- The Bible was written on three continents.
Asia.
Africa.
Europe.
In three languages.
Hebrew.
Aramaic.
Greek.
By over 40 different men —
Shepherds.
Kings.
Prophets.
Fishermen.
A doctor.
Across roughly 1,500 years.
Yet it tells one continuous story:
Creation.
Fall.
Redemption.
Christ.
Different writers.
Different centuries.
Different cultures.
One voice.
Because behind the human hands was a divine Author.
Men held the pens.

- I just got it from a site called "Remaining Catholic," and I deeply agree with it.
---------
"The lukewarm Christian is not persecuted – because he is not dangerous to the darkness. He is not attacked – because he does not stand for anything. He does not suffer – because he does not fight. But such a life is not life, but spiritual anesthesia.
God did not make a compromise with us, but a covenant. And the covenant is not lukewarm. The covenant was written in blood – the blood of Christ. Anyone who takes this seriously cannot be lukewarm. Because lukewarmness is not only weakness – it is betrayal."

- One of the largest Christian pilgrimages in Central Europe and the world. A 458-year-old tradition, it is held by Hungarian Christians every year on the Saturday before Pentecost Sunday. 335,000 people took part this year, and not a single handkerchief was left behind as garbage after the mass.
They say that every Hungarian should go to Transylvania, Székely Land, and take part in such a pilgrimage at least once in their life.
The feast of the Virgin Mary of Csíksomlyó is moving to tears.

- This is an ancient Hungarian carving, still known and used by 4-5% of Hungarians, just as Seklers (székely) in Transylvania for example. I am personally not Sekler, having only one branch of my family tree to them from the XIV. century.

It used to be held at Pentecost in every year in Transylvania since 1567. It is a Hungarian Christian event with Roman Catholic roots (but getting a little bit ecumenical nowadays, all Christians are welcome), when 4-500000 Hungarians are together from different places of the world, mainly from Transylvania and Hungary, but also from Australia to the US, celebrating our Lord and Pentecost.
I personally was participating this event 13 times in my life with my family.
There is a saying in Hungary, that "every Christian Hungarian must be there at least one time in life".
So wonderful, touching and tearful, I recommend everyone to visit there. This is a picture of Central Europe's biggest Christian event, the so-called "Csíksomlyói búcsú".
