This gift is not many, it is only one.
The world is not righteous.
And the world is where Satan dwells. The world is in captivity under the Devil.
_We know that we are children of God, *and that the whole world lies under the power of the evil one.*_
1 John 5:19
The world is a symbol of Satan’s kingdom. The world = people who are not saved.
The world is facing a great judgment (Acts 17:30-31) because it has sinned, it is not righteous, its works are corrupt.
So into that world came the love of God, shown by the coming of His Son who is the Messiah, the Lord and Savior of the world, so that the world may be saved by Him.
At His birth He was told to be named Jesus because He is the Savior of His people.
_She will give birth to a son, and you are to give Him the name Jesus, because He will save His people from their sins._
Matthew 1:21
That Son is called Jesus.
He is the only one who can save, to take people out of sin. And
Because He is coming to save His people through His Truth as He says here
_Then you will know the truth, and the truth *will set you free*._
Jesus answered them, “I tell you the truth, everyone who sins is a slave *to sin*. Now a slave has no permanent place in the family, but a son belongs to it forever. So if the Son sets you free, you will be *free* indeed.”
John 8:32, 34-36
God cares for His people, He won’t leave their souls in distress under the yoke of sin.
He brought the Deliverer, His Son, so that people may be set free through Him.
Believing (receiving the gift) delivers from death because the whole world lies in death.
So receiving Him brings salvation.
There is nowhere else you will find true Love except in God.
*Here is a trustworthy saying that deserves full acceptance: Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners—of whom I am the worst.*
1 Timothy 1:15
Salvation is not searched for, it just comes. And the world cannot justify itself, it failed to save itself.
This word is being preached to you so that you may turn to God and be baptized in the name of Jesus, so that your sins may be wiped away.
*. Summary*
This sermon centers on John 3:16 and explains God’s love as sacrificial, undeserved, and freeing. Three main truths are laid out:
1. *God’s love is demonstrated*: He didn’t just speak love, He gave His only Son as a gift. A gift is unasked for and unearned.
2. *The world’s condition is desperate*: The world is unrighteous, under Satan’s power, facing judgment. It cannot save itself.
3. *Jesus is the solution*: He came as Savior and Truth to set sinners free. Salvation comes not by searching, but by believing and receiving Him through repentance and baptism in His name.
The call is clear: Turn to God, because true love and true freedom are found in Christ alone.
Lesson - 3 Key Points*
*Point 1: God’s Love is a Gift, Not a Wage*
_Text: John 3:16_
We don’t earn God’s love. The world never asked for a Savior, yet God gave one. A gift is received by faith, not by works. If you’re trying to “be good enough” for God, you’ve missed the point. He loved first.
*Point 2: The World is Sick and Cannot Heal Itself*
_Text: 1 John 5:19, Acts 17:30-31_
The sermon calls the world “Satan’s kingdom” - a place of sin, captivity, and coming judgment. Religion, money, or self-effort cannot fix a heart enslaved to sin. Diagnosis must come before cure. We must see our need before we value the Savior.
*Point 3: Jesus Brings Freedom Through Truth*
_Text: John 8:32-36, Matthew 1:21_
Jesus didn’t come just to improve us, He came to free us. Sin makes us slaves, but the Son makes us sons. His truth breaks chains. This freedom is accessed by belief - receiving the gift - which leads to repentance and baptism in Jesus’ name for forgiveness of sins.
*. Study Questions*
Use these for personal reflection or small group discussion:
1. *Understanding the Gift*
The sermon says “a gift is given without seeking or asking”. How does that change the way you relate to God compared to trying to “earn” His approval?
2. *Diagnosing the Problem*
Why does the sermon emphasize that “the world is not righteous” and “lies under the power of the evil one”? Do you agree with this view of the world? Why or why not?
3. *Jesus the Only Savior*
Matthew 1:21 says Jesus “will save His people from their sins”. What does it mean that He is the “only one who can save”? How does this challenge pluralistic ideas that “all roads lead to God”?
4. *Freedom vs Slavery*
John 8:34 says “everyone who sins is a slave to sin”. What area of your life feels like slavery right now? How does Jesus as “Truth” bring freedom to that area?
