• "Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him that loved us."
    — Romans 8:37

"We go to Christ for forgiveness, and then too often look to the law for power to fight our sins. Paul thus rebukes us, "O foolish Galatians, who hath bewitched you, that ye should not obey the truth? This only would I learn of you, Received ye the Spirit by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith? are ye so foolish? having begun in the Spirit, are ye now made perfect by the flesh?" Take your sins to Christ's cross, for the old man can only be crucified there: we are crucified with Him. The only weapon to fight sin with is the spear which pierced the side of Jesus. To give an illustration-you want to overcome an angry temper, how do you go to work? It is very possible you have never tried the right way of going to Jesus with it. How did I get salvation? I came to Jesus just as I was, and I trusted him to save me. I must kill my angry temper in the same way? It is the only way in which I can ever kill it. I must go to the cross with it, and say to Jesus, "Lord, I trust thee to deliver me from it." This is the only way to give it a death-blow. Are you covetous? Do you feel the world entangle you? You may struggle against this evil so long as you please, but if it be your besetting sin, you will never be delivered from it in any way but by the blood of Jesus. Take it to Christ. Tell him, "Lord, I have trusted thee, and thy name is Jesus, for thou dost save thy people from their sins; Lord, this is one of my sins; save me from it!" Ordinances are nothing without Christ as a means of mortification. Your prayers, and your repentances, and your tears-the whole of them put together-are worth nothing apart from Him. "None but Jesus can do helpless sinners good;" or helpless saints either. You must be conquerors through Him who hath loved you, if conquerors at all. Our laurels must grow among His olives in Gethsemane."

  • Healing for anxiety
    23 April 2026
‘Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.’
    1 Peter 5:7 NIV

Paul wrote: ‘Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand’ (Philippians 4:6-7 NLT). Jesus said: ‘Don’t worry about these things, saying, “What will we eat? What will we drink? What will we wear?” These things dominate the thoughts of unbelievers, but your heavenly Father already knows all your needs. Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need’ (Matthew 6:31-33 NLT).

Instead of meditating on our problems, we need to meditate on how good and loving our God really is. When we keep our minds on our problems, we create anxiety. But when we keep our minds on the promises of God, we get infused with His peace. So allow the promises of God to heal your soul of worry and stress by focusing on His goodness and willingness to show Himself strong on your behalf. ‘The eyes of the Lord search the whole earth in order to strengthen those whose hearts are fully committed to him’ (2 Chronicles 16:9 NLT).

Our heavenly Father loves us dearly and already knows everything we need. When we take hold of that truth, fear and doubt fall by the wayside. Confession: ‘I don’t give in to needless worry. I pray about problems rather than complain about them. God hears my prayers, and I thank Him for all He has provided for me. I experience God’s peace because I know He hears me and has already answered my prayers in Christ.’

  • I'LL SEE YOU AGAIN by Ben Streett, Th.M (May 10, 2026)

[Today's Scripture reading: John 11:32-44 KJV]

"I'm thinking of my sweet Mama up in Heaven today. I miss her, but I'll see her again.
This Mother's Day, many of us are reminded that death is a reality. As older and some younger folks, we have watched our mothers precede us in death. The glorious hope for many of us is that our mothers are in Heaven, and the reality is that we will see them again! Sadly, also, there are others who will not see their mothers again if they don't make the choice to transfer from death (spiritual) unto Life Eternal. What an awful thought that eternity will separate some from their precious mothers.

In today's scripture, Lazarus was one of the handfuls of people that Jesus raised from physical death to physical life. This was done to show that Jesus controlled the power over death, and his own resurrection from the dead proved his power over hell and the grave. In verse 32 and earlier in the chapter, we see that Mary, and then Martha, wept with a wailing hopeless cry. When Jesus saw this and the Jews that were there wailing (these were "professional" mourners who had not natural care for the loved ones) with them, and vs. 33 tells us that Jesus groaned in his spirit (anger toward the paid mourners) and was troubled.

Verse 35 is the shortest, but one of the most important verses in the Bible, "Jesus wept." The weeping that Jesus was doing was a silent shedding of tears, showing his humanity in his temporal love for this family. Here are some things we should take away from this incident:

There is no hope after death without Jesus
Faith is essential and has to have an object. Jesus is the "object" that proves that our faith is real. (vs. 40)
We cannot save ourselves. Jesus prays for us to have faith and a real belief that God the Father had sent him.
Lazarus' physical healing from death is a picture of God's spiritual healing from the second death... Hell.
Is your mother either in Heaven or is she on her way there? Do you KNOW for sure that you will be there with her for all of eternity? Will you see her again? Why take a chance? Lazarus died a physical death...twice. His soul lives today in Heaven because of his relationship with Jesus Christ. Salvation is not just a decision in time. It is a decision for all of Eternity. Seek him while you may.

I've always loved the song called "I'll See You again". Please take a few minutes to view the with Evangelist John R. Rice doing the recitation and Ray Hart doing the singing. They're both in Heaven now, and they have seen the reality of the message in the song.

  • A "GREAT" MESSAGE FOR US ALL - By Ben Streett, Th.M

    [Today's Scripture reading James 4:1-15]

"The following is attributed to Alexander the Great. Whether he actually said it, I don't know, but it is a great spiritual lesson that should help us put our lives in perspective of one(s) who may be standing at the doorway of Eternity.

