This is an ancient Hungarian carving, still known and used by 4-5% of Hungarians, just as Seklers (székely) in Transylvania for example. I am personally not Sekler, having only one branch of my family tree to them from the XIV. century.
The writing means: "Glory to Jesus Christ".