5. *Response to the Message*
The sermon ends with a call to “turn to God and be baptized in the name of Jesus”. What is keeping you from responding to this call? What would “receiving the gift” look like for you today?
6. *Application*
1 Timothy 1:15 says Christ came to save sinners “of whom I am the worst”. How does Paul’s humility help us share this message with others without sounding judgmental?

To the saints of God and to you also, souls who will believe in the name of His Son, may Grace and Peace from the Lord Jesus Christ be with you. *. Preface* Love is the most talked-about word, yet the least understood. _Contact_ :+263778103973 *"Join this WhatsApp Group. Right here we already see the demonstration of love by God. 🟢 He gave His only Son as a gift to the World. A gift is something you’re given without having sought it or asked for it, you’re given it without doing anything to deserve it. This Son is a gift given to the world. The world did not ask for the Son. This gift is not many, it is only one. 🟢 The world is not righteous. And the world is where Satan dwells. The world is in captivity under the Devil. _We know that we are children of God, *and that the whole world lies under the power of the evil one.*_ 1 John 5:19 The world is a symbol of Satan’s kingdom. _She will give birth to a son, and you are to give Him the name Jesus, because He will save His people from their sins._ Matthew 1:21 That Son is called Jesus. He is the only one who can save, to take people out of sin. And Because He is coming to save His people through His Truth as He says here 👇👇 _Then you will know the truth, and the truth *will set you free*._ Jesus answered them, “I tell you the truth, everyone who sins is a slave *to sin*. Now a slave has no permanent place in the family, but a son belongs to it forever. So if the Son sets you free, you will be *free* indeed.” John 8:32, 34-36 God cares for His people, He won’t leave their souls in distress under the yoke of sin. He brought the Deliverer, His Son, so that people may be set free through Him. Believing (receiving the gift) delivers from death because the whole world lies in death. So receiving Him brings salvation. There is nowhere else you will find true Love except in God. *Here is a trustworthy saying that deserves full acceptance: Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners—of whom I am the worst.* 1 Timothy 1:15 Salvation is not searched for, it just comes. And the world cannot justify itself, it failed to save itself. This word is being preached to you so that you may turn to God and be baptized in the name of Jesus, so that your sins may be wiped away. *. Summary* This sermon centers on John 3:16 and explains God’s love as sacrificial, undeserved, and freeing. Three main truths are laid out: 1. 📝 Lesson - 3 Key Points* *Point 1: God’s Love is a Gift, Not a Wage* _Text: John 3:16_ We don’t earn God’s love. The world never asked for a Savior, yet God gave one. A gift is received by faith, not by works. If you’re trying to “be good enough” for God, you’ve missed the point. He loved first. *Point 2: The World is Sick and Cannot Heal Itself* _Text: 1 John 5:19, Acts 17:30-31_ The sermon calls the world “Satan’s kingdom” - a place of sin, captivity, and coming judgment. Religion, money, or self-effort cannot fix a heart enslaved to sin. Diagnosis must come before cure. We must see our need before we value the Savior. *Point 3: Jesus Brings Freedom Through Truth* _Text: John 8:32-36, Matthew 1:21_ Jesus didn’t come just to improve us, He came to free us. Sin makes us slaves, but the Son makes us sons. His truth breaks chains. This freedom is accessed by belief - receiving the gift - which leads to repentance and baptism in Jesus’ name for forgiveness of sins. *📚. Study Questions* Use these for personal reflection or small group discussion: 1. *Understanding the Gift* The sermon says “a gift is given without seeking or asking”. How does that change the way you relate to God compared to trying to “earn” His approval? 2. *Diagnosing the Problem* Why does the sermon emphasize that “the world is not righteous” and “lies under the power of the evil one”? Do you agree with this view of the world? Why or why not? 3. *Jesus the Only Savior* Matthew 1:21 says Jesus “will save His people from their sins”. What does it mean that He is the “only one who can save”? How does this challenge pluralistic ideas that “all roads lead to God”? 4. *Freedom vs Slavery* John 8:34 says “everyone who sins is a slave to sin”. What area of your life feels like slavery right now? How does Jesus as “Truth” bring freedom to that area? 5. *Response to the Message* The sermon ends with a call to “turn to God and be baptized in the name of Jesus”. What is keeping you from responding to this call? What would “receiving the gift” look like for you today? 6. *Application* 1 Timothy 1:15 says Christ came to save sinners “of whom I am the worst”. How does Paul’s humility help us share this message with others without sounding judgmental? 🌱 *Let’s Grow Together in Faith, Wisdom, and the Grace of Jesus Christ* 👉 *Join & follow us on our social platforms now:* *WhatsApp* 1. *Channel – Shoko RaMwari *: https://whatsapp.com/channel/0029VbAU9dB1t90jjJSstw3E 2. *Channel – English*: https://whatsapp.com/channel/0029VaEKxaVG3R3exEJg2b1D 3. *Group – Shona*: https://chat.whatsapp.com/HG0p8rCPnVnBLyWs1WdVfO *Facebook* 4. *Group – English & Shona*: https://www.facebook.com/groups/249458357101873/ 5. *Page*: https://www.facebook.com/share/1CJVbv8NXD/ 6. *Telegram Group* https://t.me/thegloriou 7. *Twitter* https://x.com/KnowledgeBhande 8. - The Image of God
So God created man in His own image.
