“God Delivers Jacob”
Introduction
Genesis 31 is a story of transition and trust. After 20 years of serving Laban, Jacob finally obeys God’s call to return to his homeland. What began as a season of refuge has become a season of conflict.
This chapter teaches that when God says it’s time to move, we must trust Him to protect and provide. Jacob leaves Laban’s household quietly, facing family tension, pursuit, and confrontation — but through it all, God’s presence goes with him.

Jacob denies taking anything, unaware that Rachel has hidden the idols under her saddle. Laban searches everywhere but finds nothing.

relationships.