*On his deathbed, Alexander the Great summoned his generals and told them his three ultimate wishes:

    The best doctors should carry his coffin;
The wealth he had accumulated (money, gold, precious stones) should be scattered along the way to his burial; and
His hands should be left hanging outside the coffin for all to see.

Surprised by these unusual requests, one of his generals asked Alexander to explain. Here is what he said:

    "I want the best doctors to carry my coffin to demonstrate that in the face of death, even the best doctors in the world have no power to heal;
I want the road to be covered with my treasure so that everybody sees that the wealth acquired on earth stays on earth."
"I want my hands to swing in the wind so that people understand that we come to this world empty-handed and we leave empty-handed after the most precious treasure of all is exhausted - Time."

Time is a precious treasure because it is limited on this earth. We can produce more material things, but we can't produce more time, especially in the view of eternity. When time ends, eternity begins.
The best gift we can ever give to our Lord is "redeeming the time" that we are given for His glory. Also, let's not forget that family and friends are worthy of the time that we share with them. May we all have the wisdom to give it."

  • OUR ON-CALL GOD - by Ben Streett, Th.M.

    Today's Scripture reading: Jeremiah 33:1-26

"In the 1930s, a pay phone call only cost 2 cents. Times were rough, and our country was in the midst of a deep depression. Penny loafers were invented that had a space with just enough room for a penny in each shoe. People had very little during that time, but if they had a couple of pennies, they could call a local friend or family to ask for help or to just talk for a while.

In today's scripture reading, Jeremiah is still imprisoned, but the Lord still gives him encouragement about his situation and that of Judah. The Lord reminded Jeremiah that if he needed Him, all he had to do was call unto Him. Jeremiah is often referred to as the weeping prophet, and the word "call" in verse 3 was for Jeremiah to cry out to God for help, relief, and protection. He was reminding the prophet that, as his Heavenly Father, He was always on call, just a prayer away.

Today, we still serve an oncall God who is ready and willing to answer us, and as our highlighted scripture says, show us "great and mighty things" that he wants to do to, and through us. When was the last time that you called on the Lord? He's just a prayer away. Selah"

  • URGENT PRAYER REQUEST — Persecuted Christian Girls in Pakistan
Please read, share, and pray. These are REAL cases happening RIGHT NOW in 2026.

CASE 1 — Maria Shahbaz (Age 13) | Lahore, Punjab
A 13-year-old Christian girl was kidnapped from her home in July 2025 by a 30-year-old Muslim man named Shehryar Ahmad. She was forced to convert to Islam and married against her will. Her parents fought for months in court to bring her home — but on March 25, 2026, Pakistan's Federal Constitutional Court ruled the marriage LEGAL and allowed her to remain with her kidnapper. The court rejected her official birth certificate and accepted a statement — which her family says was made under fear and coercion — that she converted willingly. Catholic bishops organized protest rallies. A 37-member national committee has been formed to review the case. Maria has not been returned to her family.

CASE 2 — Sidra Bibi (Age 15) | Jaranwala, Faisalabad, Punjab
At 3:00 AM on March 27, 2026, three armed men climbed the wall of the family home and abducted 15-year-old Sidra at gunpoint. Her father, a poor scrap collector, immediately reported the crime — but police falsely recorded Sidra's age as 17 instead of 15 on the official report. Later, fake documents appeared claiming Sidra had "converted to Islam after watching religious content on social media" — a claim her father called impossible since the family cannot afford a smartphone. The marriage certificate presented by the abductor does not even include Sidra's national ID number, which is required by law. Police have refused to take action to recover her.

CASE 3 — Neha Bibi (Age 16) | Kot Radha Kishan, Kasur, Punjab
Neha had been attending sewing classes at a center run by the family of a 45-year-old Muslim prayer leader named Sajid Ibrahim. On March 24, 2026, she went to class and never came home. When her father — a brick kiln worker — went to find her, Ibrahim's wives said she had already left. Police delayed registering a case for over a week. When they finally did act, the family was told Neha had appeared before a court in Lahore and "voluntarily" stated she had converted to Islam. Her father believes she was coached or coerced. No one has been arrested. Neha has not been found.

    THE BIGGER PICTURE
These are not isolated incidents. Human rights organizations documented over 100 forced conversions in 2023 alone. In 2026, the United Nations formally condemned Pakistan, calling this a "relentless practice" fueled by impunity. Police routinely ignore complaints. Courts accept fake documents. Abductors walk free.
These girls are daughters of brick kiln workers, sanitation workers, and scrap collectors — among Pakistan's most vulnerable and poorest families who have no power, no voice, and no protection.

    PLEASE PRAY FOR:

Maria, Sidra, and Neha — for their safety, strength, and return to their families
The grieving parents fighting an unjust system
Justice and legal reform in Pakistan
The global Church to raise its voice

Later, fake documents appeared claiming Sidra had "converted to Islam after watching religious content on social media" — a claim her father called impossible since the family cannot afford a smartphone. The marriage certificate presented by the abductor does not even include Sidra's national ID number, which is required by law. Police have refused to take action to recover her. 📌 CASE 3 — Neha Bibi (Age 16) | Kot Radha Kishan, Kasur, Punjab Neha had been attending sewing classes at a center run by the family of a 45-year-old Muslim prayer leader named Sajid Ibrahim. ⚠️ THE BIGGER PICTURE These are not isolated incidents.