In the image of God He created him;
male and female He created them.
— Genesis 1:27
What is the Image of God?
For He has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son He loves, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.
He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation.
— Colossians 1:13–15
The Son is the Image of God.
The god of this world has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel that displays the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.
— 2 Corinthians 4:4
Christ is the Image of God.
The Son is the radiance of God’s glory and the exact representation of His being, sustaining all things by His powerful word. After He had provided purification for sins, He sat down at the right hand of the Majesty in heaven.
— Hebrews 1:3

Subtopic: *The Revelation of Father and Mother*
“Honor your father and your mother, so that you may live long in the land the LORD your God is giving you.”
— Exodus 20:12
In the first section, we saw that this commandment was given specifically to the children of Israel (Exodus 19:1–3). It was not handed to the Gentiles. By natural birth, Gentiles were not under the Ten Commandments.
[highlight]
The entire Old Testament is a prophetic witness pointing to the Messiah. The command to honor father and mother is part of the Law given through Moses to Israel (Exodus 19:1–3; John 1:17).
When the Messiah came, He declared: “Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them.” (Matthew 5:17). Moses himself wrote about Christ (John 1:45–47).
Thus, the commandment “Honor your father and your mother” ultimately points to Christ.
True Israel Revealed
Paul explains that true Israel is not outward but inward: “A person is not a Jew who is one only outwardly… No, a person is a Jew who is one inwardly; and circumcision is circumcision of the heart, by the Spirit.” (Romans 2:28–29).
Circumcision here means righteousness. And Christ Himself is the true Israel.
“I am the true vine, and my Father is the gardener.” (John 15:1)
Israel was once called God’s vine (Psalm 80:8; Isaiah 5:1–2,7; Jeremiah 2:21). But Jesus declares Himself to be the true vine — the true Israel.
Glorious Gospel Of Jesus Christ
The Son and the Father
Israel was a shadow pointing to the Messiah. In Christ, Israel is fulfilled.
“For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.” (John 3:16)
Thus, God is the Father who is to be honored by His Son, Israel — Jesus Christ.
Christ Himself testifies:
“I have brought you glory on earth by finishing the work you gave me to do.” (John 17:4)
Here we see Jesus honoring His Father. The commandment is fulfilled in Him.
The Father is revealed.
The Son honors the Father revealed.

- *CHRIST — THE STUMBLING BLOCK TO THE JEWS*
> But we preach Christ crucified, a stumbling block to the Jews and foolishness to the Gentiles. But to those who are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ is the power of God and the wisdom of God. For the foolishness of God is wiser than men, and the weakness of God is stronger than men.
> 1 Corinthians 1:23–25
---
Paul’s Message and the Offense of the Gospel
Paul, a servant of God, together with all witnesses of the Living God, preached the Word that greatly offended the Jews — the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ, who was hung upon a tree for the lost.
The Jews are those who refuse to accept the Word of Faith and the Grace of God; they reject the Son as the Messiah. They cling to the Law of Moses without true understanding.
Moses preached about faith and grace through the Messiah, Christ. In his writings, Moses spoke of Christ:
> “If you believed Moses, you would believe Me, for he wrote about Me. But since you do not believe what he wrote, how will you believe what I say?” (John 5:46–47)
---
The Stumbling Block
The Jews insist that salvation comes through keeping the Law of Moses — avoiding unclean foods, observing feasts like Passover — yet all these things were written concerning Christ, who fulfills the Scriptures (Matthew 5:17).
In their own way of righteousness, God placed a stumbling block — Christ Himself — to expose and destroy their false doctrine.
> “Do you know that the Pharisees were offended when they heard this saying?” Jesus replied, “Every plant that My heavenly Father has not planted will be uprooted. Leave them; they are blind guides. If the blind lead the blind, both will fall into a pit.” (Matthew 15:12–14)
---
Children of the Serpent
The Pharisees and Sadducees were called brood of vipers:
> “You brood of vipers! Who warned you to flee from the wrath to come?” (Matthew 3:7)
That same serpent appeared to Eve (Genesis 3:1) and is revealed again in Revelation 12:9 as Satan, the deceiver of the whole world.
Jesus said to the Jews:
> “You are of your father the devil, and you want to carry out your father’s desires. He was a murderer from the beginning and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him.” (John 8:44)
The children of Satan — the serpent — are those who stumble at the Gospel of Jesus Christ, the stumbling block to the lost.
---
The Leaven of False Doctrine
The Jews, the Pharisees, and Sadducees teach doctrines that are dead and without the Spirit of God — pure lies from Satan (John 8:44).
> “Beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and Sadducees.” Then they understood that He was not speaking of bread, but of the doctrine of the Pharisees and Sadducees. (Matthew 16:11–12)
They sit on Moses’ seat (Matthew 23:1–2), but they have corrupted the Gospel. Their teachings have become poison — the foundation of what many call Christianity, which is deception before God.
---
Israel’s Lost Zeal
Paul speaks of his brothers, the Israelites:
> “My heart’s desire and prayer to God for Israel is that they may be saved. For I bear them witness that they have a zeal for God, but not according to knowledge. For they, being ignorant of God’s righteousness, sought to establish their own righteousness and did not submit to the righteousness of God.” (Romans 10:1–3)
They are zealous but blind — deceived by Satan, the god of this world (2 Corinthians 4:4). Their blindness can only be removed in Christ (2 Corinthians 3:14–16).
---
The Pit of Destruction
Those who reject the Gospel are blind, led by Satan, the great blind leader — and all will fall into the pit.
> “Then death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. The lake of fire is the second death. Anyone whose name was not found written in the Book of Life was thrown into the lake of fire.” (Revelation 20:14–15)
---
The Love and Mercy of God
Listen, you who stumble at the Gospel of Jesus Christ — God the Father is merciful and loving. He gave His Son so that you might be saved through Him.
> “For God so loved the world that He gave His only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.” (John 3:16)
> “Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever hears My word and believes Him who sent Me has eternal life and will not be judged but has crossed over from death to life.” (John 5:24)
This Word is preached so that you may turn to the Living God and your souls be saved through faith in Jesus Christ. Amen.

### **CHRISTIANS?**
This religion is very large and has spread all over the world.
It holds great power in global economics as well as politics.
It claims that we are followers of Jesus Christ and we believe in Him.
But is this true?
Is it true that Christianity is God's way?
Is it a true religion?
Christianity is not a single, united entity. Within it, there are many branches that call themselves churches — for example, Roman Catholic, ZAOGA, Anglican, UMC, Mapostori (Apostolic sects) who call themselves Spirit churches, Pentecostal churches, and all other groups, including your own.
From the past until today, people have always asked the same questions:
— What is Christianity?
— Where is the true church found?
— Who is its owner, and who is in it?
We are living in a world full of many groups that call themselves "Christians."
Each group has its own doctrines, its own traditions, and its own practices.
Each one claims to represent God and claims to follow Christ.
But if we look closely, we see division instead of unity, and contradiction instead of harmony within Christianity.
This leads us to ask a great mystery:
If God is one, why are there so many churches?
Why does Christianity have so many different beliefs?
It was non-believers who first began to call the followers of Christ "Christians."
The disciples of Jesus Christ were first called Christians by people who did not believe in Christ.
And this name was given as a mockery, implying that they followed a deceiver, Jesus Christ.
> “Then Barnabas went to Tarsus to look for Saul, and when he found him, he brought him to Antioch. So for a whole year Barnabas and Saul met with the church and taught great numbers of people. The disciples were called Christians first at Antioch.”
> — Acts 11:25–26
>
In the Scriptures, the people of Christ are called:
* Disciples — Acts 6:1
* Saints (holy people chosen by God) — Romans 1:7; Acts 9:13
* Brothers/Brethren — Acts 9:30
* Believers — Acts 10:45
Therefore, we see that the Scriptures do not accept the name "Christians." Christianity as a religion does not come from the Living God.
All who truly receive Christ are called children of God, not Christians.
> “But to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God.”
> — John 1:12
>
**CHRISTIANITY IS AN ABOMINATION TO GOD. IT IS A FALSE RELIGION.**
Paul never agreed to be called a Christian:
> “King Agrippa, do you believe the prophets? I know you do.”
> Then Agrippa said to Paul, “Do you think that in such a short time you can persuade me to be a Christian?”
> Paul replied, “Short time or long—I pray to God that not only you but all who are listening to me today may become what I am, except for these chains.”
> — Acts 26:27–29
>
Paul wanted them to be believers in Christ, not "Christians." The truth of 2 Corinthians 5:13–15 was working powerfully within him.
There is no such thing as "Christians" according to the Scriptures.
Peter used this name merely imitating the way people spoke:
> “However, if you suffer as a Christian, do not be ashamed, but praise God that you bear that name.”
> — 1 Peter 4:16
>
It is a name that was given as a mockery by people.
Now it has become a religion called Christianity, with people who call themselves followers of Christ, but they are not.

Why does Christianity have so many different beliefs? 💥 It was non-believers who first began to call the followers of Christ "Christians." The disciples of Jesus Christ were first called Christians by people who did not believe in Christ. The disciples were called Christians first at Antioch.” > — Acts 11:25–26 > In the Scriptures, the people of Christ are called: * Disciples — Acts 6:1 * Saints (holy people chosen by God) — Romans 1:7; Acts 9:13 * Brothers/Brethren — Acts 9:30 * Believers — Acts 10:45 Therefore, we see that the Scriptures do not accept the name "Christians." Christianity as a religion does not come from the Living God. All who truly receive Christ are called children of God, not Christians. > “But to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God.” > — John 1:12 > ➡️ **CHRISTIANITY IS AN ABOMINATION TO GOD. IT IS A FALSE RELIGION.** Paul never agreed to be called a Christian: > “King Agrippa, do you believe the prophets? I know you do.” > Then Agrippa said to Paul, “Do you think that in such a short time you can persuade me to be a Christian?” > Paul replied, “Short time or long—I pray to God that not only you but all who are listening to me today may become what I am, except for these chains.” > — Acts 26:27–29 > Paul wanted them to be believers in Christ, not "Christians." The truth of 2 Corinthians 5:13–15 was working powerfully within him. There is no such thing as "Christians" according to the Scriptures. Peter used this name merely imitating the way people spoke: > “However, if you suffer as a Christian, do not be ashamed, but praise God that you bear that name.” > — 1 Peter 4:16 > It is a name that was given as a mockery by people. Now it has become a religion called Christianity, with people who call themselves followers of Christ, but they are not.WHATSAPP.COMSHOKO RAMWARIChannel • 3K followers • Asi kuna avo vakadanwa naMwari, zvose vaJudha navaGiriki, Kristu isimba raMwari nouchenjeri hwaMwari. 1 VaKorinde 1:240 Commentaires 0 Parts 14 Vue1
Amen.

The subject of the tithe points directly to the Lord Jesus Christ. Its meaning is not merely about giving material offerings, but it is a word that requires interpretation. The entire Old Testament was written concerning Him.
Scriptural Witnesses
- Philip found Nathanael and said to him, “We have found Him of whom Moses in the Law, and also the prophets, wrote—Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph.” (John 1:45)
- “If you believed Moses, you would believe Me, for he wrote about Me. But since you do not believe what he wrote, how will you believe what I say?” (John 5:46–47)
These passages show us that the tithe is embedded in the writings of Moses. It was practiced in the physical way commanded by the LORD, but it carried deeper meaning: symbols, figures, parables, and prophecies that all point to the Messiah.
Everything done and lived by Israel was prophetic of Christ. That is why He declared, “I have come to fulfill the Scriptures written about Me.” The tithe finds its true fulfillment in Christ Jesus.

Misuse of the Tithe
The carnal man who takes the tithe only as a physical act under the sun, using Scripture to exploit others, is engaging in deception. Such misuse—turning it into a means of theft, false teaching, or satanic manipulation—is not the truth of God’s Word.

Summary
- The tithe is not just about material offerings; it is a prophetic shadow pointing to Christ.
- Moses and the prophets wrote about Him, and the tithe is part of that testimony.
- In Christ, the tithe is fulfilled, revealing the deeper spiritual meaning.
- Misusing the tithe for selfish gain distorts God’s Word and leads to falsehood.

- *TWO MEN GOING TO THE VILLAGE CALLED EMAUSI*
Part 1c – *Their Eyes Opened When the Bread Was Broken*
https://whatsapp.com/channel/0029VbAU9dB1t90jjJSstw3E
Luke 24:14 – They were talking with each other about everything that had happened.
15 – As they discussed these things, Jesus Himself came up and walked along with them; 16 but their eyes were kept from recognizing Him.
Luke 24:30 – When He was at the table with them, He took bread, gave thanks, broke it, and began to give it to them. 31 Then their eyes were opened and they recognized Him, and He disappeared from their sight.
32 – They asked each other, “Were not our hearts burning within us while He talked with us on the road and opened the Scriptures to us?”
33 – They got up and returned at once to Jerusalem. There they found the Eleven and those with them, assembled together 34 saying, “It is true! The Lord has risen and has appeared to Simon.”
35 – Then the two told what had happened on the way, and how Jesus was recognized by them when He broke the bread.
---
Why Were Their Eyes Closed?
The men were spiritually blind.
They spoke of Jesus but did not know Him.
Jesus was preached to the blind.
This blindness is the very condition Christ came to heal. Sin blinds the heart. Every sinner is spiritually blind.
---
The Mission of Christ
Luke 4:18–19 –
“The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me,
because He has anointed Me
to proclaim good news to the poor.
He has sent Me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners
and recovery of sight for the blind,
to set the oppressed free,
to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor.”
Jesus declares: I was sent that the blind may see.
He is the Word of God (John 1:1,14; Revelation 19:13).
The Word was anointed and sent so that the blind may see.
---
Spiritual Blindness
2 Corinthians 4:4 – The god of this world has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel that displays the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.
This “god of the world” is Satan (John 12:31; 16:11).
The blind are known by:
- Unbelief in the Word of Christ.
- Clinging to false gospels and traditions.
- Practicing evil.
- Mocking the living God.
- Being antichrists, preaching against the truth.
---
God’s Love Revealed
The two men recognized Jesus when He broke the bread.
Luke 24:30–35 shows that the breaking of bread opened their eyes.
Compare with Matthew 26:26 –
While they were eating, Jesus took bread, and when He had given thanks, He broke it and gave it to His disciples, saying, “Take and eat; this is My body.”
---
Meaning of the Bread
- The blessed bread is righteousness (Acts 3:26).
- The bread is His body – the Church (Colossians 1:18).
- The Church is the body, the bread, the food that opens blind eyes.
When the two men ate the bread, they were enlightened.
They ate the Church – the blessed body – and were opened to salvation.
---
Jesus the Living Bread
John 6:35, 50–51 –
“I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to Me will never go hungry, and whoever believes in Me will never be thirsty.
This is the bread that comes down from heaven, so that anyone may eat of it and not die. I am the living bread that came down from heaven. Whoever eats this bread will live forever. This bread is My flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.”
---
What Did Jesus Mean?
- “I am the Church (the body-bread) living from heaven.”
- “I am the Church that gives eternal life.”
The two blind men lived when they ate this bread from heaven.
Their eyes were opened, they entered the Church, and they knew the living God.
Now you too may be among the blind, but if you hear the Word and believe, you will be saved. Amen. Let’s grow together in faith, wisdom, and grace of JesusChrist.

Mateo 3:120 Commentaires 0 Parts 24 Vue - Mystery of the Living God's Church
Perfect—let’s take what you’ve drafted and elevate it into a polished manuscript chapter. I’ll smooth transitions, enrich the tone, and give it the flow of a book that teaches, inspires, and carries authority. Here’s the refined version of Part One:

Mystery of the Living God's Church Preface In every generation, people have wrestled with the same questions: What is the true Church? Perfect—let’s take what you’ve drafted and elevate it into a polished manuscript chapter. I’ll smooth transitions, enrich the tone, and give it the flow of a book that teaches, inspires, and carries authority. Here’s the refined version of Part One: Part One: What Is the Church of God? The Question of Many Peoples In every city, town, and village, one cannot help but notice the multitude of groups that call themselves “churches.” Each belongs to a different denomination or religious movement, each with its own teachings, traditions, and ways of worship. Yet, despite their shared claim of serving God, they do not walk together in unity. Every group insists on its own truth. Every group defends its own doctrine. And though nearly all of them speak about God, they do not agree with one another. This reality raises deep and troubling questions in the hearts of many: - How many churches does God truly have? - What exactly is a church? - Which one is the true church? - Who is the owner and builder of the church? - How can we find the true church? These are not small questions. They go to the very heart of faith and salvation. To answer them, we must turn not to human traditions or institutions, but to the Word of the Living God. The Church as the Body of Christ The Scriptures reveal that the Church is not a building, a denomination, or an earthly organization. Instead, it is described as the Body of Christ. - Colossians 1:18 — “And He is the head of the body, the church; He is the beginning, the firstborn from among the dead, so that in everything He might have the supremacy.” - Ephesians 4:4–5 — “There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called to one hope when you were called; one Lord, one faith, one baptism.” The Church is one body, with Christ as its Head. Believers are united to Him and to one another as members of this living body. This is the first great truth: the Church is not many, but one. --- The Church as Blessed Bread The Scriptures also reveal another mystery: the Church is represented as bread. - Matthew 26:26 — “While they were eating, Jesus took bread, and when he had given thanks, he broke it and gave it to his disciples, saying, ‘Take and eat; this is my body.’” Here, bread symbolizes the Body of Christ. Jesus Christ Is the Church The mystery deepens further: Jesus Himself declares that He is the Bread of Life. - John 6:35 — “I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never go hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty.” - John 6:48 — “I am the bread of life.” If the bread is the Body, and the Body is the Church, then the Church is Christ Himself. He is the foundation, the head, the life, and the very substance of the Church. To understand the Church is to understand Christ. To belong to the Church is to belong to Him. The Rock and the Builder Jesus confirmed this truth when He spoke to Peter: - Matthew 16:17–18 — “Blessed are you, Simon son of Jonah, for this was not revealed to you by flesh and blood, but by my Father in heaven. And I tell you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of Hades will not overcome it.” Notice: Jesus says “my church”—singular, not plural. He is the builder, the owner, and the foundation. His Church is not a man-made institution but a spiritual building established on the Word of God. And it cannot be destroyed by the powers of hell. Entering Into Christ (the Church) How then does one enter this true Church? 1. The Key Understanding - Jesus Christ is the Church. To enter the Church is to enter the Son of God (1 John 5:20). 2. The Gift of God - John 3:16 — God gave His Son as a gift. A gift is not earned; it is received. Salvation is not by human effort but by grace. 3. The Truths of Salvation - The world did not ask for the Son, yet He came to save. - The world was unbelieving, yet salvation requires faith in Him. 4. Christ the Way - John 14:6 — Jesus is the only way to the Father. - John 5:24 — Hearing His Word and believing brings eternal life. → Hearing the Word → Faith → New Birth → Entry into God’s family. 5. The Family Picture - Just as you did not choose your earthly family, you do not place yourself into God’s family. Christ Himself brings you in (John 10:16). 6. The Blood of Christ - Ephesians 2:13 — We are brought near by His blood. It is His blood that places us into His Church. 7. The Great Truth - Christ is revealed. - The Word is heard. - Faith is born. - By His blood, we are placed in Him. Summary of the Mystery - The Church is the Body of Christ, with Christ as its Head. To be born again.0 Commentaires 0 Parts 40 Vue1
- Sermon: *The Truth That Sets Free*
John 8:32 – “And you will know the truth, and the truth will make you free.”
---
Introduction
Freedom is one of the deepest desires of the human heart. Nations fight for it, people sacrifice for it, and cultures celebrate it. Yet Jesus speaks of a freedom far greater than political liberty or physical release. He declares that true freedom comes through knowing the truth—and that truth is found in Him.
---
What Is This Freedom?
Christ came to set men free (Luke 4:18). But what kind of freedom does He mean?
- Not political freedom – Jesus did not come to overthrow governments.
- Not physical freedom – He did not promise release from earthly slavery.
- But freedom from the bondage of sin (John 8:34).
This freedom includes:
- Release from guilt and punishment (Romans 6:18, 22; Titus 2:14; Hebrews 9:15, 26).
- Deliverance from condemnation under God’s holy law (Romans 8:1–2; Galatians 3:13; 5:1).
- Victory over the fear of death (Hebrews 2:14–15; Psalm 49:15; 1 Corinthians 15:56–57).
- Escape from the empty ways of the world (Galatians 1:4; 1 Peter 1:17–18).
- Freedom from the bondage of possessions (Philippians 4:11–13; 1 Timothy 6:6–8; Hebrews 13:5).
- Liberation from any tie that hinders full devotion to Christ (Luke 14:26–33).
This is spiritual freedom—a “glorious liberty” (Romans 8:21) that only Christ can give.
---
How Does Christ Give This Freedom?
Jesus gives freedom through the knowledge of the truth.
- A true disciple comes to know Christ Himself, who is the Truth (John 1:17; 14:6).
- He learns the truth about Christ’s mission—why He came, what He accomplished, and what it means for us.
- He discovers the truth about himself—his need for salvation, his identity in Christ, and his purpose in God’s kingdom.
- He embraces the truth of Christ’s teachings, which illuminate life and lead to liberation.
Knowledge of the truth is not mere information—it is revelation that transforms and sets free.
---
The Bondage of Lies
Why do so many remain enslaved? Because men are held captive by:
- The lies of Satan (John 15:21).
- The deceptions of false religion.
- The power of sin and unbelief.
- The ignorance of Christ’s truth.
Only Christ’s truth can break these chains. No philosophy, no ritual, no human wisdom can liberate the soul. Freedom is found in Christ alone.
---
Conclusion
Jesus Christ is the Truth, and His truth alone sets us free. He frees us from sin, guilt, fear, and every chain that binds us. This freedom is not temporary—it is eternal. It is not partial—it is complete. And it is not earned—it is given by grace.

- From Colossians 1:18, the Church is revealed to be the BODY of CHRIST.
- Jesus Christ is head over one body, which means there is one true Church.

Part 2 – The Body as Bread
The Church = Bread = Spiritual Life
- Matthew 26:26: “Take, eat; this is My Body.”
- The Body of Christ is symbolic bread — the Church is spiritual food that gives life.
- John 6:53–58 clarifies this is spiritual, not literal flesh.
- Jesus uses symbolic language throughout Scripture to express deep truths (cf. Matthew 16:6–12; John 6:35).
Jesus is the Bread of Life
“I am the bread of life… the living bread that came down from heaven.” — John 6:48–51
- This bread is not physical like manna but eternal, nourishing believers with everlasting life.
- This means:
- Jesus is the Bread
- The Bread is His Body
- The Body is the Church
- Therefore, Jesus = The Church of Life
This Church Comes Down from Heaven
- The true Church is not man-made, not built by popes or councils.
- It is spiritual and founded in Heaven, in the person of Jesus Christ.
Beware of Counterfeits
Denominations that teach conflicting doctrines are not the one true Church.
They are branches of deception, not rooted in Christ.
Truth is one. Amen.

- The bread was blessed before being given to the disciples, meaning:
The Church is blessed spiritual food
Only true disciples partake of it.
Jesus Himself IS the Church
- John 6:35, 48: “I am the bread of life.”
- Since the Bread = the Church, then Jesus = the Church.
